oh yay!!! first of all i have to admit that over the years i've dipped in and out of omgcp tumblr and therefore have been very bad at staying up to date, so most of these are quite old. they are my favourites for a reason, however! also i did 6 not 5 lol <3

i actually only read this fic recently, but it’s instantly one of my new faves. it is SO well written, the characterisations of every single character are perfect, and the story is so beautiful. i’ve reread it a few times already!

idk why but i absolutely live for fics where everyone on the outside knows what nursey and dex are up to except for them, and this one is really good at it. the ‘derek “nursey” nurse is unchill’ tag is very accurate in this case.

i absolutely adore this story. dex and nursey learning to coexist and care for each other is so special to me and this fic captures it perfectly. honestly, anything by shelly is going to be a must-read, but this one is really really wonderful.

And there’s hurt in Nursey’s eyes and his bottom lip is swollen from Dex’s teeth, but he says, “Okay.” And then, “It’s chill, Dex. Just friends, then.”

“Actually,” Nursey says, talking more to his granola than to them, “I kind of have a date.”

another wonderful fic by shelly - i reread this one all the time. it’s such a lovely character study of dex and it tackles the subject matter so well. content warnings in the end notes.

i always come back to this one. it’s just so sweet and funny. i remember reading it years ago and it has stuck with me all this time.

this is one of those special fics that stays with you. i have never been to seattle, but this story made me homesick for the city. mars is such a gorgeous writer and this fic is a perfect example of it! (also i miss u mars!!!)
this was fun, i've missed reccing fics! i hope i could be useful! maybe i'll do some more recent ones if I manage to keep up to date with the nurseydex tag <3

kimikofrenchie season three is soooo... like they aren't in a relationship really and it's pretty unclear whether they even realize they have feelings for each other yet they do /everything/ together. it's like second nature to them, wherever one of them goes the other will follow. she works for butcher because he works for butcher. he agrees to go on a ride because she wants to. they would live together in Marseille if they could AND THEY ARENT EVEN TOGETHER. it's this unspoken truth between them, that they'll always be with each other even if they haven't yet realized it's love.

Favourite male character: Marvin Milk and then Frenchie<3
Favourite female character: Kimiko (obviously), Maeve, Annie and Popclaw from season one because she killed her landlord with her pussy
Least favourite character: Soldier Boy buy mostly because I'm seeing way too much apologism about him. Seriously speaking though it's probably The Deep because he gets too much screentime that could've gone to any of my other favourite characters, ESPECIALLY Maeve and Kimiko
Prettiest character: Kimiko and MM<333
Funniest character: Homelander i think??? He's just very pathetic and it's fun to laugh at him
Favourite season: season 1 objectively and season 3 because we got to see more kimiko and also she got amazing needle drop moments
Favourite episode: I'll go with Herogasm but ONLY because of the kimikofrenchie subplot
Favourite romantic ship: kimikofrenchie and anniemaeve/kimikomaeve/kimikoannie/kimikoanniemaeve (😭). Also MM and a moment of peace and quiet
Favourite familial ship: kimikofrenchie since technically they're "family"
Favourite friendship: kimiko and mm !
Worst ship: Homelander x Soldier Boy because. Well.
