For the first time, we're bringing you a week to celebrate the rare pairs of Inuyasha!
Event Info:
Dates: March 10th- 16th
Submissions: Anything and everything - art, fics, poetry, amvs, headcanons, manga colorings, aesthetics, etc.
Prompts:
These prompts are not required, but are there to assist in the creative process. Please feel free to submit anything related to Rare Pairs during this week. We'd love to see it!

After selling their hair salon to pay for her mother’s hospital bills, Yura Sakasagami needs to find a new job, and she starts working as a maid for a wealthy newlywed couple hiding a secret that will change her life in the most unexpected way.
This is a companion fic to “Front Piece” and tells the story of how Yura and Kikyo met and got together. It can be read as a stand-alone story.

After meeting Sota at the mall some week ago, Kaede is determined to befriend him at all costs—even getting a weekend job—in hopes of getting to know the cute boy and start dating him.
Luckily for the teenage girl, her big sister Kikyo and her best friend Rin know the right people who might speed the process along.
This is a companion fic to “Front Piece” and it develops the romance between Kaede (teenager in this universe) and Sota Higurashi. It can be read as a stand-alone story. Additional notes at the end of this post.

Untitled (for now) Kaede/Sota WIP from the “Front Piece” universe.
This fic it’s gonna be posted when the Inuyasha rarepair week kicks off. Originally, I was gonna develope it inside Front Piece, but I felt it would convolute the main story (inukag + the subplot of kikyura finally being out in the open) so it’s gonna be a separate piece.
Here's the introduction:
With all the excitement about learning the truth about her sister—her fake relationship with Inuyasha and her actual relationship with Yura—Kaede didn't have time to process all the information Kikyo had given her about Sota.
His last name was Higurashi; he regularly practiced soccer and lived at a shrine with his mother and grandfather. He had been born out of the country and moved back with his family when he lost his father when he was ten.
And even with all the details her big sister—and Inuyasha—had provided, Kaede needed to know more about the cute boy. She bit her lower lip, considering her next step, and tentatively opened Facebook on her phone and typed his name.
Kikyo would definitely scold her if she found out what her little sister was doing.
His profile was semi-private and didn’t allow Kaede access to his pictures. Huffing in annoyance, the teenager clicked on “Friends” on a whim.
“Holy shit,” she whispered to herself as she noticed their one mutual friend.
Shippo Sagara.
They weren’t exactly friends, per se, but they knew each other because the fox demon was dating Kaede’s best friend Rin, so they became Facebook friends. Quickly exiting the social media, she pulled up her message app and shot a text to her BFF.
[5:32 PM to Rin] Tell your bf to pick you up after school tomorrow. Gotta ask him some questions.
[5:34 PM from Rin] ???
[5:34 PM to Rin] Shippo knows the cutie I told you about. I'll explain better tomorrow. TTYL.
[5:34 PM from Rin] 🙀 🙀 🙀 srsly?!! OMG!!!! txting him right NOW!! cya tomorrow! XOXO
Kaede couldn’t hide her excitement, and hopefully, Shippo would be helpful and help her approach Sota.
She really, really wanted to date that boy.

Hey guys! Got a question. Can we pull a chapter from one of our works and post it separately and expanded? I’ll explain better, lol
I’m currently working on a fic that has focus on inukag, but the side ship is Kikyo/Yura and there’s also a small tease at Kaede (teen, ofc)/Sota. In the main fic I’m working on a small flashback scene on how Kikyo/Yura got together as part of an upcoming chapter. So the question is, can I grab that flashback, expand it and post it as it’s own story for this event? Thank you!
