I have always found it odd how some humans are wiped of their ability to cry. To be vulnerable and tear up.
When a baby is born, the first thing doctors do is check if the baby is crying. It shows that they are well, that they are breathing, that they are alive.
I believe that stays the same as we grow older. Humans need to cry. Whether it be in private or with someone they trust, they must cry to show signs of life. If you do not cry- if you are unable to- your soul is as good as dead. Are you truly alive if you cannot show emotion? Vulnerability and sorrow?
People deserve to cry. You deserve to cry. It is a sign you are alive. And if you are alive, you will push through. Life is not about saying that it will always get better... maybe it won't. But as you grow, you will understand you can be happy and heal despite the circumstances.
So cry when you need to."
