This scene is so tragically funny to me because the people sitting around them were probably thinking that they were such a cute couple on a date who can't get enough of each other, sharing food, so in love that they're all giggly throwing heart eyes left and right when in reality Dean was asking his angel boyfriend to kill him in various ways.

I truly love the fact that Jensen loves Dean so much. It’s amazing seeing actors love a character as much as we do.

But what I don’t love, is I feel like he has tunnel vision with Dean. He’s so caught up in the way that he’s intending to portray the character when he acts, that he disregards the way it’s actually being perceived by the audience, as if his intention is all that matters.

Like yeah, I get that you didn’t “play him that way [as in love with Cas]” But art is subjective and interpretive and regardless of what you intended, your audience is telling you that Dean is reading as very much in love with Castiel.

Also, your acting isn’t the only factor here. It’s the music choices, the cinematography, the setting, the editing, the writing. It is the result of everything. You not “playing him that way” does not have more weight than all of these things put together.

I said I wasn't going to discuss the other actors but I just remembered something I find funny.

In perspective, we can totally see when JA didn't feel like acting or didn't have direction that day because he would just say his lines without emotions while the fans kept wondering what was wrong with Dean.

My favorite example is the "soulless Dean" theory that was prevalent during season 11.

Dean: 😐😐😐😐😐

SPN fans: Dean's lack of reaction is something meaningful with implications for the mytharc.

JA: *too bored to act*

Mfs be casting Brad Pitt to play Arthur Morgan in a live action like what the fuck 💀 He's one of the worst fancasts I've ever seen. Not only he looks nothing like him, he's 60 and doesn't have the acting range for that.

The only known celebrity fit enough to play Arthur is Jensen Ackles, no one else. Unless they find someone who isn't known to the public which is preferable cause I'm tired of seeing the same people everywhere.

Jensen has the looks, the voice, the accent, the acting skills, he's the perfect Arthur.

Don't get me started on the John Marston fancasts, those are even worse.

Tho I don't want a rdr2 live action, especially if it goes down the tlou route, god no. Give us a Rdr1 remake or Rdr3.
