Hi! My name is Kabuto and I’m the goofer behind Aphids/Bugstuck and a ton of original work.
Unfortunately, due to stuff outside my powers, I’m going to have to move again soon :( which is scary and sucks. I’m not thrilled about it, but I don’t have a choice. I’m hoping people might enjoy my work enough to help cover rent and food!
While I’m still struggling to find a part-time job, getting paid for art means more time to make the Cool Content you guys want to see. I spend around 30 hours a week drawing, both to improve my abilities and complete projects. With your support I can draw your requests+work on aphids without having to stress so much. I’d like to release 3 pages or more a week along with a regular ask requests! Designing characters is super fun for me, after all! :Y

Every time I watch Kabuto I get a little more deranged like ohhhhhh the Worms can be possessed by the spirits of their own faces this is known this is a death sentence to a Worm one way or another. Worms as evolution with a loss of humanity. Worms as aliens but as ghosts they can’t come back wrong if they were never truly the original except there are times when they are one in the same and each time the dichotomy kills them. Now This Is Kamen Rider.

Kabuto's such a weird guy because he sorta befriends naruto, gives him advice and willingly helps him but afterwards he immediately drops out the exams so he can do some sketchy villain shit. He then tried to kill sasuke at some point until orochimaru was like oh hes my new body and he just goes ok boss. Oh and he also fought kakashi and got away and kakashi acknowledges how powerful he is and never thinks to bring it up to anyone else. He then betrays naruto without him even knowing up until they go out to find tsunade which is MONTHS after the chunin exams. He proceeds to beat the shit out of him whilst acting as orochimarus arms because he lost them and he was probably also wiping his ass at this point. He then leaves with orochimaru and plays nurse for a good few years until orochimaru was done shedding his skin or whatever he does as a weird snake immortal human tri hybrid and then when he does appears in shippunden hes feigning as a spy attempting to kill sasori of all people a member of the most dangerous organisation in naruto what the fuck was he thinking.
He's loyal but freakishly off putting to any outsiders because hes out here sacrificing anyone for orochimaru and speaking as if hes the centre of your world because he expects naruto uzumaki of all people just to know hes orochimarus left hand man slash special guy

The reasons I love Itachi Uchiha
He made the supreme sacrifice, both personal and moral. Contrary to the popular belief, it was not for the sake of Konoha, but for Sasuke.
He always took the responsibility of his actions and mistakes and never blamed others for his sufferings. He doesn't blame Konoha for the Uchiha downfall or his own pains, he blamed himself (and the Uchiha, too, to some extent for their downfall). He doesn't blame Sasuke for turning out how he did; Itachi blamed himself.
He only knew how to give. Never expected anything in return. He gave his everything to Sasuke and his village, without ever expecting anything in return. Not even forgiveness.
The guilt of his wrongdoings surpassed his desire to rest, which he would have wanted because he was so exhausted and devastated after the massacre. He still waited for Sasuke to get strong and kill him. Did I mention this was a PAINFUL wait for him?
Like Obito said, his life was devoted to Sasuke as was his death. Kabuto noted the same - even after death, Itachi wanted to protect Sasuke.

hey guys what if the reason kabuto disliked sasuke was not just because he was disrespectful towards orochimaru. but also because one of the most traumatic events of kabuto's life was when he accidentally killed his mother, and now here comes this random kid talking about how he's going to kill his older brother, the only family member he has left, on purpose and enjoy it too.
so like i think you can kinda see how that would piss kabuto off a little bit.

// One of the most hardest part of writing Kabuto for me is writing him in a shippy or smut thread since to me mostly. Kabuto has always came off as an Asexual or grey sexual since despite that the fandom has shipped him with Orochimaru so many times. But for me, it seems more like him being a devoted follower to them. And it’s not just to Orochimaru but to many other people as he never seems to want to form any kind of bonds towards them. Both platonic and romantic.
And another thing is writing him as someone with a healthy (or not) sex life, because the character himself is very introverted and admittingly distant to many people and while I’m going to ignore that filler of him flirting and getting creepy with Guren since again.
It’s not him and fillers are very unreliable and made up.
It also counts as writing him as a dominant partner, a submissive partner, or even a switch. Since to be honest, I seem to have written him as a sub in a past smut thread and muse himself was more comfortable in that role. Even if I am wondering if it depends on the character on who’s he’s shipped with.
So I guess I could say that it’s hard to decide to write him as someone who is able to seek out sex and flings from other people, or is he so closed off that only a veeery few people have had sex with him or if he’s really a dom, sub, or a switch. But I am doing my best and it’s the reason why people don’t see smut threads on my blog that much.
Because Kabuto is so damn picky with his partners and is more annoyed with a lot of people than have sex with them.

Keiwa is Kagami in that he is by the book and he means well and every bit of his energy says in another show he could be the hero, but he does not enter with the STRENGTH to match, overtaken by someone strong but strange (and dedicated to a path based on the family he lost young). Keiwa is Kagami in that the universe seems to have it out to get him but he finds a way to push on anyways and that strength gains him the respect and power he needs. Keiwa is Kagami in that it takes him to time to extricate himself from a system that doesn’t truly work because he’s helping people however he can. Keiwa is Kagami in that he loves his sibling dearly and he works as hard as he can and he is so very human. But so very good.
Keiwa is Kiba in that he is so very human, too. Keiwa is Kiba in that he tries to do good but he must convince himself that he is right, and does he even really know what that means? Keiwa is Kiba in that things get more complicated and he refuses to see it because if he does it all falls apart so it’s easier to listen to what he is told and believe he is right and it doesn’t MATTER the details people are DYING this is to SAVE PEOPLE! Keiwa is Kiba in that too much faith was put into him and there is darkness and ignorance in his heart and he tries anyways but it will never be enough. Keiwa is Kiba in that no one sees how human he is until it’s too late.
