WIP Game

Thanks @coffeebanana and @rosie-b for the tag, and thank you @kasienda for coming up with this new game!

List the titles your top five priorities for WIP updates (link your fics for new readers!)

WIP TITLES

So I'm kind of cheating a bit with my choices here I guess since I have a lot of ideas but not so many actual active WiPs. So some of these aren't actually stuff that has been posted (or not posted in fic form) but they're all what my rodent brain is rotating right now.

Bell the Cat - Ladyblanc Knight AU. Enemies to Reluctant Allies to Lovers. Plenty of angst and trauma to be had in this one!

2. Sad Machine - Not currently available. I'm attempting aiming to have the fic more or less completed before I start posting. Futurist/Cyberpunk-type AU. No Miraculous but there's a dash of vigilantism and mysterious happenings to solve. And some questionable ethics (thanks Gabe).

3. Porceline Girl - Emonette and Badrien (post Paris Special) Oneshot that I'm hoping to finish soon. They're just angsty teens trying to figure out what is love how to be around each other.

4. Kaleidoscope - (not currently a posted fic so link leads to my tumblr tag) Kwami Swap AU with a dose of amnesia! Love Square is a mess in this with a Reunioned Ghostbug trying to solve all the problems. Adrien needs a coffee and a nap. Tikki needs a drink.

5. Citrus and Lavender - Enemies to Lovers AU with Chat Noir being deceived into being on Hawk Moth's side from the very beginning. The kids need therapy and Gabriel needs jail.

UPCOMING

There's is so much I'm looking forward to with Bell the Cat, but with the upcoming chapters I'm excited about introducing some more characters into this world! And of course all the Ladyblanc banter to be had!

2. This is my little pet project at the moment that I am slow roasting in the microwave. There are so many things that I am foaming at the mouth for that I want to just spit the fic out onto ao3 already but I'm trying to go slow with this one.

3. I'm just excited to feed myself more Toxigriffe, even if its in Adrinette form. I have so many ideas for these two but this oneshot is the closest to being finished. I'm excited to have it done (soon! hopefully!)!

4. Another one that's been slow roasting for a bit. I'll admit I'm still undecided with how I want to post this - do I go full fanfic on ao3 with it? Or a webcomic-style on tumblr? Perhaps a hybrid of both? I normally go with writing for longer stories, but this AU really got its interest and following through my random comics of it. It's exciting to think about my options as I could really challenge myself with it (even if opting for a more webcomic style is terrifying in its own way).

5. We're finally reaching the point in the story where Ladynoir are trying to transition from stalwart enemies to shy and unsure partners. All sides of the love square are standing on bambi legs right now as things are very new and scary - but at least they'll slowly learn they have each other to lean on!

I think most of my usual victims have been tagged already - so consider this an open invitation to anyone who wants to do it! I'm tagging you! Yes, you!

Jujutsu Kaisen: Gojo Satoru X Reader

(Kaleidoscope Series || Clouds and Mochi Chapters ||)

[Jumping rope and family bonding]

[Notes & Warning: Saika's birthday mentions, mentions of Gojo clan, majorly family fluff, implied pregnancy—nothing too explicit, Word Count: 1.8k]

Hop

Amused, Satoru observes his toddler pacing back and forth, hopping like a bunny ever since you brought her and Kouki back home from the playground.

His little princess doesn't seem to notice his presence as she hops and hops around making Satoru curious about how long until she comes running to him and demands something unexpected.

"Hon, psst!" You frowned at your husband's calling. Satoru waves his hand, motioning you to come. "Did something happen in the playground?" Satoru held your waist bringing you in front of his spread legs to hoist you above his lap.

"She got too excited playing jump rope with the other kids," your arms wrap around Satoru's neck and buried your head into his shoulder, the familiar scent of eucalyptus with a hint of aftershave and chocolate melted your exhaustion.

Satoru notice your heavy sigh and began to rub your back, up and down, loosening your muscles as he peppers kisses to your neck.

"Want me to tuck you in bed? I'll make dinner." He offered, sensing your body is starting to grow lax and lean on him.

"Make dinner, but..." You trailed down and kiss the shell of his ear. "I'll stay here."

"Hmm, fine by me. What do you want for dinner Cat?" Satoru called out to the hopping little girl.

"I want apple candy!" She giggled when she saw you sitting on Satoru's lap and ran up to you. Her little pudgy arms wrap around your legs.

"Mama, can we go to the park tomorrow, again?"

"But you promised Oba-chan and Oji-chan you'll come celebrate your birthday in advance with them tomorrow."

Your parents who are staying in a hotel nearby are excited to spend their day with Kouki and Saika before you leave for Sapporo for Sai's birthday.

Satoru immediately sensed the little girl's face fell and thought to herself.

"Why do you wanna go to the park tomorrow, Princess?" He asked.

"I wanna play jumping rope! Do you know how to play jumping rope Papa? I can jump..." Saika counted on her fingers and showed to her father, "I can jump up to three!"

"Papa knows jumping rope too," Satoru bragged. "How 'bout you ask Oba-chan and Oji-chan to play with us tomorrow? You like that?"

"Like!" Her innocent blue eyes sparkled and beamed delightedly from her Papa's bright idea. "Kiku-nii!" Kouki emerged from the staircase, yawning and rubbing his eyes.

Saika briskly ran down and came crushing to her brother for a hug, it made the sleepy Kouki stumble, and fall like a defeated doggy but he perfectly cushioned his sister's little body from the floor.

"Still sleepy?" Saika poked her brother's fluffy milky cheeks.

"Sai didn't we talk about not running into people?" You sighed but couldn't get angry when Kouki, instead of getting up, rather he closed his eyes then yawned and wrap his arms around his little sister, and started dozing off the floor.

Saika didn't mind, seemingly accustomed to suddenly being caught in the arms to sleep, and just returned the hug to her brother too, patting Kikufuku's shoulder and singing the nursery rhyme Satoru taught her in a cute voice that sounded almost as squishy as a marshmallow that you'll melt.

"Winkle, winkle wittle star, how I wonder what you are. Up above the world so high like a dia..." She stopped singing.

"Like a diamond in the sky," Kouki groggily continued for her.

"Oh yeah! Like a diayond in the sky, Winkle winkle wittle star," she sang despite fumbling and the little not-so-right lyrics.

Perhaps Papa needs to do some more vocal lessons for his little princess to sing just as amazing as him.

The whole time Satoru was filming it on his phone, ah! What a nice day indeed.

The next day, you woke up early with Satoru and surprised Saika with her favorite strawberry breakfast. She's got an unhealthy obsession with strawberries. After breakfast, Satoru got them a bath and you loaded your luggage in the car, bound for the hotel you're gonna spend the day.

Saika dived right into her grandparents' arms while Kouki bravely went to the reception desk and checked in. Your seven years old son doesn't look anything near fazed as he talks with the personnel. Satoru's there behind him but clearly, he has no intention of taking over and just letting the little guy do all the talking.

You already bought the long jumping rope as promised to your little girl. You left the two kids with their grandparents and went up with Satoru to your suite to unpack the light luggage you brought for a three-day stay.

"Is something the matter 'Toru?" You glance in Satoru's direction. He's been staring at his phone with a grim face that it's worrying you. Today's not a day for such dark expressions.

"My parents are asking if they can come over for Cat's birthday."

Oh. You shrug. There's nothing wrong with grandparents wanting to come for their grandchild's birthday, not to mention it was Satoru's mother who stayed by your side for most of the time you were heavily pregnant with the Little Treasure.

"Why not? Saika has only met them in LINE." That was when you video called the Gojo Estate because Kouki was insisting to see his grandparents. Your toddler was filled with scrutiny to talk with her Grandmother and Grandfather but sat beside her brother anyway. However, Satoru's face says otherwise, clearly, he has no plans for that thing to occur. "Ask Sai later, if she wants to meet her grandparents on your side."

Listening to your words despite wanting to drop off the idea, Satoru sighed. As much as he wants to keep his kids away from those matters, he doesn't want his children to grow up questioning why they only have one pair of grandparents. After sending a short message of tentative agreement, the reply immediately came back with a positive reaction and underlying excitement from his parents.

"Papa! Watch me," Saika beamed when she saw you and Satoru approaching them in the garden of the hotel. Kouki is eating at the side. Your parents are holding the ends of the rope and Saika is getting ready to jump. "One, Two, Three, Four—" she counted with a thrill every time she hop on the grass.

Satoru smirked and grab a seat, spreading his legs and pulling you down on his lap.

"Satoru!" You reprimanded. This might be normal in your house but right now you're in an open space and such displays are not openly welcomed.

"What? There's no other chair unless you want to sit on the grass."

"I'll stand," you pried off his hand from your waist but to no avail, your husband slid his glasses down the bridge of his tall nose and gave you a sizing look as if telling 'really? try me'. "Satoru," this time you hissed in warning when another couple with kids pass by and covered the eyes of their children.

"Kikufuku do you mind me and Mama being touchy?" Satoru turned to his son eating some cheesecake.

The mochi look at the two of you with dry interest and continued his peaceful dining. The amount of time he's seen his parents all over each other doesn't faze him any bit. Moreover, his Papa will sneak Mama away no matter what protest he voices out anyway.

"See? Even our son is TOTALLY okay with it, now sit properly Hon," Satoru squeeze your hips making you yelp.

"You're not watching!" Saika complained from afar with an accusing glare. "I reached 11 but you didn't see!" She cried in annoyance.

"I saw it! But Mama didn't. Can you do it again Cat?" Satoru chirped. "Look at Cat, Mama is bad for looking in the other direction." Satoru mimicked his daughter's childish high-pitched voice.

"How about Mama do the rope swinging sweetie?" You offered to get away from your current predicament. Besides that, your parents also seem to get tired of your energetic bunny.

"Papa should jump then, I'm tired," your toddler huffed and crossed her arms on her chest.

"Your knees are weak Cat. If that's Papa I can do 1000 in just 6 minutes," Satoru bragged. You rolled your eyes and use that to slip away from his hands. Running in Saika's direction.

"But you can't even horseback me and Kiku-nii anymore Papa, you said because you have arthitis," Saika frowned.

"Arthritis Cat, not arthitis." Satoru sweatdropped. That was just because he's so dead tired but cannot turn down his kids asking to play with him the moment he came home from an overseas week-long mission. "I'll show you I can beat you." Satoru stood up and walk in your way.

"Really? Arthritis?" You cocked a brow at the stupid reason. "Maybe it's your calling to start drinking milk."

Satoru shrugs and leans over your ears.

"When I'm done with you tonight, I'll be having that milk in the next nine months"

"Satoru!"

Sticking his tongue out he asked your Dad to give him the rope.

"C'mon Cat, show me what you got. If you can't do 10 jumps, I'll eat your strawberry cake at dinner."

"Noooo!" Horror painted Saika's face and gathered enough motivation to overthrow her father and defend her strawberry cake. You and Satoru start swinging the top and Saika hops up and down.

"One! Two! Mama, Papa is cheating!"

Under the umbrella, your parents sat down just in time for Kouki to be done eating, rubbing his stomach.

"Won't you join them Kouki?"

Kikufuku shook his head and reach for his Papa's phone left on the table, swiping it open with the four of you wearing some unicorn headband and posing for wacky in the wallpaper, Kouki navigated to the camera and start videoing his sister hopping like a bunny while Satoru does some underhanded tactics with the rope, on the other end is you who's arms are about to fall off with Satoru's frantic swinging.

"Kiku-nii! Papa is cheating me!" Saika called out for help.

"Just eat his creme brulee later at lunch," Kouki smirked at the video.

"Kikufuku you traitor, I can't believe you'll drop me like this," Satoru gasped, dramatically clutching his chest and faked a sob because of his firstborn's treachery.

"What makes you think I'll order dessert for you when my arms are dying here?" You hissed and held your shoulders.

"No dessert for Papa!" Saika giggled in victory and stuck her tongue out.

Satoru fell down the grass and acted dead from the betrayal. Saika flung herself on top of her father, pinning him down, Kouki let go of the phone and ran to join the riot throwing himself onto his father's stomach. Satoru grabs your ankle earning a shrill scream from you while he shelters your fall beside him, the four of you rolling on the grass in laughter.
