before i proceed, this is not a hate post!!! i am just saying things

i need people to understand that part of shinichiro's "charm" and appeal as a character, is that he isn't as good as people pointed him out to be. he's not the best person in the world. he isn't an "uwu" goody two shoes. he's pretty flawed and kinda selfish sometimes. he has good intentions ofc, but most of the time, they fall flat because of the outcome. and before people argue with me, lemme pull out some receipts

sano shinichiro has:

told haruchiyo to forgive mikey for uh *checks notes* mutilating his face

said "that's just how he is" in reference to haruchiyo swinging a katana at people and ending up in jail because of it

disregarded haruchiyo's mental health when it came to time leaping and made him shoulder the burden of his demented younger brother (😭)

gave an 8 year old time leaping powers because he had good vibes

murdered someone

let's stop pretending he didn't do anything wrong. love shinichiro for who he is!! a huge fucking idiot who has no foresight. with a really big heart, that is slightly compromised. because he's probably a traumatized kid. not like he had to raise his younger siblings with no support or anything. his mom died and his dad was a fucking hoe, then he died without ever being present in his life. the guy had it rough which in turn made him a little rough. i don't understand how you can like a character by fabricating facts about them and denying the actual...facts. i hate some of the things that shin has done, but i still love him. i am a true shin fan because i accept that he's fucking great and an inspiration to so many people but he's also kinda awful a bit <33.

I hope I’m not one of the few people that thinks that Toman 2.0 still has a chance? I mean i was just thinking of some of the possible matchups and:

Shion vs. Peh: Shion will get one-shot…As he always does..

Ran and Rindou vs. Smiley and Angry: Angry was able to take them down as the “blue ogre” so I definitely can’t wait to see their reactions to seeing him again. XD And he has Smiley this time around so I can see it as their win

Sanzu vs. Benkei, Wakasa, and Senju: Yeah I definitely think Benkei and Waka are going to join up with Toman during the battle. Their bond with Senju is too deep for them not to (and maybe this was what Waka had meant when he told Takemichi to “Take care of Brahman’s princess“, as in let her continue to be the badass she is)

Koko vs. Inui: Yeah this was obvious. I’m hoping they’re able to kiss and make-up sort out the Akane mess and realize that they both care about each other

Mochi vs. Pah: Idk I just see this matchup making sense

Hanma vs. Mitsuya and Hakkai: Yeah I can’t imagine only one person being able to take down Hanma it’s definitely going to be a multiple person job. Draken also fought Hanma twice so it makes sense for Mitsuya to finish the job

Kakucho vs. Chifuyu: I’m actually looking forward to this possible pair up. I mean they both have dead boyfriends so I can imagine them having some sort of conversation about that. Or Chifuyu can be a savage and say, “So you’re so obsessed with finding a leader that you chose the guy Izana hated the most? Izana must really hate you right now.“

Mikey vs. Takemichi: The ultimate fight! Not going to lie I low-key feel like this may end up like the Pikachu vs. Pikachu fight during the first Pokemon movie with Takemichi refusing to fight back and Mikey crying, telling him to fight XD So I definitely think that Takemichi is going have to scold Mikey like “an older brother would“ because he’s not beating Mikey in a battle unless Takemichi gets his own dark impulses. And then when Mikey is contemplative about what Takemichi said, he can land one punch—like he did with Taiju—and Mikey is finally able to see the sky and taste defeat. Or Takemichi can also be a savage and say, “Mikey I’ve seen you kill our friends in past timelines, you’ve killed me. But, allowing the guy that helped kill Emma in your gang? Manjiro, if Draken was alive, he would hate you. ” RIP Takemitchy you’re definitely dying if you say that but imagine though

But yeah just wanted to say that the battle isn’t completely hopeless! And we also have the Mizo Middle!!

I actually generally think toman will win this, I think they're a lot more determined to win and actually have something to fight for. Toman simply wants the win more, they're going to be fighting with everything they've got. Also haven't we seen this before? Like when they went against Tenjiku and everyone assumed they would lose because of all the strong characters they had. The point is nobody should be underestimating or counting toman out yet. They've faced these odds before and come out on top.

I'm actually hoping that we won't get the same match ups as before, I don't want to see another Peh vs Shion and Angry vs the Haitani brothers, it would be more interesting to mix it up. Though I can't argue against the symbolism of one pair of brothers fighting the other. Also if Peh fights Shion then I really hope it starts with Shion saying some crap about how "he's gotten stronger then last time" only to be immediately taken down again.

I also think you're giving Sanzu waaaay to much credit here, he only managed to fight Ran and maybe Rindou???? To a draw, if he has to go against Senju, Waka and Benkei then he's not even lasting a minute. I'm hoping Senju can fight by herself too.

Yeah I can see another Koko and Inui confrontation happening either with a fight or with one of them sacrificing their own life to save the other. I'm also totally on board with the Mochi vs Pah, it just makes sense.

I actually think Mitsuya could potentially take down Hanma solo, Hanma is another character who i think we tend to overpower a bit. He blocked Mikey's kick like once, then made Draken fight a bunch of other guys before drawing with him, then got beaten by Draken after crashing his bike. I think the only character he's actually beaten is Chifuyu and that's not much of an accomplishment. So it's hard to say exactly how strong he is, we also have the same problem with Mitsuya though. Who keeps getting taken out of fights before we can see what he can do, like when Inui ambushed him or when Ran ambushed him or when Rindou/Shion ambushed him. So who really knows???

Chifuyu's getting stomped if he has to fight Kakucho though, Kakucho's been established as one of the stronger members and Chifuyu's never won a real fight, so rip Chifuyu. I do like the similarities between them though, I also have a feeling that Kakucho might switch sides during all this???

Yeah Takemichi is definitely going to have to come up with some kind of heart felt speech to get through to Mikey though. But I actually think Takemichi will have to fight someone else first, sort of like how he had to go up against Kakucho to get to Kisaki in the Tenjiku fight. Maybe we get Chifuyu and Takemichi against Kakucho? Before he switches sides??? Takemichi's definitely getting a beating before he manages to help Mikey though.

And of course they have the mizo middle gang, that just means their victory is 100% assured.
