PLOT: Your muse is either trying to help or rob Pem, who is blind and uses a guide dog and is out of sorts in a store and on her walk home as she’s out later than normal and can’t see.
A massive order of mugs and plates coming in short notice for an upcoming wedding had kept Pem locked up in her studio for a week. With the upcoming ceramics convention where she planned to sell some of her work, Pem was stressed and had forgotten to buy a new dress for the event, now just a day away. Though she was trying to be more independent, she’d never really gone shopping alone and she’d lost track of time. While her vision was limited and Kuzey was with her, Pembe typically didn’t stress about her phone’s little ‘sunset’ chime because she never wandered far from home, but that wasn’t the case today.
Draping the three dresses that she hadn’t even tried over her left arm, she reached for the handle of her yellow lab’s harness and they headed to the counter. Pem nervously chewed on her cheek as she waited her turn. She could smell the distinct scent of body wash and laundry detergent behind her but not overpowering. Whoever they were they kept their distance, but it made her feel like she was about to annoy them if the clothes had been on the wrong hangers. Passing the clothes to the teller she said, “Can you just make sure the dresses are all a size small, please?” She could just barely make out the teller nodding, but the ‘mood’ lighting in the shop combined with the rapidly setting sun outside made her nervous for the walk home. Ma’am, this one is a medium and the other two are long tunic shirts, not dresses. Do you want to step out of line and grab what you need? Pem glanced back toward the vast store and the darkness outside. “I can’t see. Kuzey’s not used to guiding me at night when I have zero visibility.” As expected the teller groaned, asking what she wanted to do, rattling off the return policy. “I’ll figure it out…”
Pem walked with purpose to the nearest brightly colored rack of clothes, running her fingers over the fabrics and squinting at the price tags while Kuzey stayed patiently at her side. Another three, not tried on dresses and fifteen minutes later, she was back in the same line, checking out with three small hopefully appropriate dresses. She stepped out into the darkness and immediately she could smell it, it was going to rain. Her blue eyes looked up at the dark sky and she sighed. This was not her day. She contemplated calling an Uber, but it was so hit and miss finding someone who would pick her and Kuzey up. Then, she caught the same scent of the person that had been behind her in the line. Her head turned, in the direction of shuffling, her fingers clung to the bag, “Umm hello?”

@lepinedoree
The spymaster took pride in seeing what others could not. His was an observant eye and an intrinsic instinct, one he had instilled into each of his spies. But there was nothing subtle or nuanced about the events that unfolded. The pain afflicted to the Night Court’s lord spurred bloodshed. There was nothing sensible or thoughtful about it. Instead, it was the anger that simmered beneath the surface, coaxed out by a speck of a human looking to make their mark. His breathe barely caught as the fight began, slowly and then all at once. His companion for the evening, rushing away from his side. Calliope was as dutiful to the Spring as he, and her ability to heal would support Kuzey and his troops well. Noel pushes aside the concern, instead following the sights to the defenseless residents of Avalon City. The nobility would have their support and their power. But the spectators and competitors, some of whom had never seen battle, would surely need help.
While Noel wasn’t much of a swordsman, his training under James’ tutelage allowed him to hold his own. His movement was slower, as he dove into the belly of the beast, but precise and thoughtful. A great number of innocents appeared lost, simply wishing to avoid the fray. He attempted to shepherd a good few out of the line of fire, but the sound of a distinct scream stops him cold. His chest tightened, as a hardened expression turned towards the sound. It was Calliope. Even from afar, the color of her blue and purple dress was unmistakable. As was the sound, so terrible in its wake. Noel moves to the fray, avoiding the combative swings of Spring’s enemies. The memorobilia of the Spring Court, doing little to disguise his allegiance. His heart pounds as he finds his way through, stopping just short of Calliope as he watched a glaze in her eyes. Lost and entrapped, in something he could not understand. Yet his eyes look past hers, as he spots it -- the unmistakable blood and the curb of her leg. “Calliope,” he whispers at first, before dropping to is knees as he grasped her shoulders. “Calliope!”

@kuzeys // back lane, the fruit and vegetable shop // late evening.
exhaustion weighs heavily upon the curve of her spine as an arm remains outstretched and rhythmic in each soothing stroke down the back of a bleary - eyed toddler. she had been in a coaxing position for the past twenty minutes, knees aching as she crouched by the side of the bed to keep her gaze leveled with the child until whiskey hues drifted to a close, lashes fluttering uselessly against the call of slumber ─ and then she had remained as such for another five minutes, soaking in the peaceful innocence of her niece, as though she could steal such blissful oblivion for herself. yet an audible knock tickles at the ear, gaze lifting from where she had been watching the steady rise and fall of the child’s back to the direction of the noise, dark brows knitting together in confusion. it was not uncommon for her to receive a few late customers ─ mothers returning from their jobs at the factories, hoping to pick up a few cheap greens for their children, usually, but it was past the time for such visits. still, she rises from the squat, swallowing a groan of pain as the joints of her knees crack together and pads silently out of the bedroom to the sound of another knock, louder, this time, even though it was muffled by the floor that separated the shop from the apartments above.
initially, she had assumed it was a mere drunkard, stumbling through the narrow lane behind the shops, but, loathing to see her efforts in lulling her niece to sleep wasted because of such noise, she begins a jog down the stairs, irritation burning in her veins to push each step from her limbs. in the darkness of the stairway, she waits for a third knock, though she still recoils slightly when it does come. for a moment, she ponders on the idea of throwing the door open to give the visitor a colorful berate, but wariness settles in her stomach, the evening breeze whistling down through the loosen roof tiles like a warning. one hand rests upon the revolver tucked in the waistband of her skirt, dragging the soft material down with the weight, as she sets upon the door, wrenching it open in a hurry. ❝ bayezid. ❞ a familiar face greets her, shadowed by the darkness ─ she had not expected anyone from the bratva, unforewarned of any planned attacks or impending retaliations yet a sense of relief floods through her, followed minutely by annoyance. there is no light on the street but the one that comes from the moon, so she takes a step closer, studying the condition of his face. there seemed to be a redness to his nostrils and an open cut to the bridge that prompted her to wince, sympathetically, as well as swelling to the cheek that promised to bruise prettily against the skin but she would see the damage better under proper light. a heavy sigh leaves her lips, open palm slapping against his torso lightly. ❝ this is what you’ve disturbed me for ? go home and sleep it off, you’ve had worst. ❞
even as she chases him away, the medik is running through the items in her kit mentally and opening the door wider, though a blooming stickiness under her palm intensifies the worried furrow to her forehead ─ when she pulls the hand back, the tips of her fingers are stained with a redness that sends her head spinning. ( again ?! the word flares in the throat and dies an unuttered death. ) ❝ get in. ❞

Merkür’ün Tamamı
https://www.uzaydanhaberler.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/04/MESSENGER-False-Color-Mercury-Globe-Spin-720p_30fps_H264-192kbit_AAC.mp4

🇬🇧 Altamira
One of the most important painted Palaeolithic caves (as is Lascaux, France) and one of the earliest discovered (1879). The site is in the Cantabrian Mountains of northeast Spain and the 280-meter long cave is famous for its polychrome animals, which include deer, bison, and wild boar painted in red, black, and a range of earth colors. Most of the art in the cave was produced by Solutrean and Magdalenian peoples, with one layer radiocarbon-dated to c 13,000 BC. The most famous panel is of 15 bison, plus deer and horses. There is also a hall with black paintings, and symbols are found in several parts of the cave.
🇹🇷 Altamira

Best 10 Places to Visit
Istanbul
Nearly all Turkey itineraries begin in Istanbul. It’s this city that straddles two continents at once. The Bosphorus Strait acts like a continental border, splitting the city into two halves Napa wineries European and Asian. This city is the center of the country’s film and television industry, which is why many telenovelas, including Kuzey Guney, are not only shot but also set here. When here, make sure you visit the Ottoman Topkapi Palace, the beautiful Hagia Sophia with its intricate mosaics, and the underground Basilica Cistern. Shop until you drop at the Grand Bazaar, take a cruise down the Bosphorus, say a prayer at the Blue Mosque and soak in the cityscape from the Galata tower.
Ankara
Turkey’s capital and second-largest city, Ankara, is a quieter version of Istanbul. Buğra Gülsoy, who plays Guney in Kuzey Guney, was born here. He is among many celebrities who call this city home. The city has all the fine-tuning that come with being a diplomatic seat of power; however, it never bores its visitors. Here, you can visit the Anıtkabir, which is the mausoleum of Mustafa Kemal Ataturk, the founder of Turkey. It is no wonder why this structure dominates the city’s skyline. For panoramic views of the city, head to the Ankara Citadel located in the Ulus Bentderesi District of the Old Quarter. While you are here, go for a walk on the cobblestone alleys of the quarter and take in the quaint Ottoman houses. At the other end of the spectrum is Kizilay Square, filled with buzzing cafes and restaurants.
Bodrum
The star of the Turkish Riviera, Bodrum, is a world-famous getaway for beach lovers. The city sits by the Aegean Sea and offers a fun Mediterranean vibe to visitors. Its enviable location makes many tourists throng the numerous cafes, restaurants, and luxury hotels that line its azure coastline every summer. Kıvanç Tatlıtuğ, who plays the role of Kuzey in Turkey’s most popular show, holidays here often! You could visit Bodrum Castle, the Museum of Underwater Archaeology, the ancient Bodrum Theatre, and Myndos Gate or simply recline on the beach and hope to run into him!
Kas, Antalya
Kas is a quiet seaside town set away from the bustling crowds. It is located in the Antalya region on the Mediterranean coastline of Turkey. If you prefer an itinerary that’s void of a to-do list, this should be your to-go place! This is the best spot to explore the underwater world first-hand with several diving schools that will first train and then take you on guided deep-sea diving tours. You may take a break from that at one of the seaside cafes or explore the colorful streets of the old market! Kas also offers a dose of history in the form of ancient sites like Antiphellos Theatre.
Trabzon
Trabzon offers two-in-one fun: it’s located by the Black Sea in north-eastern Turkey and has the Pontic Mountains pass through it; this creates a hill station-like ambiance. The region offers a different take on Turkey, one that’s sprinkled with bouts of silence. Explore the Sumela Monastery, a Greek Orthodox Ministry built in the year 346 AD. Spend a night near the Uzun Göl or Long Lake, enjoy a sunset over the Black Sea at Boztepe, and pay respects to the nation’s founding father at the Trabzon Ataturk Kosku museum. Trabzon also has its own Hagia Sophia that’s a little different from the one in Istanbul!
Cappadocia
You will know you’re in Cappadocia when you look up and see colorful hot air balloons floating in the sky. Of course, the best view from one of these balloons is that of the UNESCO World Heritage Site-listed Goreme Open Air Museum, which is home to rock-cut churches that once sheltered Byzantine monks. Equally fascinating are the region’s 36 underground cities—; the most prominent one being the Kaymakli Underground City. Once you’re done touring the sights in Istanbul and Ankara, there are direct flights that connect you to this city in the central Anatolian region of Turkey. You can visit the various pottery shops, the Pasabag, and Devrent Valley, and even check into a cave hotel!
Ephesus
If you are a lover of history then Ephesus must make an entry in your Turkey travel map. It is located about one hour away from Izmir, a city in which many of Turkey’s most popular shows have been set. Ephesus was once an ancient Greek city and today its ruins are very interesting to visit. The entire area is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and its must-visit places include the remains of the Temple of Artemis, the Temple of Hadrian, the Basilica of St. John and the Ephesus Museum where you will be captivated by the Artemis statute and the Gladiator Room. The Isa Bey Mosque is an important religious center as is the Meryemana.
Konya
Konya is a romantic city—the kind that would lure dreamers and poets. It’s no wonder why the famous Sufi poet and whirling dervish, Mevlana Rumi, penned his famous, heart-touching verses here in the 13th century. Without a doubt, your first stop should be at the Mevlana Museum that’s adorned with gorgeous roses and contains the tomb of the renowned poet. Its Semahane contains a museum exhibiting religious items from the era. Head to the Alaeddin Tepe park for an evening stroll and cup of Turkish tea. The other fine arts in Konya are represented by the Tile Museum and Museum of Wooden and Stone Carving, ensuring that all lovers of art have a gala time here!
Pamukkale
Pamukkale literally translates to “cotton castle.” One look at its whitewashed terrain and you will know why! The natural site in southwestern Turkey abounds with hot springs rich in the mineral travertine and has been drawing visitors since the 2ndcentury B.C.! Declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Pamukkale combines mineral forests, waterfalls, and terraced basins into an open-air spa in a surreal landscape. Take a dip in the calcium-rich travertines, trek up Pamukkale Castle, and learn about Cicero in the Roman ruins of Laodikeia. You may also explore the Hierapolis City Ruins that, along with the springs, make up this UNESCO site.
Bursa
Bursa is so verdant that it was nicknamed "Yeşil Bursa" (Green Bursa) because of the number of parks and gorgeous mountain within and around it. It once served as the capital of the Ottoman state, and its importance as an industrial center continues to this day. In the winters, it is a major attraction for skiers because of the ski resort of Mount Uludağ that overlooks it. In the summers, the mountain provides respite from the heat and wonderful mountain vistas. Take the teleferik to go up to the top. Cumalıkızık, with its quaint cobblestone streets, is a preserved Ottoman village just outside the city center that offers a peek into the traditional Turkish way of life, head here for its huge village breakfast spreads. Buy souvenirs like ebru painting, lithography, ceramics and tiles, calligraphy, metal art, and Ottoman-period antiques at the Kayhan Bazaar. Also, don’t miss the natural thermal spas and hammams!

So, my thoughts on all the Turkish shows I am watching
Bizim Hikaye - I have zero emotional investment in it and watch it on ff but I have a sneaking fondness for the characters and I am hanging on 28 eps in so they must be doing something right.
Cukur - surprisingly steady and well-done two dozen eps in. I am still pissed off about them sidelining Sena, but it’s still a good enough show I love it.
Fazilet Hanim ve Kizlari - I used to love it a lot but it’s a show more suited to binging and skipping than a proper watch every week. I have not been happy with its direction lately so the news of it being renewed for a third season fill me with dread.
Kuzey Guney - I like it but oh God is it dour and depressing and Kuzey likes to create his own misery. It’s something I can’t binge because it makes me want to take up drinking.
Sen Anlat Karadeniz - surprisingly stellar from first ep to now. I like pretty much everything about it, from the amazing, restrained physically yet ride-or-die OTP, to colorful secondary characters to the setting. Please stay good!
Siyah Beyaz Ask - oh Good God, I did not not know hard drugs were legal in Turkey, yet the new writers appear to consume them in great quantities. SBA is the show that brought me back to Turkish shows, I adored the first dozen eps and liked the next 8 but by now it’s a chore and the writers have NO idea what they are doing - the chemistry between the OTP is a rare, once in a lifetime occurrence and the show gives us plenty of them, but there is only so far they can compensate for the sheer idiocy of the writers.
Vatanim Sensin - I am in it only for the secondary OTP who continue to make me happy. The rest of the show doesn’t work for me at all, but it never has so that’s no surprise. It’s a show I never watch as it airs or in any medium I cannot just skip to my OTP scenes but with my method of watching, it’s one of the highlights of my viewing week.
Yasak Elma - my fluffy, adorable, mood-lifting darling. We are only five eps in, so it can always go off the rails but for now it just makes me happy.
