I think we all know that feeling when you hear a song and immediately imagine all the scenarios in your head? Yeah, this is one of those! I mentioned I wanna do a little bit more with Vince's and Judy's friendship. Because, lesbian-gay-solidarity <3 And me just loving Judy sm in general xD

Like, Judy and Vince are two people that would probably have never met, hadn't it been for Evelyn and the heist, so different their backgrounds and social circles. But what instantly connected them was that they're both nerds for tech-stuff. In some ways, they really mirror each other so nicely, in others they contradict each other, and it's this equilibrium and balance that I really love about their dynamic. Judy gets Vince down from his high horse, making him reconsider some of his views, and Vince looks out for her to not bite off more than she can chew when picking her battles, backing her up. And they have a similar taste in music, too! When you drive with Judy in her van, she's listening to Radio Vexelstrom, and in her apartment Johnny comments on her band posters disapprovingly ("Blergh, Electropunk" or sth like that XD). Both of these are instances of what Vince also enjoys, music-wise. So, while I don't necessarily see Judy as someone who goes out to dance and party much, maybe he did convince her some time to come along to a themed night at a club with some favourite bands of theirs in the playlist. Cause sometimes you just need to dance to some loud angry music with your friends for a couple of hours to forget how shitty everything else is.

hey yall genuine call to action here. i need to find a book series i read in middle school that i can’t remember the name of at all

so the book was formatted as a collage of several different notes, school planners, grades, teachers notes, text messages, diary entries, crumpled wrappers or used objects (this would all be on the same page material, it was not actually multimedia) and it all told the fictional story of a young middle school girl who lost her dad not that long ago and wants her mother to marry her boyfriend so she can have a nuclear family again, but she realizes that the transition there is rocky and her grades begin to suffer, and you can see notes pop up of teachers asking if she’s okay, texts about how awful a sleepover was at her house because of her stepdad, etc. there’s also a sequel where the mom has a baby with the stepdad and they have to deal with him being a premie and the stepdad is maybe weird about it

specific details i remember are that the main character can’t drink milk without getting sick because her dad was getting milk for her cereal when he died, the mom being a lawyer and having to resign bc of the baby (or got fired), and the stepdad was a weird war guy

#i need to know this bc of the way the book was put together in the collage way i mentioned. bc i wanna try that for a project #i remember thinking ''oh this is such a cool way to put a book together''#i always really liked books that break thet norm like stream of consciousness stuff #another fave kinda like this that i remember is serendipity and me by judy roth #or judith roth #and it was like a lot of stream of consciousness poems and i remember the book almost made me cry #bc it just captured the helplessness and pain and joy of being a young child who lost their mother and how she moves on so well #it was SO good and it made me love serendipity as a word #echoed voice

I constantly have an image in my head of all the blorbos I've ever had but split into separate rooms of male and female, the male one is inhumanely crowded with every fictional man I've ever had a crush on (and to make things worse some of them are still rotating) and the female one is just barren
