Kuchiki Byakuya: falling in love //part 1

Fandom: Bleach

Byakuya might ignore having a crush on you for a while. One might think that it would be relatively easy since you're not a shinigami, but one of Ichigo's many strange friends from the Living World.

It isn't.

Both because Ichigo is a frequent guest of Soul Society and you often visit along with him, and because even after you leave, Byakuya's mind can't let go of the few interactions you've had, or the words spoken between the two of you.

Byakuya would think he's stealthy and hides his feelings well, but people close to him, like Rukia, would immediately notice something was up. She wouldn't outright tease him, but there would be a few instances of her bringing you up in a conversation or taking you to the mansion for whatever made-up reason.

After all, there isn't anything wrong in bringing a friend to your house to catch up and talk, right?

The shock on Byakuya's face when he walked on the two of you for the first time was adorable.

He never stayed long, though. Byakuya would only quickly say his greetings and continue on his way. Rukia noticed that his back was even straighter than usual and his walk unhurried, though.

Byakuya would enjoy the time he spends around you, and would be extremely polite throughout, but would be just as hesitant before officially inviting you anywhere. It would take months, and multiple attempts at matchmaking from Rukia and Renji to create a situation (bribes and mild threats of bodily harm might have been involved) where the two of you would be left alone for some time.

As alone as one can be, with them spying from around the corner, of course.

Byakuya has always been a man of a few words, but he was noticeably more talkative around you. Somehow, the conversation didn't feel forced and time passed quickly enough to surprise him.

The two of you spent a few hours walking around Seireitei, at some point also entering the Kuchiki mansion and meandering through the gardens. The flowers were blooming richly that year and it would be a shame to miss such a sight.

Byakuya drank it all in.

That was the evening when he, for the first time, realized how much he missed your presence once you were gone.

He thought of you while drinking late night tea, unable to sleep. The morning wasn't any better. He did his best to focus on the reports coming from the division, but instead couldn't move past the first few pages.

Once Byakuya realized he fell in love with you, and fell hard, he wouldn't change much in the way he spoke to you, but would definitely change some of his behavior.

The gifts he gave you would always be extremely thoughtful and artfully made. All the hours he spent wondering whether you'd like the next one would prove worth it the moment your face lit up. Byakuya's heart would melt if you looked back at him with joy in your eyes and the brightest smile imaginable.

He'd probably stop breathing if you gave him a little hug.

So the gifts continued, even when you said it was becoming too much.

Yes, he was thinking back to that hug a lot.

𝐒𝐇𝐔𝐍𝐒𝐔𝐈 𝐊𝐘𝐎𝐑𝐀𝐊𝐔.

♡ 𓈒 𓈒 ୨୧ 𝐘𝐎𝐔'𝐕𝐄 been married to Shunsui for years and the man absolutely adores your cat ears and tail! He thinks it’s the cutest thing he’s ever seen. He tends to have a hard time keeping his hands off your tail because it was so soft to touch and your reaction when he tugged on it was priceless.

♡ 𓈒 𓈒 ୨୧ 𝐒𝐇𝐔𝐍𝐒𝐔𝐈 watched as your tail swayed back and forth, the man was trying his best not to pet it. He watched as you continued to snore peacefully on his chest. "Eh…they won’t notice." He spoke to himself while his hand reached for your f/c tail that was wrapped around your waist. Your silky fur making contact with his rough hands caused you to purr into his chest. Shunsui dragged his fingers down slowly until he wrapped his entire hand around the tail and gave it a light tug. After tugging on the fur your head immediately shot up along with your ears and tail as your fierce e/c eyes started to glare into his soul. "Sorry sweets, I didn’t know." He put his hands up in a surrendering manner, which caused you to hiss and use your sharp nails to rip the sleeve off his captain’s coat. "I–I said sorry!"

♡ 𓈒 𓈒 ୨୧ 𝐂𝐔𝐃𝐃𝐋𝐄𝐒 with him were the best! You and he would always get into trouble from the constant napping and slacking off from work. There would be times when Nanao would have to split you both up so Shunsui could get his work done. Which didn’t work but was worth a try.

♡ 𓈒 𓈒 ୨୧ 𝐖𝐇𝐄𝐍 cuddling, he likes to run his hands through your hair and brush them against your ear, which causes you to let out a faint purring sound. Every time you purr, his heart never fails to swell up.

♡ 𓈒 𓈒 ୨୧ 𝐇𝐄 goes through hell and back to cut your nails. By the time he’s done, he already has multiple scratches across his face and chest. But you make it up to him by patching the countless scratches he had. After that, you’ll nuzzle your head into his neck as he holds you; he couldn’t be angry with you even if he tried.

♡ 𓈒 𓈒 ୨୧ 𝐇𝐄 has plenty of marks on his neck from when you bite him when you get jealous. The number of times you’ve hissed at women for staring at your husband was mind-boggling. Whenever one disappears, you add a new one, you disregard sharing, no one can have him.

♡ 𓈒 𓈒 ୨୧ 𝐒𝐈𝐍𝐂𝐄 you become bored easily, he would take you out to the garden and let you play around in there until he was done with his work. After that, he’ll find you asleep in the grass with a flower in your mouth and a bird in your hand.

♡ 𓈒 𓈒 ୨୧ 𝐒𝐇𝐔𝐍𝐒𝐔𝐈 would be lying if he said he didn’t find your behavior interesting. He thought it was cute when your knuckles kneaded into his back, he believed that you were giving him a massage but it turns out you were showing your love and contentment to him. <3 He also found it cute when you bump your head against his or rub your cheeks against his to show affection. Not to mention how you wait at the door for him to come back when he sent on tasks.

♡ 𓈒 𓈒 ୨୧ 𝐒𝐇𝐔𝐍𝐒𝐔𝐈 sighed and made his way back to his office. "I’m so tired." He muttered as he opened the door, and without paying attention, he tripped over something—no, someone. As he rubbed his head, he looked over his shoulder to see you curled into a ball in front of the door. "Were they waiting for me?" He scratched his cheek as he crawled towards your sleeping body. His eyes soften at your sleeping state. Every time he leaves, you always take a nap to make time go by faster. "Kitty, I'm back." His hand petted your hair as you opened one of your eyes, which dilated at the sight of your husband. "Shu!" You jumped into his arms as he fell back from his sudden actions. "Were you waiting for me?" He sat up with you on his lap. You nodded your head quickly and bumped your head against his cheek affectionately, saying, "Mhmm, I didn’t know you were going to be gone for that long." Your ears flattened, and you kissed his lips. Shunsui felt an arrow strike him through the heart at your ears. "I’m sorry! I didn’t know either! I love you so much, kitty!" Crocodile tears left his eyes as he held onto you tightly, not letting go any time soon.

𝐁𝐘𝐀𝐊𝐔𝐘𝐀 𝐊𝐔𝐂𝐇𝐈𝐊𝐈.

♡ 𓈒 𓈒 ୨୧ 𝐁𝐘𝐀𝐊𝐔𝐘𝐀 had a love and hate relationship with your cat–like behavior, made because it reminded him of someone familiar. But he loves you either way; you make him so happy that words can’t explain it.

♡ 𓈒 𓈒 ୨୧ 𝐇𝐄 loves when you visit him during captain's duties. He couldn’t count how many times you fell asleep on his chest without him noticing. He always tried to move you, but the sound of your light purring made it hard for him.

♡ 𓈒 𓈒 ୨୧ 𝐇𝐄 would get the best chefs to cook your favorite fish-based meals. Oh, he loved it when your eyes lit up at the sight of the delicious food the chefs made for you.

♡ 𓈒 𓈒 ୨୧ "𝐖𝐀𝐇! I can’t believe all of this is for me!" Your eyes sparkled at the sight of the buffet. Byakyua's eyes softened when you wrapped your arms around his neck to give him multiple kisses. "The best for you only, dear." He reached his hand out to pet your f/c ears, which caused you nuzzle you cheek into his even more. "Ah! I love you Byakyua!" You grinned at your husband who chuckled silently and picked up the chopsticks for you. This was the most excited he’s ever seen you. "I love you as well."

♡ 𓈒 𓈒 ୨୧ 𝐓𝐇𝐈𝐒 man also spoils you to the point of no return. Is that what you want? He'll buy it before you know it. If anything reminds him of you then better believe he's going to buy it! When you tell him that he doesn't have to buy all the things for you, he will immediately ignore you and go to buy something else for you.

♡ 𓈒 𓈒 ୨୧ 𝐘𝐎𝐔 and he would spend most of your nights discussing the most randomized things. Like do you prefer to be a snail or worm? (Byakyua says snail). However, some of the questions you have asked him have put him into a deep reflection.

♡ 𓈒 𓈒 ୨୧ "𝐖𝐎𝐔𝐋𝐃 you rather spend the rest of your life with no legs or no arms?" "Simple, no arms." "But—" "Never-mind, I need my arms to use my sword. So no legs." "But then again…"

♡ 𓈒 𓈒 ୨୧ 𝐇𝐄 enjoys playing hide and seek with you! The sound of your laughter brings him happiness as he pretended not to see you hiding in plain sight.

♡ 𓈒 𓈒 ୨୧ "𝐈 wonder where could they be?" Byakyua spoke out and began to scratch his chin. You watched as the man continued to look around the room for you as you hid under the table and held your hand over your mouth so you wouldn’t give up your hiding space. "I guess they’re in the next room? I need to take a look." He spoke again, then walked to the door. Once you heard the door open and close you slowly peeked your head from under the table, before you could make a move a hand grabbed the back of your shirt. Your husband's familiar scent caused you to sink into his grip. "Byakyua?! How did you find me?" You cried at your husband as he smiled at your behaviour. "I overheard you the moment I opened the door. It seems like you don’t have the ability to withhold your laughter." He laughed at how you were sulking, with your ears were flatting. "Not fair! Let’s play another round!"

𝐊𝐈𝐒𝐔𝐊𝐄 𝐔𝐑𝐀𝐇𝐀𝐑𝐀.

♡ 𓈒 𓈒 ୨୧ 𝐓𝐇𝐈𝐒 guy is the ultimate cat lover, so imagine his reaction when he sees someone with cat ears and a tail! He couldn’t keep his hands off you even if he tried, just the sight of your f/c ears perking up and your tail swaying can make him swoon in an instant.

♡ 𓈒 𓈒 ୨୧ 𝐇𝐄’𝐒 extremely clingy and loving once it came to you. Once he wrap his arms around you for some cuddle time it was hard for him to let go, not that you mind or anything.

♡ 𓈒 𓈒 ୨୧ "𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐑𝐄 they are." Yoruichi sighed and pinched the bridge of her nose at the couple snoozing on the couch. She knew something wasn't right when you didn't show up at practice like you said. Once she found you, she found you lying on the couch with your lover. "Huh? Yoruichi! What are you doing here?" Kisuke rubbed his eyes as the brown-skinned woman tried her hardest not to punch the shit out of him. This wasn’t his first time holding you back from training because he wanted to ‘cuddle’. "I’ve come to see Y/n, only to find out they’re here. With you." She glared at him as he scratched the back of his neck.

♡ 𓈒 𓈒 ୨୧ 𝐇𝐄 spends his free time building cardboard forts for you. The amount of time he spends on the fort is amazing, and by the time he’s done it’s the same size as a castle.

♡ 𓈒 𓈒 ୨୧ 𝐒𝐈𝐍𝐂𝐄 this man was a bit of a pervert then, so he would often buy revealing clothes for his eyes solely. And when you try them on he’ll get you to do a spin, which makes him a bit aroused. The way the fabric hugged your body and the bell around your neck makes him want to pounce on you.

♡ 𓈒 𓈒 ୨୧ 𝐇𝐀𝐒 an obsession with your thighs! When he sees you from a distance, his eyes are immediately directed at your thighs. It's one of his favorite places to put his head, and he wouldn't mind if you smothered it. As long as he died between your thighs.

♡ 𓈒 𓈒 ୨୧ 𝐇𝐄 loves to laugh at you with the help of a laser pointer. He thinks it's the funniest thing in the world when you leap from wall to wall to grab the red dot. He also owns these feather toys so you can concentrate on him when you're not paying attention to him.

♡ 𓈒 𓈒 ୨୧ 𝐂𝐀𝐋𝐋𝐒 you kitten constantly, there would times where he forgot your name because of the constant usage of the pet name. You’ve seemed to earn the name because you could shrink and turn into a kitten. Which causes Kisuke to carry your little body around all day in his pocket. <3 Often checks his pocket to see if you’re still in there.

♡ 𓈒 𓈒 ୨୧ "𝐀𝐑𝐄 you okay in there, kitten?" Kisuke checked his pocket once more to see if his lover was still in there, he didn’t want to drop and lose you again. Your sharp e/c eyes opened and meowed loudly while using your paw to cover your eyes from the sunlight making its way in. "Ah, I’m sorry kitten." Kisuke chuckled at your adorable behavior you couldn’t talk in your cat form so he learned how to read your gestures and meows. Right now you were telling him to close his pocket and stop letting the sunlight in. You meowed once more as Kisuke scratched his cheek, "No need to curse now!"

𝐔𝐑𝐘𝐔 𝐈𝐒𝐇𝐈𝐃𝐀.

♡ 𓈒 𓈒 ୨୧ 𝐔𝐑𝐘𝐔 was the sweetest when it came to you. He thought you were the most valuable thing he ever had. Just thinking of you, his heart can melt in a few seconds. Every morning, he called you so you could prepare for school on the phone. He just wanted you to shrink so he could carry you for the whole day <3.

♡ 𓈒 𓈒 ୨୧ 𝐇𝐄 couldn't count on his fingers or his toes the many times he lost you because you went to take a nap somewhere. He remembered vividly how he panicked when he realized you weren’t by his side anymore, it felt like he lost a pair of diamond earrings in the ocean when he lost you. But with help from Ichigo, Orihime and Chad, they found you lying in a tree near his home.

♡ 𓈒 𓈒 ୨୧ "𝐂𝐀𝐋𝐌 down Uryu! We’re going to find them." Ichigo deadpanned at the teenager who checked under every pebble in the park while mumbling curses under his breath. "Shut up!" He snapped at the orange-haired male who glared at him before rolling his eyes. He’s never saw Uryu so upset over something before. "Where was the last time you saw them?" Chad watched as Uryu climb tree to tree looking for you. "When we were walking back from school! I looked away for one minute and they were gone!" Uryu exclaimed as Orihime helped check tree after tree. Orihime tilted her head at the foot hanging out of the tree, she walked closer and closer only to see you snoozing in the tree while wearing your boyfriend’s jacket. "I found them!" Orihime pointed to the tree as Uryu traveled quicker than the speed of light. "How did they even get up there?" Ichigo gazed into the tree at your sleeping body. "It’s not important! Now help me get them down."

♡ 𓈒 𓈒 ୨୧ 𝐎𝐍 the weekends he does nothing but spend the day snuggling up in bed with you, with a book in one hand while the other scratching your ears continuously. But once you crawl on top of him he would quickly put the book to the side so he can cuddle you properly.

♡ 𓈒 𓈒 ୨୧ 𝐔𝐑𝐘𝐔 didn’t want you to lift a finger, which explained why he did almost everything for you. From tying your shoes to carrying you around the building. Plenty of people found your relationship adorable, considering they never thought of seeing someone like Uryu carrying someone around school the entire day!

♡ 𓈒 𓈒 ୨୧ 𝐋𝐈𝐊𝐄 Byakyua, he’ll spoil you endlessly. Since you’ve became his lover he made you his number one priority and brought you everything you wanted. Did you want that new scratching post? He’ll buy it with no thoughts behind it. Seeing you happy was more important than anything in the world.

♡ 𓈒 𓈒 ୨୧ 𝐖𝐇𝐄𝐍 he’s busy with hollows and what not he leaves your favorite toys around and plays your favorite music that puts you to sleep in an instant. Once he comes come he’ll see you sleeping with a pillow against your chest, wishing it was him instead.

♡ 𓈒 𓈒 ୨୧ 𝐇𝐄 makes the cutest clothes for you! Not to mention he loves making cute matching hats for you during winter, the look on his face when he sees you wearing his designs always made you laugh. Almost everything in your closet was made by Uryu, when people asked where it was from you always said your boyfriend made it for you. <3

♡ 𓈒 𓈒 ୨୧ "𝐀𝐑𝐄 they . . . matching?" Ichigo poimted at the couple who wore the same hat along with the same jacket. Orihime eyes sparkled at the sight, she considered you and Uryu to be the cutest couple in the school. "Ah! Look at L/n–san’s ears! Do you see them?" Orihime pointed at your ears poking from the hat because your ears Uryu cut two holes in the fabric so your hair wouldn't have to struggle and be kept away. "Here you go, my love." Uryu passed the hot chocolate to you with your eyes lighting up. Uryu eyes softened at your lovable behavior, "Thank you Uryu!" You took a sip of the warm chocolate drink as Uryu’s cheeks heated up slightly. "It’s no big deal, I only get the best for you."

Byakuya Kuchiki was a vision of moonlight and stardust, a noble figure in all his finery. He stood tall, as though his kenseikan weighed him down with the heavy burden of honor and duty he bore. His skin glowed like polished ivory in the pale light of the Soul Society and his eyes shone brighter than any star even when casted to the ground the mortals walked.

You were the one person that could make him feel something he hadn't felt in such a long time; joy. He finally felt like he belonged somewhere and that was with you. Every day filled with laughter, smiles and love replaced the dullness of his life before. With you, he didn't have to be alone anymore and for once in his life, it felt like everything was going to be alright.

Time flew by and soon everyone around you knew that the you were meant for each other. You two started making plans for their future, wanting to build a life together that would be full of love, laughter and joy. Both of you were sure this was what you wanted.

Byakuya wanted to marry you. He had never felt more sure of anything in his life. He knew that as long as you were by his side, he could face anything the world might throw at him. He wanted to show his love for you in a way that would last forever, so he asked your father for permission to marry you.

Your father was a quiet man but nevertheless, he could see the depth of Byakuya's love and care for you and gave him his blessing.

Byakuya made sure everything was perfect before asking you to marry him. Byakuya Kuchiki, resplendent in the noble regalia of the Kuchikis, was going to ask you to marry him on March 13, the first day of the Cherry blossom season for the world of the living.

On that fateful day, Byakuya finally asked for your hand in marriage. You felt overwhelmed with emotion; it was clear to you that this man was truly devoted to you and would love and care for you forever.

Byakuya could see the joy radiating from your face as he took out a little box from his pocket, revealing a beautiful cherry blossom-shaped diamond ring. You smiled and without warning, tears started to stream down your face as you silently nodded in agreement.

The two of you were wed a few weeks later under the cherry blossoms. Despite the time constraints, Byakuya had put together a grand ceremony that was filled with wonder and joy. The newlyweds danced all night beneath the soft petals of the cherry blossoms.

Annoying (kuchiki byakuya x reader)

It has already been already been 3 years since you have privately dated Byakuya and your 4th year anniversary is coming in 4 days, you were both happy and sad. Even after it has been around 50 years since Hisana has died, he still hasn't moved on from her and you don't complain about that because ofc it is hard to move on from your first ever love. But it still hurts.

You are even surprised that you guys are actually in a relationship because it doesn't feels like you are in one. Not to be mentioned that you are the only on who has been putting all the effort in this relation till now. Though he acts like you're completely invisible. For example: if you saw him anywhere and then smile at him brightly and greet him, he would just walk past you without looking at you as if you were not there at all, when he is in his office you would always serve him tea and sit there in hope that there will be any progress between you two but then again you are completely ignored, and there were other so many times like this but you still ignored it and never told him that or complained because you were madly in love with him and didn't want him to leave.

As he is the captain of Squad 6 and the 28th head of the Kuchiki clan, one of the four Noble Clans of Soul Society he surely is busy, he has been over working himself past few days without any rest and as you are his girlfriend you ofc are worried about his health so you wanted him to rest. You as always walked into his office with a cup of tea in your hand and out it on his table, "Byakuya-san, i think you should take some break form your work right now you look so tired." he didn't even bothered looking at you "(y/n) shut up and let me work" "but you will get sic-" "SHUT UP WILL YOU!, you're not my wife and you are so annoying. Can't you just let me live in peace, just leave me alone and not interfere with my work, i know what is good for me and what is not. If only Hisana was here she would have understood all of this.", he told the last part in small voice but you stilled heard it. You could not believe what you have heard, what he told you, he called you annoying, tears started to form in your eyes threatening to fall anytime soon. This time it really hurt you. Quickly after you snapped that you deeply bowed at him "makotoni moushiwake-gozaimasen" then you take you leave.

If someone is dreaming of getting close to you, then it will be their last dream.

He has a very strong protective instinct and is out of control too so if he sees that you are feeling uncomfortable because of another guy who is messing with you he won't even stop to think, he goes for the fight.

Even if the guy tries to run away from him (because any sane person would run away from fighting someone like him), he will catch him and cut him into mincemeat.

You will have to intervene a lot of times for him to not go too far with the situation. He'll listen to you and sheathe his sword, unless he's in a bad mood because then there's nothing you can do.

He will always have his big strong arm around you so you're close to him and no idiot gets the excellent idea to mess with you.

Byakuya :

He is very civil in all situations, however you are a different case.

He's not really the type to show his concern with words but he sure does with actions and if someone messes with you, he'll act.

He'll walk up to you and ask if you're okay without taking his eyes off the guy who was bothering you.

He will be quick to get you out of that situation, he will hold your hand and take you away from that person.

If the situation lasts he will just use spiritual pressure to knock that person to the ground in seconds.

He will do anything not to attract attention, and besides, a nobleman must maintain his image.

Shunsui :

Shunsu is the true meaning of gentleman. He loves you and beyond telling you he will also show you.

He tries to resolve any issue with the least amount of effort as he is not one to get into big trouble.

If he sees that you are feeling uncomfortable because someone is bothering you, he will do his best to get that person away from you.

He will come up behind you and put an arm around your waist asking the guy if he needs anything from you.

Shunsui's presence turns out to be a little intimidating as he is tall and has a large build, but if the situation escalates he can approach that person and give a small warning and that will be enough.

He's not a person to warn too often and we know that if he has to get into a fight, he'll go all the way just to protect you.

It's not easy to do anything sneaky when Byakuya is involved but that makes the end result all the sweeter

He's such a guarded man, he never lets people get too close without him knowing they're there and you aren't an exception

This is definitely something that took many many tries to get done but each failure comes with a reward

It's not like he doesn't know what you're trying to do and he fines it so endearing

This small act, these constant attempts make his heart beat faster and his affection grow

The day you succeed in this surprise attack would also be the day he confessed his love to you

It truly is the sweetest reward and he's never been happier that you managed to get one over on him, even if it was just a simple kiss on the cheek

What started as a small but fun game now becomes a secret routine, if Byakuya is having a bad day you would sneak around and plant a soft kiss on his cheek before running off and he's never been happier

Grimmjow

It's not even a hard thing to do but know he won't let you escape once you commit to it

He always lets his guard down around you, you're trustable and he knows even if you tried to kill he'd win the fight

That also makes him the most prone to surprises as he doesn't expect you do anything weird

It would be such a simple thing, just a small thought that pops up when you're lounging around together

He's likely napping basking in the artificial sun and warmth while you gaze up at the clouds and enjoy this quite time you share

It's then that it happens, you lean over and just peck his cheek

Simple and straightforward, there was nothing special about it yet it set Grimmjow's heart ablaze

He rolls over and wraps his arms tightly together with some grumbling under his breath he presses heaps of kisses all over your face as payback and there you both stay, happy and silently in love

Ulquiorra

The nice and weird middle ground, he's not hard to surprise but it takes longer to understand for him

As is any kind of close relationship with this man is hard to form it would take a while for you to even think this was a safe thing to do

Once you get there though its smooth sailing and mostly easy to work around

He lets you just do what you want but know it will always end in questioning, he wants to learn more then anything

With that in mind actually surprising him is easy, you just need to run up and kiss his cheek before scampering away, he's left in a slight daze from the sudden affection

There will be a few beats of nothing before he simply walks off to go back to work or whatever he was doing before that

It won't get mentioned for days potentially and this might seem bad but that's just how this man is, he spends days mulling things over before asking about it

Once he's past the waiting faze you both have a big conversation about why you did it and what it means and after learning it's just another way you say you like him Ulquiorra will begin to do the same thing

Walking up to you just to peck your cheek and walk away again is just a part of his life now, it's easier, he finds, then saying how he feels

🩰 “How could they? How could they be that degenerate?” that’s exactly what he asks himself before discovering how hard he is. There is something about avoiding repression that gets Byakuya going. Not to mention how attracted he is to your face and how he imagines it tinted in pleasure expressions.

🩰 Every time his s/o makes some type of “kinky” commentary, every word reverberates inside of him hitting against “the barriers” he voluntarily choses to build. 🦢 He discovered that you were inexperienced way before you could even realize. All this time, he has only been playing dumb.

🦢 He in fact, will try to push your limits even further, even to the point where you could be publicly exposed for such “indecency”. Some sort of humiliating game that really, really gets him hard and drippy.

🦢 During one of those weekend gatherings, where captains, vicecaptains and soldiers get together to have some sake fill their veins, Gin pulled you closer to him. He remembers every word you said before coming, all the things you joke you wanted to do in the bathroom.

His long fingers, cold and bony, curled around your waist. He kept pulling you towards him, to the point you finally sit on his lap.

Bleach Men Taking Your Baby to the Grocery Store Headcanons

author's note: yes the premise is random but it's also very cute and perfectly in line with my recent onslaught of baby fever. also, the banners in this post were created by the always amazing @actuallysaiyan!! thank you for the gorgeous banners, babe! 🩷🩷🩷

pairings: kensei muguruma x reader, byakuya kuchiki x reader, grimmjow jaegerjaquez x reader, renji abarai x reader, ichigo kurosaki x reader

warnings: children ages 5 and younger and grimmjow's parenting lmao this is mostly fluff and some mischief mixed in from the babies

Kensei is definitely the tough parent of the two of you, and he relishes in that fact

But goddammit do those baby eyes make him waver

As he carries little Mila into the store, he tells her they're only there for necessities

No candy, no sugary cereals, only what you've tasked him to buy for dinner

Despite being only three and a half, however, Mila has a pretty good idea of how to get her way with Kensei

It's gotten slightly less effective since the pacifiers have been removed from her arsenal, but anything that cracks her dad's tough exterior is remarkable as is

It starts off innocently enough, though soon the way she sings her little song and bops her head around becomes rife with intent

"Daddy, can has hug?" She blinks up at him, holding her arms up

Either he's willfully choosing to fall into the trap, or Kensei is merely blind in the face of his precious girl

"Of course, baby." Kensei picks her up from the cart and kisses her wonderfully chubby cheek, leading the cart behind him as he continues through the store with Mila hooked on his hip

Mila curls up, humming as her eyes scan the shelves for something she wants

"Hold Momma's list for Daddy, okay?"

Mila's little fingers hold the list carefully, and soon Kensei is at a crossroad

"Broth. What kind of broth?" He mutters, fishing his cell phone from his pocket to call you

As usual, it turns into a bit of a squabbling match. He thinks remembering every little detail is silly, and you think you've made this dish so many times he should know you need chicken broth

Kensei is sufficiently annoyed by the time the phone call ends, and Mila strikes then

"Daddy, can has kiss?"

"Yes, baby." She gets a kiss on either cheek, and the kiss she gives his cheek right back is just about the final nail in the coffin

With Kensei holding her, she's able to reach the shelf and snag a little box of animal crackers

"Daddy, can has this?"

Played by the fucking toddler again!! That's three times this week!

"... Don't tell your brothers." Kensei sighs, hanging his head in shame

It's not all bad though; he does get another sweet kiss from his princess

Byakuya is a strict but ultimately fair father

Little Jasmine has grown up under his watchful eye, though through that she's certainly learned just how many of his limits she can press and how to get around them

Going to the grocery store is rare, and even more so if you're not present for the journey

But it's vacation time, and you're busy setting up the cabin for your family's stay, so Byakuya has been tasked with gathering enough groceries to make it through dinner and the morning's breakfast

Byakuya holds Jasmine’s hand and they walk inside together, Byakuya using a tissue to pick up one of the small hand baskets. There's no telling the last time this thing has been sanitized!

“What would you like for dinner tonight?” Byakuya asks the five year old, and Jasmine hums thoughtfully

How can she end the first day of this vacation with a delicious banana split?

Appealing to her father's tastes will increase the likelihood of success, and her father is quite fond of spicy foods…

“Can we have curry?”

The light in his eyes isn't missed by the girl, and she can practically taste an ice cream sundae with a waffle bowl already

“You're becoming more accustomed to spices, I see.” Byakuya hums and begins to survey the store's offerings, whereas Jasmine is mentally preparing her list for dessert

“Daddy?” Jasmine dials up the sweetness in her tone while Byakuya examines the various cuts of chicken on display

“Yes?” He hums

“Can we have a treat tonight?”

“What sort of treat?”

“A surprise treat. Please, Daddy?”

Byakuya pauses. He's no fan of sweets, and in general sugar is limited in the Kuchiki household

But she did say please

“Mm… I suppose.”

Byakuya doesn't meet your eyes when he and Jasmine return from the store with more ingredients for ice cream sundaes than dinner and breakfast combined

He is such a sucker, but he's happy to be played when he receives his banana split with a chocolate syrup drawing of his beloved Wakame Taishi from his darling daughter

Renji tries his best to be a strict father, but his determination wavers frequently. He wanted for many things as a child, and as a parent he doesn't wish to push that same feeling on his child as long as he's capable of providing a warm, loving home

Not to mention, that damn two year is old is just so cute it makes his heart melt at the mere sight of the toddler

“C’mon, honey, gotta get some soup for Mommy.” Renji murmurs as he carefully takes little Rin from his car seat, carrying him into the store on his hip

“Why?” is Rin’s favorite question right now, and Renji’s eye twitches a bit

“Because her tummy is upset.”

“Why?”

“... I don't know.”

“Why?”

“I don't know!”

“Why?”

Renji gently pinches his son's lips between his fingers. “Shhh… Quiet time.”

But of course, the moment he lets go, Rin is back at it again

“Why?”

“Because now Daddy has a headache.”

Rin, as gently as he can while simultaneously not managing much grace in the act, pats his father's sunglasses that sit atop his head

“All bedder?”

Renji's lip practically wobbles at the sweetness. “Yes, Daddy's all better. Thank you, sweetie.”

Rin rests his head against his father, playing with the Renji’s chain while he surveys all of the varieties of soup, Renji occasionally pulling the chain away from the baby's open mouth

Rin whines after his third attempt to eat the necklace, so Renji quickly grabs the first can of chicken noodle soup he sees and makes a dash for the checkout. No baby meltdowns in public, for the love of God

Renji gently bounces the baby, pleading softly with him to calm down. It's not working very well, however, and these damn checkout lines aren't moving at all!

Desperation wins and Renji's grabbing a lollipop before he knows it, tearing the wrapping off and popping the sucker into Rin’s teeny mouth

His plan to calm the baby works, and by the time he's actually able to check out and purchase the soup, the small pop is already gone and the tantrum is starting to blossom again

And just as Renji gets the baby strapped back into his carseat, he checks his phone to see a text you sent twenty minutes ago that practically sends his eyes popping out of his skull

Can you pick up a pregnancy test too?

He glances over at the toddler, and can practically see the boy as a big brother already

Even with a fussy baby in round two of the long lines, Renji's smile doesn't waver and he just kisses and coos at the hopefully soon-to-be big brother

Grimmjow is an interesting parent. Much like how every day with a four year old is a mystery, every day with Grimmjow is a deep dive into the unknown

So when sending the man and his mini-me to the grocery store, you're not quite sure what they're going to come home with. Hopefully it at least includes the items on the list, otherwise dinner is going to be very different from what you've planned

“Oi, keep up!” Grimm looks over his shoulder, the four year old having been distracted by a vending machine

“Want snack.”

“Too bad. Let's go.”

The toddler’s stare is a little too lead paint-y for Grimmjow's liking

“Zen.” Grimmjow looks on, unimpressed as he fishes a coin from his pocket. “Fine, brat. You win, you get a snack. I win, I get a snack.”

That gets the boy to smile, clapping his hands as he jumps in excitement

Grimmjow smirks. “Heads I win, tails you lose.”

The coin is flipped off of Grimmjow's thumb and he catches it easily, Zen waiting with bated breath for the results. Does Daddy win or does he lose??

Grimm sucks his teeth, shaking his head and tucking the quarter back into his pocket. “Heads I win. Tough luck, kid. Maybe next time.”

Zen pouts, watching his father slip a dollar into the vending machine and press the buttons for a honey bun. “Aw man…”

“C’mon.” Grimmjow opens up the snack, taking a big bite and grabbing the front of Zen’s coat, carrying him inside of the store like a handbag

The boy can't help but giggle as he looks up at his father; he loves air jail!

“You're in jail. Stop laughing, fuckin’ psycho.” Grimm shakes his son a bit, hiding his own laughter into the next bite of his honey bun. He's a hardass, but that baby's laugh is precious and melts him like ice cream on a sunny day

Heads turn at the way Grimmjow carries Zen, but Grimm is highly unbothered by such judgment. His kid is happy and healthy, and anyone that thinks otherwise can kiss his ass, for all he cares

“You got the list?” Grimm looks down at Zen, the boy fishing out the neatly-folded post-it note you lovingly tucked into his jacket pocket

Grimmjow perks a brow as he reads off the ingredients you've listed. “Say, kid—” he looks down at his son. “Whaddya say we ditch the list and get some pizza instead?”

Zen claps happily at the idea and Grimm grins menacingly, crushing up the grocery list and tossing it on the floor as he hoists his boy over his shoulder, stuffing the last bite of the honey bun in his baby's mouth whilst flipping off a scandalized woman at the checkouts

Growing up with two younger sisters was good for something after all, Ichigo thinks as he wrangles his twin girls through the parking lot with relative ease

The three year olds are stubborn and independent, having insisted they walk instead of having daddy carry them! But they still want to hold his hands, of course

why no he is not melting like a lava cake, why do you ask?

The girls gasp at the sight of a shopping cart with a racecar on the end that's the perfect size for two little ones!

“We don't even need a cart.” Ichigo deadpans, though it's in one ear and out the other as the babies pile into the little racecar, turning the steering wheels and beeping the (thankfully noiseless) horns

He feels like an idiot but as the dutiful father he is, Ichigo complies with his girls’ wishes and pushes the cart into the store

Chubby fingers point as little voices call out for candies and trinkets, and Ichigo's quick with each of his responses

“No.”

“I said no.”

“No ma'am!”

He's definitely cleaning their ears out when they get home, because clearly they can't hear him! Why else would they ask for things a million times over, hm?

“Daddy always say no.” Indigo pouts, her sister nodding in agreement. All they want is some candy!! Why is Daddy so mean?

Ichigo sighs in frustration as the aisle he needs to go down is absolutely packed, and he's stuck with this behemoth of a shopping cart. Settling it at the end of the aisle, he kneels down to make eye contact with the girls

“Stay put; I’ll be right back.”

Ichigo quickly rushes down the aisle, weaving between people to get to the pasta section

Now… If only he could remember what shape of pasta you told him to buy

Indigo and Imani look at each other, covering their mouths to hide their mischievous giggles

Those Push Pops they were eyeing are still nearby, and Daddy isn't!

As the tag team they are, Indigo and Imani spring into action, Indigo rushing to get the candy while Imani (who turns up the cuteness to a ten!) rushes down the aisle to her father

Ichigo frowns and picks up Imani, scolding her for leaving the cart

It isn't exactly effective, however, as the baby eyes and the cooing let her off the hook easily

When they get back to the cart after Ichigo remembers which pasta you've requested, he sets Imani back into the racecar

Indigo slips a blue Push Pop into her twin's hand, the two of them sharing a conspiratorial smile

They almost get away with it too, though when Ichigo's strapping them into their car seats he notices the lollipops

“Stop stealing!!!!”

These girls will surely be the reason he takes medication for his blood pressure, and he dreads the day when they become teenagers!

Kuchiki Byakuya: types of kisses

Fandom: Bleach

Byakuya prefers to keep affection in private, both because of his own preferences and because of the way he has been raised as a clan head. There are countless rules he has to follow in his daily life, and they only get more complicated the more serious he becomes about a relationship.

Because of his position as a squad captain and a clan head, it is not proper for him to even admit being in a relationship with someone outside of the aristocratic clans of Soul Society. It's viewed as a dishonor to the Kuchiki bloodline and legacy.

Therefore, since he's already considered a disappointment in the eyes of the elderly, there's nothing stopping Byakuya from disappointing them further. The damage is already done, because he has no intention of letting you go. He might as well enjoy the ride.

Still, Byakuya feels too shy to engage in something heated under the scrutiny of strangers’ eyes. Whenever the two of you are in public, which basically consists of everywhere outside of Byakuya's personal apartments at the Kuchiki manor, he’ll be extremely stoic and almost indifferent to you most of the time. The most you can get from him are feather-light brushes of his hand over yours or the gentle but tender kiss on top of your palm.

It's still more than the clan aristocracy can handle, but their protests land on deaf ears.

If only Byakuya felt more comfortable with public displays of affection, he'd engage in them more often. He loves you, and enjoys every aspect of you - if it was up to him, he'd always touch you in one way or another.

Throughout the day, Byakuya usually only kisses you on the cheek or the crown of your head when he walks past. It soon becomes almost a habit, and he's overjoyed when you start returning the favor.

He's often busy with all the paperwork and has little time to spare during the day to be with you. That's why he appreciates it so much when you choose to sit quietly with him in the room, taking care of your own work, reading or resting. There are plenty of servants in the Kuchiki manor, but he appreciates it when you decide to brew fresh tea or bring him fruits and snacks. He always plants a kiss over your hands.

Byakuya is more open when he's out of the public eye, and is more willing to take things further. When the two of you are alone, Byakuya will take his time running his fingers over the sensitive skin of your jaw and neck. He tilts your chin up slightly to face him, and marvels at the way your eyelids always flutter in that moment.

His kiss is almost a brush of lips over yours at first, but he's a master of asking for permission with every movement and stroke. It'll turn heated before you realize you're gasping for breath and clinging to his clothes. His hands hold onto you with just as much need, grounding you when you feel lightheaded.

Byakuya doesn't like when you depart, whether on a mission or back to the world of the living. He always makes sure to see you leave and parts with a kiss. He's gentle and considerate, and you can feel him already longing for the moment you're back.

He cups your face and looks into your eyes with sadness shining in his own. He understands the reasons why you have to leave and doesn't stop you. The kiss isn't long, but it takes you breath away with how much it encompasses.

He thought you looked beautiful, from your milky white eyes to your old scars from the battles before. He still remembered the ugly looks in the faces of the elders when he made the announcement. They were upset about the fact that you were a blind man with darker skin. The number of insults he received from their lips boiled his blood. You were his husband, not there’s. How can they say that you weren't good enough? You were the perfect match for him.

“Sorry, you just. . .keep me so happy!” You leaned your back against his chest as he kept guiding you towards the room. Byakuya's eyes softened from your behavior, even after losing your eyesight, you were still the same optimistic man he had fallen in love with. “You make me happy as well, I love you.” He pressed lips against your cheek and another one on your temple. He liked the way you gave him butterflies, the feeling of warmth in his chest was truly a delightful feeling. “We’re here.” He announced as your smile grew wider. The smell of your favourite meal blended with your favorite flowers led you to wrap your arms around your husband's neck. “Happy Anniversary, my love.” He kissed both scars under your eyes before kissing your lips with passion. The tears gathering up your eyes made him wipe them away and kissed under your eyes once more.

“Happy Anniversary.” You held his hands while they continued to wipe the tears from your face. Ever since you first met him, he's been so sweet and patient with you. The night the doctor told you it wasn't a remedy for your blindness was the same night your heart broke. That night you cried to the point of no return, with Byakuya holding you against his chest. Your heartbroken sobs made him tighten his grip each time, he didn’t care if you soaked his nightwear with snot and tears. Byakuya nearly cried with you, he just wanted you to be happy and know you weren't alone. He even felt his heart break in half when you said you were completely unless and were no longer fit to be his husband. He couldn't stand seeing you so broken, and from that moment on, he swore he would never let you be sad again.

“Come, before the food gets cold.” He took your hand and started walking towards the Kotatsu. The delicious smell of food did your mouth water non-stop. “Ah! It smells amazing darling!” Your husband passed you the chopsticks and placed the bowl directly in front of you so you wouldn’t have to struggle on searching for the object. “It took me a long time, but I've finally mastered the recipe, I hope you enjoy it.” He looked as you placed the chopstick in your mouth with your eyes slightly shining afterwards. The way the flavours melted onto your tongue nearly put you in a food coma. “This is incredible, Byakuya! You are the best chef.” You ate with him chuckling at your loveable demeanor. He refused to allow someone else to cook for you, he was the only one to cook for you. The elders didn't like you, so he didn't trust them to look after your meals when he wasn't there. Which explains why he made a lifetime supply of your favourite dishes for when he's busy with his captain duties.

He didn't know why, but he loved it when you depended solely on him and nobody else. He would do anything for you if he were able. He adored the fact that nobody was capable of coming into your life and taking his place. The idea of someone withstanding him by getting close to you wished nothing but a mere death wish. Since you lost your sight, he has become extremely protective over you, he trusted no one but Rukia or Renji to be close to you. He often had nightmares about losing you permanently because he wasn't there with you or wasn't strong enough to defend you. He couldn’t lose you, not after everything you both been through.

“Thank you for the food darling!” You shook your hands together and crawled to your husband who still hasn't touched his food, as he was too busy being consumed by his thoughts. “You’re welcome, my dove. I’m glad you enjoyed it.” He placed the bowl down and pulled you into his lap, with his head nuzzling against your neck. The cozy silence caused you to hum a soft tune as Byakuya rocked back and forth, the familiar melody making him hum along with you. “Byakuya, do we still have that record player?” Your fingers played with his hands as he nodded in agreement. Byakuya doesn’t remember the last time he used it, considering the fact you both didn’t have the time use it anymore.

“Can you play our favourite song? Please?” You poked your lips out to the black haired male who chuckled before moving you off his lap to recover the player. After retrieving the item, he looked into the box for the familiar cover until he grabbed it from the corner of his eye. “There it is.” He removed the cover of the vinyl and blew the dust off. Once he put the vinyl into the player the music started playing softly, the familiar sound made him smile gently. It was the same record you played when you two announced you were now husbands. He couldn’t forget the way you danced with his hands intertwined with yours while cracking up like a small child who discovered happiness for the first time.

“Byakuya! Or should I say, my dear hubby! Let’s dance!” You pulled on the hand of the Kuchiki. Deciding he couldn't tell you no, Byakuya took your hand with his and put the other one on your waist. As he swayed your body, the moonlight started to shine on your face, revealing the multiple marks of beauty he loved so much. Byakuya felt nothing but joy when you were with him, after the death of his wife, he was afraid that he would never discover love again. But you showed up, made him fall in love again. He was so concerned he couldn't find the right woman when he didn't need a wife. “You look great this evening.” He murmured into your ear before he kissed your cheek.

“Thank you for this dance, Byakuya. But I don't think I remember it well.” You grinned when he put his hand on your waist and the other in your other hand. “It's okay, take it slow and follow my hands.” He pulled you closer and kissed your forehead. After stumbling a few times you finally got ahold of the beat, “I finally got it!” You took your hand from him and wrapped it around his neck. No matter how often this happened, Byakuya could not explain the blooming sensation in his chest even if he tried. The classical music playing in the background and how the moonlight shone over your soft eyes made you look like an angel.

“I love you so much, I'm so glad you're my husband.” He kissed your forehead once more. He had no idea how blessed he became to have somebody like you in the world. You were the light that shined through his darkness, you were the sun and he was the moon. “Hm, I love you as well. I don’t know what I’ll do without you.” You pecked his lips, the day you went blind was the day Byakuya left everything behind and helped you get back on your feet. He helped you heighten your other senses and got you out of your depressive state. Without him, you would’ve been miserable or dead.

Byakuya didn’t say anything after that, instead, he continued to hold you in his arms while you both slowly danced in the dark.

The sound of your angelic whining was the only thing Byakuya could hear when he placed sweet open-mouthed kisses on your neck, with his groin rubbing against yours. The burning sensation in your cheeks and the swelling in your throat prevented you from breathing correctly. “B–Byakuya.” You ran your hands through his silky black hair. The intense pleasure that ran through your body made your head go completely hazy. “Please, let me pleasure you, my dove.” His breath fanned against your lips. He had no recollection of the last time you had sex, but the thought of hearing those heavenly noises from your lips aroused him. He didn't remember the last time he heard the noises, which is why he was so eager to have make love to you.

The man with black hair fondled your cheek before putting his lips on yours, with his tongue pushing them with ease. The light taste of mint was the first thing he could taste as the hot muscle ran through your mouth. While keeping you distracted his hand made its way past your nightwear and into your underwear. The cold hand on your member snapped you out of your thoughts. “Shh, don’t worry. I’ll be gentle.” He cooed in your ear at when you tried to push his hand away from your private area. All night long, you only felt pleasure after spending your anniversary with your husband.

Hey! I was wondering if you would do a headcanon for the lieutenants and captains for the kind of hugs they give.

Jushiro Ukitake: The calmest, warmest hug to ever exist. He wraps you up in his arms, cradling the back of your head and just comforts you in a way that is out of this world. A hand rubbing up and down the long of your back, his head near your ear, soft, warm breaths hitting your earlobe.

Shunsui Kyoraku: He hugs you in a loving way, but he's a little cheeky and mischievous with it. Strong, muscular arms wrapping around your body and pulling you into his chest. Placing a soft kiss on your forehead as his hand runs down the curve of your back to your ass, squeezing the flesh.

Byakuya Kuchiki: His hugs are like a crispy, chill afternoon. He won't show affection or hug you in the public, but if it’s just the two of you, it's a different story. Arms gently wrapped around your waist, squeezing you every once in a while. His chin resting on top of your head, holding you in such a caring way. It's relaxing and refreshing to have Byakuya holding you.

Kenpachi Zaraki: At first, his hugs at first are like a porcupines needles, but then they are smooth like the back of a whale, so strong and powerful, but yet, calming and not overwhelming. He knows his strength, so he knows how tight to hold you. It's comforting how tight he can hold you and he runs his hand over your head, gripping the back of your neck. He complains when you ask for a hug, but it makes him the happiest man in the world.

Shinji Hirako: He's super greedy with it comes to hugging. He'll squeeze you until you can't breath and are squirming against his body, trying to get out of his tight grip. Seriously though, when he hugs, he can't get enough of you. He'll breathe in your scent and have his arms wrapped around you so damn tight. Shinji will squeeze your flesh and even tickle you and hold you so you can't escape from his tickles.

Toshiro Hitsugaya: His hugs are a little complicated. At first, he'll be cold and shoot you a sharp glare when you ask for a hug. Although, Toshiro cannot resist a hug from you and he caves in. He wraps his arms around your waist and holds you, muttering underneath his breath about how he doesn't like this. You laugh because you know that he does like hugging you, but he doesn't like how vulnerable it makes him. He'll place a kiss on your forehead before fully pulling away from the hug.

Mayuri Kurotsuchi: He won't deny you a hug, but he might tease you about it for a little. He laughs like a manic and grabs onto your shoulders, pulling you onto his lap. He's probably stuck in his lab when you ask him for a hug and he refuses to leave his hard work, so he just places you on his lap and multitasks. He'll stroke your hair or rub your back, typing on his keyboard and clicking on the mouse. He enjoys these quiet moments with you.

Kensei Muguruma: His hugs are firm and his big beefy biceps squeeze you 😩 (what i wouldn't do to have my head being squeezed in his bicep...ahem) The smile that grows across his face is huge as he pulls you into his big chest for a hug. He loves hugging you and especially if you're sad or something, he loves cheering you up. You feel so happy and calm in his arms. His hugs are kind and will last forever; Kensei never wants to let go, but knows he has to go back to work.

Soi-Fon: A quick, but consoling hug. I imagine that Soi-Fon doesn't really like hugs, but for you, she'll put up with it, but only for a few seconds. She won't admit it, but for the first few seconds, she indulges in the hug and cherishes it. She'll start patting your back before pulling away, face twisted with uncertainty.

Sajin Komamura: A big, fluffy hug :) You know the kind of hug that makes you feel all warm and fuzzy inside. He'll hold you as long as you need, but in reality, Sajin needs this hug more than anything. He loves to cradle you in his arms and breathe in your scent, relaxing his whole body.
