A lot of the time when I see people talk about aromanticism they bring up the way a lot of us tend to think that romance is just exaggerated in fiction and are surprised that people feel that way in real life and not just in the movies and that's honestly kind of funny, imagine just going about your life and one day finding out that most people's high school years were actually like disney channel and you're the exception

Ok so I noticed a lot of us are broke or something and don't want to pay for Netflix or buy so many books .
So, I made a list. If you have any to recommend, please send them in my ask box!!! I'll be editing this as people recommend websites, so this post may change quite a lot :)
For pirating books:
Libgen.rs - great for most books. Mostly EPUB though, so if you want PDF versions you might have to check other websites.
Anna’s Archive - searches the web to find book files across the web.
PDF Drive - great for textbooks, exercises, etc. Also has quite a few fiction books in PDF. Good for people who mostly read in PDF.
Project Gutenberg - good for classics!
Pirating movies and TV shows:
Sflix - MOVIES!!! Depends which country you’re in though, may not work for some

Bilibili - Mostly anime; I unfortunately couldn't get this to work, so if this is good, please tell me!!
Tubi - this weirdly doesn't work in England, where I live. People from other countries, can you tell me if this works?
Thebigheap.com - literally the best thing ever, has nearly ALL movies and TV shows which are actually high quality, I recommend this so much ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

adding on some sites i use:
zoro.to just anime, but its worked for literally everything ive ever needed. there's both dub and sub options, and it's kept very up-to-date for currently airing shows too!
onionplay high quality show and movie streaming, its also kept pretty current! unfortunately, it doesnt have subtitles available for anything :(
mangareader.to what it says on the tin. i dont use it very frequently, but from what i have interacted with, it works quite well, with different translations available too
libby i saw this in the notes, and yes it works great. theres a free app available (i use that) but as far as i know reading on the site also works? itll prompt you for your local library and your library card information (card number and PIN) in order to make an account, but thats it
hoopla audiobooks! im not much of an audiobook person, but other people in my family highly recommend it. all you need is library card info and an email, and you're set! this also has a free app, but (to my limited knowledge, anyway) it also works on the site.
not a site, but if you look up "[name of media] google drive" you can get public drive files and watch/read things that way. a good plan b if the usual platforms dont have it :)

When I was younger and researching the autism diagnosis criteria and symptoms, I thought “oh I couldn’t POSSIBLY be autistic.” Because when I read “takes everything literally” I thought it literally meant EVERYTHING and I was like “I don’t take EVERYTHING literally, just most things!” And I just realized the other day that it didn’t actually mean EVERYTHING and that was an overstatement.
