Vinicius is your biggest fan. He attends your Grand Prix races, often wearing a custom-made team shirt with your name and number.

During your races, he's a bundle of nerves, and he can't sit still. He claps, cheers, and sometimes even shouts advice at the TV, as if you can hear him.

You began dating Vini behind Jude’s back, and no one knew about your relationship but you two.

And it was all fun and games until one time you went on a date somewhere private, or at least that’s what y’all thought.

But there was a certain fan who took a picture of you kissing and posted it.

The picture went obviously viral all over social media.

You didn’t know about the pic until in the morning when you woke up and Jude was sitting on the kitchen counter scrolling through Instagram.

“Is there something you would like to tell me?” Jude asked, looking up from his phone.

“No, why?” you said, confused.

He could see the confusion on your face.

“Well, explain this then,” he showed you the picture of you and Vini on Twitter.

Your face went pale, and your heart was racing; you didn’t even know what you would say to him.

“Hmm?” he hummed.

“Well- we are dating,” you said while stuttering.

“I promise I was going to tell you; I was just not ready,” you said nervously.

“But when did you guys start dating?” Jude said while looking at you.

“Three months ago,” you said back.

“THREE MONTHS AGO, OH MY DAYS,” he replied, shocked.

“Yeah,” that’s all you could say.

“I’m sorry I didn’t mean to react like this, but I just wish you would’ve told me,” Jude said.

“I’m very happy for you; I just don’t want you to get your heart broken by him, you know how he is,” he added.

You smiled at him and hugged him, telling him you love him.

can we stop using what Vini Jr is going through as a way to say “get him to the premier league!”? you’ve gotta be fucking kidding. the racism in Spain is similar to the racism in England, in Germany, in Italy, across Europe. The racism POC athletes experience is a global issue, and has been for a long, long time. no one is free of it.

We can criticize what La Liga is doing without trying to make it some sort of competition between leagues, it’s childish and demeaning to the bigger issue at hand. It’s not about “my favorite league is better than yours” or “come to my club, it won’t happen here.” fucking grow up.
