tell the remaining members to graduate because their fanbase will follow them is stupid, acting like they didn’t work their asses off to get where they are and haven’t invested so much in their current persona. ike, elira, and vox are some of the most popular talents so that it makes sense for anycolor to force them into making the stream. saying that vox doesn’t care about mental health after his charity stream and saying that it was just for show need to shut up because we’ll never how how he’s really feeling behind the avatar. elira specifically doesn’t deserve the disproportionate amount of hate and disgusting things she received from it from what was essentially revenge porn to art of her being abused, have these people not been taught that if you don’t have anything nice to say don’t say anything at all? it costs NOTHING to spam hate on your private account instead.

Behind closed doors (kotover)

This is a fanfic because there is a lack of Kotover or Kotoka Torahime x Ver Vermillion fanfics 🥲, I would also just like to say that I have no affiliation with Nijisanji or it’s vtubers whatsoever, this is just pure fanfic based on my imagination

It was a normal day in the Xsoleil institute of infinity, where people with abilities come together to learn. Ver Vermillion the president eating donuts as he signed the multitude of paperwork on his desk, the vice president, Kotoka Torahime shapeshifting into Meloco, a dear friend of theirs and another member of the student council, helping her with a problem, The underpaid therapist (aka: Hex Haywire) looking dumbfoundedly at Doppio Dropscythe who was drinking raw blended chicken as a part of his diet, quite an odd day, but for them the oddity of it all is normal.

As school hours ended one by one the institute got quieter due to the lack of students making a fuss and that also meant the council members leaving. However the shapeshifter vice president did not leave, instead she sat on the council’s designated couch. “Kotoka if you are here just to be trouble-” Ver started, not really looking forward to her teasing tonight, her had a lot to do under his plate and he felt like he would accidentally snap at her because of her gal like personality, sure it got annoying a ton of times but it was a little touching that despite everything that has happened she was able to retain her bright output

“I’m not here for trouble all the time” The dual haired woman retorted with a joking snort although her teasing tone betrayed her expression of annoyance. “I wanted to accompany you, Kaichou!” She grinned as she revealed her intentions, it wasn’t the first time Kotoka had ever accompanied Ver on his longer work hours, even helps him sometimes when she herself has nothing more to do.

Ver raised an eyebrow at her reply but said nothing and just nodded before he continued working on the paperwork. Kotoka was actually a decent person to be stuck with whenever she’s not screaming, unlike how she was during the day, loud, boisterous, mischievous she was quiet during the night, quietly reading a random book she found on the table as she awaited the president to finish his work.

As they continued on silently, the warm fire crackling, the ticking of the clock and the trees slightly hitting the closed window due to the gentle wind of the night was the only noise that could currently be heard in the usually loud council room, time passing by the second. Kotoka looked up from her book to yawn a bit, stretching her limbs in the process and also taking the chance to look at the front where Ver was working in his personal desk.

The book she was reading lay forgotten in her lap as she looked at Ver, observing his features, he always used to have his mask on but he actually looked quite handsome with it off for Kotoka, of course she would rather die than tell him that face to face, however she was not shy when he looked at his deep red eyes and his fluffy ear length black hair that faded to his namesake, Vermillion red, he had broad shoulders and despite being the shortest among the men in Xsoleil student council he was tall in his own right or when he was placed beside another student. They bickered all the time about the most ridiculous things but they always depended on each other nonetheless, she blushed at her own thoughts but her eyes still remained on him.

Feeling a stare on him, Ver looked up from the paper’s to see Kotoka staring at him, suddenly he was conscious of how he looked like, his cheeks reddening a bit as he stopped writing “Do I have something on my face?” He asked while touching his face but felt nothing there, Kotoka let out a burst of laughter and shook her head in response, standing up and putting a hand on her hip as she replied “do I have to have a reason to look at you now, Kaichou??” A teasing glint in her bright blue eyes, her reply caught him off guard and he shook his head and sighed, a slight upturn of his lips as he lets out a faint chuckle, he didn’t know what to do with this girl sometimes... but at the same time he wouldn’t know what to do without this girl and her burst of energy.

such a soft boy oh my god. he’d confess in the early spring when all the flowers are blooming and the trees are blowing so gently in the warm breeze. the soul prophet would be hiding his face just a little behind his asymmetrical hair. his rose colored eyes shone with nervousness as he quietly whispers his love for you as the flowers he had picked for you fell on the ground and swirled around with the breeze. the flowers only fell on the ground because you didn’t have any room for them when your arms were wrapped around his neck, hands combing through his beautiful hair as you gave him the most gentle kiss. his lips were soft against yours as his eyes narrowed in pure happiness. ver’s pale face was dusted with blush as you walked hand in hand with the student counsel president.

MELOCO KYORAN •

she has a tendency to push herself really hard for the benefit of other students. you’d become concerned for her well-being and visit her at her house to find her sitting on the ground with other people’s homework surrounding her as she looked like she was about to cry from stress. you decided to help her with the things she needed to get done, and she eventually fell asleep on your shoulder. her dark hair was tousled and splayed around her face and deep purple hoodie. meloco’s confession would be sleepy and you had doubted it at first, but she said it again the next day just to confirm that she really did have feelings for you and had since you met. her cheeks were the same bright pink color as her eyes when she had confessed her love for you, earning her a gentle kiss on either blushing cheek.

HEX HAYWIRE •

traditional love letter all the way. hex would at first be conflicted on wether or not he was to express his feelings at all, but he decided it would be better to express it than to keep it secret. he’d leave the letter on your desk during your lunch when you were gone to get something. it was folded so delicately that you had to debate wether or not to open it at all. on the paper was hex’s pretty, yet slightly messy handwriting. the letter was so beautifully written, detailing the ways you were beautiful in his eyes, which was ultimately everything about you. his confession of love is the most beautiful, with the letter illuminating his feelings for you down to the smallest detail. it ended with a simple “i love you.” right above his signature, with a small heart drawn next to it.

KOTOKA TORAHIME •

she confesses spontaneously. the two of you would just be hanging out after school and randomly deciding to go to the beach. it was a late summer day, the intermediary between summer and autumn where the days are hot but the nights are as cold as ice. especially when on the beach, the cold and salty air fluttering around you and kotoka as the both of you play in the sand amidst the ever so gently crashing waves. it would be quick, nearly lost in the moment entirely. just a quiet “i love you so much oh my god!” that disappears in the sound of the crashing waves. she knew you heard it from the way you looked at her with an indecipherable expression on your face. not a moment later, she knew you felt the exact same by the kiss you gave her, wrapping your arms around her curvy frame and planting a gentle kiss right on her forehead, then both her cheeks, then her soft lips.

DOPPIO DROPSCYTHE •

he would confess in winter, when the both of you were walking around a shopping district together. he cautioned you to be careful because he didn’t want you to get a cold, and initially you thought nothing of it. he just wanted you healthy, that’s all. yet as the sun finished its descent under the horizon and the night became bitterly cold, accompanied by dark clouds covering the stars, doppio wrapped his jacket around you and bought you a warm drink. the way his normally pale face was flushed on his nose and cheeks from cold was oddly cute to you as the two of you walked. you offered to share your drink with him and he denied it, obviously flustered. the district was nearly empty, most people having gone home in the wake of the bitter cold. powdery snow started to fall so gently from the sky, causing a smile to appear on your face as you danced around in it, doppio right by your side. it eventually devolved to slow dancing in the snow, with you remarking that you wouldn’t leave him until you freeze. he leaned in a little, a small smirk on his flushed face. when he said the three words you had been waiting for for god knows how long, the distance between you and him was closed in response.

what was going on behind those eyes? sometimes you really did wonder what the hell went on in the mind of your girlfriend. what horrifying thoughts were contained behind her sparkling blue eyes, sometimes you wanted to know. then again, the truth can be awful sometimes and you’d be better off not knowing. what people she was constantly messaging on her various social media apps, who she was meeting so late at night and why she’d sometimes come back with small amounts of blood on her skin and clothes which she’d quickly brush off as just that she fell.

why did everyone who knew her aside from you describe her as cold and unfeeling, ready to hurt anyone at the slightest provocation? but to you, she was such a sweet and beautiful girl that you were more than happy to date. sure, she can be a bit of an airhead, but she’s just so sweet and always manages to make you happy.

kotoka really didn’t want to hurt anyone, she never wanted to. she just wanted you all to herself. but when your best friend got too close to figuring out what she had been doing in the shadows, slowly making everyone you knew cut you off and leaving you just with your seemingly innocent and sweet girlfriend, she had to do something about it. she didn’t mean to kill them, she didn’t mean it and she never wanted it to end up this way.

yet there she stood, bloodied knife in hand. her hair, half blonde and half bubblegum pink, was messy with clumps of half-congealed blood and god knows what else and hung over her eyes. god, her eyes. they were usually so bright and sparkly, the blue color being reminiscent of a warm summer sky. now, they were blank and almost dead-looking, the blue color being ultimately representative of her cold side that she would never show you. her school uniform was soaked through with the blood of your best friend and pooled beneath her feet as it dripped from her clothes and knife. drip. drip. drip.

when you came to get in hysterics over what had happened to your best friend, she was terrified. she knew you would never accuse her of that, but some part of her knew that she never should have even thought about it. why did she do it? she never wanted to hurt anyone, that would only bring you more sadness when all she wanted was to make you the happiest person in the world. yet, something in her snapped that day. she knew she only wanted you to herself and no one else deserved your presence at all, and knowing that there was someone possibly closer to her made her just…snap.

that was the only person she ever killed for you. if she had confessed her crime to you, she wondered if you’d still hold her hand, the same hands she used to commit the crime that she knew you’d never forgive her for. nobody had to know, she’d never say a thing about it.

all she did when you came to her crying when you found out what had happened was hold you tightly and feign sadness and concern for you.

“you don’t have to worry now, i’m right here baby. i love you, don’t forget that.”

VER VERMILLION ->

due to the sudden change in arrangements with your room in particular, it left poor kaichou insanely flustered and wondering what the hell he was to do in that situation. he’d end up walking shyly back into the shared main room in his black and red pajama pants and grey t-shirt, hair taken out of its usual side-swept style and tousled, hanging slightly over his rose colored eyes. in an attempt to make it less awkward, he’d make a small divider using blankets between your bodies. but before either of you went to bed, ver heard your stomach grumble and suggested you go to the small in-hotel café downstairs in your pajamas together. the elevator ride downstairs was full of giggles and some looks from the people around you, wondering why students were at a hotel, not knowing it was for a counsel trip.

the downstairs café was very calm in atmosphere, ver ordering a pastry and a hot tea while continuing to talk and crack jokes with you. god, he was adorable. as the night went on, he quietly encouraged you to head back to your shared room to rest, and you obliged with sleepy eyes and an equally quiet voice.

you had no idea what had went on while the both of you were asleep, but you woke up in the counsel president’s arms as he slept so peacefully, as if you were simply a plushie. you were wrapped in warm blankets and so was he, ver’s warm body drawing you ever closer to him. you couldn’t help but drift into a deep sleep again with his warmth as your company.

MELOCO KYORAN ->

she figured it would be a good idea to go to the hot tub for a bit to de-stress. she invited you to go with her with a smug smile on her face as she adjusted the deep purple silk bathrobe she wore over her swimsuit. meloco was more than happy to have you accompany her, it was just an excuse to get even closer to you. seeing as her hair was very long, it was tied into a loose bun high up on her head so the chlorinated water didn’t interfere with its softness.

you sat in that hot tub with her for what might have been hours as the sun finished its descent under the horizon and the moon and stars took its place. she was so enthusiastic when talking to you, in stark contrast to her usual stern and sarcastic manner.

she would flop down on your now shared bed in her adorable and soft, lavender colored nightshirt that hung over her body like a dress. her long hair hung flat to her head since she had taken a shower after the hot tub. a glance at the clock would tell you that it was far past midnight and time to sleep. meloco wouldn’t mind holding you in her sleep, in fact she would really like it if given your consent cuz consent is hot. you’d wake up with your head on her soft chest as if it were a pillow (booba 🤤).

DOPPIO DROPSCYTHE ->

why is bro so enthusiastic about this. it’s almost like he has a crush on you or something. he’d get pizza or something of the like that you enjoy delivered to your room while you watch reality tv with him. please watch 90 day fiancé with him he will become even more infatuated with you as he munches on his pizza while making the silliest comments on the show. his hair would be tousled and messy, his pajamas would be black sweatpants and a dark pink-purple shirt with a white design on it saying “#1 cheftecfive”. you couldn’t help but giggle at his shirt and how cute he looked in it.

you’d stay up with him late into the night until you fall asleep and end up resting your head on his shoulder. piochan would gently wrap a blanket around you and turn the tv’s volume down until he was ready to go to bed. he’d wrap his strong arms around you and hold you like a little teddy bear.

ugh imagine his deep and slightly raspy morning voice as he wishes you a good morning, holding you so tightly.

KOTOKA TORAHIME ->

she’s so precious. girl will be so excited to share a room with you and watch movies long into the night, so excitedly exclaiming how happy she is to be with you for your time together. she’d eventually decide to keep the movies playing even if she’s about to fall asleep, which ended with you holding each other, fast asleep by the time the sun began riding.

kotoka would wake up first, not wanting to leave your arms or let go of you and letting herself fall asleep. her onesie was so cozy to snuggle her in, you just couldn’t help but hold her tightly in your sleep.

you’d awake so happily in the morning too, just so excited to have kotoka by your side in her adorable cat onesie. she’d get breakfast delivered to your shared room, filled with giggles on the cool morning.

HEX HAYWIRE ->

oughhh he is so teasing about it. he won’t hesitate to hold you and be your big spoon in his sleep, brushing your hair after your bath or shower at night or morning (personally i’m a night bath kinda guy but yk) and saying affirming things to you in his naturally deep and gravelly voice. he’s so. ugh.

hex will wake you up in the morning with your favorite caffeinated drink and something you’ll eat for breakfast with a gentle smile on his face as he adjusts his glasses.

the way he looks when you wake up before him though…god. his hair will be more tousled than usual, his normally sharp eyes closed in soft sleep and the most small and gentle smile on his face as he presumably dreams a happy dream. you can’t help but fall asleep to the sound of his gentle and calm breathing.

the softest of the bunch! he’s so openly sweet to you that nobody knows what’s gotten into him since he met you. he’s become much colder to the people around him, to everyone but you. to your friends and family he’s cold and overprotective, but to you he’s the nicest that he could possibly be. you choose not to question it as your friends and family slowly cut you off, leaving you with only one person to go to, ver. when you told him that he was all you had left, it was honestly hard for him to conceal his smile. the soul prophet will stop at nothing to have you all to himself, even if that means physical violence. it’s not his preference, but if ver has to then he will. as long as no one sees his bloodstained hands and clothes, ver will resort to violence to get people away from you. anything for you, absolutely anything.

DOPPIO DROPSCYTHE •

by far the most openly violent. he used to be a delinquent and got into a lot of fights before he met you, so it’s not like he’s not used to it. he doesn’t even care if you see, it’s his way of showing that you belong to HIM and only HIM. doppio will come home to you with a bleeding nose and blood on his knuckles and clothes and you’ll only be concerned about his safety, the way it should always be. the way you will clean his face and hands and wash his clothes and he’ll hold you while you sleep, doppio can’t help but love you. he’ll be nothing but kind to you, much like ver, but if someone dares touch you then it wouldn’t be uncommon to see him and that person in an alley later, and no one would dare to look after they see more sprays and splatters of blood. he doesn’t care about anything except you, never has and never will.

MELOCO KYORAN •

this girl is brutal. she’ll go right to making the people close to you disappear until she’s the only thing left. with her intricately carved blades she’ll carve hearts into the flesh of her victims to prove her undying love for you. she wants only the best for her darling, but she’s bad with expressing her feelings verbally. so naturally, meloco will send you love letters smeared with the blood of the last person she made disappear for you. maybe one day she’ll lose her patience and take you to her home, and you’ll never see the light again. meloco will come home to you every night and remind you just how much she loves you. her love letters are strewn about your room, her beloved’s own room that she sleeps in every single night just to assure you’re not going to go anywhere.

KOTOKA TORAHIME •

a very soft girl. her way of making it so she has you all to herself would be using her adeptness at social media and the like to make everyone cut you off. one by one. she’ll get closer to you with every person that leaves. kotoka would never hurt the people close to you, no matter how much she loves you and just wants you to be hers and hers alone. she just wants you to be as happy as you could be, and killing the people close to you would only cause you pain and sadness. you’re just the most beautiful and lovely person in the world to her, and she never EVER wants to hurt you. she’d never be able to live with herself if she hurt you.

violent, manipulative, you name it. he’s by far the best at getting you all to himself for the rest of your lives together. he has so many beautiful and intricately carved knives that he uses to slice and dice and carve into the people closest to you so he’s the only one left. he’s just keeping you safe, they didn’t like you anyway, they would talk bad about you behind your back, hex would say to you when you found out. and you believed him, you fucking believed him. he wants nothing more than your love and once he has that, he has no more reason to kill. sometimes it helps satisfy his feelings, other times it’s just for fun.
