BEST PRIMER 2022 | LANCOME SMOOTHING PRIMER FIRST IMPRESSION

This has to be one of the best primers I've ever tried. I absolutely LOVE the way it makes my skin look. It adds hydration that literally lasts for 24 hours. When I wash my face in the morning I can still see the effects. My skin looks better the day after. It smooths, brightens and minimizes my pores. I don't think I'll ever go without it. I've had this primer for a few days and have been wearing it every day ever since.

If you have really dry skin or looking for that dewy glass-like skin, you NEED to get this! Oh and omg the packaging is STUNNING! I love everything about this priming serum.

🌸 this stuff is like, wow, did you just come back from a tea party at a magical fairy garden where it was raining cotton candy?! ☁️ ☁️

🌸 i find this to be like my little lucky charm and i think it actually works, but, bring around a tiny picture of your fave forest animal and its like all animals love you and i seem to always get the compliment that i would be a woodland flower princess that talks to animals! lol and animal lover always radiates the most angelic glow ugh!!! 💞🐇

🌸 make sure you are keepin up with your hygiene routine and the best no.1 tip is to be kind!! the kindest people are the most beautiful. (ofc when people take advantage of this kindness, pull back bc they obvi do not deserve your presence!)

whats does your go to makeup look, look like? what do you use to achieve it?

my go to makeup look is natural to soft glam, my eyeliner isn’t listed but on an edgier day i will wear a black liner with a smoked water line. dolores haze is an inspiration for my daily makeup especially with those blushed cheeks and red lips. also lana del rey and vintage stars

face: for a more dewy look i love the AOA (shopmissa.com) AQUA primer and makeup revolutions hydrate and conceal foundation + concealer or i use the $1 shopmissa pot concealers. if i want a more natural glow from within look, i will use my dior multipurpose palette but for a more mature sophisticated and lifted look i use my colorpop palette because it is more pigmented. The $1 AOA cream blush is if it’s a low effort day. for powder I use either Maybelline Fit Me or Colorpops No Filter Setting Powder.

lips: i LOVE lipgloss, the NYX lip oil is a berry color with a more oily consistency, unlike many glosses just listed as a lip oil. Fenty HEAT gloss in cherry makes your lips look so poppin, and the dior lip oil is honestly really moisturizing. And let me tell you about that AOA $1 skin salve. It comes in many scents and is really moisturizing + put it anywhere. MAC mini lippies too, i got these in a set from TJMAXX

eyes: i usually keep it pretty light with my eyeshadow with pinks, purplish colors, and cool toned or neutral browns. Listed is the Colorpop Rock Candy cool toned palette, the open palette is from hipdot i got it from ipsy, and once again, another $1 AOA product. These little shadow quads are actually decently pigmented, have cute packaging, and so easy to throw in your bag. on a more dramatic day i tend to do my eyeshadow like lana inspired

eyeliners+brows: i use the NYX jumbo on my inner corner for a brightening effect before i apply highlight there. the creme liner in white and the eyeliner pen are also from color pop. i have one in black but it isn’t listed. i love to use sky high mascara avoiding the bottom lashes for a more natural look. For my brows i tend to go more natural with a colorpop pencil and gel.

runner ups: colorpops BFF mascara in the blue shade, they so many colors but when i want to switch it up i apply it to my bottom lashes. the lancome juicy tubes last so long on your lips because it’s thick yet comfortable. LA colors Glossy Lips gloss + blush up cream blush are sooo nice and you can get them from the dollar store. the AOA $1.88 Super glue holds my lashes so good and it’s cheaper than most glues + better i’ve been swearing by it and the brand for YEARS

Mucho Glam, mucho arte y muchas motos

Marcelo Hidalgo Sola nos invita a recorrer las Galerías Pacífico. Un complejo edilicio que nuclea un circuito comercial de lujo, un centro cultural y diversos emprendimientos gastronómicos. Desde 1945, en su cúpula interior, guarda un conjunto de frescos que son el legado de los muralistas más importantes de todos los tiempos. Tan solo se trata de pasar y ver.

Hoy nuevamente, los moto kultural salen a sortear obstáculos en la zona del microcentro y a estacionar el desfile de motos en el corazón del barrio de San Nicolás. El objetivo es seguir las huellas de los edificios más elegantes de fines del siglo XIX en la ciudad de Buenos Aires. Y por supuesto, en la esquina de Florida y Avenida están emplazadas las Galerías Pacífico, un edificio que fue declarado Monumento Histórico de la Ciudad.

Las Galerías Pacífico, no se llamaban así en un principio, sino ‘Bon Marché’. Fueron concebidas a fines del siglo XIX, momento en el cual la Argentina se perfilaba potencia agroexportadora y las divisas entraban a raudales al país. La clase terrateniente vislumbró que podría alcanzar el sueño de ser como la clase alta parisina y se decidió imitarla con todo empeño. Por ello, a la manera del Bon Marché de París, Francisco Seeber y Emilio Bunge crearon el Bon Marché Argentino.

Las construcciones se iniciaron en 1887 y la fachada cobró su actual fisonomía , inspirada en las Galerías Humberto I de Nápoles . El edificio se pensó para cumplir la función que cumple aún hoy: ser una galería comercial para un selectísimo público; lugar en el que se pueden nuclear en un mismo espacio las mejores marcas del mundo. Así, quien la visite hoy, podrá acceder a las tiendas de Lancome, Chanel, Lacoste, Christian Dior, Polo Ralph Lauren, junto a tiendas locales como Etiqueta Negra , explica Marcelo Hidalgo Sola. Un claro ejemplo de lo que es ser un ciudadano del mundo, en caso de estar en Buenos Aires.

El interior es similar al de las Galerías Bon Marché de París: estructuras de hierro simples con grandes diseños ornamentales y fabulosos ventanales. En la versión porteña, se realizó una imponente obra de arte arquitectónica, con calles entrecruzadas y una cúpula central muy elegante. Tras la crisis económica de 1890, en 1908 el Bon Marché Argentino fue vendido al ferrocarril Buenos Aires al Pacífico. Allí toma el nombre que aún hoy conserva: Galerías Pacífico.

Los comienzos en donde el arte se incorpora al negocio comercial

En 1945 se emprende una remodelación integral para convertirse en el centro cultural y comercial más exclusivo de la región ubicado en pleno microcentro porteño. Fue el primer complejo de este estilo de Latinoamérica y en aquella refundación de la galería, se construyó el actual emblema del edificio: La magnífica cúpula con murales de Antonio Berni, Lino Spilimbergo, Juan Carlos Castagnino, Demetrio Urruchúa y Manuel Colmeiro, siendo éste último, el único artista no argentino.

Los murales, cuyo valor es inestimable, registran una gran cantidad de situaciones, alegorías y mensajes universales diversos. Los artistas buscaron una unidad en los conceptos sin dejar de lado la espontánea creación individual. Habían convenido realizar una decoración que lograra una construcción de los valores primarios socioculturales, comunes a todas las culturas como lo son la familia y el vínculo con la naturaleza. En uno de los frescos, se vislumbra a una familia en una escena doméstica. Aquí pareciera ser que el artista pone en relieve los vínculos nobles de la unión familiar. La escena denota armonía. El cuadro transparenta la calidez que comparten los integrantes del núcleo familiar que son celebrados por el pincel del autor. En otro fresco se ven escenarios naturales en donde prevalece el matiz agreste. El pintor en este caso, celebra todos los elementos de la naturaleza : agua, aire, tierra y fuego. Se puede apreciar la fuerza de cada uno y en conjunto que tienen cada uno de ellos. El pincel los exalta y resalta y de lejos puede apreciarse un conjunto de seres humanos, aprendiendo a manipular las fuerzas elementales en un estado post adánico. La idea aquí pareciera renovar en quien observa, la noción de asombro y de agradecimiento hacia los dones y regalos que constantemente la naturaleza brinda al hombre, proporcionándole sustento y abrigo.

“Con el propósito de desarrollar lo más simplemente posible la pintura mural en nuestro país, y sabiendo la finalidad que a ésta le corresponde con relación a la arquitectura moderna, hemos organizado este grupo de pintores para establecer una relación complementaria con arquitectos y constructores”, escribió en su momento el grupo

Estos artistas conformaban el legendario Taller de Arte Mural (TAM), que durante la visita al país de David Alfaro Siqueiros realizaron junto a él la obra que llamaron “Ejercicio plástico” en el sótano de la quinta de Natalio Botana, que luego fuera recuperado tras un derrotero de abandono s y que, ahora , está expuesto en el Museo del Bicentenario. Este colectivo muralista adhería con firmeza a los mismos valores que los artistas de murales mexicanos sobre pintar en grandes superficies públicas para que las obras pudieran ser vistas por la mayor cantidad de gente posible, como una forma de convivir con el arte. Así este grupo (TAM) , que luego decorara la cúpula en el interior de las Galerías, nos enseña que el arte puede apreciarse de un modo nuevo, como si uno estuviera en un museo a ‘galería abierta’ Y realmente esto es así, un espacio único en el corazón de la ciudad en donde el arte está al alcance de la mano y de la vista y no cuesta nada, tan solo el esfuerzo de levantar la mirada y dejarse subyugar por la obra de estos grandes exponentes del arte mural de todos los tiempos. Un paseo imperdible, con garantía de satisfacción tanto en lo cultural como en lo personal, si uno se atreve además, a tentarse con alguna marca top y llevarse alguna pequeña joya, como recuerdo de la visita aquí.
