Did Chepe have any female friends? Ones he didn't have a fling with? Oh & Does José have other friends he greeted after his return?
I guess not many. The only one I can truly say is Ophelia, but he is more afraid of her than anything else. Since she knows of his relationship with Jose and the fact that she caught Chepe spending the evening with Jose😖🤣 . (there is a story for that but that might be too spicy for this blog)
As for Jose, he did not have many friends or if any in Encanto. He was a very introvert young man and did not talk much. Thus him always having a toothpick or something in his mouth. He always kept himself busy with helping the town, but really didn't have much time to socialize. I think once he left Encanto and joined his uncle's gang, he pretty much bloomed and opened up.
okay so. am i the only person who thinks its a little ridiculous to say you cant think a character is attractive because said character is a minor when said character is a) a teenager and b) animated?
like im sorry but i dont think its immoral to look at a drawing of a fictional 14 year old and think theyre hot.
and i also dont think its an immoral act to have them in a tournament of "most attractive X character" because those tournaments almost entirely consist of two pictures of fictional characters and a poll asking which is more attractive.
theyre not real. its a drawing of a person, and that person isnt actually 14 because theyre not real. in the media theyre in, they are canonically 14 but that media itself is entirely fictional.
like this is all just thought crime. its puritanism in the name of "progress". its people flagellating themselves for thinking one of the shadows on the wall is hot.
yknow AI art has ruined an entire genre of painting to me, i saw one of those smooth anime-realism pieces and immidiately thought ''ugh, AI art'' until i noticed it was posted by an established deviantart user 6 years ago. like ive never been a huge fan of that genre but it looks like a pretty difficult style to master and i feel bad for the artists who specialized in anime-realism only to have their entire market jacked by people typing keywords into midjourney.
I just think that 'animals are living intelligent creatures that have feelings and deserve to be respected' and 'when done properly farming is beneficial to both people and animals and there's nothing wrong with raising and killing animals for food, clothing, and other products' are concepts that very much can and should coexist
Today I saw a pic of a baby cowbird next 2 its nest "parent" and it was so much bigger!!!!! Which is the sort of thing that gets normal people upset about the injustice of nest parasitism but makes *me* worry if baby cowbirds get bird dysmorphia
[image id: a four-page comic. it is titled "immortality” after the poem by clare harner (more popularly known as “do not stand at my grave and weep”). the first page shows paleontologists digging up fossils at a dig. it reads, “do not stand at my grave and weep. i am not there. i do not sleep.” page two features several prehistoric creatures living in the wild. not featured but notable, each have modern descendants: horses, cetaceans, horsetail plants, and crocodilians. it reads, “i am a thousand winds that blow. i am the diamond glints on snow. i am the sunlight on ripened grain. i am the gentle autumn rain.” the third page shows archaeopteryx in the treetops and the skies, then a modern museum-goer reading the placard on a fossil display. it reads, “when you awaken in the morning’s hush, i am the swift uplifting rush, of quiet birds in circled flight. i am the soft stars that shine at night. do not stand at my grave and cry.” the fourth page shows a chicken in a field. it reads, “i am not there. i did not die” / end id]
