Aha I noticed your reqs were open so um... How would you feel about doing a Kaname/Reader fic where the reader is an idol and was a friend/lover of Kaname before the coma, but Kaname wakes up and they're not sure if Kaname would still love them after such a long time... And they avoid him because they're afraid of being rejected, but he still loves them even if they've changed a lot... And Kaname catches the reader later and re-confesses all his feelings to them, saying he doesn't want them to leave, and the reader accepts it.

"Good work, as usual, [Name]." Anzu cheered, handing you a cold glass of water. You could only return a tired smile at the Producer, as you practically chugged the drink down your throat.

Just another performance, is it not? A lump formed in your throat upon the thought of a 'performance'. Perhaps, it was something that you had wanted to stay far away from. Though, in the back of your mind, you knew that you wouldn't be able to, even if you tried.

"[Name]?" You finally heard the Producer's calls after several attempts of trying to grab your attention. Anzu gave you a look of worry, patting your back in hopes of reassurance.

"Ah, sorry… I spaced out. What's wrong?" She shakes her head, guiding you back to your personal dressing room, only to be greeted by a familiar blue-haired man.

That was Anzu's cue to leave. She politely excused herself with a bow and ran off to report the success of your performance.

"HiMERU," You gave the man a small nod. It was difficult to resist — the throbbing pain in your heart whenever you see him. You knew he isn't the person you love, and he knew that you caught on with his 'mission.'

HiMERU played his role as Kaname Tojo, your lover, the one you failed to protect. Though, all this pretending, and tricking your friends into believing that Kaname is well, felt wrong. The guilt was becoming too much to handle.

"Kaname's awake." Was all he said. Nothing else, no other explanation, leaving you in a state of multiple emotions at once.

Were you relieved? Happy? Of course, you had to be happy, right? But… why does it feel like you're more anxious than excited? Is it because it's been so long, that you're starting to doubt Kaname's love for you?

'Right, that has to be it… it has been quite a long time, hasn’t it? There's no way he'd still feel the same.' You thought, words refusing to come out of your mouth while HiMERU stood by the doorframe. He is just as shaken as you are.

"I'm… sorry, I—" Your attempt to leave immediately failed once your gaze locked with those familiar, bright yellow ones. The gaze that made you feel at home.

"[Name]…" Swearing that you heard Kaname's voice crack a little. You were scared, anxious and confused. The look on his face did not help with the extreme anxiety buried in your chest — though, the expression he had was unreadable.

"I have to go…" You simply said, hastily making your way to the other side of the building, in hopes of avoiding Kaname. 'Maybe,' you thought, 'It's for the best.'

Because things can't go back to the way it used to.

Kaname was confused, angry — not at you, but at himself. Why were you avoiding him? Why won't you let him talk? Did you not love him anymore?

He felt heavy. Everytime he tried approaching you, he'd be bombarded with excuses. Avoidance is something that he can't handle, especially when it comes to you.

This time, he isn't letting you get away that easily anymore.

"I'm sorry, Tojo… I can’t today. Huh? W-wait, what are you doing?!"

Kaname didn’t fail to catch the flustered look on your face when he had suddenly pushed you inside an empty room. He surpressed his giggle as your expression turned into a look of distress and panic.

"Hey! Seriously, I have to-.." You slowly gave in, growing silent as Kaname's gaze pierced into your soul. Nervously looking to the side to avoid eye contact, and to save you from the embarrassment, you swallowed the lump in your throat and motioned for the boy to speak.

"Why are you avoiding me?" He asked, with a slight shake in his voice. Was he trying to hold back his tears?

"Tojo—"

"No! My name isn't Tojo. So, stop calling me that It's Kaname, call me Kaname!" He snapped, holding you in place do that you wouldn't be able to escape.

"I just want to know why… you hate me…" Kaname looked down, hiding his face from you. He didn't want to let you catch a glimpse of the beads of tears forming in the corner of his eyes. He just wanted to know, why?

You were left speechless. Words weren't coming out, even if you attempted to speak by opening your mouth.

"…I still love you, [Name]. We loved each other! What went wrong…? Is it because I’ve been gone for so long that you found someone else?" Kaname finally found the courage to look up, tears that he had been holding back threatening to drop.

"Do you not love me anymore? Am I not 'your Kaname' anymore? Did you fall out of love?"

"Kaname,"

"I'm not accepting that! I don't want you to leave!"

"Kaname…"

"What? If you want me gone, just say it!"

"Kaname!"

There, he grew silent. He anticipated your reponse, yet, he felt scared. Are you going to leave him?

"S—…rry…" You choked out, letting the trapped tears escape. Kaname was taken aback. ‘I knew it’ he thought.

"I'm sorry! I was scared too… I didn’t know what to do! I thought you didn't love me anymore, so I avoided you to ease the pain…" You weren't even aware of how fast you spoke. It was silent for a while, until your shaking hands were comforted by Kaname's warm ones.

He scoffed, as if he was mocking you. "Are you stupid? I never even dreamt of leaving you!" A single teardrop escaped his eye, making him bury his face against the crook of your neck, his breath slightly tickling your neck.

"I love you." Kaname's embrace still felt so natural. He was warm, and made you feel so… safe.

"Nothing's changed,"

"So please, don't leave me…" He choked out a sob, relief washing all over his body when he felt your body relax against his.

"Please come back to me, [Name]…"

You sighed, placing your lips ontop of his head, giving him a quick peck before completely collpasing on the ground with his body draped against yours.

"I love you too, Kaname… I won't leave you, ever."

You stared at the diary entre you made and stared at the two people out in the garden. It been a while since you arrive at this time period.

You don't count the days that passes by as if the concept of time doesn't matter to you at the moment.

"heyyy get out of the house and have some fun outside!" The old tojou called out to you. You put down your pen and stood up to go to them.

There some questions in your mind that seems to run again.

You forgot why you wanted to go to this place again. But you really need to find a way back before people gets a wrong idea of you not aging even a day in this time period.

"wow your friend sure kinda w--aw." Jun was smacked before he can comment about you after reading how you start to forget about some stuff. Mainly your obsession to go to that place from of place. It's not even Disney! Kaname cannot help but sigh after he look at the hand whiting of yours.

"it's been a while since we start this project and theres no sign of them returning yet." Hiyori began as he sip his drink.

He don't want to break it to his new friend who's his very close with about how hopeless the situation is.

He don't know what's up much with the dollmaker and darling doll business the idols that close to you are busy with since you were gone for almost a year now.

"No. Theyll return." Kaname gives him a determine look.

Hiyori can only sigh as he look at Kaname looking at the entre again and remember a few months back certain Sakuma have left to who knows where and the information about it is only been told by ibara.

"those problematic dolls and idols are not taking their job seriously as long that dollmaker did not return. So I taken it my own hand to fix it."

The so called evil vice president says as he fix his glasses. "Oh my how kind of you." The green haired idol tease.

"of course not." The vice president denied as he show a map to Hiyori. "It's just a deal to be made."

"exchange for me to tell that young Sakuma, I'll get full right to access a certain land." He point a red circle marked in the map. "It's fair trade."

Hiyori wonder what's up with the mind of that dollmaker, planning something that far off yet did not come home yet.

Within few days the young Sakuma left to somewhere again.

"hiii." You look at the young child that's pulling your cloths. You give her a look to shoo her off to her father side but she just giggle and hugs you more. "Don't be rude." You were told off by The old tojou when you pulled thr child off you, leeching on you like a koala. And went outside.

"I dunno what ya mean. That child is being too close to me. It's a bad thing cause she'll get nothing but bad influence from me." You commented as you held out your hand to the fluffy souls that quickly rest in your palm. Purple-blue and blue-green one is the first to rest in your arms.

"I wonder what's going on the other end..." You mumble as you stared at the fluffy balls thats surrending you. All familiar yet not. "Mmmccccccccc...." The little lady of the estate called out to you, running toward you with her little legs can do.

"Ah... Your daughter kinda weird." You mumble as you dodge the attempt of human interaction with the child making her trip to the ground. It was already kinda weird when that kid been attach to you since day one. Toujou sure are one of a kind.

"wahhh... Wahhh." The child cries and you look at her and her father who's giving you a look. You sigh as you reach out to held her up and dust her face. "Don't cry little one." You tries to comfort her, she look at you with tearful eyes and slowly reach out to held your hand. Pulling her up she looks at you up close and cannot help but awe.

In her eyes, you seems like a beautiful mystical being that never age even a day. Yet in her young mind she felt she will see you leave one day. Tears began to fall from her eyes and you were concern for a moment cause maybe you look scary to her now. You put her down but she did not budge and hugs you securely.

"you sure have some charisma to some insane level." The dad said hopeless as he realize his daughter is hopeless and have a crush on you it seems. What a bad taste. He thought as he look at the souls around you who seems to adore you very well, some seems to be more than others.

"I have been told..." You mumble. Through you forget who. Ah. Your memories is getting hazy.

Who was the one telling you have too many flings again...? Who are the fling.... Your eyes widen as you realize your slowly forgetting something. Where they important?

Snow fall the nth time, you stared at the white fluff and wonder.

The longer a soul is out of its body, the more they'll lost their own sense of self...

Kaname's cuddles are warm and cozy, refusing to let you go whenever he'd get lost in his thoughts and daydreams. It usually ends up with the both of you asleep or getting up to grab a snack and forget to go back to your original position.

Kaname prefers quiet and peaceful times where the both of you can bond and silently enjoy each other’s company.

It hasn’t been long since Kaname got discharged from the hospital, but the moment he had finally seen you, he already knew that he was going to spend every single day with you.

With his arms wrapped around your wait and his chin ontop of your head, he hummed a song— a song that you and him once listened during his first year, when you had recently gotten into a relationship.

"You know, you should spend time with your brother and your friends as well." You said, shivering at the thought of his elder brother staring at you while Kaname jogs alongside you instead of him.

Kaname whined, grumbling under his breath. "They can spend time with me after I'm done spending time with you… I wanna stay like this for years." His grip around your waist tightened, as his eyes remained shut.

You playfully pinched the skin on his forearm, turning your head upwards to press a gentle kiss on his jaw.

"Don't fall asleep now, Tojo! You have an appointment in a few minutes…" With him being used to your scolding, Kaname only chuckled and returned the kiss on your temple.

"Hehe… right, right… I couldn't help it! I just missed you s'much." He grins, now staring at you with a bright blush on his face. You couldn’t help but pinch his cheeks, slightly tugging on them.

"You're so cute~ Keep that up, maybe I'll even let you cuddle me for the rest of the night."

"Just for the night?" He complains.

"You're so clingy!"

Tilting your head with the back side of his blade as he lean down at your form, looking hoe frail and hopeless you are bringing nothing but pure amusement in his eyes, how foolish do you think you are too act such way in front of him?

In the darkness you walk aimlessly, a small figure appear before you holding a lantern.

His golden eyes reflect your image as he reach out his hand to you. It was that small spider who you give your pie too.

"come over here... to kana." He smile joyfully as you approaches him as you reach closer to him, the small form of his change, now instead of a child, he become a young adult who's taller than you.

He held your hand with his free hand that ain't holding the lantern.

"kana can only guide you back to the mansion and stay conscious a bit... " He and you start to walk on the dark path.

" Who... " You wonder why he seems so different from who you saw earlier today yet even if you ask who he was, the sense of familiarity comes in mind.

When the two of you come to the end of the darkness to a door, he stops and turn to you with a sad smile.

"I'm sad I can only be with you in such state... But please don't be careless again, MC." He lean to give you a soft kiss on top of your forehead before he open the door.

"Kana wish to see you again but that mean you have to go through pain... I can only watch you in my dormant state, so be careful... That person can only do so little to change your fate....
