For some reason, I decided that drawing my own maps for my archaeology project was a good idea. Bc there were no maps that had all the sites I wanted to reference. So obviously hand drawing new ones was the most logical choice

Archaeologist buddies exploring forgotten religions and civilisations and restoring ancient monuments on different servers and exchanges letters about their findings and techniques - or, fuck it, make the goat mother one of Philza's unknown godlike entities and have them team up. Or au it and have them work for the same uni, or at least on the same project.

ohhh good question, lets see if i remember cause i changed my og online name to it Years ago now. uh. im pretty sure that while i was trying to puzzle out my new name, i got really fascinated with bogs and bog bodies. and yk, bog isn't a word commonly used for names! so i thought it was neat and good enough - i figured that if it wore wrong, i could always change it

so yeah tldr i think bogs / bog bodies are cool, and bog is a funky word. funnily enough, im terrified of bogs. you could not pay me to go near one

the nice thing about the dmbj shows i have experienced so far is that the anthropology/archaeology studying side of me has only found reason to despair at the characters because of some of their methodology and not because they're committing egregious cultural disrespect, what a refreshing change this is

i had like a really normal day where i opened tumblr after work to check my notifs and found that my favorite dnd podcast had followed me (hi @diceshamepodcast)

I can't decide which interpretation of c!Pix I like best in terms of old titan vs confused Indiana Jones so I propose that we throw in a little bit of crossover and have him be the ancient librarian for a certain void library that a certain Tango "discovered" and he was sent on a mission by [retracted] to research these funky empires people and ended up stuck or smth. To tie it into s1 maybe the copper king was the one to start the library after the other empires fell (Sry just wanted to ramble)

*mind is spinning* okay so first: you can have as many headcanons as you want. they don't have to mesh, they can be wildly contradictory. this is fine, and good, and the end result of being in any fandom.

But yes yes yes I am loving the concept of ridiculously practical and capable, down-to-earth, gives-up-on-hardcore-because-he-got-bored, never-dies, Survival Guide-flavor Pixlriffs working for some interdimensional research institution with its headquarters in a pocket of Void. He gets assigned this world and shows up with a mountain of research and notes about its history and is supposed to Prime Directive this group of burgeoning empires into a new golden age.

Also this works SO well with the vibes of his mining session with fWhip where fWhip falls and dies and fights and runs and Pix is just casually coming along behind him like "Oh right, I'm supposed to act like this is dangerous."
