Paris (pt. 3)
“Do you think the fans will know about us?”
“Suddenly?”
Jeonghan stares at the window, his mind is wandering. “Just thinking.. Somehow fans noticed that our pictures in Paris share a similar places. They’re sharp..”
Jisoo turns of her phone then adjusting her position. She takes her boyfriend’s right hand and holds it dearly.
“Are you worried?”
No answer, perhaps this is really bothering Jeonghan.
“Don’t think about it. There’s no need to worry,” Jisoo answers calmly. But her words come out naturally as if she really just don’t give a care of anything except being with Jeonghan. “What I mean is, when the time comes where the world finds out about us, then let’s think about a way. But now, just be here, be with me. Okay?”
She says “when” not “if,” as if that’s gonna happen. She knows that’s gonna happen. But her answer tells a lot about her as a strong person.
Jeonghan takes a good look at her again, this time with eyes full of adoration. Love is written all over his face. Sometimes he wonders what did he do to deserve Jisoo. She’s truly like a sunshine, but she’s the kind of shine that warms you up and never too hot for you, so you can stay as long as you can.
But after knowing her this long, Jeonghan learns that Jisoo might be warm as sunshine, but her inner self were as deep as ocean. Jisoo’s eyes are like sinking ships on water. She’s a siren that calls you out in the middle of the night, and Jeonghan is in his ship, already jumping to the ocean.
He knows she’s strong, and without her knowing, she has also became his strength. And he knows he chose the right person by his side.
Jeonghan loset too deep in his own thought, so Jisoo says, “I don’t know you’re that down bad for me, my dear, but I love you too,” then adds her infamous smirk in her lips.
“Oh shut up!” he replies, getting embarrassed.
The Eiffel Tower gleaming and twinkling in the middle of the night. It seems like that tower knows her city has become the city of lover. She’s standing tall and proud as she watches people falling in love around her. Perhaps this night, Jeonghan and Jisoo are lucky enough to be able to fall in love all over again with each other.
“Hoshi were wrong”, Jeonghan thinks to himself. “It’s not ‘she was sunshine, and I was midnight rain.’ It’s ‘she was little brave girl, I was a cat.’”
