I saw this reel a while ago on Instagram. That was the fist time I saw this little animation, and I loved it. It's so simple yet their movement and their comically big pants stuck with me.

Also I like Phonk music so... It stuck with me too X)

I liked is so mush in fact I wanted to make OCs off of it.

It's been a while since I had made and "original" OC, outside of an already existing fandom so I thought I'd really need that.

So I started sketching:

I knew I wanted to make two, one for each version of the music. I waned them to "represent" the version if you will. (I obviously took the color scheme of the covers for the final design)

I also wanted to include the big pants of the little stickman animation. (BTW this is the original)

I thought of them as friend at first but a friend referred to them as brothers and the idea of dumb brother rivalry/copying each other was way more fun.

As I wanted to take inspiration from the music in the video I searched them on YouTube and discovered... there is a third version !

So who knows maybe I'll draw their third long lost brother one day X)

I'm really happy with them, I especially love 2's little ushanka/cap and pom-poms X) And the ponytail !!!

I went for kind of a "cold" vs "hot" or the clothing styles. Avoid me 2 sounded "colder" to me, I don't know how to explain it.

I love that you can see they clearly have different personalities (yet strangely similar) just by their facial expressions. If you see what I mean.

Also I keep refering to them as "1" and "2". They don't really have names. I never really tried giving them any but if you have any ideas feel free to tell me.

I love how 2 looks absolutely stoned even tho he's not. He's just... not here.

Also, It didn't make sens to me to make 2 the oldest since, you know, 2 comes after 1 lol, but 1 looks too much like the little bro who's always screaming for no reason.

Blaze probably just goes trough anything he thinks looks interesting without necessarily joining a scene. One of his later crew mates dresses like a Victorian goth and sometimes he will get bored and be like „I’m bored. Can I try and put on your corset?“ „No because you’re gonna hurt yourself …. So I’M gonna do it. How do you feel about eyeshadow?“ „Tastes awful but looks good on me.“ „Alright then its makeover time.“

Ok but I have to thank you because this message was the kick in the ass I needed to rework the teen triplets charadesign, which I was procrastinating since a while! Propers referencesheets will come later. Let's meet 16 years old Buggy the clown's spawns!

To answer you :

First of all, Red' don't keep any pictures of her past - to Buggy's big despair. So the poor little clown don't have any weapon to fight back! However I can easily imagine that one day the big top will anchor on an island where the crew will randomly meet someone from Reddie's past. Buggy will jump on them and ask them a TON of questions.

As you spotted, Rory has a soft for steampunk aesthetic - big fan of Jules Vernes (yes I HC that a version of Jules Vernes exist in one piece), dreaming about flying machines, obsessed by the idea to go on Skypiea because that's a land you can't reach by the sea. He's also the one of the triplets who cares the most about being ~ classy ~ . A real little dandy! He probably got through some victorian goth phase when he was like 14. When he get the outfit you can see on the ref, everyone in the family and the crew was like "o_o guys is Rory wearing COLORS?!!"

Skye is the one of the triplets who embrace the most the clowncore vibe, probably crafting herself some outfits in her father's old clothes. By the years she finally went ok with her nose, however she still feels the need to compensate with the rest of her outfit, copying her father's crossbones makeup for exemple. She will change her look when she will reach early adulthood (19-20 years old), and yes there is a meaning behind the undercut she got! you can speculate but I won't confirm or deny anything ehe 🤡

When it comes to clothing, Blaze only has two criteria : comfort and color. His hyperactive ass always run, jump, climb anywhere soooo he quickly learned to chose robust clothing that is easy to evolve with. But bright colors! Bright colors always catch his eyes! He's like a magpie! He also kept his beanie hat while growing up, and attempted to wear it with pigtails like his daddy do with his captain hat. He lose one teeth after a bait with Rory, too. Thinking this would make him look more like Buggy, but this dumbass did it the wrong side. His bracelets are very important too, but you'll understand why later! Also, I like your idea of him trying anything (and tasting eyeshadows which. Let's be honest. He did. At 16 years old. And after too.), especially some goth things. I think Blaze is mostly aroace, but if one day he should have a " planotic lovestory" this would be with someone who has a black cat energy, and he probably won't realize he's in a relationship. A gothy teen just appear in his life and it's somehow funny to kiss them, apparently they decided he was their boyfriend now? hey, why not.

Stuff like that is precisely why I think 1) gamebros are the most stupid people on the internet 2) this whole "stop shoving race swapping and stay true to characters uwu" is a farce and a backhanded way to shun on any non White characters

Imagine arguing that characters called Hanzo, Quan Chi, Bi Han, Raiden, etc... shouldn't have to be Asians but instead middle eastern/Arab/Mediterranean (of course he wouldn't say White bc it would be too obvious lmao). Like yeah Josh, find me a dude in Jordania or Sicilia called Bi Han who's not of East Asian descent...

Also look at this idiot saying "yeah people fell in love with those characters because of these -Middle eastern- design" uwu (so since MX9 released in 2009) when MK has been a successful game since the 90s, wayyy before these "middle eastern" versions... Like yeah MK went back into flavor since the 2009 reboot but arguing that's bc of the characters (facial) design is stupid - there's a reason why they quickly redesigned the characters in MKX to be more realistic - notably in terms of body proportion of female characters. Charadesign in Mortal Kombat has always been pretty fluctuating.

Most of MK characters are NINJA, or (monks) using east Asian martial arts, and there are still people being like "mUh tOo mAny SlanTed eYes PeOpLe uwu". Soon they're going to accuse Liu Kang of being racist for rebooting the world and made most of the characters to "look like him", like they did with Jax ending in MK11 where he came back in time to erase slavery off History 💀

It's funny how these White gamerbro think it's a given for non White characters to be fair and diverse in their choice (apparently Liu Kang should've made a world with less Asian Kombatants 🥴) but the second POC ask them the same, suddenly it's woke™ and aTtaCk oN whIteNesS uwu

Okay so, Playboyy episode 1, the bad first :

the acting is so rough in parts. And in some scenes it's fine cause that cannot be easy to play, but in others I'm just like. what the fuck are you doing. As often in those cases I'm left wondering if it's a "we didn't have the money for enough takes" issue, an actors direction issue, or if I'm missing something.

the show flip-flops between visually intriguing and/or visually funny and absolute & total blandness in a way I cannot make sense of.

The good :

Love how deliberately not sexy most of the sex scenes/kinks are. The terrible "cop" outfit ? the cringy flirting ? the standard porn lines in japanese ? incredible. it's funny, it's an interesting change of pace from the usual BL sex scenes and getting rid of the glamour feels relevant in an episode which has for whole thesis that everyone has to contend with sex one way or another

Like i said, the show is really visually fun sometimes. Not beautiful, I wouldn't say beautiful, but I'm enjoying seeing sets that have had a lot of thoughts put into their design. The choice to go for the #aesthetic rather than realism is great imo, especially when you compare how "normally' the playboyys are filmed during their little get together with the lush, absurd environment the rich boys evolve in. it's fully two different worlds and I love that.

speaking of #aesthetics I want to kiss whoever was responsible for costume design on the mouth. Those characters are dressed the way you'd draw them if you wanted them to stand out in a reader's mind. Real manga charadesign vibes. I fucking love it.

Nont (or is it Nant ? why do they have such similar names T-T) was on screen for so little time and still managed to have real impact on me. I'm invested in him, I'm invested in his quest, and his smug "you wouldn't know, you don't have a mother" was so mean - I love him already.

Probably controversial but I really liked the tense music/almost scare chords over Zouey trying to masturbate like. the guy's complicated relationship with his own pleasure is interesting and i. idk, I'm sure it broke immersion for a lot of viewers but it worked on me, I felt real unease both times.

The "could go either way" :

I have no idea how they're going to deal with Zouey's reticence toward sex in the future and I'm a little wary. So far I have no complaints but. you know.

Listen I am fully team playboyy and I don't think we're meant to take their "scamming those poor, fragile men" scene completely at face value given that it's their ass on the line if things go wrong but at the same time i don't trust tvshows to be fair to sex workers so. we'll see. I have hopes though.

I was rereading water 7 for the billionth time or something, and then realised Lucci charadesign put us on the way to CP9 betrayal/manage the suprise effect.

Surprise effect : Hattori LMFAO. For manga readers there wasn't that much, but for anime only people, given he latter had a full conversation with Robin, it helped to keep the secret, given the VA in Japanese of Hattori and Lucci are almost opposite tonalities and all.

Clue : those ridiculous tattoos we don't get to see anymore unless he's in leopard form (aka half naked, not that I'm complaining). When we first get to see dead ""Lucci"" and ""Kaku"", even though Hattori is here, the tattoos are missing so we should have been able to tell it wasn't actually him. And that they're really poor spies, like couldn't you boy just use a pencil or something ? 😭

(won't elaborate on the last sentence, the fact they let a cyborg who is able to spit out fire in possession of paper documents should be enough.)

I love how careful both the anime and manga are when it comes to not giving any real hints on who the CP9 agents are and it's one of the reasons I think the entire reveal is so effective (especially since in recent arcs having 'traitors' is becoming more and more common). In the manga it's obviously not a big deal in terms of voices because there's no audio but I've looked at the original Japanese for those chapters and even when Kaku's talking while wearing the skull mask he's...using a completely different speech pattern instead of his usual 'old man' style so anyone reading wouldn't be able to pick up clues from that (and of course in the anime just having Lucci talk works well enough because we haven't heard his real voice until then).

I remember back when I was liveblogging that arc we had a running joke going about how they're better quick-change specialists than agents because Kaku and Lucci at least change clothes at least four or five times within the space of a few hours so those boys are working overtime and I guess Lucci's tattoos being overlooked was them hoping nobody would look too closely if the mansion was getting attacked.

(Though, again, we also kind of had a running joke about how bad these guys are at their jobs...specifically the 'assassination' part...so maybe I shouldn't even give them the benefit of the doubt here...)

Actually that make sense to say that Izumi get the Shojo heroine treatment because at first look his charadesign isn't special but the mangaka keep on drawing him in a very fluffy way even when he's not the focus of the panel.

We are obviously supposed to focus on Shikimori and yet it doesn't stop Izumi to look cute as well

Nur is the adopted daughter of Raya and Namaari.

After the return of the Druun, 2 years working on their friendship, then dating for two, while taking up the new challenge that is Kumandra, Raya and Namaari finally decide to get married.

After 1 year of marriage, pressure from the elders and Namaari to see a child, Raya finally gives in... The Kumandra is far from perfect, and adopts an orphan.

However, the pressure of the elders forces them to move towards a baby rather than an older child. Which is not easy for Raya who discovers the "joys" of motherhood.

- Nur is adopted at 18 months, she is from Fang.

- We don't know much about her origins except that she comes from the lowest social classes, even from the "slums" and that her biological mother dropped her off at the orphanage very few time after his birth.

- Being from Fang she has trains similar to those of Namaari, and has black hair.

- Her mother being Namaari, among others, she inherited her passion for cats and her taste for feline makeup.

- Raya wanted to call it soup, because it's neutral, and in addition it evokes kumandra, the joy of meeting and restoring prosperity

- Namaari chose the first name: Nur, which means light

• For her, who has lived in the darkness of her torments, she is her star, her light, this ray of sunshine that Raya evokes for her, she is the fruit of their love, a light in their lives.

• For Raya Nur it is the light of dawn, the one that announces a new day. Nur is the light of hope for the future that makes you smile it is this kumandra, but it is potentially the light of a blazing fire such as these mothers can be as formidable warriors, that one day she will be too.

In summary Nur is the light of hope, that of their future as a couple, that of their happiness and their love, but it is also the radiant and hopeful future of Kumandra.

Nur has a little brother or little adelphe (non-binary) when she was 4 years old.

- As she grows older, she shaves the back of her head to keep her hair long on top, which she mainly wears in a bun.

(I admit to being a huge fan of Mayaari and Sirinan's charadesign proposed by Karen_acobs 😍)

- Nur has a temperament similar to that of Raya: Chaotic and brawling and teasing, prankish but devoted to the people she loves, small she is obedient and admiring towards her mothers, especially Namaari (that doesn't stop her sometimes to disobey).

However, she is not as gifted as her mothers, which makes her suffer in addition to undergoing harassment from her comrades who, in addition to telling her that she sucks, make her understand that she is not legitimate as a descendant therefore that she is not the daughter of her mothers and she would do better to return to the gutters from which she comes before being eaten by the serlots (reserved for the elite of society) she is nicknamed by her comrades "the rat" (a rat chased by cats).

These events take her far away from Namaari who tries to help her by training her while Nur wants to be considered for herself and not just the product of her mothers. This occurs during his adolescence, during the period of opposition and affirmation.

At the same time she wants to make them proud and to be up to it, so to train and be at the level. But she also wants to be herself, so to succeed on her own, without help. Which causes her to push Namaari away. This lack of communication makes Namaari more severe and demanding on her daughter's results.

It is finally necessary that Nur participates clandestinely in a dangerous mission so that Namaari flies to his rescue and finally bursts abstiness on his problems and finally talks to each other again. Dela can begin the reconciliation and a reconstitution of their bond (little by little).

Nur adores Raya, and goes to see her when Namaari disagrees. It's where she tries lots of new experiences that her other mother certainly wouldn't want.

She is very protective and complicit with respect to her little brother/younger adelphe. And she's the only one kicking his ass, but usually they're more like partners in crime.

Woke : Mad Dummy/Mad Mew Mew is trans, goes with she/her pronouns and Mew Mew is her definitive body. Bespoke : Mad Dummy/Mad Mew Mew is genderfluid, goes with any pronoun and switches from one body to another depending what they want to do and what they feel like today

First Undertale fanart in years omg I feel so old. I had never drawn Mad Mew Mew for several reasons : 1) I was no longer into the fandom when she appeared 2) I found that design ugly and that it was lazy to make that easter egg out of a character Alphys loves instead of a whole new design, 3) Mad Dummy is as you know one of my favorite characters the way they are so at the moment I was outraged they dared to change them out of all UT characters and 4) I was petty the whole fandom loved it because sure the trans/nb connotations were cute but once again it threw in the trash the one charadesign I loved and used in so many headcanons and drawings. But fear not, followers, for I have found a compromise in my headcanon continuity ! Sure Mad Mew Mew LOVES her new body and has plans for it such as maybe hosting a show like Mettaton someday, but let us not forget that she/they also had plans and hobbies that are impossible to do with a life-sized famous anime character figure, such as posing in a fancy store window with clothes and still being Undyne's training dummy, 2 things the original Mad Dummy intended to do and keep doing but that would be impossible as only Mad Mew Mew. Furthermore, they DID love that dummy body too ! Remember how HAPPY they were to have finally fused with it in the Genocide Run, cheerful, thanking over and over and blushing ! That's not the reaction from someone who chose that body because it was "better than nothing". She/they say that Mew Mew body is "perfect" probably for the show hosting plan as well as fitting her/them more when feeling like a she. Maddie obviously loves BOTH bodies and the fandom tends to forget that, so I will go with genderfluid Maddie. When feeling like nothing or a male as well as to pose in shops or train with Undyne, they/he is Mad Dummy, when feeling like a female and wanting to feel cute and watch anime with Alphys and Undyne, she is Mad Mew Mew, and they take care of both mannequin bodies. I finally came at peace with her ! Yeah I couldn't help but give them the same brows and stitches as on Mad Dummy as Mad Mew Mew since I HC they do have those as a ghost and that they pop up out of cartoon logic with their new form, like Mettaton's hair tuft

Shiny Bitty Adoptables?

TBH I'm thinking of creating designs for some adoptables bittys. They'll still be free etc and first come first served but they'll have their own charadesigns and backstories with them. You'll be able to kill them off if wanted, of course. But slowly- Have fun, draw or write the death.

Obviously, regular bittys will still be up for adoption!

Those 'complete' ones will be called Shiny Bittys (I'm playing too much Pokémon lol) and will be limited to one per person per month. Meaning you can adopt one each month.

Keep your eyesockets open, they may spawn soon in the form of a bittybone character sheet!

I tried to keep my painting style soft and light to get along~~ (main inspiration for the dress and style is @blogkokoharukaus because I love their soft and cute way to draw frilly dresses -even if I’m no match for them)

i guess the alpha trolls had the most intricate designs, outfit wise (in canon, no spin offs). Friendsim is pretty out there with some designs and a lot easier to look at imo
