I also went to Brussels (not once but twice!) to watch the Renée Magritte themed flower installations. They are so beautiful and definitely deserve a visit when you are in Brussels. You can spot them at different places in the center of Brussels.

Fashion is a unique language through which everyone can tell their own story. It not only allows us to express ourselves but also opens up new worlds and cultures. The greatness of fashion lies in its ability to blend different traditions and modern trends, and one of the brightest examples of this is KFashion - the fascinating combination of Korean traditional and contemporary fashion.
My journey into this captivating world began accidentally. There was something intriguing about the vibrant and extravagant styles of Korean artists, actors, and celebrities that appeared on the screen. Their fashion sense was so original and unconventional that I couldn't help but wonder what lay behind this magical art of fashion.
My first steps into the world of KFashion began with exploring traditional Korean clothing - the hanbok. This colorful attire, which beautifully combines nobility and simplicity, has been an inspiration for many modern designers. When I first wore a hanbok, I felt like a part of an ancient history woven from the wisdom of generations. It was the moment when I realized that fashion could not only adorn the body but also transport us through time and space.
As time went on, my immersion into the world of KFashion became deeper. I started studying brands and designers, seeking interesting stylizations, and keeping track of the latest trends. From modern streetwear to elegant ensembles for special occasions, Korean designers offered a tremendous variety of styles that felt so vibrant and dynamic.
Beyond the fashion itself, I also became interested in the process of creating unique looks. I began studying the art of mixing different elements, playing with colors and textures. It became a creative way for me to express myself, reflecting my emotions and mood. With each new outfit, I discovered a new facet of myself.
KFashion not only changed my approach to fashion but also broadened my understanding of Korean culture and art. Fashion became a window into the fascinating world of this country, its history, and folk traditions. I started exploring Korean history, literature, and arts to better understand the context and inspiration that permeate Korean fashion.
The deeper I delved into the world of KFashion, the more I felt that it was not just a style of clothing but a way of life. Korean fashion taught me to be more open to new ideas and to challenge stereotypes. It allowed me to find beauty in unexpected places and see familiar things from a new perspective.
My love for KFashion has become an integral part of my identity. It inspires me every day and motivates me to seek harmony between tradition and modernity in everything I do. I actively engage in fashion communities, where I meet like-minded individuals and share our ideas.
KFashion is not just clothing; it is art that touches hearts and souls. It unites us, regardless of cultural differences, in a shared passion for beauty and creativity. Korean fashion continues to inspire me with new discoveries and adventures, and I am delighted that my journey with it has only just begun. The fortress offers beautiful views of the city and visitors can take a guided tour to learn more about the history of the fortress.

What are the differences between early American architecture and Korean architecture? American architecture is a hybrid of many types, mainly from Europe. New England, as you might guess, was originally settled by colonists from England, remaking what they considered a “wilderness” into a new England, quite literally. They kept their traditional housing, with little consideration for the architecture or lifestyles of the Native Americans. They also introduced the concept of private property (owned and used by a single party) to the “New World”, with many consequences. In contrast, Korea had retained the idea of owning land for many hundreds of years, with most of the landholdings belonging to an upper class, much like Europe. Korea followed Confucian, not Christian, ideals, which translated to separating male and female spaces.
Korea also had ondol heating, which allowed the home to be heated much more comfortably than in European homes, which relied on hearths throughout the house. So while European homes built up to retain the heat as much as possible, Korean upper class homes spread out luxuriously over the land.
