Fun Fact
BuzzFeed published a report claiming that Tumblr was utilized as a distribution channel for Russian agents to influence American voting habits during the 2016 presidential election in Feb 2018.
If ya'll need help making good assembled weapons in Lies of P, I have the perfect YouTuber I can recommend you guys to watch. His name is electrocrane and he showcases other people's assembled weapons in his videos. He's a small YouTuber, and out of everyone, I find myself going to his channel for Lies of P stuff the most.
Some of these assembled weapons he showcased are actually pretty good and fun! It's interesting to see other people's brain processes in weapons. Me, personally, my gears in my brain is slow af sometime. I stick with boss weapons LMAO! (Ugh puppet ripper, my beloved 💕)
Sometimes, I go on reddit for help on stats build and assembled weapon ideas too *cough*
Didn't think y'all would be so damn thirsty for a puppet getting wet but yes, his clothes react to the weather. Here's a clip of his shirt getting drenched!
I just can't stop thinking that Pinocchio was born a mere artisanal work, a puppet though amazingly detailed and human-like made to obey. Even if he's not subject to the grand covenant, his duty is to be a good boy so he never experienced nor understood fully feelings towards him.
So, when you'd cry for him, for the injustice he suffered during his brief existence, when you'd sigh of relief seeing him coming back in one piece, instinctively wrapping your arms around the tense and cold line of his shoulders, Pinocchio would stay perfectly still, puzzled. Your warm soft body pressed against his tall hard shape, your heart beating wildly on his chest would be almost unphatomable for him.
Gaining humanity though P would start to understand, slowly but still. Slowly he'd start to think he can deserve kindness and love, that he needs them, to feel the warmth of a body, the gentle stroke of loving fingers.
So he would not remain impassive, short-circuited anymore. Pinocchio would return your hug, goofy at first, suddenly self conscious of that freezing hard body of him.
But still he doesn't want to let go. Now the hammering in your chest reflects itself in the pounding machinery inside his body.
Pinocchio never was very much of a chatterbox. Since you two met he would pretty much nod, hum and say a word or two from time to time in the flattiest voice and a blank expression.
But in time he'd start asking you questions. That's pretty much the way he uses to express trust and closeness. He does not simply seek for knowledge, he wants you to answer. Same goes for feelings.
P could be giving you a hard time with that, because he's pure and clueless. You might fall SO hard for his look: confused and somewhat pained.
"Tears... Are you crying for me?"
"Your heart is pounding. It's me?"

And yet again this turned out sooooo long. I'm sorry 🙏
I hope this whole thing makes sense. I'm desperate for some content on P. I really need to start writing a fanfiction.
Jacked up the brightness obscenely on the menu screen after Romeo's fight. Looks like the papers are articles "about the plague" (pretty sure these are on some walls or the floor somewhere too; just wanted to note it's not unique here but omg what if there WERE unique papers from/to Romeo).
A LOP art book is on the way!! + notes on korean interview with art direction team
The official LOP Art book is currently in production!! (from this set of interviews) [link]
TONS of amazing content over at korean language interview with the art team!! I wanted to share because I think yall would really enjoy. If you like, you can just use google translate to read it pretty effectively. I myself am using google translate. (they also actually discuss pinocchio's freckles!!)
LOP development started with only 30 people and at time of interview had grown to 69 (there's another article i will dig up later that mentions they ended at around 100 people?). Interesting to me because that's really not a ton of people for a project of this size
funnily enough, the art team claims they were never trying to make pinocchio "attractive" or beautiful. They focused on creating a character that was both artificial and human, as though he was in between a doll and a human being [I reckon he just kind of turned out that way, probably because of the inclusion of said doll-like features. LOOK AT THOSE DOLLY LASHES AND GLASSY EYES.]
they also talk about the freckles here!! Art Director's answer on the freckles:
basically that geppetto gave him freckles because he wanted to humanize pinocchio, since he is "ultimately a doll" [i find this kind of tragic]
More on Pinocchio's character design: REALLY interesting response that actually, Pinocchio is more "flawed"
Q. I also had the feeling that [he was] a typical idol who was pretty and handsome.
A. Art Director Cha Byeong-jun: Actually, if you look at the facial shape, Pinocchio in <The Lie of P> has more imperfections.
Antonia herself as a metaphor for the "fallen krat", a once powerful and prosperous city now fallen to ruin.
