Some good Phantom moments from 2022:
Phantom anniversaries! Broadway’s 34th anniversary also marked Emilie Kouatchou’s first official principal Christine show (which also made her the first black principal Christine on Broadway).
Sydney Harbour! The first outdoor production of Phantom, complete with a chariot, fire, and ‘Point of No Return’ in the rain.
Unofficial photos! Melanie Gowie (London Phantom dresser and former Carlotta) and Greg Mills (Broadway swing) continue to stun with their unofficial backstage/onstage photos.
Live performances! Probably the biggest one was at the Queen’s Jubilee.
Raoul’s, Raoul’s, and more Raoul’s! While John Riddle killed it in Titanique, Jordan Donica, Paul Schaefer, and Jason Forbach all took turns as principal Raoul. Jordan’s return also marked the first time more than one black actor was in the trio at the same time on Broadway.
Restaged Tour! After being put off for a year, the Australian Restaged Tour finally opened featuring former London cast members Josh Piterman, Amy Manford, and Bridget Costello.
Non-replicas! Several non-replicas had performances this year, including Hungary. Budapest also had (or eventually will have) their first big cast change since the production opened over 20 years ago.
Korean production! Cast was officially announced for Phantom’s return to Korea.
Chinese production! The first production to actually be performed in Mandarin.
Diversity, Role Swaps, AND New Productions! Besides seeing some real progress in diverse casting across the board, there were also tons of former cast members that returned to various productions (mos tof the time due to Covid cases). Australia saw Josh Robson (Sydney Harbour Phantom) as Raoul and Claire Lyon (former World Tour Christine) show up in Melbourne. They both had to re-learn the show as it’s different staging and did so in less than two days.

What songs did you listen to while writing ROA?
Thanks for waiting so long for a reply. I typed out a huge playlist and then tumblr ate the post and I got very angry and had to leave it alone for a bit.
I was listening to The Jezabels’ album Prisoner on repeat at the time, and a healthy dose of their EP Cherry Pie too. If I could pick just five songs which really wrote Running on Air for me, they would all be from The Jezabels: Long Highway, Endless Summer, Deep Wide Ocean, City Girl, and Catch Me.
I got my old laptop up and running again so I could check my old playlists, and this one is from around the time I was writing Running on Air:
Song — Artist
Ages, Places — Wildlife Control
All I Know — Washed Out
All Eyes On You — St Lucia
An Ending (Ascent) — Brian Eno
Away We Go — Silver Firs
Breakers — Gem Club
Change of Time — Josh Ritter
Clair de Lune — Flight Facilities
Conductor — We Were Promised Jetpacks
Coward — Hayden Calnin
Daylight Hours — Infusion
Deserters — Rachel Zeffira
Duet — Everything Everything
Dust — Little May
Embrace — Pnau
Epilogue — The Shape of the Earth
Fall At Your Feet — Boy & Bear
Flashed Junk Mind — Milky Chance
Goodbye Serenade — The Rebel Light
Hey Now — London Grammar
Homage — Feist & Timbre Timbre
Honey (Sam La More Remix)— Lovers Electric
I Will Wait For You — Lowing
Idea for Strings — Gem Club
Into the Thicket — U.S. Royalty
Invisible — Infusion
Lullaby — Dark Mean
Marathon (In Roses) — Gem Club
Old Pine — Ben Howard
On the Nature of Daylight — Max Richter
Outro — M83
Particles — Josh Pyke
Piano & Beat — Dark Mean
Pink Rabbits — The National
Plans — Birds of Tokyo
Quiet — This Will Destroy You
Staring at the Ceiling — Arrange
Sun Showers — Arrange
The Last Day on Earth — Kate Miller-Heidke
The Miles and the Hours — Benjamin Morsberger
The Summer — Josh Pyke
The Way You Remember Me — St Lucia
They Don’t Know — White Sea
Torrent — Ásgeir
Trembling Hands — Temper Trap
We Own the Sky — M83
Wide Eyed, Legless — Laura Veirs
Waves — Magic Man
Note: I’ve done a few playlists for RoA and I know my music taste is all over the place. Most people skip the electro-rock and drum-and-bass tracks I add — I guess people don’t associate synth-pop and electro-rock with Running on Air. But if you give these songs a go, you’ll see a lot of inspiration in the lyrics. ‘Honey’ has the lyric, “We can’t accept what we do not get to choose.” And EDM song Embrace begins with, “On a night like tonight, you saved my life.” Experimental electronica song Daylight Hours has amazing lyrics: “This is the third trip in the back of your car, filled with memories flashing by like liquid sky, like electric stars that define everything we are…I’m trying too hard, I’ve gone too far, now everything keeps shifting in and out of time.” Lots of RoA inspiration!

Young People Who Suffered Blood Clots and Amputations After COVID-19 Vaccination Are Being Lied to, and Media Uses Them to Lie to Us
By Dr. William Makis
There is a heartbreaking, tragic story that is promoted by mainstream media every few months, and that is the story of 20 year old Florida model Claire Bridges who lost both legs due to what they tell us was “COVID-19”.
Published on Mar.5, 2023, CNN’s article reads: “She flatlined three times, lost both legs and had a failing heart. Yet she told doctors she’s ‘the luckiest person on this planet’.” (click here)
“In January 2022, Bridges was a 20-year-old model with her own apartment and a part-time job as a bartender in St. Petersburg, Florida. She was a vegan and “exceptionally healthy,” according to her mother.”
“When she caught Covid-19 that month, no one expected her to be hospitalized. She was fully vaccinated and boosted.”
But Bridges had been born with a common genetic heart defectwhether due to her heart or another unknown reason, COVID-19 hit Bridges hard.
“Extreme fatigue, cold sweats — progressively every single day it would get harder to try to eat or drink anything,” she recalled. “Then one day my mom found me unresponsive and rushed me to the hospital. I flatlined three times that night.”
“Diagnosed with myocarditis, rhabdomyolysis, mild pneumonia, cyanosis and acidosis – Claire was placed on dialysis to help her failing kidneys. The damage to her body, however, resulted in poor circulation to her lower limbs, leading to amputation.” (click here)
Beyond the CNN propaganda…
It’s important to cut through the thick CNN propaganda and BS.
We have a perfectly healthy 20 year old young woman who took 3 COVID-19 vaccines she didn’t need, which probably severely damaged her immune system, caused myocarditis, blood clots and other internal organ damage, and when she fell ill with a flu or other respiratory illness, her already vaccine-injured body fell apart, her post-vaccine myocarditis put her into three cardiac arrests, she developed blood clots and her ordeal resulted in both of her legs requiring amputation.
In other words, this is a story of COVID-19 vaccine injury, from beginning to end.
How many unvaccinated 20 year olds had their legs amputated after catching COVID-19? If COVID-19 jabs were protective against hospitalization and 3 jabs failed to protect Claire, there should be thousands of unvaccinated 20 year olds with amputations due to COVID-19, who had no “protection” from COVID-19 vaccines.
THERE ARE NONE. If there were, the media would have eagerly told us. COVID-19 doesn’t do this to healthy 20-year olds, but COVID-19 vaccines do. CNN doesn’t tell us which 3 COVID-19 jabs she had. AstraZeneca and J&J were pulled off the market due to blood clots. Both Pfizer and Moderna have caused 1000s of cases of blood clots. These cases are in VAERS, Eudravigilance, and everywhere you look on social media:
All COVID-19 vaccines cause blood clots
Shortly after the rollout of COVID-19 vaccines, 1000s of blood clot related injuries were being reported in VAERS, Eudravigilance, and UK Yellow Card. This was a report of blood clot related events as of May 14, 2021 by Josh Guetzkow:
Denials by Pharmaceutical representatives…
Fraudulent Reuters “Fact Checks”…
The fact that Claire Bridges case has a Reuters “Fact Check” is a big red flag. I have extensive experience with Reuters, I spoke with several of their reporters and they deliberately released several completely fraudulent fact checks about my work exposing the dangers of COVID-19 mRNA vaccines.
My Take…
Claire has gone through an absolute nightmare. It is very probable that she is a victim of COVID-19 vaccine injuries, and not COVID-19. There are thousands of victims just like her. AstraZeneca and J&J were pulled off the market due to blood clots but Pfizer & Moderna also cause blood clots and to a very similar degree.
To this day, Pfizer and Moderna deny that their COVID-19 mRNA vaccines cause blood clots, and their victims are being ignored by doctors.
Any mainstream media story that blames blood clots on COVID-19 instead of COVID-19 vaccines is abusing vaccine injury victims and blatantly lying to the rest of us. Considering this is CNN, this is not surprising in the least.
When it comes to mainstream media and COVID-19 topics, the truth is almost always the exact opposite of what they report. The fact that they give so much exposure to Claire’s story, shows how desperately they are trying to deflect our attention from the ugly truth.
Re-watch the video above, this time in the context of a COVID-19 vaccine injured victim. It feels completely different, because the pharmaceutical companies knew from the very beginning, that their products were causing these injuries. They just didn’t care and neither did any doctor or politician who pushed the vaccines.

Episode 2.10 Gray Matters, noting Joshua Jackson's performance especially in this episode. When Peter is unusually agitated and frantic, he picks up on Walter mannerisms, in body language and hand movements, and Josh Jackson does that so subtly and so well it's already happening before you can register it. And now I'm looking at John Noble and thinking maybe Walter has some Peter mannerisms. The bond between Peter and Walter is so strong and yet Peter doesn't often call Walter "dad" -- he does refer to him as "my father" but he most often directly addresses him as "Walter," and it makes sense, Walter was absent most of Peter's life. And it was Peter's choice to not visit Walter at St. Claire's too. Also Anna Torv being master of the subtle micro-expressions. When Peter and Olivia are terrified that Walter's dead, Peter's openly emoting, and Olivia's face goes blank, you actually can see the moment Olivia has to shut it all down and is actively holding herself together so she doesn't fall apart. And then when Walter's okay, she goes from that flat crisis face to brushing away tears.
This ep is so tragic because of the parts of himself Walter has lost, but Walter from before is not the same Walter and as Olivia points out, from what she knows of Walter before, he is a gentler better person now. But Walter before still had the big heart at his center or he wouldn't have done what he did and we know from Peter's stories or small info drops of information about his childhood, Walter was very involved in his son's life. Walter before was more of an asshole and he was harder, but he wasn't a monster and he did love strongly.
John Noble's performance and the layers and layers on Walter Bishop--he's one of the most compelling characters in genre tv.

Yo! So I've been checking up on my guy Zach Woods to see if he's been brilliant in anything lately so that I could watch and admire him, and noticed he's in a show called Avenue 5. So I looked it up and found out it's a sci-fi comedy show written by Armando Iannucci and Hugh Laurie plays the lead, and thought 'hey, meerkats lady (idk if saying your name is alright) likes these guys'. I watched the trailer and didn't think much honestly but I'll put it here for you to see if you haven't. I bet Zach Woods is doing great work. Also Hugh Laurie with a beard.
https://youtu.be/w8Zr3f-_Ft8
That's great that you discovered that, because you're giving me an opportunity to share this show! I first watched it early last year I think, and since then it's become one of those shows where I'll re-watch bits of episodes somewhat often. At the moment they're working on season 2, which I'm looking forward to.
Avenue 5 is a good show, I definitely recommend it to someone who enjoys the work of the many famous people involved. Hugh Laurie, Zach Woods, Rebecca Front, Jessica St. Clair, Josh Gad, that guy who played David Wallace on The Office. Daisy May Cooper has a recurring role that's really entertaining. It's sort of what Armando Iannucci decided to do once he had the cred in America that he got from Veep, and could make a new thing with a bunch of money and famous people.
It's not as good as some of the other things Armando Iannucci has made, but only because pretty much nothing is as good as those things. I feel like it has a huge amount of potential, though. I can see where they're going with a few different threads and I think if they had time they could make it something really great. Unfortunately they're saying it'll likely end after season 2, so I don't know if that'll happen. But anyway, season 1 is still quite entertaining. There's a lot going on, and the more I watch it, the more I find new appreciation for how hilarious different bits of it are. Himesh Patel, a guy whom I think is well known for EastEnders but I know him for that Beatles movie I hated and for the fact that he was born on the exact same day of the same year as I was, plays a minor character who entertains me more every time I see it.
Sometimes, I think half the reason this show was created is to show off how perfectly Hugh Laurie can switch between English and American accents. And that can sort of work as a metaphor for the whole show, actually. It takes elements of Armando Iannucci's classic sharpness and bleakness, and put them in a show with a much brighter and more American feel. It's a weird contrast at times, but it's cool. And again, I feel like they could do more with that contrast if given more time.
All nine episodes of season 1 are on the big Google Drive that I set up a year and a half ago to store a bunch of my Britcom collection. Here are the Avenue 5 episodes, and in case anyone reading this hasn't seen me share that folder before, he's a link to the entire folder that contains my Britcom videos. I had to pay some money to store so much data in one account, but that one's paid up until February 2023 so feel free to stream/download if anyoneo wants those files.
(Edit: I just looked through that Google Drive for the first time in a while, and realized it’s a bit confusing that all Alan Partridge things, including the Alan Partridge shows that happened without Iannucci’s input, and On The Hour and The Day Today, which aren’t really thought of as Alan Partridge shows and are just shows in which he was a character, are in the Alan Partridge sub-folder of the larger Armando Iannucci folder. There’s probably a better way I could organize that whole collection, maybe I’ll try to figure that out. Anyway, there’s good stuff in there.)
