legally blonde is a musical that has like such high highs and such low lows. the music is fun and catchy and elle and emmett’s relationship is so much more charming than the movie but the shitty late 2000s stereotype humor is. so bad

#also listening to the soundtrack and they cut some great lines which sucks #like in ‘legally blonde’ in the actual show when elle tells emmett she was hit on #his first response is ‘we’ll fix this. we’ll fight it’ just an immediate #‘I believe you and we’ll fight this so him being a creep doesn’t ruin your career because you earned this spot’#but in the soundtrack that’s skipped? and just goes into the ‘maybe you would have stayed if I said I loved you’#which does him a disservice

woah I was being so wakeful but I just now properly laid my head on a pillow and I think I could be asleep in a second if I wanted. It’s still light outside.
