I'll never be able to take the theory that Vincent is Sephiroth's real father seriously cuz I cannot stress enough how important I think it is to the plot that Vincent wanted to fuck Lucrecia and did not get to.
#once again i jest but now i have to actually talk about it#like. okay we have no proof of any actual timeline for the dirge flashbacks other than. it was at least 30 years ago#so who knows how long they were at the manor. could have been weeks before The Incident. or months. or maybe a full year! who knows#but to me a timeline of like. they fucked and like a week later vincent found The Evidence and lucercia had her little breakdown#AND THEN EXTREMELY QUICKLY SHE AGREED TO THE EXPERIMENT AND IT COULD GO ONE OF TWO WAYS#1. she knew she was pregnant and thats why she agreed to the experiment cuz there was already a usable subject#and therefore she must have fucked hojo like a week after she fucked vincent AND THATS STUPID FAST FOR THESE EVENTS#or 2. she didnt know. agreed to the experiment. fucked hojo. and therefore thought seph was hojo's and NOT vincent's#AND BY THE WAY. i dont even actually believe hojo fucked either!!! cuz theyre both scientists so why wouldnt they think IVF was the best way#okay. well.... hojo is canonically a fucked up little freak. so. he might have taken the opportunity to... get in there.#also when did ivf even start being a thing? cuz that may play a factor into this if nomura even considered that#well either way lets just unfortunately assume hojo got in there#ITS STILL AN ODDLY FAST TIMELINE#also. fuck man doesnt lucrecia have a later line in dirge where she actually says shes in love with hojo? or something along those lines#IMPLYING ITS BEEN AWHILE SINCE SHE HAD THE FALLING OUT WITH VINCENT. #it kicked off today but in my defence she's actually proper in the wrong this time even my DAD called her a bitch and my mum is FUMING#baso my sister came into my work with her mate when i was closing the other day and all the staff GLARED at them bc of aforementioned#close so i was being v chill so everyone 1) knew it was my sister and not some customer coming in late and 2) her friend wouldnt be uncomfy#like that's the real kicker her i was being extra laid back FOR her friend so he'd feel more at ease. and one thing about me is yes ive#said countless times i have a rural accent but my mum also raised me to know when and how to speak nice if need be bc people are cunts here#so when im waitressing i speak nicely bc it's a stuck up restaurant w stuck up customers but when im with my sister? making a point of#being laid back? my normal accent came through. and her mate when i was gone said i sounded 'really [from the county we live in]'#which WOULD NOT BE A COMPLIMENT. it's baso saying 'your sister sounds local and chavy' without using such explosive words#and my sister LET HIM SAY IT. (2) a djembe i honestly don't remember getting. i've had it since i was a teenager though
(3) special tloz edition genuine ocarina
(4) fleamarket melodica
(5) liddle harmonica that was so cheap that i have two of these somehow
(6) NOSE FLUTE which is the funniest instrument. you can get these for like €1
(7) my mom's old recorder
now for the string section, plus one honorary guest, because all the following instruments happen to have names
on the top are the girlfriends :) i bought my BEAUTIFUL showstopping incredible matte black electric guitar off of a guy on ebay who had already named her mina, so when i got my bass guitar (also off ebay) to be mina's huge girlfriend i named her lucy. my acoustic western is called oscar because i literally dug him out of someone else's trash. (its a sesame street reference.) the electric violin i somehow convinced my parents to gift me as a teen was named quincy by gc, the accordion's name is van helsing. :)

not pictured is my acoustic drumset, which is disassembled in the basement, because i currently live in an apartment and cant play it here. i probably should bring myself to just sell it, but i cant. :( my parents got it at aldi (yep) when i was like 5, and it was my brother's for the next 10 years, until i took over, and it's been with me ever since. i added a few cymbals with my own pocket money back then too because my brother and aldi are basic bitches and i wanted to rock out. so..... idk. ill lug that thing around with me until the day i die
bonus: last year i got a 3/4 guitar for free off ebay because the neck was broken, so i turned the head into a keyholder and the body into a menorah

guess who finally started only friends!!!! the way I have been liking posts about it since even before it aired but never actually had the guts to go watch it but the TIME WAS RIGHT yesterday and I watched it and why is it... so flipping good?
#i was scared at first cause everyone said it was jusf full of... a lot of physical intimacy but it is so much more than that#ive only just finished episode 3 but its so gripping because of how invested the actors are in their roles and embodying their characters#like RAY OH MY GOD MARRY ME??? nah jk khao is just 😘😍🥰#and ofc my bby first - he plays sand so well even if im not the biggest fan of the singing 😭 i love HIM too much to care#only friends the series#ive always been wary of top cause force is a liverpool fan and if ive learnt anything from my 18 years on this planet its dont trust them#immediately at least#some of my best friends are liverpool fans but this would be my first show of his and so far so... hmmmm#one major thing which put me off even starting was that i saw a clip saying boston and gap aka neo and drake hook up episode 1#and i CANNOT watch that after watching cause youre my boy like these are my babies but it was fine in the end because i just skipped it 🤣#ive come to realise i could literally not care less about sex so i just skip all those scenes because the show has more depth than that#anyways i will keep watching and hopefully catch up before next saturday!!!

TEZUKA'S BABY#there was another one that credited him with Ocarina of Time's themes#like he hasnt spent the last 20 years explicitly denouncing the idea of themes and stories in games and the standards OoT set for Zelda#god#ok it's time for the Miyamoto Rant#he's the grandfather of modern video games#but he's a drunk barely functional grandfather whose primary contribution was conceiving the infant#he's been taking credit for other people's work the moment he got promoted#his actual game design looks like donkey kong arcade zelda 1 color splash star fox zero#even in mario the actual physics and interactions that made the game what it was were created by several different devs...#he never Richard Garriot'ed any of “his” games and wasnt even a proper dev on the real groundbreakers like Mario 3 and World#he hasnt gotten his hands dirty since the early famicom days with primitive games like Mario and Zelda 1#absolutely he played a vital role in the history of the medium#directing the projects that spearheaded the transition from tablegame-like repetitive rounds to more art-like full experiences#but he wasnt responsible for the later masterpieces people tend to credit him for. Too early yet to tell how Daniel’s future in the sport will pan out, but as someone whose first proper F1 season was 2015 I gotta say Daniel in Red Bull just feels good, feels organic. Much like how I will always and forever associate Seb with Ferrari and the first image that comes to mind when I think of him is Seb in red, it’s the same with Daniel. Seeing pics of him in their navy team gear... man it’s like I’ve been transported back in time.
