Listen. TLOU knew what they were doing when they spent that whole opening sequence focusing on Joel's(/Pedro's) hands. They aren't dumb. They wanted to lure us into a false sense of thirstiness and then punch us in the face for 60 minutes. Without using those incredible hands.

I really hope you know the joy you're instilling in me watching you discover The Princess Bride for the first time. I love how much it surprised you and how much you loved it!

Yes!! I went into it with no idea what it's about but it really feels like a perfect movie. Had the perfect balance of taking itself seriously and knowing when to keep it light. All the characters were great, I love the fact it's being told from the grandpa's point of view. Idk if the book is like that too but it's very cool to be in the place of the grandson. Even the pacing was good, it wasn't long at all but it felt long and I didn't want it to be over!

I think I'm ready for the retelling now LOL
