📞 anon's thoughts on the potions lead me down a little train of thought, cause yes the thing with the everyone scrambling to get stuff for healing potions but tango was the one who found out and told everyone about it? that plus his being picked to join the quest for his objectiveness (that combines with his other technical thinky smart person skills) so being more distant emotionally but not really because jimmy so (if grian did successfully go through with it) i'd imagine he'd feel like he should carry the most guilt because he didn't think about it more and probably wouldn't be able to look jimmy in the eye and like.... i figure he'd feel like he brought a gun to the party and all grian had to do was load it and fire

GODS Tango's position sure is a funny one, huh? Its less that he was picked for objectivity and more that he volunteered, partially out of his own desire to see Grian, and partially for Jimmy's sake (Jimmy has been. VERY worried).... but you're not wrong, he does have a little bit more of an emotionally distant outlook here, at least compared to the others!! Like even Xisuma has some high emotional stakes in this due to his role in being the person who "pushed the button," so to speak, on kicking Grian from Hermitcraft-- something which i am frankly REALLY looking forward to touching on tbh >:] ohhh Xisuma buddy..... ohhhh your guilt..

But yeah Tango is.... gonna feel Some Type Of Way about the potions once he finds out. I've got some pretty specific ideas on how he handles it, but the guilt is gonna be crazy. The fridge horror?? Even crazier. Is there anything more harrowing than desperately trying to help a dear friend and finding out all you did was give them the tools to hurt themself further???

The fallout is gonna be buckwild tbh

"We don't celebrate Christmas actually! We have a week long thing on the last week of December celebrating the winter. Usually, it'd be a whole party, but since it's just two of us, we take it as a time to relax. It's called Solstice! Though, for the last few years I haven't really been celebrating since I'm alone. Hm, there's this thing with winter elves where you tend to decorate your tail, usually with gold. It's a flex thing most of the time, but it also makes you feel pretty. There's a lot of cultural things with winter elves that have just... died out, mostly thanks to modernization, but Cory and I tended to research them. Not to do them per se, but to learn about them." "We don't have any avian specific family traditions- just family traditions, if that makes sense? For example, we're very hoardy- especially about memoirs. okay SO it's a romcom, technically, and it's rather silly but i also love it sm. Jimmy is dating this guy, Tango, and it's going really well, only the problem is... every time he goes on a date he doesn't remember after going back to his or Tango's place. He thinks he's just not remembering them like. doing stuff. but actually Tango (vampire) just drinks Jimmy's blood and makes him forget about it afterwards. Jimmy's always too embarrassed to bring it up to Tango

I have like. 2 or 3 snippets of it written rn but I'm currently working on a werewolf tommy fic, if everything goes well I'm hoping to post both on halloween!!!

1. When you first met, what were your first impressions of each other? Did they start off positive right away or were they negative? Did your impression of each other change over time? If so, what made them change?

So Elita works at a library and while putting some books away, she runs into Jimmy. Who's looking at a book on law NOTORIOUS for being poorly written. She of course tells him.

"Hey that's a- really bad book."

"You read it before?"

"Well.... yeah. It's hot garbage. I can show you better ones Mister--"

"James McGill. You can call me Jimmy."

After that it's history. A good enough impression that makes him come back enough times for them to become friends.

3. Who confessed first? What drove them to do it? Did you immediately become a couple after that or did it take some time before you both became one officially?

Jimmy did it on a whim. It was just kind of. Random too. They were talking and he went "God I would love to be with you" and Lita just goes "HUH." They didn't say anything after that took litteraly 2 days of whiplash before they finally talked about it and got somewhere.

5. Who cares about the first date really. What was the second date like? Who was the one that planned it or did you both plan it together? If you went somewhere specific for it, why that location? And if you did a specific activity on the date, why that?

Second date they would consider... would be a late late dinner in the courthouse. It wasn't planned, but it was sweet time together to enjoy things when they're calm and died down. Sonic mozzarella sticks and sandwiches, laughing about the court loss. It wasn't planned but it was fun!

6. What was the worst date you’ve had? What made it the worst? When did you both realize that it was bad? Did you do anything to try to make up for it and/or fix it?

Mid Movie Saul gets a call. Puts it on silent. Turns to her and shakes it off. Lita's phone goes off, checks the contact... it's Mike!! What a suprise!! The two leave the theater to answer it, and God it's a whole ordeal he's in. Gotta go fix it!! Totally fine just... yeepers.

Thats why he latched onto the comm situation so fast. Tangible results!!! And ofc i couldnt resist putting a Jimmy mention in there as well-- the convo abt him wanting to talk to Grian actually wasnt in the original outline, but as i was writing it came together real well and felt like a good segue into Tango learning about Grian's missing comm. Httyd au, I was thinking that Gem could fill the role of hiccup (befriending a dragon and all that) and Sausage and Fwhip could be heather and Dagur because of the not-sibling relationship those 3 have.

not really, just the basic brazilian™ ones such as not leaving our flip flops upside down, doing a little cross in the ground when a knife falls etc sdjlkj

the hypersexualization of brazilian women is something that really rustles my jimmies (also ppl thinking we speak spanish 😑 WE DONT!!!!!) and a stereotype which i somewhat agree with is the fact that we’re really hospitable to people. i never even went to other countries yet but based on what i’ve heard from foreign friends we absolutely rule on that sense so lmao

OKAY SO ‘ultimatum’ generally suggests some kind of serious choice, but since i was working on the aforementioned and uncomfortably serious ‘weakness’, i wanted to do something lighthearted. so i decided to go with a game show!! and accidentally made alec cataldi the jimmy carr of the ml ‘verse oops

chat loses the game show because he is a Rich Boy and does not know how much coffee actually costs (yes, blatant ohshc ref, i know); then there’s obligatory ladynoir because they’re doing the whole ‘celebrity episode for charity’ thing and chat is a sap and i can’t resist the Pun

i kinda set up ‘final ultimatum’ as a game show about making difficult choices to keep on theme, contrasting ‘the challenge’ in jackady which seems to be about overcoming difficult challenges. which is why there’s a truth or dare wheel for this particular final ultimatum and why ‘prank call a celebrity’ is the dare it lands on and why adrien agreste is the audience’s top pick (XY was second :P)

after chat absconds to the closet to be adrien (leaving a very confused backstage crew behind), he’s faced with the same kind of conflict that teen/early adult me did: wtf do you do when two compartmentalized aspects of your life suddenly interact with little to no warning. does not compute. error error error

and then ladybug actually speaks and even though he’s still keyed up, he also kinda relaxes because he knows ladybug even if he doesn’t know how to react to her as adrien, someone who’s supposed to be a completely different person from chat noir, her supercrimefighting partner

ladybug, meanwhile, is given a cell phone by alec to call adrien and is desperately trying to think of a prank call that isn’t mean (and so is the author). ask if his refrigerator is running? that doesn’t make sense for adrien or in french. call him up and pretend he called her? super rude omg. what? what should be the prank???

then the spotted gears in her head go into overdrive as she remembers the only wholesome fake link meme
