I forced myself to watch every single episode of Supernatural. (After I "discovered" Misha on YouTube doing cute cooking videos with his kids. Then I got pulled into GISH. I found I didn't understand a lot of the items because I'd never seen Supernatural. So, after a while, I gave in and watched the whole show, beginning to end. I understand the context of more GISH items now. But per watching the show holy shit ONCE WAS ENOUGH. Never again. I swear my IQ dropped 20 points during that binge.)
Really? That's so awesome. I haven't met anyone who got to know Misha from outside spn. How does it feel to find out about him from outside spn? I'm glad you found him, he must influenced you a lot that you gave in and watched spn馃憖
YES EXACTLY!! Once was enough! Finally someone who has watched it only once like me!! I feel you anon watching that thing once was enough damage and I can't go through that again

1/On the topic of Misha and that movie he did - I haven't seen the movie. I'm Canadian, I remember the case. I will never watch that movie - but I can see why it would be traumatizing for him to have done. The movie was made very soon after the events it depicted. Everything was very fresh here in Canada. The sole surviving victim of his character called him and they talked for two hours (www(.)youtube(.)com/w). He had very little knowledge of the story before he took the part and beyond all of
2/the messed up things that happened on set, I think he was completely not anticipating that he would cause deep pain for so many people. I'm not his biggest fan but he would have to be a sociopath to not have that affect him. Add to that his weird method acting - type experiences and yea, I can see why that would be traumatizing. Nothing on the set of SPN would hold a candle. Sorry if that got a bit too impassioned - I'm trying to give context, not chew anyone out.
I don鈥檛 think you came off as too impassioned, but very calm!聽
I didn鈥檛 know that the movie happened so soon afterwards or that he talked to the surviving victim. I know another anon mentioned Misha seeking out the role, and even if that鈥檚 the case, I don鈥檛 think he sought out the creepy director, and all the horror stories that came from that set. Like I said, we don鈥檛 know the situation that he was in and whether or not he could have left the project or not so I can鈥檛 100% fault him for staying. I think his reactions and behaviors towards the movie afterwards are pretty telling in the sense that he obviously didn鈥檛 want people to contribute to the movie/crew and he seems to want to forget the movie all together.聽
