// I’m making this post, as a result of seeing way too much hate and misinfo regarding every character. Nobody stops anyone from voicing their opinion but the need to degrade a character, while providing BAD reasons or stating incorrect/out-of-context facts about them only for the sake of internet validation, is such a loser move.

We’re all in this fandom to have fun and even if you have something negative to say about a character you don’t like, keep it to yourself or in private with your friends.

Ayato:

“I don’t like Ayato, he’s overrated”, omg you’re just sooo different! Definitely not like other girls/guys!

Everyone is allowed to dislike whatever they want but if Ayato is your least/one of your least favorite DL characters, then your opinion ISN’T valid. This is a franchise full of abusive characters and he’s literally the most heroic love interest. Why would you hate the hero…?

“He’s dumb and annoying”, says the person who spends their time insulting FICTIONAL characters. 1) Japanese fans like dumb characters, since they come off as endearing; 2) Ayato outdid everyone throughout the routes.

He did more good than all of his brothers and saying that X, Y or Z deserves the main role more, is fake fan behavior because at this point you’re just setting up your favs.

Kanato:

No, you’re not cool for calling him ugly. It’s okay if you’re not into that type of characters but his design is not bad at all.

“He had no development”, he does in CL. It’s not major but it can still be visible.

The whole Teddy thing might be annoying to some of you, but his fans get why he acts that way. Let’s not forget that he is a victim of neglect.

Yes, he was sexually exploited too. Don’t forget this x2.

Laito:

“I hate Laito so much, he was so cruel in HDB 😢”; stop living in the past and move on already.

His development shouldn’t be overlooked only because your opinion about him was formed on something that came out more than 10 years ago.

He’s still the most fascinating DL character and I get that he might make some of you feel uncomfortable but don’t project your triggers on a character that’s merely made after a trope.

Shu:

No, it’s not Shu’s fault for the way Reiji acted. Envy is never a good reason to hurt someone.

“Shu roasts the heroine the most!”, I get that it’s rude but his insults are actually funny?? A bunch of people will like him for being brutally honest or a jerk because it’s literally a game for players with masochistic fantasies. They WANT to be roasted by good-looking men. That’s the point.

“Shu is lazy and stupid, he’s the only one who failed his school year”, genuine question: If you were an immortal creature that doesn’t need food or sleep to survive, would you still care about grades? Besides, he’s really smart.

“Shu doesn’t care about Yuma, he just feels guilty”, in LE he sacrificed himself for him and reincarnated merely because he wished to meet Yuma again and get on well with him in another life—

Reiji:

“He hurt Shu and Yuma”, well yeah but he was shown plenty of times regretting it and trying to fix things. Stop reminding this to Reiji stans because that conflict is already closed.

“He is so mean in other routes”, obviously?? If you don’t teach him how to love, he won’t suddenly act nice towards anyone.

Without him Yui would fail her tests and the Sakamaki household would be in chaos.

Subaru:

“W-What do you mean baby Tsundere is not soft innocent virgin boy? 🥺”; he has never been like that, that’s how YOU perceived him. Stop acting so shocked every time Subaru does something bad because he’s still a vampire after all??

Also, why are so many people reducing his character to Kou and/or Yui—? He’s much more than that and has his own interests, struggles, likes, dislikes, and so on.

“He’s irrelevant”; Diabolik Lovers has 13 love interests, they can’t make everyone extremely important to the general plot. Just enjoy a character as it is, it’s not that hard.

Ruki:

The cat jokes were funny when the Meow Meow Vampire art came out but MOVE ON. I hate that scene and Ruki was in the wrong but come on now, that’s not even the worst thing he has done and MB happened in 2013.

I understand not liking Ruki as a person, because he’s mostly not a good one, but this doesn’t mean he’s not a good character.

“Ruki deserved what happened to him in the past because he was cruel towards everyone”; while I agree that Karma hit him, I wouldn’t say any child really deserves to go through that. He was just a spoiled brat, who most likely wasn’t taught by his parents about modesty or kindness.

Kou:

“He was so cruel in MB 😣”, and HE HAD DEVELOPMENT! He’s not the same anymore, nobody is.

“He overreacts”, sometimes he’s not in the wrong and has all rights to be angry.

Kou isn’t afraid of going against Ruki, even if he’s the brother he admires the most, as long as he knows that what Ruki is doing isn’t good.

Yuma:

“He beat Yui up in the MB bad ending!😡😡”, it’s a bad ending for a reason, lol.

Pretty reminder that Yuma always tries to help others with Kou and Azusa, and was even willing to save the ghouls in LE.

“Yuma doesn’t care about Shu”, did we play the same game or…?

Azusa:

“Azusa is so horrible, he threw Teddy in the fire!”; and he only did it to save Yui, it was not intentional.

While not all his actions are good, keep in mind that he never means any harm and is overall such a sweet guy.

“He is too clingy”; I know that might not be everyone’s cup of tea but is it really worth hating a character just for wanting affection?

The Tsukinamis and Kino:

“They were too easy to defeat in DF!”; Dark Fate wasn’t entirely about them to begin with. Most routes focused on the boys’ internal struggles with their trauma and how to move past it.

“Kino is sometimes mean for the sake of being mean”; it’s almost as if he’s the ✨villain✨

It’s dumb questioning the morals of characters supposed to have an antagonistic role.

“Kino hurt Ayato in LE”; out of all characters who have wronged Ayato, at least Kino felt bad and wanted to apologize.

Yui:

“She’s dumb and ugly”; Japanese fans literally love her for being an idiot because it wouldn’t be fun to see the heroine being the best at everything or not making mistakes at all. Plus, her design is definitely not ugly.

Stop creating your own version of Yui in your head and ending up disappointed when she doesn’t act the way you expect her to. No, Yui is not OOC for liking being bitten, having a low learning ability or saying things she shouldn’t in the wrong moments. Nobody is perfect and everyone has their own kinks and flaws.

“She’s too innocent”; she’s not?? If you really want to see her thirsty, go play Ayato’s routes, especially the heaven scenarios.

“She’s weak”, she’s the opposite. Yui is one of the most mentally strong DL characters.

I can’t understand people who hate on heroines when they’re present in all routes and are the most positive characters.

gather round kids, it's Nat's Yuma Ship Countdown

5: yuma/yui - a very healing pairing for yuma ^^ yuma has a lot of relationships with other diaboys where he ends up being a catalyst for their change, right? he has a lot of people leaning on him for support. so yumayui feels really good because YUMA gets to be helped and supported; YUMA gets to heal. so it's rly important to me!!

4: subaru/yuma - this is a ship that I came to love through silly drama cds. in a lot of cds they're like friendly rivals, and I think it's super cute bc subaru doesnt have a ton of friends. I headcanon that they end up in detention together a lot, and subaru gets a lot less stressed & angry about it when yuma's around. I think subaru can be himself around him <3

3: reiji/yuma - ever since reiji stopped being actively antagonistic toward yuma, I really fell in love with this ship. there was something so delicious about reiji having really complex negative feelings about the past while yuma in the present is just, like, being really nice to him. guy living with extreme guilt x guy who forgave him a long time ago and just wants to chill. when reiji got stabbed while protecting yuma in shu's LE route I LOST MY MIIIIIND

2: ayato/yuma - since I'm very weak to best friends -> lovers, I really like this ship a lot since they have a lot of scenes in cds and stuff where they're like, playing around together. especially because ayato's so desperate for companionship, it's a really comforting ship for me! I headcanon that yuma is ayato's first male crush!! (and they played the pocky game together!! I wont let anyone forget!!!) for some reason it goes hand-in-hand with subayuma a lot for me; I like the idea of ayato and subaru competing for yuma's attention lol

1: shu/yuma - irreplacable otp. my favorite ship not just in dialovers but in the whole wide world. well-balanced between very sweet scenes where u realize how much they genuinely care about each other vs HEARTBREAKING ANGST. it's so delightfully painful to me that yuma is one of the most important people in the entire world to shu, but he doesn't KNOW that because shu is too afraid he'll get hurt again to tell him. I love that shu's all pessimistic like "we're destined to never be happy together </3" and in LE, yuma's like "fuck that!! I'll make you happy in this life or the next!!!" IT DRIVES ME INSANE and I could probably talk about them for 3 straight hours uninterrupted

En la nueva mercancía ya pudimos confirmar que Shu está bastante músculoso a pesar de no hacer nada más que dormir. ¿Te imaginas lo músculoso que debe estar Subaru? Si mal no recuerdo él confesó en una entrevista que le gusta mantenerse en forma y hacer ejercicio ❤️❤️❤️. Me imagino a Yui sangrando por la nariz cada que lo ve como dios lo trajo al mundo 🤣.

Al parecer tenemos en común el querer que nuestras OC sufran, siendo sincera cada ves que leía las traducciones de los CD de Subaru y los otros chicos siendo cruel con Yui me imaginaba a mi OC siendo tratada de la misma forma por ejemplo siendo golpeada con el latigo y envenenada por reiji, el acoso de laito y otras cosas más.

Me encanta como escribes muestras los sádicos que eso estos chicos

Qué puedo decir? Si me dan un contexto en donde mi preciosa y adorada Yui sufre siendo el rollito se canela qué es, ¿entonces qué le queda al resto de mortales? No soy una persona a la que le guste el dolor, pero si voy a hacer una OC para este universo, entonces liberen los métodos de tortura.

This got kind of long so I’ve put my answers below the cut.

9. Do you hate anyone in DL?

Hate is a very strong word, but if you saw my recent post on Shuu’s CL route then you’ll know that I am not the biggest Karlheinz fan. Richter and Cordelia are also fairly awful but I can’t help but feel some sort of pity for Richter as it seems he had a pretty miserable life and while some of the things Cordelia did are just horrible, my negative feelings towards her have somewhat lessened since we got a bit more of a glimpse at her backstory in DF. Menae must have died before Cordelia could really remember her, and we have to remember that she was heavily manipulated by Karl. Like yes, Cordelia is dreadful, but I still think Karl is the big bad of the series. He does so so many awful things and no matter which game you look at, I can’t help but feel that his reasoning is always pretty bleh (even if that probably is just due to not great writing).

Also after that Subaru LE ending Seiji Komori can eat dirt.

12. What do you think of the fandom?

Hmm... While I know some people hold negative views of the DL fandom at large, I don’t think any fandom is entirely unproblematic. My personal experience has generally been pretty good but I will admit I have seen some fairly terrible behavior in the 3 and a half years I’ve been seriously into DL. Then again I also haven’t been this deep in any other fandom and, sadly, I think that is just the nature of the internet.

Still, there are some amazing and very talented people in this fandom, and I feel extraordinarily lucky to have been able to interact with them, so I prefer to focus on that over anything else.

14. Sub or dub?

Sub all the way. When I first started watching anime, I initially just watched dubs, but after I started learning Japanese, I switched to subs to try and pick up some more vocab and now I can’t go back. Also I really like a lot of the Japanese voice actors in DL ^^

25. What do you think of DL haters?

I generally hold the attitude of “live and let live”. If someone doesn’t like DL because of the triggering content (and the way it deals with it) or the sometimes questionable plot then fair enough, it’s not like I think the series is without its problems. The only time I will have any issue at all is if they actively attack fans of the show. If someone is just minding their own business and not hurting anyone then under no circumstances is it okay to blindly attack them over a work of fiction. So yeah, you do you as long as you’re not being a twit about it.

28. Would you ever show your parents DL why/why not?

For anyone who remembers some of the random stuff I post, you’ll know that my mother is indeed aware of Shin’s existence (and Carla’s) which perhaps would have been difficult to avoid given that he’s plastered all over my bedroom wall and I talk about him A LOT (I am just as bad irl folks), but I’ve never gone into the details of the series with her as I feel like she’d be fairly disturbed at some of the content (and it’s for this reason that I would never show her the anime).

You will understand then, why I was slightly horrified when she told me she’d read the wiki because she wanted to know more about the characters I loved so much (like bless her, but also O.o). Apparently Carla is “a baddie” but she thinks Shin is okay.

My parents are also aware of the existence of this blog but, fortunately for me, have no interest in reading it.

30. What do you think of Yui?

I like Yui (I mean what is there to dislike?), she’s a lovely character and has a really good impact on the boys. I’m not as invested in her as perhaps some of the fandom but that’s because I am unapologetically here for the dumpster fire that is the boys.

I prefer writing reader inserts over Yui x diaboy fanfics, simply because it’s fun to see the boys in a slightly different relationship dynamic to that we get in the games (like if you look at my most recent Shin drabble, Yui would never tease Shin like that but I would so reader insert it is).

31. What is your favourite Dialover song and why?

What do you mean I have to pick just one??? Gahhh I love love love Kessen no Dies irae, because it features the Tsukinami bros and it’s just my sort of music but I think my favorite might actually be I.M.I.T.A.T.I.O.N.G.A.M.E. I’m not the biggest Kino fan but Maeno’s singing voice is phenomenal and it also brings back happy memories of when I finished Shin’s LE route for the first time.

34. Tell us your top three routes! Why are they your favourites?

Hooo boy, this is a tricky one because we all know my bias at this point ^^;; I’ve limited myself to one Shin route because otherwise this list would just be me waxing on about Shin and goodness knows I do that enough already.

1) Shin’s Lost Eden Route

While I like his DF route, I love that Shin’s LE route pays a bit more attention to his feelings towards Yui than his complicated relationship with Carla. I love that it really stretches him as a character and we get to see him relying on Yui, like I don’t know who came up with that plot but BLESS. I think the pacing is very good and the bad endings are just so tragic (and I love really angsty bad endings). And some of the scenario chapters from this route just make me melt.

I also love this route for personal reasons. I’d only just fallen into Shinhell when LE was released and I remember seeing the CGs for his route but there was no information on the plot in the English speaking side of the fandom and it was driving me nuts because I just wanted to know that he was okay. It was at this same time that I had a bit of spare money so I... bought a PSVita and a copy of Lost Eden so I could find out what happened (I was planning on getting a Vita anyway just maybe not THAT soon). I’d only been learning Japanese for 6 months (I am nothing if not horribly ambitious) but I didn’t let that stop me and played through the route. And I loved it (even if I struggled a little with the language) and I was so happy to find out what happened to him. So yeah, I just have warm memories of it.

2) Carla’s Dark Fate Route

While I like Carla’s LE route, I think the pacing and plot of his DF is just a bit better. I love that it gives us the best glimpse at the backstory of the founders (I will take any and all Krone and Giesbach tidbits I can) and I think the progression of Carla and Yui’s relationship is really well handled (even if he is dreadful towards her at times). Also I like Carla, I think of all of the diaboys, he’s one of the ones I’m most similar to so I find it easy to empathize with him.

3) Subaru’s Dark Fate Route

It’s been a while since I played this route but I remember having a really good time when I did. The Vampire Ending is incredibly sweet, as are some of the scenario chapters and I thought the plot was fairly well structured. Plus Carla and Shin are in it so bonus points there.

37. If you could change one thing in your favourite Diaboy what would it be?

I never want to answer questions like this because I love Shin as he is, I don’t want to change him.

I mean I would like for him to see more value in who he is than just his bloodline and get it into his skull that he is not inferior to Carla but only as gradual changes based on environment (or just idk talking to Carla but goodness only knows that won’t happen unless Carla’s on his deathbed again).

40. Your thoughts on Karlheinz?

See above. But yeah, not a fan, would not be sad if he became the victim of a bizarre fishing accident and never again appeared in the DL franchise but I think that’s a bit too much to hope for. Sorry Karl fans but I can’t get over the stuff he’s done (and also I have had enough of “and it was Karl’s fault all along” coming up in the games).

41. Would you buy the games if they were released in English?

I’m a little torn on this one because I love supporting Rejet and otome game localisations but I own all of the games aside from VC already so there wouldn’t really be any point. I think if I had a LOT of money to spare then I would, but as my finances stand at the moment then it’s a no.

42. If you got to design the 14th Diaboy what would he be like?

Oh this is a difficult one, ideally I’d like to see someone who was a member of one of the other demon races but I don’t think you can really have a diaboy without the blood-sucking, so I guess I’d make them half vampire half adler (as I think they’re the race we know the least about). As for personality... It’s tricky because I feel like the diaboys already cover a pretty wide spectrum. I’d probably make him a cocky jerk because I love cocky jerks and I’d make him fairly witty too but more logic than feelings orientated. I’d have him kidnap Yui because he wants to use her as a pawn against the diaboys in some nefarious plot (that I’m not going to think too much about because this post is not meant to be an OC planning session) and not because he has any interest in her or plans for her himself. I guess he’d sort of be a cross between Kino and Carla?

I’d give him a vendetta against Karlheinz too because I can :D

Honestly? No. It’s not that I wouldn’t be interested to see the story of Richter with someone who is not Cordelia (even if he is not my favorite dude from the franchise) but more that I can’t see Rejet dropping Yui as a heroine and RichterxYui? No thank you. After all the stuff he’s done in the games and his obsession with Cordelia? I just don’t feel comfortable with that pairing, sorry.

Les Relations avec les Diaboys

Toutes les relations avec les Diaboys sont malsaines et toxiques, mais lesquelles de ces relations sont-elles le plus proche d'une relation saine? Probablement les relations les plus saines sont avec Shu, Subaru, Ruki et Yuma.

⚠: Spoilers dans cette analyse! + Il ne s’agit que d’un résumé des relations.

ShuYui (Shu x Yui)

Shu et Yui sont très à l'aise l’un avec l’autre, même quand rien ne se passe, ils se sentent bien ensemble. Ils ne sont pas mal à l'aise et quand ils sont ensemble, ils ne parlent pas trop de leurs sentiments, mais ils n'en ont pas besoin.

SubaYui (Subaru x Yui)

Subaru et Yui est une relation plus difficile, parce que Subaru s’énerve lorsque Yui tente de se rapprocher de lui, contrairement à Shu qui se renferme émotionnellement et laisse Yui dans le noir. Subaru sera tendu et ainsi de suite parce qu’il ne comprend pas les intentions de Yui ou ne la fait pas confiance, s’énervant souvent contre elle pour la simple raison qu’il ne sait pas comment réagir, il se met alors en colère et ça s’aggrave. Mais une fois que le lien est là, on dirait qu’il semble apprendre et se détend autour d'elle. Quand ils sont en couple, il y a une intimité et une douceur qui se créent dont Subaru est capable, même s’il trouve très difficile de dire honnêtement ses émotions après avoir passé toute sa vie à se cacher et à ne faire confiance à personne.

RukiYui (Ruki x Yui)

C’est probablement la relation ayant le départ le plus difficile puisque Ruki est sadique depuis son enfance et a des problèmes de confiance envers les femmes. Mais, si nous traitons ça comme après le développement, alors cette relation semble être un autre couple qui est tout à fait à l'aise l'un avec l'autre. Ruki a besoin de quelqu'un qui l’écoute lorsqu’il est stressé alors qu'il ne le souhaite pas, mais Yui remplit ce rôle. Dans Dark Fate, il l’amène dans sa ville natale et même dans l'orphelinat qu'il détestait, montrant à quel point il la fait confiance. On pourrait dire qu’elle ramène son côté « humain » perdu (voir Dark Fate: Ecstasy 07).

YumaYui (Yuma x Yui)

YumaYui est aussi une relation qui commence de façon rude, mais une fois que c’est passé, Yui n’a clairement pas peur de répliquer quand il va trop loin. Une fois que cela est réglé, Yuma est vraiment très terre-à-terre et lui parle de ses rêves. Probablement aucun autre vampire ne lui a réellement demandé ce qu’elle voulait faire, et elle lui a dit qu’elle voulait être une sœur. Au lieu de la rabaisser, initialement, Yuma encourage cette idée (bien que plus tard, il y a une série de drames) et Yui révèle même qu’elle ne serait pas contre à l’idée d’être une mariée. Plus tard, après tout ce qui se passe dans More, Blood, Yuma lui parle ouvertement de Boss (voir More, Blood Yuma Route Prologues et Épilogues) et la conversation est juste très naturelle. Yui et lui s'entendent bien, bien qu'ils soient un couple sous-estimé. Yui semble vraiment aimer être dans le jardin et aider Yuma aussi.

Información básica del blog.

Este blog en general es para postear contenido fan creado por mí, como también dar una que otra opinión sobre ciertas cosas de los fandoms en los que estoy. También la decisión fue tomada porque mi blog personal es puro reblog y quería un espacio aparte para tener mejor organizado mi propio contenido.

Hasta ahora la mayoría de mis fanfics y fanarts son de Diabolik Lovers, pero también en menor medida tengo de otros fandoms :)

Me gusta escribir un poco de todo y eso incluye Genderbend, Crossover, OC/Canon, etc.

Cada que publique alguna opinión sobre “x” fandom o sobre “x” situación en cierto fandom, etiquetaré como #raven siendo amarga., para que si no les interesa pues, filtren la etiqueta o sencillamente ignoren.

Yui: (Ah! Los cuervos se están reuniendo en el techo de la mansión.)

Subaru: BASTARDO, qué es lo que intentas hacer!

Yui: *Sonrojo* Wa? Subaru: Ha? Por qué tú estas... Ch, no has visto quien salió de mi habitación? Yui: No he visto a nadie pero... Subaru: Entonces, A DONDE ME DICES QUE HUYÓ! (NOS CALMAMOS QUERIDO)

*Subaru se aleja y pantalla vibra*

Yui: EHH? Incluso aunque me digas eso de repente... Subaru: ...Cuando llegué, alguien estaba en mi habitación. Y encima miró dentro de mi ataúd. Subaru: Quien fue. Definitivamente no lo perdonaré! Yui: (Ciertamente eso es algo por lo que enojarse.) Subaru: Oí, realmente no viste a nadie huyendo de aquí, no es así? Yui: No he visto a nadie pero la verdad es que...

*Desvanece*

Yui: (No puedo entender la situación actual así que terminé diciendole pero... él me creerá?) Subaru: No hay manera que un intruso entre aquí. ...Por qué estas tan asustada? Yui: Pero... Subaru: Ch... pero, cuando me di vuelta esa presencia... era muy extraño. Yui: Eh? Subaru: No puedo ponerlo bien en palabras. Pero, más que no poder atraparlo, o más que estremecerme (NO ENTENDÍ!)

*EL HENTAI- digo Raito llega y música se detiene*

Raito: Huum~? Parece que ustedes dos están hablando sobre algo divertido~ Metanmen a mí también en su conversación~

Desde que KarlHeinz-san desapareció, el Makai quedó sin un rey, y entró en un lío de confunciones. El increible poder que llevaba mantiene el ecrilibrio del los Demonios para que puedan estar de pie.

Y esos demonios son: Los vampiros, los ghouls, los wolfs, los aguilas, los víboras, los cuatro clanes. Y también, cualquiera que lleve la sangre de ''Los Primera Sangre''.

Ellos están en alerta, sobre el hecho que ese vampiro quiere robar el poder del rey, sé ve como en el Makai estan pasando cosas por todos los sitios.

Yui: (En el momento que esa persona se reportó desde sus Familiares fue una increible sorpresa.) Yui: (Me da la impresión que un montón de cosas terribles ocurrirán a partir de ahora pero... seguramente estaremos bien.) I hope this doesn’t bother you, Admin-chan, but I just find it odd how Ayato and Ruki are your top boys taking account they’re rivals and well…Ruki wronged Ayato in many ways and I don’t wanna be that person but he’s one of the least problematic Diaboys so I don’t get why Ruki would treat him the worst out of them all. I mean, shouldn’t all Sakamaki’s be a threat to him, why only be so mean towards Ayato? That’s what I can’t understand.

Ayato & Ruki Analysis, let’s go!

I love Ruki; he's such an intriguing character, but his attitude towards Ayato irritates me at times, especially because he sees Ayato as some sort of privileged brat who gets everything served on a silver platter, despite the fact that we know that’s exactly the opposite taking account that this guy had been mentally, emotionally and physically abused for decades.

The Mukamis are my favorite family, but I dislike how they constantly dismiss the Sakamaki brothers' trauma and adopt the "I've got it worse than you!" mentality.

Going back to Ruki, yes, what happened to him was indeed heartbreaking but the thing is, they wanted to show how Karma hit him. We know young!Ruki was a cruel child, he punished his servants for every little mistake and considered himself superior because of his position. Now, let’s talk about young!Ayato. He was literally Ruki's polar opposite; a kind child who didn't care about his Prince status and treated everyone equally, such as the butler, who was shown caring a lot for Ayato in LE and YB.

I usually like rivalry when it’s good portrayed; I really enjoyed the Shu x Yuma and Kou x Subaru ones, I think they were really well written. However, in Ayato’s and Ruki’s case… that’s a whole other story.

Ayato despises Ruki primarily because of romantic jealousy. Ayato may appear narcissistic and confident, but many people fail to realize how insecure and low his self-esteem is. Ayato is shown in MB to believe that no one will ever love him back. He is aware that if he falls in love with someone, that person won’t reciprocate his feelings, and thus he will get hurt. That's why Ayato kept rejecting Yui there and eventually let her go with Ruki. He clearly knows Ruki is better than him in every way, he just won't vocally admit it; he knows Ruki can easily win Yui's heart, and that's why he's a threat in his eyes.

Ruki's hatred for Ayato stems mainly from power jealousy. Ruki's main goal is to become Adam, but he can't because he isn't a pure-blood vampire, so he projects his insecurities onto Ayato, who, as the main guy, is considered the true Adam. Throughout the routes, Ruki appears to be impressed by Ayato as well. He once questioned whether Ayato truly is special, but quickly dismissed that thought. Another reason is that, as mentioned in his MB brute end, Ruki believes Karlheinz loves Ayato and his brothers. He is very insecure too; he knows Ayato is stronger and has a better chance of having Eve.

I’m honestly sick of how many times Ruki has called Ayato “unworthy” of being Adam but little does he know that’s not something he chose. I suppose people really overlook the fact that Ayato doesn’t want the powers, he couldn’t care less about Karl’s plan, he just wants Yui’s love. He was literally cursed to become Adam, that’s definitely no blessing. Have you seen his awakening symptoms in MB? The guy couldn’t even control his blood thirst anymore; he was literally ill.

And, while we're at it, what exactly did Ruki do to be "worthy" of the Adam title? His orphanage plan already failed because Kou, Yuma, and Azusa were all shot, and if Karlheinz hadn't shown up, he would have most likely been gone. He basically took care of them in Eden and "trained" them, which essentially means telling them the details of his plan, while his biological children were going through nightmares.

Anyway, I'm relieved Ruki is no longer obsessed with the Adam and Eve plan. In CL, he seems less addicted to it and I'm glad CL demonstrated that Ayato would indeed help Ruki if something happened to him; he became concerned when he suddenly fainted and was eager to save him and others as soon as possible.

I doubt they'll ever become friends because their personalities clash, but it's nice to see they don't hold grudges against each other anymore.

De todos los cd dramas y tokutens en general que has escuchado o leído, cuál es tu favorito? (No necesariamente tiene que ser de DL)

Uff, amaría colocar el de Ookami-kun'chi donde cada hermano cuenta su versión de la caperucita roja (Mis favoritas son las versiones de Ash y Koiki, aunque también amo la de Nike x"D), pero creo que me decanto por de Vampire Juice, es uno de los culpables de que me metiera en el fandom y que quiera tanto a Subaru, a parte de que escuchar a Laito santo me mata 🤣🤣🤣

Se supone que no le gusta que digan cosas indecentes y sigue llamando "bitch-chan a Yui" es un desmadre ambulante.

Pero CD dramas en general, todo Ookami-kun'chi, amo a mis bebés.

Diabolik lovers Lunatic parade Shin and Subaru (CD drama) ~traducción~ (resumen)

Había una parte que me gustó mucho de este cd xDD Traduciré sólo esa parte no el cd completo porque tendría que escucharlo unas 5 veces D: Soy mala con los audios. Pueden escucharlo aquí x

- Pues Shin y Subaru la acompañan a comprar algo que ella necesita. Shin llama a sus familiares(lobos) para que los acompañen, pero por culpa de eso todas las personas se alejaban, así que Yui le pide que los saque. Entonces Shin llama a sus lobos-cachirritos (awww) cosa que el no quería porque todas las mujeres se vuelven locas cuando los ven. Pues fue lo mismo para Subaru cuando los vió xD. Bueno, buscando lo que ella necesitaba un lobo llega y le habla a Shin diciendole algo.

Shin: ‘’Bueno, me iré por un momento.’’ Subaru: ‘’E-espera. Esto... yo también iré’’ Shin: ‘’Heeeh. Bueno, sígueme si quieres.’’

Al parece a Subaru le parecen muy tiernos esos cachorritos xD

Shin: ‘’Perdón por hacerte esperar. Ten, come esto.’’

Shin le da nueces al cachorrito y le dicen que son deliciosas.

Subaru: ‘’Podría ser que te había avisado que tenía hambre?’’ Shin: ‘’Así es.’’ Shin: ‘’Es porque aún son niños, así que son algo blandos. Son unos niños que dan algunos problemas~. Shin: *Rie* Tú*le habla a Yui*... estas haciendo una cara de un idiota mirandolo.’’ Shin: ‘’Oye, qué tal si lo acaricias?’’

Shin le dice que ella puede acariciarlo y será como una recompensa para el cachorro.

*Yui lo acaricia*

Shin: *Rie* Estas haciendo esa cara tan feliz.’’ Shin: ‘’Esta bien si lo acaricias en la espalda pero, se pone aún más feliz cuando acaricias su pansa.’’ Subaru: *Mirando muy atentamente* O-oh... *Sonidos de cachorrito*

Subaru: ‘’Bien, entonces ven más cerca’’
