Fooduary Day 12: Candy Apples
This one was particularly hard! I am not the best at super bright/saturated colors so I second guess myself too much while drawing with them. Candy Apples were invented in 1908. I wanted to incorporate the iconic color, the stick, and hide little apples where I could. What do you think?

Anonymous. Gustav Klimt, Emilie und Helene Flöge, Litzlberg at Attersee, Austria, 1906 | src Ostlicht
"This private photograph is captivating because of the contrast between the different silhouettes of the three figures, which reveals the emancipatory radicalism of the reform dress. Implicitly, as one might say, this also "quotes" the design element of repeated curved lines, as found in many of Gustav Klimt's compositions."

I am so absolutely in love with this dress, I don't even know where to start. The colour, the embroidery, the sleeves, everything
