Jackknife was a science baby. He was created in a lab on Yautja Prime. His purpose was to introduce new genetics into the Yautja gene pool. He is capable of naturally turning invisible and altering his body temperature. He is also a hermaphrodite but identifies as a male.

There were mixed feelings regarding Jackknife’s existence, a debate between staying with old tradition and embracing new ideas. Regardless, Jackknife lived his life like any other Yautja, with slight expectations.

But at some point, Jackknife grew bored with hunting; the thrill of hunting for trophies no longer mattered to him. Instead, he picked up the hobby of cooking. He’ll visit different planets and learn the recipes.

From what he learned, he would return to his clan on Yautja Prime and cook warm meals for the maternity ward. The females and children are always excited to see Jackknife, mainly looking forward to eating Jackknife’s cooking.
