Don't let the on-again-off-again reviews fool you, brethren and sistren - Tyler Knox's novel is fantastic (in all senses). It is one of the books I've no idea how many times I've re-read, which puts it on a list with Naked Lunch and Patricia Highsmith's The Cry of the Owl. Someday they'll make a movie and butcher it, and I shall be immensely annoyed.
