This is the problem right here, from Zavier's post on Twitter "Thank you to @ KristaVernoff and @ TheKileyDonovan for all the help, and giving me a place to let this lil Black, gay, femme voice shine". WTF does him being a "black, gay, femme voice" have to do on this Firefighter show? Maybe have wlw voices who have gone through the pregnancy process instead to write the story right.

I'm all for diversity and representation in the writer's room but again, the bigger issue for me is that it seems there's a lot of writer's in the writer's room that lack experience and that would explain the mess and inconsistency of this season. I mean in regards to Marina's storyline, no, his voice doesn't exactly help. But since he's gay, he could be representation for Tremmett example and should be able to write a gay relationship realistically. I would hope that Leah, the only wlw writer that seems to be in there, would have a lot of input in Marina's storyline but since all of these storylines revolve around men, it doesn't seem likely.

These are the kind of news I would have loved to share with mamma Lorenza.. Dreams can come true, wherever you make them from, even your little bedroom in Belpasso, Sicily..

👋🏼 friends. So. I broke my wrist yesterday doing a backhand spring in a charity video for Covid relief in my front yard. (True story) It was my “special skill” no one knows I can do. (That was the premise of the video & I used to be a gymnast) Nailed the first one... the second one nailed me. Full crunch fest. It looked like my hand was making a getaway from my arm. I couldn’t believe it. Went into major deep breathing and sobbing. And sobbing & breathing. Ambulance came and rushed me to the hospital. It was very scary to go it alone and to take ANY energy away from Covid patients right now & my little boy was home & him seeing me in so much pain. All the things. Thank you Joe & Anthony my wonderful paramedics fellas for telling me it was okay & it was a true emergency. They hated they had to wear masks because they want their patients to see their faces & are adjusting to the new normal. I could feel their caring energy mask et all. They got me through. Friends... It’s SO broken. And I’m very lucky. Could be much worse. Thank you Linda & Michael & @kristavernoff at #GreysAnatomy for helping my find my incredible ortho. Our healthcare heroes. And @stephanieschuster & @jacobskid for taking care of me. I am in tremendous pain. I’ve never broken anything or gone under or had surgery. Alas, 10 am tomorrow surgery commences. My spirits are high. Looking forward to relief and what my dreams will be like. Thank you to my healing community and outpouring of love from my sweet friends & family. Pain is a teacher. Healing inevitable. This too shall pass. One moment at a time. I’m much stronger than I thought. And just as I was getting antsy in the quarantine... the universe said be still a little longer. Holy moly. My heart is so full and my arm is so swollen! Quick update: the surgery on my broken left wrist from charity-back-handspring-gone-wrong, went perfectly. Such ease. All your healing, loving, energy vibes were felt! Thank you to Dr. Modabber and his incredible team for taking such good care of me! I’m reading all of your sweet messages and feel completely overwhelmed with love & support. Have to say our #healthcareworkers are THE REAL HEROES. Honored to be in their presence today. Still in a lot of pain... let the healing begin. 🦾💕💪🏼.

While an apology might seem drastic, if you read my post (which is only a sliver of the long history behind how this disease is mired in misinformation), you will understand that blasting incorrect facts about the disease on public TV viewed by millions does more harm than help to the 190 million people worldwide with endo. While this underfunded, unresearched disease needs awareness, it needs CORRECT awareness. I am a longtime fan. I’ve seen every episode of your 18 seasons at least twice. I love how you address social issues on your show, so I know that’s important to you. Please address the false information given on season 18 episode 10 about endometriosis. Using the incorrect definition perpetuates the myth that Endometriosis is a menstrual disease that can be treated with continuous hormone suppression or unnecessary hysterectomies. Utilizing this incorrect definition also inhibits productive research as much of it today focuses on studying uterine tissue (2). Please help be a leader in changing outdated misinformation throughout the medical community! You have the ability to make a huge impact. The Endometriosis community will be anxiously awaiting this change (2). Thank you for reading this post.
