you inadvertently put it in my head, and now I keep remembering how much I hated Piper's audition recipe. she does all this cooking, forgets the most crucial ingredient, and then drops like two drops of port on a single piece of pasta after everything's already been cooked. and somehow that's supposed to have the same effect as the pasta having been cooked in a reduced wine sauce for a good hour or so. I call bullshit. plus she gets hired after one bite, like he doesn't even taste the damn pork

okay literally i was watching the pilot with my friend just the other night and we were pissing ourselves laughing at that audition recipe so sometime in the near future we’re doing a charmed nite where the menu is plain penne noodles and port. served like cereal. bone app the teeth. 

I just read a fic that was a JoexNickyxbooker (already on thin fucking ice) where nicky gets ambushed and when they go to save him the whole story devolves into booker having a panic attack about that time he got them all caught and tortured and then jxn spent the rest of the story comforting booker and telling him he's never done anything wrong in his life (and then I still have to read posts about how the ot3 has got nothing to do with booker being white)
