He's a lot more playful when it comes to cuddling. Sure when time calls for it, he will just hold you and play with your hair. But most of the time, your cuddle sessions are just full of giggling and playful batter. Tickling each other, pinning games (that he most of the time wins but he lets you win sometimes), hiding his face in the crook of your neck leaving kisses. Overall he's just a playful guy.

pre-kiss story: you and abi were outside, enjoying the scenery and taking in the scent of nature. you two had gotten into a relationship with each other about three weeks ago, but haven’t had your first kiss yet. you just assumed abi wasn’t ready, so you just didn’t bring it up at all. you were up, moving around and ranting about your day while abi was sitting on a log, drawing in her sketchbook and listening attentively. she’d been drawing multiple sketches of you, smiling at each one of them. you noticed her smiling at her sketches, and you walked over to her and sat beside her, asking what she was smiling about. she showed you and described how perfect of a muse you were. her eyes kept darting from your eyes to your lips, as if she were debating whether or not to go for it, and that’s when it happened.

she hesitantly inched closer to your face

she’s very nervous + excited

she’s nervous because she doesn’t think she’s kissing well enough

but she’s excited because it’s her very first kiss with you!!

pre-kiss story: one of the campers in nick’s group had asked him if he was dating you. his eyes immediately widened and asked the kid who they had heard it from. the camper shrugged in response and repeated the question. nick sighed and said yes, and then his whole group started chiming in. they didn’t believe him, since they’d never seen you two hug or kiss each other. it was true you hadn’t kissed before, since you guys had just gotten together yesterday. the kids demanded proof, practically pushing him over to you. he pleaded and begged for mercy, but to no avail. they’d successfully shoved him to you and weren’t leaving until they saw the kiss. nick tapped on your shoulder and you turned to him. upon seeing his campers behind him, you asked what the occasion was. he whispered what was going on in your ear and you smiled. and that’s when it happened.

okay let me start by saying he got suuuper shy when telling you what the kids wanted

when he saw your soft smile he could’ve sworn his heart stopped

the kiss lasted a little longer than a peck

pre-kiss story: you and emma had been dating a little before applying to be camp counselors at hackett’s quarry. you both expressed how you weren’t ready for your first kiss yet, and patiently waited until the right moment. during the summer, you were ready to kiss emma, but didn’t want to tell her in case she still wasn’t ready. unsurprisingly, nobody noticed you two were dating. you guys weren’t as touchy with each other like most couples would be, but it’s just because all the affection is in private. at the end of summer, when everyone was playing truth or dare, neither of you participated in any kissing dares out of respect for the other. after the game, you two decided to go swimming near the dock. you guys played in the water, splashing each other occasionally. but then you had a deep conversation and emma got lost in your eyes. and that’s when it happened.

the kiss was long, not that you cared

pre-kiss story: he was crushing on you for the entirety of summer, and it was very very obvious. you caught on, but didn’t want to risk being rejected in case he didn’t have any feelings for you and only admired you as a friend. your friendship was chaotic and nick teased him endlessly about you. whenever you came around, nick would make kissing sounds, much to jacob’s embarrassment. he invited you to take a walk with him around the camp and you accepted. while walking, you’d talked about a lot of things. you didn’t expect him to be so sweet. he asked what your life goals were, what you were truly interested in, stuff he hadn’t asked you when he was previously getting to know you. you happily answered, asking some questions of your own. you two fell silent after a bit before jacob asked if you were ready for a relationship. and that’s when it happened.

he pulled you closer to him (if that’s even possible) and held you in the gentlest way

pre-kiss story: you two were the quiet counselors, compared to everyone else, that is. you guys kept to yourselves, not very interested in social interaction. until you mentioned you had interest in the paranormal. ryan was briefly shocked, as he didn’t expect someone to match his interests. this drew him to you. you guys became quick friends and he developed a crush on you, and vice versa. each day he’d walk over and sit next to you, offering one of his earbuds and you accepted every time, like today. the same voices filling your ear everyday were getting annoying, but if it made ryan happy, you’d tough it out. he gave a deep sigh, and you turned to him, asking if he was okay. he let it all out, telling you that he had a giant crush on you. he told you he didn’t expect you to reciprocate his feelings. you put your hand on his, and that’s when it happened.

if you hadn’t initiated it, it probably wouldn’t have happened (not because he didn’t want it to happen, but because he would’ve been too shy)

the kiss was slow + affectionate (you had to change positions to make it more comfortable)

when you pull away, he looks at you for a couple seconds, looks down and smiles to himself

he doesn’t know what to do or say after

his heart is like racing

waits a bit before asking if you would like to be his s/o

pre-kiss story: you two were not supposed to here. you somehow convinced nick to give you the keys to the kitchen at 4 am. dylan kept telling you that the fear of getting caught was part of the fun. you guys decided to bake a cake. he had invited you to come with him to do something with him so he could cherish the memory, as you two had just started dating. you had to contain your laughter or else you’d somehow wake the whole camp. needless to say, you guys made a huge mess. flour was everywhere, the cleaning that lied ahead was going to suck. dylan told you not to worry about it, and to enjoy the moment. you sighed and shook your head at his care-free nature. after the cake was done, you’d decided there needed to be frosting too. when you decide to open a container of frosting and put it on the cake, dylan scoops a little bit of frosting on his finger and rubs it on his lips. he comes up with a great idea in which he grabs your attention, daring you to kiss it off. and that’s when it happened.

he did not expect you to actually do it, but he isn’t opposed

the kiss was playful + quick, not much to it

when you pulled away, he had a dorky grin on his face

he’s definitely gonna cherish this for sure

although it wasn’t an extravagant first kiss, he was so so happy

pre-kiss story: you had the most obvious crush on kaitlyn, it was so obvious that she knew before anyone else did. she also had a crush on you, just not nearly as obvious. you weren’t embarrassed, though. you went out of your way to compliment her and impress her, to which she’d give a sarcastic response. her words didn’t match her feelings at all, as she was very happy about it. recalling the times you showed off for her and only her, the times you complimented her smile, the times you’d say the most corny pick-up lines, only for her. this time, you took her to the shooting range, telling her if you hit the target with the shotgun, she’d have to give you a kiss. she was shocked at the proposal, but agreed nonetheless. you took your shot but missed. she gave another sarcastic remark, but upon seeing your genuinely upset face, she took matters into her own hands. and that’s when it happened.

pre-kiss story: you and max were a fresh couple, and a couple days in you had let max rant to you, but you didn’t know he had so many insecurities. you were glad he wanted to confide in you, but you did not expect this. he hated how dependent and helpless he was. he felt like a burden to people, especially you. he despised how awkward he could be. he thought you wouldn’t like someone like him, and how you should try and find someone better. he kept rambling on and on and you couldn’t believe your ears. yes, he was awkward at times but you loved it. everything he hated himself for, you loved. no matter what, you loved every flaw of him, because that’s what made him max. you stared at him in disbelief as he listed things he hated about himself. you had no idea where this was coming from, he probably bottled all of it up. you spoke his name softly, he kept talking. you spoke it a little louder, he still kept ranting. you gave up on words, and tried something different. and that’s when it happened.

you can trust that he does not say anything afterwards

he’s staring at you with the same disbelief you expressed before

the kiss wasn’t long or short, kinda in the middle and it was very gentle

if you say you love him right after he pulls you into a tight embrace

cuddle with him, stroke his hair, and tell him how great he is and he’ll literally plan your wedding

when you reassure him he gets all warm and fuzzy inside

pre-kiss story: you had scraped your arm after a hard fall and had to go see laura in the nurse’s office again. upon seeing your arrival, she gave a faux groan of annoyance. you laughed at her reaction. you guys have been trying to get a kiss in all summer, being a new couple and all. every time you tried, though, you’d get interrupted by injured campers, or just troublesome campers. sometimes both. you’d get a good laugh out of it, but it really sucked. you wondered if laura was as bothered by this as you were, because you really wanted to kiss her. she teased you about your injury while tending to it with care. once she was finished patching you up, she packed up all the first aid supplies and starting speaking in a low, flirty tone. no one else was around so you could finally have your kiss, or so you thought. when she was inches away from your face, dylan barged in, playfully demanding a band-aid. she opened the first aid kit, grabbed a band-aid, and threw it towards him. she told him to get out, as you two were having a moment. dylan scurries out the door, and she turns to you. and that’s when it happened.

the kiss is long (and overdue)

the kiss was a little rough and impatient

when she pulls away she exclaims, “finally!”

she’s so happy and explains to you how she’s been wanting that to happen for so long

you guys might even kiss again from how happy you are

she has a lollipop jar and lets you pick one

she wants you to stay but as another injured camper comes in, you have to leave

she thinks about the kiss for a loooong while

she does not hesitate to tell anyone else to buzz off when she wants a kiss from you anymore

you definitely make up excuses to visit her in the nurse’s office for more kisses

he's not happy

well, he's happy that you're happy, but being a father he's not happy that you're growing up. he always knew it would happen someday but he hoped you would fall for literally anyone else

travis still thinks of you as a child. he knows he shouldn't, but he hates the thought of you moving on from him completely even though he's sure you wouldn't ever do that

expect for the counselor you're dating to get a stern talking to from him. he'd threaten them, saying if they hurt you he'd find them. he's only partially serious about that part

it's even more awkward if it's max or laura that you're dating. the two of them already know travis and he's exhausted his patience with them already

he doesn't ever want to see you hurt because of your relationship. if you ever end up getting broken up with he's right there by your side consoling you even if he doesn't know how to

he ends up warming up to your partner. he notices how they treat you like their whole world and he can't help but end up liking them a little bit

of course, he's still ready to yell at them if they ever think about breaking your heart

he doesn't know what you see in them, but he sees that they make you happy and he doesn't ask anything about it

he doesn't want to pry into your relationship but he will if he has to

he catches you making out and it's so uncomfortable when you're having dinner together. he doesn't say anything the entire time and communicates solely with his facial expressions

Expressing: acts of service

Laura likes to make your life easier, one way to do that is by doing little jobs for you whenever she has the time. It can be something as small as giving you a glass of water or even going to the grocery store if you run out of time. Helping you makes her feel good, knowing she’s either lightened your load or noticed something she knows you like done she’s happy to do it to make you happy.

Receiving: physical touch

Laura adores light touches here and there, they help ground her and keep her steady. She likes to cuddle at the end of a long day. Either holding you or vice versa is like a balm to her soul. Resting her head on your chest is a big must, she enjoys hearing the heart beat knowing your safe and alive.

Ryan

Expressing: Quality time

It never really occurs to Ryan to voice his thoughts out loud and he’s not as physical as any of the others which leads me to quality time. Whether your listening to a podcast, cleaning your apartment or watching a movie together Ryan doesn’t care as long as he’s with you. You don’t even have to be doing something together, just being near him is enough sometimes, knowing that of everything you could be doing you choose to be with him instead.

Receiving: acts of service

Ryan has always been a caretaker so when you start to take care of him he gets all warm and gooey. You memorise the way he likes things and start doing them for him. Whether it’s a chore or a coffee order. Having someone to lighten that load and willingly go out of their way to do things just for him is how Ryan knows you really love him.

Jacob

Expressing: physical touch

Jacob is the most physically affectionate by far, not just when it comes to hugs and kisses. He likes to have you tucked into his side, to hold your hand or have you lean against him when your in public. Just feeling you against him especially in non sexual scenarios helps ground him, it reminds him that you’re there and that your comfortable in your love for him.

Receiving: quality time

The fact that you would want to go out of your way to be in his presence sometimes leaves him all giddy. He likes to be constantly around you even if the two of you arent really doing anything. He gets insecure a lot when you aren’t around so even your silent companionship does a lot to help ease those nerves

Max

Expressing: words of affirmation

Max is a very verbally supportive person, his love for you is always on the top of his tongue. Pet names, reassurances and constant I love you’s flow from his lips at all times. Expressing those feelings verbally comes very naturally and easily for him. You’re so great and wonderful after all why wouldn’t he tell you as much as possible?

Receiving: gift giving

Max likes to receive things from you, not just expensive things or even things that necessarily pay money. He likes it whenever you pick him up a small trinket from somewhere or make him something. He gets all warm and fuzzy at the thought of you seeing something and immediately thinking of him or making him something that he expresses desire in even once.

YOU GOT IT BABEY

(cw: spoilers, a LOT of masturbation talk)

so, during the prison break segment, you get to be all cozied up in the cell between your two friends. healthily traumatized, feeling homesick, and yet at the same time, the near-death events as well as the prospect of never being able to return home have cornered you into sexual tension like you would not believe. you figured that in a life or death situation you would at least be able to admit your feelings for Max and Laura before you kick the bucket, so realizing that it may be your fate and still not having the courage to tell them when you're in such close proximity (and since you don't want to lose the only friends you have left in this world) is a lot harder to deal with than you anticipated.

plus, depending on who you feel more comfortable with, you're sharing a shower block with at least one of them every couple days which doesn't make it any easier. and you're close enough to each of them that you're the only one who can offer any physical reassurance, which is mostly reaching out of your cell to hold hands with either of them when they meekly ask you to.

and the worst part, above all, is the fact that the only time you can "work out" all that sexual frustration is when both Max and Laura are fast asleep, and Travis isn't around if not watching you directly. and even when you do prop yourself up on your bed and put your hands to work, trying to be as quiet as possible, every shift of their bodies or hitched breath as they sleep is cause enough for you to stop and wait until you're sure they haven't woken up. so it isn't easy, and some days you wish you had the courage to just tell both of them to cover their ears for a few minutes so you can take care of business. you're not even sure how they manage it themselves, because you don't ever really hear them doing the same (even though you wish you could listen) and you're sure it's a lot harder with your partner just out of arm's reach.

and then you wake up from a dream one night, much later than you're usually able to stay up, and your ears adjust slowly to something you've never gotten to hear before. at first you think it's Laura whining or whimpering in pain, but then you can also hear Max--and just when you're about to call out to them to ask if they're okay, you hear Laura from your left side whisper at Max to be quieter, else he'll wake you up.

"c'mon, Laura, it's really hard when they're so close..."

"they're close to me, too! just relax! i don't want them freaking out, Max.."

suddenly you hear Max start whining even more, like he might even be pouting, but what overrides those sounds are the slick, wet ones that you know far too well--and it soon becomes clear that they're doing exactly what it sounds like they're doing. you're not sure how long it's been going on, but they go about it in a way that seems as though it's been practiced thoroughly. on either side of you, you lay awake and listen to both of your crushes touching themselves, sometimes with a bit of dirty talk thrown in if they really think they can get away with it. some of it is directed at each other, but plenty of it includes you--sometimes they even just talk about what they want to do to you in ways that make you so warm in the cheeks you might pass out. you get to know them in ways you didn't think you would, like how Max gets really sappy and lovesick when he's on the edge of orgasm and barrages Laura with "i love you"s, and how you can tell when Laura's getting into it because she drops twice as many curses as usual and sometimes even covers her mouth with her hand.

She has the need for control and predictability, she slowly starts to manage what her obsession is doing little by little making sure her obsession doesn’t know what she's doing until it's too late. She will make plans for their future together and her obsession will follow here, there is no other option. (Well the other option is getting kidnapped and held hostage in Laura’s home/area where she lives) Will do anything to make sure her obsession is take care for and protected, she will make sure that her obsession won’t have to do a single thing when it comes to defending themselves or someone else, Laura will always be near them to be the one to pull the trigger and make sure that they won’t get harmed. Being independent she cannot handle anyone trying to boss or comment on the way she does things, it's either her way or the high way and she is not taking a no for an answer to anything she’s doing especially if it involves her obsession. Is scared that her new found obsession will cause her to make mistakes further down the line because she gets lost in her own thoughts about them but at the same time she cannot see why that would be such a bad thing, after all her obsession makes her happy and she in turn takes care of her obsession and provides for them as well. In her book it's a win-win situation even if her obsession thinks otherwise.

Once the snowball starts with her accepting her obsessive thoughts and feelings it just doesn't stop, slowly she will monopolize her obsession and make sure they are around her 24/7 even if it means that they are around her forcefully. Just because she protects her obsession from harm doesn’t mean that she cannot harm her obsession herself if she thinks they were out of line. —------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Max: This man is helpless around his obsession, he just can’t seem to do anything right. It makes others laugh when they realize how hard he has fallen for his obsession but they never seem to think much of it.

He starts to hang around his obsession more, joking about how they're the one keeping him alive at this point, but at the same time he can’t imagine living in a world without them.

He finally has found someone who he wants to spend the rest of his life with and although he's dependent on them he hopes that they will like him back (I mean, they have to right?).

He’s scared of getting rejected as well..He’s not exactly the person you go to when you need help, however he tries to make it up to his obsession by listening to everything they say and sometimes make little comments about it when they have told him the information days ago, showing that he is listening and interested in whatever they are saying.

Will and can use information his obsession has given him as a form of blackmail to keep them around, and that is only if they mention about not hanging around with him more or leaving him for someone else that they think is better for them (platonically or romantically)

He is delusional in the sense that he thinks it's okay to act like this and that this is how everyone is supposed to be doing this when they want to be in a relationship, he won’t accept the fact that this is unhealthy and gets heavily upset by the implications that it is. However this man is weak for a more in control type obsession, Max is pretty easy to handle if his obsession just takes care of him and makes sure that Max knows they are not leaving him for anything. It will just look like a normal relationship because Max is all for being bossed around and being told what to do as long as it's not about how he should not be spending so much time with them or how he should not be so delusional to think that this is healthy.

it was counselor free time, and obviously you had to spend it with emma. she was your best friend, plus you loved her energy and how she could just be so positive and sunny. she confided in you one day that her confident, unafraid persona was just a front, and you two became even closer. your first thought was to look in the theater, since she was assigned to it. you opened the doors and there she was, instructing people who were holding props and carrying them in their respective areas. even some of the kids were helping.

you walked up to emma, and tapped her on her shoulder. she looks over at you, and smiles.

she thinks you look stunning and that she looks ridiculous and swears like a sailor under her breath

she hesitated to say her lines but ultimately warmed up and let loose a little

you subtly encouraged her to step out of her comfort zone with each line you delivered

she wasn’t a terrible actor, but she wasn’t all that great either

you did improv with her to get her to loosen up some more, as she’s still a little tense

emma watches you help kaitlyn ease into her role and almost squeals at how cute you two are

she can’t help but smile whenever you’re saying your lines and almost forgets to say hers because she’s too busy looking at you

she would be so confident in her abilities if she wasn’t with you, she’s so scared that she’ll embarrass herself in front of you so she falters (BOOST HER EGO NOW.)

they clapped every time she arrived on stage which gave her the confidence she needed (if you still encourage her it’ll mean a lot more than some clapping from randos)

her line delivery isn’t perfect but it’s still impressive

winks at you to flirt subtly because she knows the audience can’t see something as small as that

emma is shocked as laura’s performance and is definitely going to ask her to audition in future plays

when the kiss scene arrives, she doesn’t hesitate but does wait until you’re ready so she doesn’t disrespect your boundaries

the kiss is soft but a little rough (slightly rougher than kaitlyn’s)

when the play is over, she drags you off-stage to tell you how well you did and how much she loves you

accidental confessions at their finest

you admit you like her too and off you two went to find all the snacks you could and rant to each other

you were not expecting emma to be your love interest, but you were glad she was

when she came up on stage, she gave you the softest smile ever

her acting was beautiful, your jaw threatening to drop

she’s the ultimate drama queen, everyone cheered when she came onstage

people clapped whenever you had scenes together

if anything, she’s the one boosting your ego, letting you know how great you’re doing

she has you infatuated, smiling at her every move and word

her movements were so fluid, the acting was on point

she was like a goddess

tell her how great she’s doing, even if she knows it (it means so much to her omg)

when the kiss scene arrives, she kisses you so passionately and gently

everyone clapped because you two are so cute

when they play was over, she admitted to you that she thought you had a crush on nick and tried to set you two up but nick told her that you liked her and therefore she should be the love interest

this led to her confessing that she loved you and would’ve gotten really jealous if you did like nick but would’ve wanted you to be happy

you guys held hands, kissed, shared snacks, listened to music, talked, ranted, whatever you could think of

you two were so happy

ryan's favorite season is winter in my mind. he loves being indoors and drinking warm beverages and enjoying the weather. usually from inside

he's freezing cold, but he's throwing snowballs at you and making snow angels. he's making snowmen with you and gathering sticks to use as arms. anything to make you smile, he'll do

by the time the two of you come back inside, your jackets are soaked with melted snow and your fingertips are freezing even through the gloves you're wearing. he wouldn't change that, though

he'll make you some hot chocolate, cover the both of you up in a warm blanket and you'll sit on the couch watching the snow fall together for awhile

ryan is really big on quality time, so he really enjoys lounging around with you on snowy days <3

dylan lenivy

dylan is up and at em! he's practically running outside into the snow with no warm clothes on at all as soon as he sees the weather

you'll have to remind him to put on a winter coat, gloves, a hat, everything. he's so eager to go outside and play and let out his inner child for a little while

he'll throw a snowball at you and it quickly becomes a huge fight between the two of you in your front lawn. neither of you care if you look weird, though

he wants to stay outside for as long as possible. he comes up with a ton of things to do in the snow with you so he doesn't have to go inside

he'll want to make snowmen and he falls over multiple times rolling the snow into perfect balls to use for the body

i don't see kaitlyn as a person who really cares about what it's like outside. she'll see that it's snowing and shrug. it's not her first priority

if you want to go outside, she will. she thinks it's hilarious that you're wanting to play in the snow and she'll end up joining you after awhile

but for the most part, she'd prefer to stay inside. she'll make you a warm drink and put on your favorite movie or show to watch while snuggled up with her on the couch

she'll get the warmest and biggest blanket she could find and cover the two of you up in it, and she loves the time that she gets to spend with you

the cold weather is an excuse to cuddle with you. she's not the best at asking for it, but she's happy it's freezing outside so you're wanting extra warmth

as an australian, nick is absolutely fascinated with snow. he never saw it growing up so in america he loves going outside and just staring at it for awhile

you'll come up with a few things to do with him while it's snowing, like snowball fights and making snow angels. he's got a smile on his face the entire time

he has the time of his life!! it's such a new experience for him and he has so much fun with you. he never wants to go back inside

after the snow calms down a little, the two of you head inside and curl up to watch some of your favorite christmas/holiday movies to celebrate the winter weather

nick hasn't had many cold winters, and he's glad he gets to spend this one with you

i feel like abi is definitely an outdoorsy person in general. winter probably isn't her favorite of the seasons, but the weather and atmosphere give her something new to draw

she'll sit next to you on a bench in the wintertime, drawing on her notepad. she loves having you around even if your presence makes her heart race

when she isn't drawing, she's happy to go outside and mess around with you in the snow. she's making snowmen and snow angels so quickly

as soon as emma sees that it's snowing, she's grabbing onto your hand and pulling you outside even if you're half asleep

i can just imagine her urging you to get up and get dressed. she's just so excited for the snow, even though she's seen it plenty

she loves spending the day with you, too. she loves the weather but she loves your company even more. she comes up with a TON of ideas to do on a snowy day

skiing, snowboarding, sledding. the whole nine years. she calls beforehand and makes sure everything is in place. she takes winter and her activities very seriously

jacob is also really into wintertime. he's 100% going to run outside and just jump into the snow. he'll be freezing cold and instantly regret it afterwards, but he sees you laughing and he suddenly doesn't care

he'll build a snow fort. he doesn't know what he's doing, but he's preparing for a snowball fight. he can just sense it coming

he makes a really awful snowman, but he's super proud of it. he found sticks for arms and ran inside for a carrot. he loves it

i feel like laura will spend a few hours outside playing in the snow with you if that's something you want to do. she'll build snowmen with you, make snow angels, whatever you want
