Head full of nothing but Trish x witch reader. Like the reader is really into tarot cards (her stand could also tie into it) and gives her girlfriend readings, making her protection jars, teaching her about crystals, teaching Trish how to manifest things easily ect. AND FOR CERTAIN TRISH WOULD LOVE GLAMOUR MAGIC

Yaaaaas. Admittedly I’m not as much in practice as I’d like to be, so reader is more casual brujerias.

I’d love to say she’s supportive off the bat, but this is spoiled Trish Una after all…

Ok but, let’s be honest and approach Miss “I only drink French Mineral Water” Una with the lenses that at first she thinks witchcraft is complete bullshit.

She would probably call you a weirdo for lighting incense or cleansing anything with moon water.

Tells you to stop sprinkling salt because it’s messing up the floor.

Also gets annoyed when you do random tarot pulls at the start of every week.

However, as my former Catholic friend from Italy and I discussed, Catholics will talk so much shit about witchcraft yet they still hit up that one vieja in the side alley for any kind of remedios.

Trish is no exception to that rule because she deadass secretly thinks you’re going to hex her after she laughed at your crystal collection.

One time she also saw you burning a bay leaf with someone’s name on it, a mutual acquaintance that had been acting like an asshole. Said person ended up having the shittiest month of their lives.

You explained to her that you’ve been doing these rituals for a while and noticed hey, they actually work, so you keep it up.

Yours is a more casual approach, your book of shadows is more a scrap book page in an old diary that looks like a grocery list.

Some shit works, some doesn’t. You prefer to keep whole specimens of crystals around the house.

You explained to Trish the various crystals you had and the cultural significance of each based on extensive research.

You also give her things and she’s very touched. Because she’s a romantic, she often begins choosing jewelry that has rose quartz in it.

“I asked my rose quartz to find me someone who would love me as much as I love them, and I found you. My pink haired sweetie pie.~”

Ok, now she is obsessed with rose quartz.

Absolutely cherishes anything you give her. Especially loving the extra attention when you tell her things like “I made sure to light a candle for your show honey, best wishes!” Or when you give her one of your crystals to take on tour.

You even started carving sigils of protection in her compacts, and she swears she can feel the good intentions when she puts on her blush or highlighter.

TW: Mentions of surgery, guns death, blood, medical procedures

Arriving at the hospital, Melone walks into his place of employment, waving at all his coworkers. He punches in his number quickly, and puts his his belonging in a locker, locking it tight. He doesn’t want his items stolen, causing an emergency for himself.

“Code blue, I repeat, we have a code blue!” The loudspeaker rang out for all to hear. A gunshot wound, a patient with severe dehydration, and now a code blue. It’s only been a few hours since he got there. A typical day for Melone in his profession. Since he was a child, he knew he wanted to do something with anatomy and physiology. The day that he was instructed to dissect something at school cemented this. All the other children were terrified, grossed out or even disturbed. Not him, as he was overcome with a sense of curiosity and fascination.

Rushing over to the area with the patient, his heels clicking against the floor. People are coming at him from all directions, carrying food, water and medication. “Excuse me! Sorry! I need to get to the patient!” Arriving at the patient, he stood over them, pulled up his mask and began chest compressions, looking up at the EKG. After about 30 seconds, he senses a pulse, and the beeping of the machine. A deep sense of relief has enveloped him; he had just saved another patient.

Now he can help with other patients. Some patients will need splints for broken bones, some will need IVs, and some will need medication. There’s going to be a difficult patient, there always is. There have been patients that have spit, cussed and refused IVs and blood.

He ought to have one patient that was agreeable, and actually listened to his care instructions. Nevertheless, he can’t be too upset; some patients come in delirious or extremely frightened. It’s normal that they’re being hostile, as they are in a place that is unfamiliar to them, and they don’t know whether the treatment is going to hurt or help.

After this, the hospital cements it’s status as a backbreaker. Working at the hospital is exhausting. His feet ache, and after more time, his knees will begin to wobble. He has been at the hospital since 6 pm. The beginning of the graveyard shift. The time when they have the most patients, and the most severe cases. He often worked the night shifts, and while it is often quiet at the later hours, it really messes with his sleep schedule, and what time he usually has dinner.

Speaking of dinner, he hears a ding come from his watch; it’s time for his break. He takes pleasure in the little things, like jabbing holes in the plastic cover to let air in before he microwaves the food. It’s the closest thing to a dissection he can get anymore, and even if the food is a bit unhealthy it at least gets him through the night.

The hospital had slowly become quiet, the only sounds that could be heard is the ticking of the clock and the footsteps of doctors and nurses. As soon as that thought entered his head, a patient is rushed in.

Taking a look at the victim, he knows that the time has come. Finally he can do some work that’s at least a little similar to dissection. The victim was a male in his 30s, with another gunshot wound close to a major artery.

Surgery is immediate, as he begins to gown up and scrub down. The surgeon who was there earlier for the other gunshot wound had gone home, so it was up to him to tackle this procedure. One wrong step and it could all go wrong.

The night was only going to get longer, but Melone could care less.
