Griffin Dunne and Teri Garr in After Hours (Martin Scorsese, 1985)
Cast: Griffin Dunne, Rosanna Arquette, Verna Bloom, Tommy Chong, Linda Fiorentino, Teri Garr, John Heard, Cheech Marin, Catherine O'Hara, Dick Miller, Will Patton, Robert Plunket, Bronson Pinchot. Screenplay: Joseph Minion. Cinematography: Michael Ballhaus. Production design: Jeffrey Townsend. Film editing: Thelma Schoonmaker. Music: Howard Shore.
Martin Scorsese's dark farce After Hours puts protagonist Paul Hackett (Griffin Dunne) through all the wringers that 1980s New York City could provide. It's often described as "Kafkaesque" with reason: Scorsese borrowed from a Kafka story in the scene in which Paul tries to persuade a doorman to let him into a night club. But it also reflects the director's feelings about being given the runaround by the bureaucracy of the movie business as he tried to get The Last Temptation of Christ (1988) under way. There are those who think After Hours has a misogynistic edge, given that most of Paul's troubles stem from his interactions with women, starting with Marcy (Rosanna Arquette), who flirts with him and sets the whole fantastic plot in motion. But Paul's frantic inability to seize control of events -- some of which, like the loss of his money, are pure accident -- is also to blame. He's an Odysseus blown off course by fate, with the occasional Circe or siren to make things worse.

Jeffrey Ross Hyman (May 19, 1951 – April 15, 2001) is known professionally as Joey Ramone and is best known as the lead vocalist and songwriter of the punk band the Ramones. Joey was also known for his pop-like lyrics and lanky body structure. As a teen, he was a fan of bands like The Beatles, David Bowie, and The Who, especially Pete Townsend. He began playing the drums at 13 and then started playing the guitar at 17. He played with a band called Sniper for a little bit. He later co-founded Ramones with his friends John Cummings and Douglas Colvin, best known as Johnny and Dee Dee Ramone. The band adopted the stage name "Ramone" from an early Beatles reference. The original lineup was Joey on the drums and Dee Dee on vocals. But Dee Dee wasn't the best, singing and playing the bass. Their manager couldn't find a suitable drummer Thomas Erdelyi (Tommy Ramone) played drums because they couldn't find a drummer. Despite only having minor commercial success with Ramones, they left a big impression on music and pop culture when they were still playing. Joey Ramone is he was punk without having an aggressive or tough attitude. Joey and Ramones are synonyms with punk; he is an icon in punk and pop culture.

Antonia Black, Australia - Britain, b 1938.
A born colourist, the daughter and granddaughter of artists, Antonia’s life seems to revolve around colour and sunlights, the tricks it can play and the wild ways in which it can capture the imagination.  Born in Perth, Western Australia, she moved to Sydney with her family in 1959 and studied at the National Art School.
She then moved to England in 1960 and spent five years at the Slade, and studied under Sir William Coldstream, with tutors William Townsend and Jeffrey Camp.  Her greatest influence, however, was Frank Auerbach with whom she worked for two years.

Očkovaní lidé tvoří většinu úmrtí na COVID-19: Data CDC
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Jeffrey Ross Hyman (May 19, 1951 – April 15, 2001), is known professionally as Joey Ramone and is best known as the lead vocalist and songwriter of the punk band the Ramones. Joey was also known for his pop-like lyrics and lanky body structure. As a teen, he was a fan of bands like The Beatles, David Bowie, and The Who, especially Pete Townsend. He began playing the drums at the age of 13 and then began playing the guitar at 17. He played with a band called Sniper for a little bit. He later co-founded Ramones with his friends John Cummings and Douglas Colvin best known as Johnny and Dee Dee Ramone. The band adopted the stage name “ Ramone” from an early Beatles reference. The original lineup was Joey on the drums and Dee Dee on vocals. But, Dee Dee wasn’t the best and singing and playing the bass. Their manager was unable to find a suitable drummer Thomas Erdelyi (Tommy Ramone) played drums because they couldn’t find a drummer. Despite, only having only minor commercial success The Ramones when they were still playing left a big impression on music and pop culture( I can go on about that later). Joey Ramone is he was punk without having to have an aggressive or tough attitude. Joey and Ramones are synonyms with punk he is an icon in punk and pop culture
