Work in Progress(es)
I won't go on the spill, you know what day it is, and I do things when I want.
Tumblr media
Lets start with DOGTOWN SAFE HOUSE. I'm working on making things a bit more homey for V3AH. It's a slow progress. Also if someone could help me figure out how to move the sleep icon up from the bed thats there, that would be great. Right now she clips thru the bed to sleep on that dirty ass mattress.
How the apartment pod even got up there is a mystery to us all, but its gonna stay. I already have some changes to it i'm wanting to do. maybe i'll release the preset when im done.
MOVING ON--
I've been working on some Lore for the 2077 timeline, still working on the name of it.. I've been..... Scheming.... if you will with @fly-amanitaa about some of the directions I plan to take. WHAT I CAN INDULGE, is public knowledge.... and by that i mean it's been posted in my Delusional corner for a week, so my besties already got first dibs.
Kang Tao reigns as the Apex of Night City with the help of Shin Chae-Rin joining the Engineering department. Gong-Ji and the Cheol Family have taken over after the construct of Jung Ho-Seok aka Jago (Jay-Go) was ripped out of him to prevent certain Terror on the city if reunited with his Wife, Panthera, who has been missing for nearly 10 years now. The Night Jackie and V3AH break into Konpeki Tower and preform the Heist, instead of being greeted with Arasaka family, it's the Cheol patriarch being murdered by Gong-Ji.
This storyline, plays directly off the second AU. Where Mara and Jago get married and at the end you see both borg’d out Jago and Mara closing in on an AV to Kang Tao tower, the plan is to destroy Gong-Ji and the rest of the Cheol family, rip it root and stem from the garden. They killed Jago’s whole family and have been in an active manhunt for him since the news doxxed his real identity.
Then, when Jago and Chae-rin split, Gong-Ji moves in with villian intentions to use her to kill her former lover, while keeping her for his own. Knowing how Jago really feels about Chae-Rin, when all else failed to get Chae-rin to Willingly come, Gong-Ji forced her to join Kang Tao and refuses to let her go unless Jago is killed. Chae-Rin, refuses to do it. She won’t be the one to give the command to kill someone she loves so much.
When Jago hears about her Capture, him and Mara fight for a while. The moment her name gets brought up, he always wants to run to her. It’s clear his feelings for her never left him, and Mara is sick of it. She agrees to do it, but she’s doing it to get back for taking his family. Not Chae-rin, and she will not extract her. He would have to do that himself. She’s sick of being second in his heart. The mission fails (still working on how that happened), Jago is captured and assumed to be dead. Mara narrowly escapes and is nearly dead when she calls Titus to evac her. She was already fading in and out of consciousness when Odessa shows to grab her. She was left in a recovery tank while they figured out what happened to Jago. No matter what they tried, Odessa nor Azimuth could find out what happened to Jago. All attempts ended the same, countless dying. Titus, knowing that Mara is basically Azimuths Adam smasher at this point, knows that she will go Berserk and kill everyone. Odessa had already made plans to leave earth and head to Europa where colonies were starting up. They loaded the Cryotank up with Mara inside and decided to keep her subdued until she got to Europa. Which is why Mara hasn’t been seen in 10 years and no one knows what happened to her. THUS explains as to how Mara ends up on Jupiter's moon with the rest of Night Raid Which bridges our lore from cyberpunk to Barotrauma.
LASTLY...
I mentioned I would talk about the unknown cutie that ya'll have been going crazy for!!!!! BABABABABABABAABAAAADAAAAAAAA!!!!!!\
Tumblr media
It's Joi! Yes, in the main storyline she was the Clinic A.I, but in the new AU, Water on Mars, i decided to make her human, and she is Mara's Rival for Jack's attention... one of them at least.
Let me tell you it was a struggle to make someone that might make Mara jealous, but honestly, I think this cutie will make Mara run for her eddies.
Joi (I dont have her last name yet I might have Joi as her handle....) is 29, she's a techie/netrunner who specializes in drones. Think of a hivemother, but with drones. That's her. She will join Mara's merc team when they cross paths, so now its a question.... Will Mara and Jack make it to the end or will Mara be replaced with the girl she hired to work with Jack?
Normally, Joi is my Android or A.I character, i normally only play her on Barotrauma, but I needed someone to make Mara sweat, and clearly the Media from Wellsprings Tells things, was too intimidated by Mara. (for good reason too, after Mara threatened her, she smashed in Gorge's mom's head in. Gorge is a 13 year old boy who was hired and looked after by Jack and Mara. I will tell ya'll why later.)
okay... so those are my WIPs for whenever. I have been tagged by so many people i can't even keep up with, but most recently: @glitchinginthegarden
tagging: @imaginarycyberpunk2023 @nananarc @juststayquiete @aggravateddurian @ghostoffuturespast @pacificaisstillpacifica @gloryride @streetkid-named-desire @cyberpsychotic-purgatory
no pressure. i tagged anyone whose interacted with me recently. so sorry if you already done one this week and tagged me, im fr lizard brain most the time.

Apollo: Yeah, yeah I get it. Public humiliation. Revenge. Keep Lyric out of the loop as long as possible. But why does it have to be at our house? Don't you live in a damn mansion?
Alex: Teenage tomfoolery in my safe haven? I think not.
Armin: This is going to be ex-quiz-it. I'll get the list going. We should probably split up before you know who sees us
Alex: Lyric? I believe skipped out during second period she hasn't been here in hours.
Apollo: No, he means-
Armin: dsafhaawefaih don't say her name! That's how you summon her.

Get To Know You game
Got tagged by @ah0yh0y THANKS BUDDY!!!! Here's the link to her original post
Questions: last song you listened to, currently watching, currently reading, current obsession
Last song: I'm listening to What Else Can I Do? from Encanto sung by Diane Guerrero and Stephanie Beatriz on repeat. I just love Encanto's songs. The part when Mirabel sings to Isabel about her being perfect her whole life - and her voice changes from doleful to joy and happiness for her sister? MMMMHMMMM 👌TEARS ME UP.
Currently watching: Not... anything really. I haven't been reading novels or watching TV shows or movies lately. Gosh, school is so consuming, especially with the extracurriculars I've taken up.
But I remember watching Danny Phantom last. I got DVDs from the library and was watching it in our old laptop which had a DVD player. They dont make laptops like those anymore. And we dont have a DVD player for the TV. And that laptop broke. So idk where else to watch Danny Phantom :(
Currently reading: As i said, not really reading many novels atm. I'm reading fanfic! The last fanfic I read was mine XD More specifically Let Them Be Siblings. I wanted to check out how far along the series I was and then got sucked.
But the other last fanfic i read was... I'm Just a Kid (I Know That It's Not Fair) by StoriesAreMagic cuz they updated <3
The last novel I read? ...I can't recall. It was that long ago- NO WAIT! I picked up some novels from the library for my sisters and I sometimes read my sister's books. There's this one series I especially like. It's called 'Phoebe and her Unicorn', and it is good, I tell you. Very good. The jokes aren't like kid jokes. They speak something deeper.
Current obsession: So many. Idk. Tim Drake? DC?

A day to remember
Pairing: Eddie Guerrero x Fem reader x Rey Mysterio
Description: After finding out life changing news, you tell the boys and the three of you celebrate with something for all three of you to share
Gif credits to @jasffy
Tumblr media
You smile sharing a hug with Konnan as you walk in the locker room the boys shared, smiling bigger when you hear a familiar voice "Mi amour what are you doing here?!" you giggle while in a hug with Eddie sharing a kiss as Rey sees you. "Bebe we didn't know you were gonna be here!" you laugh again sharing another hug and kiss with him before celebrating their win with the rest of the boys shaking your head when Billy offered you champagne locking eyes with him and a confused konnan only winking with a small smile before putting your finger over your lips mouthing baby to them which makes their eyes wide as dinner plates before quickly composing themselves as everyone gathered around "I have some news everyone and honestly it really is a surprise...I'm pregnant" everyone cheers and loses their minds mainly your partners with eddie leaning against the wall wide eyed and rey tearing up before jumping in joy kissing you sweetly and holding you before eddie joined in celebrating for another hour before the three of you head home "God I can't believe we're all gonna be parents" the boys shower before you all ate lunch talking about wanting to do something to remember the day by that wasn't just pictures or videos "Why not tattoos?" they look at you before smiles appear on their faces. All of you had tattoos rey having the most with you behind him, the three of you head to an artist rey got most of his tattoos done by who was a real nice guy named Rusty who grew to be a close friend to the three of you and the boys, the three of you decided to get matching hearts on your chest over your hearts with the date of when you all found out about the child you were having together tearing up as you all look in the mirror and take pictures and years later you and rey get teary eyed when telling Dominik about the day the three of you found out about him and becoming parents showing him the pictures of when you told them and getting the tattoos that symbolized the joy of becoming parents.

Wow, now that's a list!
Sorry for replying so late and thank you for the effort of putting this together. We'll screen the celebs on here and check out if there is enough good and inspiring material of them in order to make some captions. Safe to say that we won't get around to include ALL of them, obviously.
Question: What is the turn-on for you guys about dominant celebrity women and their feet? Is it the thought of them "enslaving" you? Or do you just like the look of the celeb-woman and imagine yourself with a "version" of her in your life? :)

So much happened yesterday and today that I need to process it via word vomit here…so:
Yesterday, I met Vickie Guerrero, something I’ve wanted to do since childhood. I also got to meet Wardlow and Aubrey plus a whole bunch of other supercool talent.
At the event where I met the AEW superstars we did a promo contest. I came in second (got beat by a pretty adorable 4th grader so I’ll gladly take my silver trophy) and every single one of the superstar’s complimented me and it literally was so freaking cool — I’m pretty sure Britt Baker has a video of me calling Chris Jericho out on her phone now —but it was awesome.
I can also say with complete confidence that Eddie Kingston is now the only man that’ll allow to call me sweetheart. Today, I met him & Ortiz as well as Ethan Page and I have nothing but nice and amazing things to say about them.
Eddie & Ortiz were so kind, so sweet — Eddie complimented my shirt (it was his one with Mox, the “talk hard, hit harder” one) called me sweetheart and basically shot shit until they had to leave. Super kind. 13/10 would meet again!
Ethan Page was a total sweetheart too! We spoke for quite a while and also he showed me a picture of his whole family in costume (that he didn’t post) and it was the cutest!
Mox and His Lordship walked right by me and Mox climbed into our section before he murdered Lee. I got to again, achieve something I’ve wanted since I knew Mox wrestled - be apart of the crowd as he walked through it.
I really hope this doesn’t sound braggy, I really don’t mean for it to be. I just need to get this out before I explode of joy and I figured there’d be no better way than to do it with people that understand.

Please remember that I only post people when I have new images of them, so there are some girls who I like a lot but haven't been able to post as often as I would have liked to. And some haven't been on the list for as many years as others. But if I've posted someone like thirty times or whatever it's fair to say they're one of my favourites! So here it is, the big list of everyone I've posted five times or more. (I left Elliot Page on because I posted him a lot back in the day and didn't want to pretend otherwise.)

Naia & Sabrina for @rainymoodlet‘s @kissmeinkomorebi
Naia Guerrero Age: 25 (YA) Aspiration: Beach Life Traits: Cheerful, Creative, Child of the Ocean Height: 5′ 6″ Role: Crew - Makeup Artist (Outsider)
Sabrina Bishop Age: 35 (Adult) Aspiration: Inner Peace Traits: Dance Machine, Creative, Self-Assured Height: 5′ 8″ Role: Contestant
[bio’s under the cut]
Nia Guerrero;
Born in Sulani but a self proclaimed woman of the world. Growing up, she attended more schools and lived in more places that one is able to count with both hands. Daughter of Lieutenant General Samuel Guerrero, her family moved around as much as his job demanded. Kids loved throwing the words "army brat" around but she, even at such a young age, didn't care. Windenburg, Oasis Springs, Granite Falls — she's seen it all. Naia never minded the constant changes, sure leaving her friends behind every few months was tough but as she became older and more used to it, the traveling became thrilling.
A hopeless romantic, child at heart all around cheerful person that wears her heart on her sleeve is what Naia's close friends would describe her as. A believer of love at first sight and soulmates, she's had awful luck in the dating department but never loses hope to one day find "the one". As long as their horoscopes match up, of course.
Currently, an up an coming make-up artist residing in Sulani, Naia dreams of making it big in Del Sol Valley. Years of hard work seem to finally be paying off as she is very close to hitting 2M subscribers on her youtube beauty channel. A job offer as a crew member in a dating show is exactly the big break Naia was hoping for — she was thrilled to get the offer, not so much about the location as she'd rather be at the beach in a bikini. But her father didn't raise a quitter, her winter wardrobe just got a whole new makeover, her makeup brushes have been thoroughly cleaned and she is a woman on a mission.
Sabrina Bishop;
Dancing was all Sabrina lived and breathed for the last thirty-five years of her life. Making it as prima ballerina at age of seventeen, Winderburg's youngest principal ballet dancer — her mother's pride and joy. The world was at her feet, but it wasn't given, she worked hard. Harder than anyone else to achieve it, and so as she became older watching younger girls thrive was a bitter pill to swallow. Witnessing as she was sidelined and only featured in productions no one cared about any longer, her career withered just like her youth. It was inevitable, getting older was part of life and she had picked a profession that fed off the effortless of beauty and youth. Opening up her own studio wasn't her idea, but she followed her manager's advice and found a new passion in shaping up little ones.
With such a hectic schedule, there was no time for love in Sabrina's life. Sure there had been one or two lovers once upon a time, but she had no time for distractions. Perfection had no time off — and she focused solely on being the best. The rest didn't matter. It was a surprise to hear that she had been picked for some sort of reality dating show she had certainly not signed up for. After a quick internet search, she learned about Kiss me in Komorebi and the bachelor that would be participating in it. He looked familiar at first, and surely the internet took care of filling in the gaps. Sabrina wasn't sure if it was his sad smile or that mysterious look in his eyes but she felt her mind changing about this whole thing. Sure, she was still very upset at her friend Mariah for signing her up without her permission first, but for the first time in her life she felt excitement about something other than dancing.

“Hey, look at me…” + “Do you trust me?” with Eddie and Rey?
The miracle
Pairing: Rey Mysterio x Fem reader x Eddie Guerrero
Description: You get badly hurt and trapped leading Eddie to go for help while Rey does everything to keep you with them
Tumblr media
Everything became blurry as you began to slip into darkness with your hand holding onto Rey's tightly as he slept for the first time in the last few long hours. The three of you were enjoying the day of vacation on a small island hiking around before making your way back to the beach where you were all dropped off by ferry enjoying the first night eating and joking waking up and getting back into the flow of hiking and exploring until it got late deciding to make camp next to a creek instead of heading back to the beach in the dark but this decision will come back to haunt all three of you in the next couple of hours after waking up slowly making your way across the riverbed using the bathroom before climbing back up until you hear a creak and a huge roar falling from where you stood hearing a crack and falling until you landed in a small hole in between big rocks screaming in pain. The boys shoot awake running until they find you trying to pull you out but you were stuck tightly barely able to move and the pain only made it worse as they tried to get you out with no luck feeling tears flow down your face as the sun comes up "We gotta get you help mi vida" you burst into sobs begging them not to leave you until rey grabs and holds your hand "I'm not leaving you bebe eddie's gonna go get help I'm here I promise" more cries leave you as eddie hugs rey placing a kiss on your hand "Hey, look at me" you look up at rey as eddie squeezed your hand "Do you trust me?" you nod kissing eddie's hand before he leaves feeling your heart being ripped out of you once you didn't hear his footsteps anymore holding rey's hand tightly as he caressed your face always calling for rey whenever it got to quiet staying wide awake from the fear and adrenaline flowing through you while eddie runs nonstop feeling his energy and will seep out of him as the next 20 hours pass finally falling to his knees in the water wondering what the hell he was even doing anymore and yelling to God until he wipes mud off his arm seeing the tattoo that the three of you all had together a year into your relationship feeling his heart drop knowing he wouldn't forgive himself for losing you. He stands up with new determination and will running until he made to the beach crying and throwing up yelling frantically feeling a bit of relief at the rescue teams coming in while rey wakes up noticing how quiet you were feeling his heart drop "Baby, wake up mi amor...please God no" he cries and shakes your arm frantically begging you to wake up looking up at the sky screaming when he sees the helicopter not knowing that eddie was in it crying that they had found the two of you waiting anxiously on the beach as they spent the next three hours getting you out crying with joy and fear seeing the helicopter fly you off the island collapsing while holding rey before being taken off the island by ferry going straight to the hospital where you were at both of them quietly sobbing by your bedside seeing your frail badly injured body covered with bandages, stitches, and an IV hooked to your hand whispering for you to fight and wake up "We love you, you gotta fight don't give up we know you're still there". The next two days were hell as they stayed awake holding your hands not noticing you slowly opening your eyes in the dimly lit room to rey caressing your face while he cried pressing a kiss to your forehead and eddie quietly shaking with sobs holding your hand squeezing his hand and rey's arm making them stop laughing and crying seeing you awake hearing the doctor say it was miracle that you were alive after what happened laughing after thr doctor leaves shaking head pressing kisses to both their knuckles "The miracle that kept me going was you two" more tears flow in between soft kisses and I love you's until all of you were finally home healing from your cracked pelvis and injured ribs before wrestling with the love of your lives again.

Giant of Light Playlists
Tumblr media
Inspired by some posts I saw, I put together a playlist of music for the GoL experience. Then I split it in two, because of the duality built into the game. They might not be perfect for background music, since they're a bit lyric heavy in a way that might distract from the table, but there are some connections I'm happy with. Also, they work on shuffle, but the order is intended to make a rough sketch of an Episode of play from either perspective. They're on Spotify:
Side A: Heroes
Side B: Kaiju
And of course you can buy the game here.
If you don't use Spotify (I don't blame you), there's a track listing below, along with commentary, because I love to explain myself.
Side A: Heroes
-Goshowa Kudasai Ware no Na wo! (Endo Masaki)
This is the opening theme to Ultraman Z. Obviously, I was going to include some music from the franchise, but I didn't want it to be the whole playlist. I chose this one because the title and opening line translates to "I ask that you chant my name," which is a wonderful bit of poetry asking for faith.
-The Legend of Chavo Guerrero (The Mountain Goats)
This is about that faith from the other side, a song about having a hero. "The telecast's in Spanish, I can understand some / and I need justice in my life, here it comes," devastates me every time.
-Starman (David Bowie)
Maybe a bit obvious, but all the same, Ultraman is full of visitors from space whose differences from humanity leave them alienated, but still capable of seeing the beauty and value of the Earth.
-Hands (Oishi Masayoshi)
Theme to Ultraman R/B and my personal favorite theme in the whole franchise. The leads in this series have no experience or training and are thrown into the deep end and I like the way this track reflects the drive to stay positive. "These are the things we shouldn't have to protect."
-Pump it Up (Elvis Costello and the Attractions)
This represents the rising tension in the "Episode" happening here. The thumping, elegant bass line and lyrics about matching intensity always begged for an action scene in my mind.
-Brave Love, TIGA (Kagaku Tokusoutai, not the original version, this is a group that does covers of tokusatsu songs)
This is the ending theme to Ultraman Tiga and it's a bit of a parallel to Legend of Chavo Guerrero, since it's a plea to the title character. It's a child, asking their hero, please, do the things I can't. Protect the world. Show me how to be brave.
-X Gon' Give It To Ya (DMX)
Am I guilty of coming to the same conclusion as the writers of the Deadpool movie? Yes. But as a Millennial, I defy you to find a track that more powerfully says that shit is about to go down.
-Veridis Quo (Daft Punk)
Something wholly without lyrics to depict the final fight. I've always thought that the melody of this song implied a situation that's rapidly becoming more complicated.
-Dare (Stan Bush)
Come the man, cometh the hour, this is the personal theme of Hot Rod from The Transformers: The Movie (1986). Hot Rod is the chosen one, even if he doesn't know it until the end, but his theme is all about being brave enough to become the person needed. Also, the sample character Ultraman Giant Hero Cadmium is a direct reference to Hot Rod, including the piece of character art he's in.
-Gimme! Gimme! Gimme! (A Man After Midnight) (ABBA)
I think the transition from the last track to this one is the best thing I do in either playlist. Again, this is a song about who you want around when things get bad. Also feels final, like the fight can be won here.
-BRAND NEW WORLD (Miura Jam BR)
This is the opening theme to my favorite arc of One Piece (Enies Lobby), but that's incidental. Here, the track represents the "new world" created by the Main Characters in saving the day, and the moment of joy together after it happens.
-Ultraman 80 (Kagaku Tokusoutai, again a cover)
"He came to us from the stars." Nothing more than a moment of gratitude for this immense power that joins together with us to protect our world. Ultraman gets a bit religious (by design, the life of the original creator Tsuburaya Eiji was often defined by faith). Also a relaxing end to represent the "end credits."
Side B- Kaiju
-Trigger (Sakuma Takao)
This side's less optimistic, more conflicted, but I still wanted to open with a theme, this time from Ultraman Trigger. It's a bit more aggressive, all about letting loose. Doesn't connect to that show much, but it's exactly what's happening here.
-When You're Evil (Aurelio Voltaire)
Being self-consciously "evil" is mostly the provenance of teenagers, but there's a sort of immaturity to a lot of the Kaiju Users I took inspiration from when writing the game. There's a certain kind of person who says to themself "no, I'm bad, really, I'm dangerous, watch out!"
-Wolf Like Me (TV on the Radio)
Another approach to playing a Kaiju User is to have werewolf vibes: "this is something inside me and when I let it out, you should run." This is a good song to depict prowling around town, looking for trouble.
-Life on Mars? (David Bowie)
An intentional parallel to Side A, another Bowie track using aliens as a metaphor for alienation. This one's a bit grittier, more critical of society, and more explicitly Queer, which is why it's on this side.
-Werewolf Gimmick (The Mountain Goats)
Like I said, this vibe is strong. The theme of performance (and taking that performance too far) is also a good link to the way a Kaiju User might play with their public image.
-V: The Stand (Man or Machine) (The Protomen)
This song ruled my college years. With a fight imminent, two people who would rather not fight argue, proving why they have to. In your games, the primary Kaiju User can even be either side of the fight, depending on how you've built things up.
-It Has To Be This Way - Platinum Mix (Jimmy Gnecco)
Meme music it may be, but this is great for being the next phase of that argument as the fists start flying. It's only from one perspective, which is fun, because the speaker might be completely off-base about the similarities between the two fighters (which is the case in the game it's written for, a lot of the memes and such overlook that).
-Foreign Object (The Mountain Goats)
Kaiju Users are often at a disadvantage, and this song really captures the spirit of fighting uphill because you're meaner and even if you can't win, you'll make your opponent regret it.
-KARATE (BABYMETAL)
This is the song for the main fight here, picked mostly for sheer kinetic energy. BABYMETAL's trademark pop idol/heavy metal contrast here is the symbol for the fact that a lot of Kaiju may be city-destroying beasts, but people on the internet will still look at them and say "what a good dog!"
-Light Up The Night (The Protomen)
Sometimes, winning means being willing to burn yourself up.
-Hero (The Verve Pipe)
The mirror spot to When You're Evil for a reason. This is the truth at the core of that facade, that underneath the way they scorn humanity and embrace their outcast status with mischief, they really long to be accepted. And something that GoL tries to say is that you can be, even if your powers are scary and destructive, you can still be a hero, no matter what your self-loathing says.
-ZERO to INFINITY (Miyano Mamoru)
Another track from the franchise, this is the theme to the web series Ultra Galaxy Fight: The Absolute Conspiracy, which is mostly a big crossover punch-em-up. But here, I like the optimism of saying you can get to the end of your path as long as you keep pushing, which can be applied to Kaiju Users of many different moral orientations.
Whew! So I started out trying to not repeat artists at all, let alone on the same playlist, but it couldn't be helped, Beat The Champ by The Mountain Goats is the best album about wrestling ever (not a high bar, mind, but it's very good), and the parallels between pro wrestling and tokusatsu are very deep. Anyway, have fun, let me know your thoughts on the listening experience, and play the game!
