Aziraphales Lapels in the Final Fifteen are weird
Okay, so I was re-watching the Final Fifteen because of Do that again, and I noticed something. Aziraphales lapels are usually pointed up when he's siding with Heaven/doing something good/something he believes is good, as seen in 1941 at the church , but now, he's siding with Heaven, and his lapels are pointed firmly down
Tumblr media
I don't pretend to know what this means but it is certainly something.
Secondly, and this one definitely doesn't mean anything, but his lapels get fixed somehow after he turns away to look at his bookshop while talking to the Metatron, and it's strange because he never reaches up to fix them.

Fashion Patternmaking Techniques: Jackets, Coats and Cloaks
This is another volume by Antonio Donnanno which uses the block or sloper method to create a whole variety of garments. This one covers jackets from the ubiquitous blazer to the motorcycle jacket to the more interesting cuts that women only tend to wear. It defines types of jackets and coats as you see here with the raglan sleeve, the redingote, and what he calls the Montgomery and we call the duffle coat. The redingote, by the way is a reworking by the French of the word riding-coat, then reworked back into the English language. How is that for fun?
Along the way, he explains the basic terminology for different kinds of collars, sleeves, and garment lines for both women’s and men’s coats and jackets. Each one comes with a full sketch of how to draft the pattern pieces by altering the basic block: see the “Collarless Lapel” for part of an example of such a sketch.
Capes and hoods in variety show up under the cloaks section, although I think they only work well for evening wear. I really like sleeves for daywear as you can remain warm and use your arms fully. But a striking cape is something most of us would be willing to cope with for an evening out. A last section explains how to cope with fitting problems for those garments that fall close to the body.
This is a technical manual and if you studied it closely, you would gain an almost encyclopedic knowledge of drafting and outer wear garment design. You can find it here at PromoPress: https://www.promopress.es/en/

La Mode illustrée, no. 3, 16 janvier 1898, Paris. Toilette de printemps. Modèle de chez Mmes Coussinet-Piret, rue Richer, 43. Ville de Paris / Bibliothèque Forney
Description de la gravure coloriée:
Dress in nickel gray cloth. — The half-long skirt behind is open on four quilles of purple velvet; around these quilles, the skirt is framed with tone-on-tone embroidery, which continues on the lower outline; a light trimming can be substituted for this embroidery. The bodice, which ends behind in a small skirt, is lined with large velvet lapels, lined with cloth, similar to that of the dress; this lining extends a little beyond the lapels, which cross over each other and end at the waist; the sleeves, very slightly puffed out at the shoulder, end in lapels similar to those of the bodice, the neckline is trimmed behind by a Medici collar of the same cloth as the dress, lined with velvet; the opening of the dress is filled with a camisole covered with ruffles in cream silk muslin; tie with bow in the same muslin.
Hat in nickel gray felt, trimmed with feathers of the same shade, and purple feathers.

NPCs - Sourced Documents: Order of Caphellus
The order of Caphellus is supposedly based on a Templar-Assassin construct in modern times in which order members wear a lapel pin, and carry a coin similar to the Eyes of The Grey.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
They have many members, most are doctors, nurses and scientists looking to perfect humanity with the GOD Genome. This is similar to what some ISU wanted to do to humans so they could be controlled. The Caphellus members just want to honor the people with their given birth rites.
This comes from a man who had a snake, whose name was Caphellus. He believed the snake was the incarnation of an ancient Egyptian god, and so he would listen to his snake very closely. One evening, Caphellus got loosed from his caretaker and the old man died when Caphellus bit him, forming an ancient prophecy.
Caphellus re-animated the man after once again being in his isu form. He gave him his venom from his teeth and his caretaker became the first Ward.
All Order members carry this coin and wear the lapel pins.

The Prophecy of Caphellus, Snake Man
When the earth trembles and the mountains crack
And the shadows rise from the ancient black
The snake man Caphellus shall awaken from his sleep
To defend his people and his keep
He shall wield the power of the Isu race
And the wisdom of the hidden place
He shall face the enemies of the olden days
And the foes who seek to end his ways
He shall lead the Isu in the final war
With the might of steel and the might of lore
He shall vanquish the darkness and the hate
And restore the glory of the Isu state
