how come my men’s levi’s are size 30 but in women’s i have to wear a 26… four digits down is crazy. it should be the same since both of those numbers are presumably equal to my waist measurement.
and my vintage women’s levi’s are size 8. but a size converter on the levi’s website says a 26 is equal to a 2. like. what’s going on here. just let me be an 8. stop this madness.
how can one brand have such wide fluctuation. i’m used to being slightly different sizes between brands but this is BEYOND.

in bridgerton news: cressida’s mother’s name is now confirmed to be araminta, the same name as sophie’s stepmother in book 3. this most likely implies that the writers have combined these two characters and that cressida will now act as one of sophie’s two stepsisters.
i love this change! there’s already so many characters and plots and moving parts in this show, condensing them seems smart. and this helps with the world building of portraying sophie’s stepmother and sisters as antagonists in her life as these characters have been in that position since season 1. it will make sympathizing with sophie’s position a much a faster process. and personally i’m just excited to see more of cressida. bitchy characters are a weakness for me i can’t help it. cressida is evil and greedy and i like that about her!
but will cressida be the mean stepsister?? or will they give her a character arc and end up having her be the one who gets along with sophie? maybe cressida’s sister and mother are even worse than she is, and don’t hold back on bullying cressida as well. maybe cressida is bitchy to the outside world but at home sophie is a solace to her and her one true friend. i think there could really be a lot of richness here if the writers are down to shake up the original dynamics!
