My second moment is a Xie Ling moment but like it's so funny to me that he demanded the sugar figure of Shen Qiao but then immediately bit its fuckin head off.
Third is sort of a combo cuz he does it indirectly in the novel (okay fine, rather I suppose Yu Shengyan is the one who does it in the novel) but in the donghua they have him do it lol (thank you donghua crew) - yes I'm talking about him #gaslighting Shen Qiao in the beginning. Declaring with his whole chest, not just the line from the novel about SQ being a disciple of Huanyue Sect, but that I am your Shizun. Yan Wushi. Honestly that was so sexy of him.
and that's all I got lmao, I'd probably have to reread and like take notes on specific quotes to get more than that lol. but like also in general, he is just so Iconic in all that he does. but these three are like. 'tis peaks milord.

BORROWED SHANHE TONGBEI TO SCALE THE FISH AND PLUCK THE BIRD this is not specific dialogue I'm sure there are lines there but like this is such a Moment. also sorry yws but I agree with SQ on the bird thing lol like, wth. using a knife is THE worst way you could do it, you gotta boil up some water and blanch the bird and then manually pluck the feathers out. if you use a knife one it's a pain in the ass two it's inefficient three you're just gonna be cutting the feathers probably (I'm assuming the sword is sharp enough to cut them)-- then you're just gonna have cut off feather quill ends all over the bird. no good.

Top 11 Vegetables That Are Better For You When Cooked
Welcome to Cooking With Whumpster-Fire. For your daily cooking tip, here is a list of eleven delicious vegetables that are tastier and better for you when cooked.
1. Potatoes. Potatoes are not really edible raw and might even be poisonous, but believe it or not they can make a delicious treat if sliced into thin strips or discs and deep fried.

3. Broccoli. Broccoli tastes okay raw, but if steamed, sauteed, or deep fried it releases more nutrients.
4. Kale. Kale is best booked using your oven’s self-clean cycle. This will result in heavy charring, improving the mental health of everyone at your dinner table by giving them an excuse to not eat kale.
5. Pineapple. Listen, if tomatoes and eggplants can be vegetables so can pineapple. Pineapples are not only acidic but contain protein-digesting enzymes called bromelain. Cooking it denatures the bromelain, allowing you to enjoy that delicious pineapple flavor without dissolving your tongue.
6. Eggs. Most eggs that you buy in the grocery store are unfertilized, so they’re free of cancer-causing artificial chemicals, making them an excellent vegetable for a natural, holistic diet. However, like many root vegetables, eggs can contain harmful bacteria such as salmonella and tetanus, so they should always be thoroughly cooked before serving. Eggs are a bit like squash, with a tough, inedible rind, but the rind is brittle and can be broken without using a knife. 9. Bacon. Listen, I know what you’re going to say. But food groups are a conspiracy made up by the FDA and big agriculture to sell more wheat and corn products. They aren’t real. A vegetable can be whatever you want it to be. Again: tomatoes, eggplants, and pineapples are culinary vegetables even though they’re botanical fruits: the same is true of bacon. While it may technically be a fruit, it can substitute for many true vegetables like cucumber, turnips, and parsnip in most recipes as a healthier and more flavorful alternative.
10. Weed. Bitch who the fuck eats marijuana leaves raw? Worst side salad I’ve ever been served. I normally avoid leaving one star yelp reviews as a matter of principle, but the guy running a food truck whose name I will not mention is an exception. Well, it wasn’t a food truck, it was more of just a guy selling salads on the corner. In hindsight I shouldn’t have expected a fine dining experience, but I was fooled by the high prices.
11. Colored Pencils. I know, I know, it can be tempting to grab a handful of fresh colored pencils right out of the bucket as a snack, or even cut them fresh from your herb garden, but they taste much better when grilled or roasted in lemon juice and vinegar. They’re also much less splintery and contain over 50% more absorbable Vitamin C when cooked.

Remote control vibrator world. Back to school and trying to figure out gpas, cum laude, magna cum laude, calculating in a tree, scholarship plus living expenses carry the zero, divide by ten. I carved some words with a knife. Travel by train to nj ny boston, off at a town with a group waiting to be picked up just a chair and a suitcase. One room station. Wood paneling. But rolling somehow to get there, over steps and tracks etc not able to stop. I didn't have a bike did I? Roller bag shopping cart something light with small wobbly wheels. Scooter. I've been looking at old school motorcycles. Cafe racer. BSA. Triumph. Hoping to be picked up, all of us were by then. I wept on the spot, it was hard to contain. A spillway, lake placid. Motel shower curtain. Lookouts are beautiful, like manhattan from the trail. Vision of fontana dam, vision of etowah from vineyard mtn or whatever that peak was. You come closer as you move out. Your circle widens. Love is quantum, ubiquitous. Here and there are only constants. This is what you told me.

I was thinking college would help keep me on track vs second guessing all all time. Still-- I might panic and back out. Maybe not if i already spent a bunch of money. But what would be a degree I would want that would also be practical that I could also do

And I wasn't all happy all the time in college either. I just didn't have time to think about it. I dont remember thinking much about it but I was sometimes miserable (being that I hardly had friends and the ones I did have were just ppl who talked to me between classes. Imagine! They talked to me so they must be friends. And commuting, sometimes w my sisters ex's mom. Smoke in the car, blabbering constantly, sometimes mad at me for no reason, said I needed to get some interest so I would actually talk😡 etc) bc... it would burst out into self harm and anger. I would punch my hip in the shower so hard it bruised. I... was a bit proud of how purple it could get. And I saw a movie in class of a woman who once slapped her face and then I was possessed by that so I would slap my face in the car... and when my younger sister came home w her 2nd boyfriend I cut my hand with a knife (immediately panicking about Germs tho I did it again once after college when my youngest sister brought home her 2nd boyfriend ... then 2016 on the mtn when my sisters kept going and I couldn't... metaphor for my life and that was. Almost 7 years ago. It's. Still the same. 🔫

Friday, 4/4/2024 Stone Mtn to Pigeon Forge, TN 290 miles I 75 to I 40.
This was an eventful trip. We missed a turn to go around Atlanta and ended up going through Atlanta. The roads looked OK on the map but were narrow and had a low clerance bridge on the sides. We were OK through the center, thank goodness. Dana was very stressed and angry that I was not helping navigte therefore missing the exit. I was then very stressed about his stress. He took a wrong turn into a Dollar General, he tried to pull a u-turn and jack knifed and broke the rear cab window. That was the icing on this f...ing cake.
There were so many campgrounds to choose from but this little park is quiet and small.
Our plans are to visit Dollywood and see some dinner shows.Dana was here when the kids were little and enjoyed it. It was quite a shock for him to see the town now. It has grown tremendously with some crazy looking buildings trying to outdo the competition. There are attractions on their roofs and sides. There are at least 8 dinner shows available. Dana decided on Hatfields and McCoys. The food was decent, and the show was cute. We also went to Dolly's Stampede. The food was similar, but this had well trained horses and riders. The stables looked very nice.
Our visit to Dollywood was 2 days for 1 ticket price. We went there on Monday and back on Wednesday. There were some good live acts with music and singing. They were quite fun. There are many roller coasters which did not interest us.
An American Eagle sanctuary is present with dozens of unreleasable Eagles. There is also a show with birds of prey which was fun. They had a Turkey Buzzard and tiny owls and a Peregrine Falcon. They all had eye injuries which prevented their release.
We took the dogs to the onsite kennel the first day, and they seemed fine. We visited and walked them twice while there. Unfortunately, Monday night , Jake developed diarrhea,which kept us up most of the night while taking turns. We had him with us the next day, and he improved with rice and metronidazole. Millie was fine.
One day we went on a car ride to Cades Cove, an 11 mile one way paved road through the Smokey Mtns. It was very pretty but not unlike NH. There were tons of Rhododendrons but not in bloom. We saw lots of beautiful Dogwood trees , Azaleas and bulbsin bloom, and they are beautiful.
This area is clearly T- rump territory with 2 stores just for T- rump 24 merchandise.
We spent some time going to Gatlinburg. It was a rainy day, so we did not get out, but it is a cute village in a steep valley. The area is known for artists of various types. We could easily spend some time here.
We did a little shopping but were ready to leave after a week.

Remembering that one time 2 summers ago I was at a sleepover at my best friends house and she is a diet mtn dew addict so we were getting dewskies and I was like "what if a shot gun this" and so we got a kitchen knife and went to her backyard and I stabbed the knife into the can and threw the knife so hard into the ground it stuck up and I chugged the dewskie. I had a stomach ache for 2 hours after that.

just got back from a crazy afternoon in which I explained my gender(kind of) to my friend. at first it was a bunch of metaphors about pondering the orb(the pink orb), and talking about sexy woman in movie with knife under her dress(you can't see it) and saying 'we live in a society' and mentioning barbie(if she had a knife) and my other friend bringing up plato's allegory of the cave. she was soooo confused(my friend being irl werewolf bi girl who likes to climb trees, borrowed my shirt today so she wouldn't be wearing a full pajama set to the escape room we were doing, spins fire, rock climbs, mtn bikes 10h on the weekends). convo was actually trying to explain why i was a 'scary girl' and she was a girl who was scary but not a scary girl, getting nowhere, moved on.
eventually we came back to it in the context of a discussion on my character development since 5th grade, and she got it when i explained that i was like girl(but weird) so my gender presentation is like a pink shield in front of me where mens eyes see and then slide off and get confused(similar to the kind of horror stories where hunter sees deer in the woods but the deer Isn't Quite Right so the hunter decides to not shoot the deer. this is a metaphor for how a man has never asked me out once in my whole life even tho i am very femme presenting). point being Wow is it hard to explain the patriarchy and a lesbian's relationship with it in the context of my specific gender(girl? gender is strange and offputting girl to most, femme to lesbians).
anyways my friend finally did understand what made me a 'scary girl'(i am unknowable in terms of being perceivable as a Girl to people but a strange girl who might but probably won't but might Do Something and the mystery is what makes me offputting, scary(think about the deer and the hunter)).
lesbians i love you and fellow femmes(and butches) i love you because you would have gotten all of that without so much explaining . you understand being the deer and seeing the hunter.

Link, Zelda, and Navi - A Trio of Legend of Zelda Inspired Cocktails
Wait! Listen!
This Trio of drinks is 3 of the main characters from one of my series of games. There really is not a bad Zelda game (some are better than others...) If you are going to drink these solo, start with Navi (the Shot) move on to Link (the green one) and finish with Zelda (the champagne flute) you will be pretty buzzed and ready to play some Zelda.
Here is the Recipe for the Ginger Rosemary Syrup you will need for the Zelda Drink:
Ginger Rosemary Syrup
1 Cup Water
1 Cup Sugar
8 Oz Ginger, Peeled and Diced
6 inch Rosemary Sprig (or two 3 inch, etc)
Boil together until sugar is melted, place in clean container with a lid (im a fan of mason jars) at least overnight in the fridge to meld the flavor, strain into a squeeze bottle for later use (This is an old recipe that can be found here:)

Navi
1 oz Absinthe
1 tsp sugar
Garnish
Sugar rim
Rim a shot glass with sugar. Shake absinthe and sugar in a mixing tin with ice for at least 20 seconds. pour absinthe into shot glass.

1.5 oz Melon Liqueur
1 oz Pinapple juice
Juice of one Lime
3 oz Mtn Dew
Garnish:
Half a lime rind, juiced.
Add Melon Liqueur, Pinapple juice, and lime juice to a mixing tin. shake for 10 seconds with ice. Strain into a Collins glass with ice. top with inverted lime rind (to resemble Link's hat)
Zelda
1 oz Ginger Rosemary Syrup
0.5 oz Grenidine
Juice of 1/2 a lime
4 oz Champagne
Garnish:
Long strand of lemon peel
pour Ginger Rosemary Syrup and Grenidine into a champagne glass. Juice half a lime into the glass. top with Champagne and garnish with Lemon Peel (use a Channel knife to achive this)
