So I finished knitting my blanket!!

it’s longer than me… might be two metres😮‍💨😮‍💨

been working on it about two years off and on?

five balls of a cotton blend (came with the gradient)

has a really nice weight to it but still relatively cool for the hot weather here :))

I listened to SO MANY podcasts while doing this ahaha

two hundred stitches!! at least at the start lol I’m pretty sure I’ve dropped quite a few judging by the random holes in the blanket

if I ever make another one ill probably use 300 stitches bc I think it could have been a bit wider, and stitch markers 😔🙏

apparantly my siblings have been using it a lot which aaaaaaaaa 🥺🥺💜 really really happy i made it

I also switched from English to Continental style bc I heard it was faster but uh clearly I didn’t achieve the right tension bc they look pretty different (above)

you can tell how bad I was at continental just by looking at the picture I think 😭

idk if it was faster but interesting to learn anyway!!!

i can't get over the fact that suguru used past tense

「he was my best friend」

while satoru uses present tense

「my best friend found it... my one and only」

he spent over a decade under the impression that satoru was mad at him. that they were no longer best friends because he left.

「we got into a fight and, well...」

well, what, suguru? i don't think he even knows how to finish that sentence if he were saying it to himself.

but maybe he uses past tense because he himself removed the title from his name. maybe he didn't feel worthy enough to be gojo satoru's best friend.

maybe he thinks he knows satoru better than he actually does. because maybe sometimes there was a bitter taste on his tongue whenever he called his found home his family. thinking it would offend satoru. "we were your family" he could practically hear gojo say. maybe sometimes he turns to his family with a sad smile because he once used to turn around to see different people. the people he left to protect. what he was doing was for them. for satoru, for shoko, for nanami, for haibara, for amanai and kuroi. so he wouldn't have to watch them all drop like flies just like haibara did.

maybe he put the title on hold. until one day. until one day he could face satoru and tell him that they didn't have to be strong anymore. they could be weak and they could be together because there was nothing in the way anymore.

「trust? i thought that was something i lost a long time ago... at least curse me a little at my end」

I cannot recommend this enough: get yourself a crack ship.

Find yourself a pairing of characters (romantic or not) who absolutely have no business interacting and make yourself stupidly invested in their dynamic. Make it the most niche shit imaginable tailor it to yourself specifically.

Seriously though it'll help you understand the full meaning of creating art for yourself first and foremost because who else is gonna make content for your crackship? You're the one who thought it into existence!

okay so first, i just wanted to thank you guys all so much for 4k followers!!!!!! its weird to think that a little blog i made during the pandemic could have ever gotten this popular. i grew up always being a reader so being on the other end is very very silly. but im very happy i can write things that other readers enjoy whenehehe

second, ummmm oopsies. like three weeks ago i put out a note saying that i might be a day late with updates. that ended of turning into me disappearing for like over two weeks. in my defensible i was traveling, starting my internships, and getting mugged in a gas station parking lot by my allergies >:\ (WHICH HAVE NEVER BEEN BAD TO BEGIN WITH BRUHHHH literally thought i had bronchitis for a couple of days whoops)

Anywayssss ive been back for a couple of days now and I've been getting settled. so right now i have a growing backlog of things I've written hehehe. and to get back on schedule, i'm going to posting once a day for about a week (starting today). AND THEN i'll go back to once every 3 days. (Maybe even shorter than that if I have time since i hate how long some of y'all gotta wait teehee)
