Swamp Monster Girl! More specifically, The Drowned Lady of the Swamp, or as the party affectionately refers to her: 'Puddles'. She's kind of the unofficial Patron of the Bard, and a great way to fast travel if they have some spare gold or magic items... and don't mind the sensation of being drowned. She's a weirdo and I love roleplaying her.

I made this pop up book for my final project, the story is about a girl searching for her best friend, spooky venetian folklore and bad parenting.

I had a blast designing and illustrating it, although that first spread really tested my patience. Regardless of some tactical mistakes, like paper choice and discrepancies between print and digital illustrations, I’m very pleased with the result!

Am I in love with Swamp Lump? Yes. Absolutely. They need more content.

Poison Ivy Redemption Round 6

At the intersection of The Outsiders Way and Curtis Brothers Lane in Tulsa, OK, is The Outsiders House Museum, the original filming location for the 1983 film. This weekend they were celebrating the film’s 40th anniversary and the place was crawling with extras. We didn’t plan that, but it was cool as hell for us, three huge fans. Everyone present was incredibly passionate about the movie and very proud to have been part of it. Lots of memories made, lots of money spent in the gift shop.

Created two working brushes for my daily needs in CSP. Really needed something soft, but textured + a pressure sensitive tapered brush for detailing. Really happy with the result. While doodling with them, a sketch appeared. I'll call it 'Let me have my marshmallow cocoa in peace, please!'

I honestly think people read way more into this fandom than what is really there. If I elaborate my thoughts, I fear I will get my head blown off. Also, on that way lies shipwars and shipwars are never fun. It's also not really any different than what goes on in other fandoms, every fandom ever. I'm just an old fart who thinks that fandom (all fandoms) has gotten weirder and weirder with every passing year (and wish people wouldn't mistake their headcanons for canon) and act like everyone who partakes in the media is of the same thought. Trust me, I don't expect people to share or even care about my headcanons. I'm afraid to join any Trigun discords or any type of fan-club because I'm pretty sure I disagree with the majority of the fandom on some things that people have heightened emotions about. It's to the point that I really think "people are just making their own story out of this that doesn't resemble what I watched / read" sometimes. But again, I shouldn't complain too hard, because every fandom. It's just, I don't know... this fandom scares me sometimes.
