I cant sleep and I’m craving a Gavi fanfic so I’m going to write one.

Carrying a part of you

Summary: Gavi and y/n weren’t friends, weren’t close at all, some even considered them enemies but a party with mutual friends lead the two to a future they would’ve never saw coming.

Pairing: Gavi x fem reader

Warnings: mentions of sex, pregnancy, anxiety, mentions of drinking. other than that pure fluff

There you were, standing in the house of a mutual friend between you and gavi. You had worn a tight fitting shirt black dress. Your friend Balde had invited you to celebrate with him and the other teammates and friends on their winning game that week. Of course you agreed. I mean you weren’t too ecstatic about seeing gavi but it would be crowded so you could avoid him surely right?

Wrong.

You walked over to the little bar they had set up and ordered a few drinks. You had a really stressful week this week from moving houses and finishing uni. You were downing you 4th or 5th drink and you were now drunk, not blacked out drunk but enough to slur your words and settle your mind from all the racing anxiety.

Someone had walked up beside you. You didn’t bother to turn to look because right now you were focused on you. That was until the familiar voice spoke to you.

“You know, I never would’ve known you knew how to make yourself look somewhat appealing to the eye.” Gavi said to you.

All you did was scoff. You turned to look at him dead in the eyes, piercing his.

“And yet you can’t even achieve that gavira.” You said in a harsh tone.

He just smirked at your response then offered his hand to dance. You hated him but your drunken mind wasn’t thinking straight enough to argue so you gave him your hand.

Pablo didn’t actually hate you, quite frankly he adored you, admired you but he was scared of his own feelings so in return he was mean to you to push those feelings away. Tonight though was going to be the night he slipped up, the night he showed you how much he actually liked you.

You guys began to dance. You were actually enjoying yourself, he held you rather gently, twirling you and dipping you. You just assumed he was as drunk as you.

The night went on and at some point you and Pablo got close, real close. You guys ran off to an empty bedroom. And the rest of the night was a blur of pleasure and sexual tension.

You woke up the next morning, somehow back in your house. You don’t remember how you got home but a part of you was glad you were home. The last thing you remember was gavi kissing you and whispering something that you couldn’t quite remember.

You went back to your normal life again. Although things between you and Pablo had changed slightly. He wasn’t mean anymore, he stilled trashed you but he was more gentle with you, like he was more caring.

A few weeks have past by now. Everything felt off but not in a bad way but also not in a good way. You were sick and emotional. At first you had thought it was your period, that was until you realized your period was weeks late.

“Oh no…” you said to yourself.

You tan and grabbed your keys before heading to your local pharmacy. You went from isle to isle looking for the pregnancy tests until you found them, you grabbed two boxes, you wanted to make sure all the answers would come out the same. You went and paid for them and on the way home your anxiety was at it’s all time highest. You can’t have a baby not right now, not with Pablo was all you were thinking.

You parked your car before going inside heading straight to the bathroom. You had grabbed a cup and peed in it before taking a syringe and putting pee on all four of the tests. You were not slightly shaking, tapping your foot and biting your nails. Within seconds, before the 15 minutes the box told you to wait, the answer was there, clear as day.

You were pregnant.

You broke down crying. Clenching your knees to your chest. How could you let yourself let this happen. You were angry and anxious and scared. You somehow got the courage to reach for your phone and dial and all too familiar number.

At first you thought he wasn’t going to pick up, the phone kept ringing and ringing. Just as you were about to hang up you heard his voice.

“Hey y/n what’s up? I’m at training right now.” He said in a slightly annoyed but worried tone.

“Can you just come to my place please, it’s an emergency.” You said crying softly into the phone.

When Pablo heard your whimpers he immediately said see you soon before hanging up. All his teammates were confused as he bolted out of the stadium before getting a cab to your place.

After a little bit you heard a knock on your door. You opened it and immediately fell into Pablo’s arms, crying.

He comforted you by rubbing your back and hair and saying everything’s gonna be ok even though he didn’t even know what was wrong.

“P..Pablo you’re gonna be a f..father.” You said between sobs.

Pablo froze. He was shocked, not mad but shocked.

“I’m sorry, I’m sorry if I’m about to ruin your career. But I can’t do this on my own, I’m sorry if I create a scandal because we’re not even together, I’m sorry you’re about to be the father to a kid of the girl you hate most. I’m sorr-“

You were cut off by his lips on yours. You were taken aback. But you kissed back. Something drawing you guys together.

He pulled away rubbing the tears off your cheeks.

“If there as anyone in the world I’d want to have a baby with it would be you y/n. I assumed you were too drunk the night I told you but I love you, I loved you from the moment I saw you but I was scared of those feelings so I was mean to push you away. I’m sorry for that but I am here now, to love you if you accept it, to be the best father I can be for our baby on the way.” He expressed, tears coming to his eyes too.

“Oh pablo, of course I’ll let you love me but I’m scared what if I’m an awful mother…” you told him still anxious.

“You’ll be and amazing mother I promise, and you’ll be an amazing wife to me one day.” He said chuckling trying to lighten up the mood.

You laughed.

“Hey hey hey now, you haven’t even asked me to be your girlfriend yet mr.” You said jokingly.

“Well then, ms y/n will you do me the honors of being the most amazing girlfriend ever.” He said wrapping his arms around your waist.

“Yes I will mr gavira.” You said with a smile before pressing a peck on his lips.

“Can I post this.” He asked and you just nodded.

Thinking of fancasting footballers as mythological characters 😭😭 Any mythology around the world is accepted. Any ideas?

@hattrickprincess and I thought long and hard about this, here’s what we came up with:

Messi as Zeus, Neymar could be Poseidon (but Icarus also fits), Ronaldo as Hades

Then Marcelo would be Persephone (hahasjksk)

Vini and Rodrygo as Apollo and Artemis (LOVE the thought of them being twins)

Kylian as Hermes (because of his speed and he acts like an annoying younger brother more often than not haha)

Griezmann as Aphrodite (man is BEAUTIFUL)

Gavi and pedri as Loki and Thor (gavi being the troublemaking little brother and pedri the exasperated older brother who loves him too much to let him get in trouble) AND Lewa could be Odin (their father lmaoo)

Halaand and Jude as Achilles and Patroclus (they fit so well??)

Jack Grealish as Dionysus (hilarious, chaotic, just enjoying life)
