How fucking disrespectful and cruel do you have to be to mock a trainer who had the audacity to post about being sad on social media? How dare you assume that they’re “flippant and uncaring” because of the crime of *gasp* seeking comfort in food after a tragedy? How dare you assume you know what’s going through the minds of these trainers who have been working with these animals for YEARS? At least let them grieve. You dedicate such a large portion of your life to hating on these people 1/

2/ and making slanderous art of them, when you’ve never even MET them. What a sad way to live. Hate on SeaWorld corporate all you want, they’re the ones who are actually responsible for faults in animal welfare. Don’t slander the trainers who work hard all day to make these animal’s lives better. Truly vile. I’m not even a huge seaworld fan but you’re the kind of person that makes pro-caps call anti-caps crazy. You should be ashamed of yourself.

For one, I take it you didn't see their post.

Second... people who persist in working for a company that exploits both them and the animals they care for are only hurting themselves. Commenting on that sad reality is nothing more, nothing less. And let me get this straight - you've come to my blog to howl about a 3.5 year old picture I drew, with no mind to anything else I do? And aren't going to even acknowledge that since that time (Kayla's death) many more of Seaworld's animals have died, several completely unremarked until Ceta-base brought them to light? With people falling all over themselves to defend that nonsense? Those deaths - and the vile system that the trainers help perpetuate to both cause and obscure them - are far, far greater tragedies than someone being upset I drew a picture. Perhaps the issue is that it so directly touches on one of many problems? Do keep in mind - if many of these trainers' own statements are to be believed (eg the entirety of Hazel McBride's book) they frequently walk away from the animals they claim to care about. All the time. I'm not ashamed in the slightest. I've nothing to be ashamed of.

*Servet Tazegül Spor Salonu'nda saat 19:00'da başlayacak olan Kadınlar EuroLeague Yarı Final maçı. İki ekip ligdeki final serisine Avrupa arası verecek. Geçen sezon finalde buluşan ve bizleri gururlandıran temsilcilerimiz bu kez yarı finalde Türk derbisi heyecanı yaşatacak. Son şampiyon Fenerbahçe finale kalma serisini sürdürmeyi hedefliyor. Mersin ise bu önemli organizasyonun ev sahibi olarak final biletini zorlayacak. İki ekibimize de başarılar dileriz.

*TRT Spor Yıldız'dan naklen yayınlanacak olan maç.

*İlk periyot sonucu 27-20 Fenerbahçe lehine. Mersin seyircisinin desteği ile etkili başlayıp 5'er sayılık farklar yakaladı ama 17-16'dan 7 sayılık seriyle dönen Fenerbahçe rüzgarı arkasına aldı ve son anları iyi oynayarak farkı 7'ye oturttu.

*İçeriye Fenerbahçe 48-42'lik üstünlükle gitti. Mersin 6 sayılık seriyle periyoda girdi. Bir an 34-34'te dengeyi de kurdu ama ötesini getiremedi. Kontrolü tuttu Kanarya ve hiç geri düşmeden bu bölümü de halletti. İki ekibin bu sezonki en heyecanlı randevusu oluyor diyebiliriz.

*Üçüncü çeyreğin ardından Fenerbahçe durumu 66-62 yaptı. Mersin çok yakın takipte ama Fenerbahçe de o tonda cevap verince üstünlük el değiştirmiyor. Sarı Lacivertliler zaman zaman farkı 8'e yükseltse de çeyreğin sonlarını iyi oynayan Mersin yaklaşmayı başardı. Son bölümde iki takım için de heyecanın vitesi artacak.

*Maçı 89-80 alan Fenerbahçe bir kez daha Final biletini elde eden taraf oldu. Mersin son bölümde geri döndü. 3 kez beraberliği sağladı ama Fenerbahçe yine geri düşmedi. 76-76'dan sonra Mersin'in de gardı düştü biraz ve 13-4'lük sekansın ardından son şampiyon Kanarya üst üste 3. defa finale adını yazdırdı. İki ekibimize de teşekkürler. Belki geçen seneki gibi yine final olmayı hak ediyordu. Final Four'un ev sahibi Mersin artık üçüncülük ile evinde en azından bir madalya ile kapatmaya bakacak. Fenerbahçe Alagöz Holding'de Kayla McBride 25, Emma Meesseman 17 sayı attı. Nikolina Milic 15 sayı - 11 ribaund ile ikili çifte sundu. ÇBK Mersin'de ise Stephanie Mavunga 20, Kahleah Copper 19 sayı kaydetti.
