Day 5: Only One Bed
Sometimes your weighted blanket keeps you comfy.
Other times, it suffocates you and you want to kill it with fire. XD

The Bats were in charge of this mission and extraction was not for another ten hours. It had been a grueling day and all they wanted to do was sleep. The safehouse wasn't exactly a safehouse. More like a small room to hide in with barely a futon, a dingy bathroom and some supplies in it. At least it's clean.
Tim was so tired he just flopped onto the one small futon after his shower and closed his eyes. Not even the sight of Jason's naked abs could make him move from this spot. It helps that they've been married for three years. And he was dead tired.
"Oomph!" Tim choked when a heavy weight dropped on him from head to toe.
"Hmm. This bed is so comfy." Jason wiggled above him, deliberately squishing him into the thin futon that he would probably leave a man shaped indentation outlined like one of those crime scene photos from ye olden days.
"Jason, if you don't get up, I will stab you in the kidneys."
"Always right to the stabbing with you." Jason groaned and tried to maneuver to his side.
"In the League, we were taught to stab first then ask questions later," he replied as he finally got to breathe again. "Besides, I will only stab you a little bit. Light affectionate stabbing."
"Jesus." Jason's grin was infectious. "There will be no stabbing tonight. I have enough bruises as it is." He wrapped his arm over Tim's waist and pulled him over so they can lay on their sides and sort of still not fit on the futon. "Let's just get some sleep. You can stab me with your dick when we get home."
"Deal." He was buying this place a bigger mattress for next time. Just in case.

Red Hood is investigating a case of people disappearing and body remnants appearing weeks later by the Gotham bay. Everyone in the area keep pointing at a beast that recently started showing up! it's gold and has horns and is scary. That beast must be the culprit >: (
Well, he is not a beast and is not the culprit and he is very very mad about being accused of half eating his food! He is a dragon and he doesn't eat shit thank you very much! He has a healthy diet that doesn't involve garbage >:[ ! So he will assist this red hooded human this time to solve this mystery and will get the hell out. Or will he...

Tim snatches Jason’s helmet from him and treats him to a taste of his own medicine, standing on his tiptoes to reach up and push it onto Jason’s head. “Get on the bike, sweetheart,” Tim throws back in his face.
And fuck, is he glad that Tim didn’t say that last bit until the helmet was over his head, because whatever Jason’s face just did can’t have been normal.
He’s so surprised he can’t even think of anything to say. He just stands there blinking like a fucking idiot under his helmet as Tim’s eyes crinkle in the corners, the way they do whenever he’s winning.
“Oh, look at that, you’re blushing down to your neck,” Tim says, and Jason doesn’t need to be able to see his mouth, he can hear the grin on Tim's lips.

"Oh, Tim." Donna's voice practically drips disappointment in just those two syllables and Jason has to brace himself not to cringe.
"I don't see what the problem is?" Rayner says. "The ring chooses the new Lantern, that's how it works when there's no Lantern left to make a decision."
"Yeah, well, this time the ring chose wrong," Jason snarls, and tries his best to tug the ring off the kid's finger.
"Hey! Ow, that hurts!"
The alien Lantern moves forward, clearly intent on pulling him off the kid. He's about to move to block him, but Drake unexpectedly twists in his arms, angling his body so that he's between Jason and the Lantern.
"I don't know how you do it on Oa," Jason snaps, "but on Earth we generally frown on conscripting children into paramilitary organizations."
"I'm not a child! I'm sixteen," Tim protests, shoving at him.
Jason doesn't budge. "Exactly! You're way too fucking young to be doing this kind of shit. You know what the turnover rate is for Green Lanterns. You're going to get yourself killed."

Tim sucked in the tiniest breath through his teeth as the thread pulled through his skin.
“Almost done,” Jason said.
“I’m fine, Jason.” Tim rolled his eyes. He could handle a few stitches. It wasn’t the first time he’d caught the sharp end of a knife, and it wouldn’t be the last.
“I know. You hate that part, though.” The quiet snip of scissors against thread cut through the following silence.
Tim’s lip twitched down in the corner. They’d been working together for a few months, getting closer than they ever were, but Tim hadn’t needed stitches in that time, so he wasn’t sure how Jason knew that. He hummed in agreement, just to fill the silence.
Then the sound of a bandage tearing open came out from behind him, and then Jason’s thumb and forefinger were pressing gently to his skin, framing the wound. The touches were light, warm, softer than Tim had known Jason was capable of, and he had to repress a little pleased noise as he smoothed the bandage into place.
“Alright, looks good.” Jason’s fingers slid a few inches down his back, slowly dragging down his skin, before they pulled away.
Tim’s gaze dropped to the undershirt in his lap, his forearms still threaded through it. After a moment’s consideration, he chucked it away instead of pulling it back on, falling back against the couch with a sigh. He closed his eyes for a few breaths, trying to shove down the warm feeling in his gut. When he opened them again, Jason’s gaze was resting on his torso.
“Like what you see?” fell out of Tim’s mouth, the words as dry as his tongue.
