Perfect Fit (Thanat): I chose Perfect Fit because it's complete with 2 volumes and is available in English, but I'm a huge Thanat fan so any other works from them could make it into the list to be honest. Here's my review and why I'm especially fond of this work. Other Futekiya favorites that come to mind: I Didn't Mean to Fall in Love (Suzumaru Minta), One Room Angel (Harada), Can I Buy Your Love From a Vending Machine (Yoshii Haruaki)

Your Eyes My Words (Morphish): I don't see this manhwa being talked in my small circle of friends, but comparing the view count with other BL series I'm reading on Tapas, it's not exactly a popular work with only 60k views. Which is okay, it's my duty to share them with you! Here's my review and I hope everyone gives it a shot! Other Tapas favorites I'm reading weekly: The Insatiable Man (Lee Huchu), Between the Stars (Sri)

Play After Call (Ohtako Mame): This one unfortunately doesn't have an official English release but it does have one in French, if you know the language! I wrote a Twitter thread on my first impressions a while back, but I went back to rereading it a couple of times after finishing it. I love Dom x Sub Universe in general, but Play After Call is so simple yet so tender and emotionally captivating that I know I'll come back to it in the future as well.

I Didn't Ask You to Make Love To Me (Saike Natsuhara): Now wait, hear me out. Looking at the title and the cover I expected this ongoing manga to be a smut fest and nothing more but?? I need everyone to get into this super sweet and equally sexy BL! Here's my short introduction to it and why it kind of surprised me. Other INKR favorites, all highly recommended: Loved Circus (Asada Nemui), Our Not-So Lonely Planet Travel Guide (Mone Sorai), Scramblues (mame march), FANGS (Billy Balibally)

Love For Sale (Dal Hyeonji): I said I'll try to add titles that I haven't mentioned before but... an all time favorites list without Love for Sale is an incomplete one. While there are personal reasons as to why I'm enamored with it, objectively speaking, what makes LfS stand out among 80% of generic BL works is its nuanced look at the different shapes romantic love can take, its characters that are down-to-earth and feel tangible, has a very good balance of steamy and fluffy. It's brilliant, honestly. Perfect. But requires the reader to set aside the learned tropes/takes aside and give the story room to expand itself layer after layer. It's a rewarding read, if you can manage to look at it through a critical eye. Other favorites from Lezhin that I absolutely go bonkers every week: The Pizza Delivery Man and the Gold Palace (Upi), Define The Relationship (Flona/Chada), Wolf in the House (Park Ji-yeon - Complete), Love Me Doctor (ANA - Complete)

2. Where do you get your fic ideas?

A couple of different places. A lot of it usually comes from other media. Like I'll be reading a manga or watching a show and think, "Huh, that'd be a cool concept with X character" - particularly for my AU's.

Play Nice was kind of inspired by Hot Gimmick.

The Bully!Dabi fic I'm working on, an anon-provided prompt, but when I saw it, I thought of the Lezhin manwha Head Over Heels.

I end up taking those ideas in completely different directions - in the case of the Dabi fic, MC is enduring the bullying because of the history they have together, whereas in Head Over Heels, Ha Yan is obsessed with the attention she gets from her bully - but the baseline idea kind of comes from the same place.

Head Over Heals/Bully!Dabi Fic - A bully-victim relationship that is a bit more complicated than it seems.

Hot Gimmick/Play Nice - Rich boy blackmails MC for sex.

Other times, stuff pops into my head while I'm listening to music/walking the dog. Some of them are ideas that I can't use in my professional writing since it's problematic or NSFW content (i.e. Stuff that I can not have my name attached to lol). Prompts and just conversations about the characters yields some fun concepts. And then of course, there's good ol' life experiences (blegh). lol

5. How many wips do you have? What fandoms/pairings are they for?

Haha, quite a few. There are a few Persona fics and Osomatsu-san fics that I've basically put on the backburner while I focus on the projects I'm more passionate about at the moment. The WIP's that I'm currently, actively working on are:

Bully!Dabi x Reader - Currently planned to be three chapters. May expand once I'm done with Play Nice and if there's enough interest.

Overhaul x Reader - Long-form, 20+ Chapters Outlined. Takes place about a year before the canon. Reader is a quirkless daughter that's essentially sold to the Shie Hassaikai to pay off a debt. Chisaki realizes that he can use her to complete his research on the quirk erasing bullets.

Toga x Camgirl!Reader x Shigaraki / Toga x Shigaraki - Two Chapters planned. I'm pretty excited for this one actually. Essentially, Toga finds out there's a Camgirl that Shigaraki really likes and so she wants to kidnap her as a present for him, but ends up getting a crush on them herself.

Shigaraki x Stalker!Reader - One-Shot. Shigaraki realizes that he's been being followed, when he catches and manages to kidnap the person, he discovers that they were not following him for the reasons he expected.

20. Do you prefer writing AUs or canon fics?

You know, this is an interesting one. I don't know if I have a preference for one or the other, but I do seem to be writing a lot of Quirkless!AU these days.

For multi-chapter MHA reader/OC fics, I think I tend to have an easier time with AU's, if not for the fact that it can be tough to come up with an original quirk that feels believable and relevant enough to the story without being totally OP. Probably not a coincidence that my current Overhaul WIP features a quirkless MC. Lol.

One-Shots I have an easier time setting in canon. Same for multi-chapter fics in other fandoms like Osomatsu-san, Persona, & Yu-Gi-Oh!

I definitely want to write an in-canon multi-chapter Shigaraki fic at some point, just haven't been able to come up with an idea that I'm invested enough in and hasn't been done before.

"As we know all the Christmas we've ever celebrated we always had Reynold and Derrick put the star on top of the Christmas tree. And I decided that this year it would be your'e turn my little Penelope." Y/n said crouching down towards her daughters height.

"Are older brother Reynold and Derrick okay with this?" asked Penelope towards her mother, Penelope didn't want her two older brothers to have a different feeling towards her all because she decide to participate in something that they did. Y/n ruffled her daughter hair while giving Penelope a gentle smile. "Of course I talked to them and they decided that they were okay with it. So its only fair that its your turn to light the Christmas tree. But before you do that open your gifts under the tree." Y/n said leading her daughter near the three gift boxes.

Penelope grabbed ahold on a small one and upon opening the boxes she saw three letters all in front of them having different writing. 'Open this when your sad/happy/angry'

Upon opening the second box Penelope took ahold of two miniature dolls. The small resembling herself and the bigger one resembling her mother. Penelope hugged both dolls tightly, taking in the gift that her mother prepared for her. Y/n smiled at the sight of her daughter enjoying her second gift, this was making her even more excited to see her reaction towards her last one.

Upon opening the last gift box she noticed that inside held a small necklace, upon examining she noticed that it was a locket. She opened it to see that it was a picture of her and her step mom. Penelope was filled with so much love nothing could ever change her mind from this. She knew that her step mother loved her, even though she wasn't Penelope's. Everything that her step mother did for her since she stepped inside the estate was all out of the kindness in her heart and Penelope could not let the tears stop from flowing out of her eye.

Y/n wiped the tears from Penelope's eyes. "My dearest little Penelope, I know that whatever you are going through may feel like the toughest times for you. From one day wondering when you may eat another touch of food to then eating a lifetime supply of food." She said grabbing the necklace from Penelope to clip the necklace on her neck. "I know you may think that you are alone my dearest but if you are here then there is always a reason why you are here. I want you to always remember that whatever you do can never disappoint me, you will always be my pride a joy. Whenever you hear people say that you don't belong to the Eckhart family I want you to hold your head up high and prove them wrong. Never loose your temper it only feeds into their mindless comments." Y/n said hugging her daughter close to her body.

Penelope would never want to let go of this moment. This moment was special too Penelope. She felt the overflow of love that her step mom held for her. Penelope did what any other twelve year old child did, she hugged her mom tightly making sure that she told her mom that she held her and listened to her mothers words.

Penelope was satisfied and prayed for this moment to never let go, in the distant Penelope could hear the grandfather clock ringing but she didn't pay any mind to it, right now this current moment is what is more special than any other situation.

But Penelope would learn that time was cruel to those who barely had any.

Penelope woke up in a frantic state, she never realized that she would be having these sort of dreams. She expected them to die out once her step mother had passed away.

This caused Penelope to go in an emotional shock, letting out all of her emotions that she was currently carrying deep down inside, all of Penelope's bottled up emotions were released.

The mistreatment from the maids of the house, from Reynold, Derrick, and even from feeling that every little action will caused her to die. She knew that she needed to be careful of whatever she did, one misstep will cause her last breath to be taken in.

Penelope was convinced that all of this wasn't needed, that she could go back to being the careless Penelope that she used to be, throwing everyones opinions away and caring less on what they said. But she knew that would make her mother feel sad on her actions.

Right now Penelope needed some form of comfort, either that be from physical comfort or leaving this suffocating room, and Penelope knew she couldn't receive the physical comfort she needed. She needed to calm down and Penelope knew where to go to find that comfort she needed. She got up from bed and left her room, not forgetting on wrapping herself in a blanket.

Walking in the estate she saw how dead and quiet it felt, like the whole house was morning the loss of the duchess. She knew that Reynold and Derrick were stuffing themselves in their training and that her father was currently working himself away. Everyone knew that celebrating today would cause a wound to open for the whole family and that was something not to touch, seeing as how it hasn't been healed properly.

Arriving at her destination she saw what she needed. A portrait of her deceased step mom. Deep down Penelope needed this. She needed the slight comfort from her step mom. Penelope missed both of her deceased moms. She wished that they were both here to relish in their warmth and comfort.

Hearing footsteps Penelope turned behind her and noticed Reynold walking towards where she was. Both siblings made eye contact together but seeing as it didn't last long seeing as Reynold made sure to show his disgust. "What are you even doing here? Huh? Came to recoil in the so called sadness that you dirty scum claim to have?" Reynold said throwing insults towards Penelope like as if he was holding a normal conversation with her.

"Dirty scum slaves like you need to go back, whatever tactic you used to manipulate father and my mother aren't going to work on me. I whatever schemes you're planning to bring our name down to the dirt isn't needed, your presence is enough to drag our name through the dirt." continuing on throwing insults, completely disregarding the fact that his comments were completely hurting Penelope emotionally. But Penelope knew better than to show Reynold that his comments were affecting her.

"Geez I don't know what mother was thinking when she saw you, we all know deep down that you're nothing but a nuisance, look where it brought my mother." that was the last blow that Penelope was going to handle from Reynold, there was no need to continue hearing whatever comments he was going to say.

Penelope turned up and saw that her affection from Reynold was still at negative two. 'It doesn't matter what he thinks of me. Once I finish with who I need I'm leaving and never turning back' she said looking back at Reynold before turning in front of her staring at her step mothers portrait.

'Merry Christmas mom, hope that wherever you currently are that you are safe, all I ask is that you continue forgiving every single action of mines' Penelope said to herself while staring at her step mothers portrait before walking away completely ignoring whatever rude comments Reynold was directing towards her.
