Sibi, have you ever written something that surprised you or took the story in a direction you didn't expect?

Mhhm I can't really say, because I'm generally the type of writer that has no idea how a story should go and who goes with the flow. So all of my stories are created with the flow rather than a clear structure.

HOWEVER I can tell you that it happens very often that I write a version of a story, which I completely rewrite again because I didn't like how it developed.

There are five different versions of Purple Rain, including the offical one. The four other versions, till this day, still give me physical pain thinking about them. In one version Tae and OC end up together while Jungkook leaves her for good never to return. I managed to write their "it's officially over" break up scene around a quarter in and then broke down in ugly tears because I didn't want Kook and OC to break up HAHAHAH so that version definitely took a turn I didn't want. THERE IS also a version where Tae and OC got together during those three months, but then OC wants to go back to Koo again and Tae leaves for good after attacking Jungkook with a knife to the point of Kook needing stitches and threatening OC to cut her with a knife after breaking into her house, which left me sitting there like "bro wtf" which then made me scratch that idea entirely HAHAHA AND okay besties Purple Rain was a joruney, because there is yet another version where Tae and OC got together and Kook got so jealous that he punched Tae's face in to the point of HIM needing stitches and then pressing OC against the wall by her throat after HE broke into her home (bruh the drama) which made him realise how fucked up he is and then he leaves without leaving a trace and OC is left broken hearted. AND another version where OC and Tae got together and Kook got so upset about it that he left for good again, but in the process OC got so upset about being left by Kook that Tae left as well because he didn't want to feel like "the second choice" all the time. BESTIES Purple Rain physically pains me just thinking about the journey I had to take to get there HAFHADJF imagine if I went with any of those routes. Fucking OGC would have never happened. BRUH THE PAIN

AND FOR SANGUIS ALPHA THERE IS A VERSION WHERE TAEHYUNG IS THE ONE TRUE VILLAIN WHO WAS THE ONE TORTURING OC AND KOOK WITH JIMIN'S HELP (and in that version Kook cums from her smell but I decided to scratch that cause I was a lil pussy back then and I was scared people would call me cruel for writing that fjadsjf) AND OC FINDS OUT AFTER SHE ACCIDENTALLY RUNS INTO HIS CLOSET AND SEES THE PLAGUE DOCTOR COSTUME AND THEN TAE IS SUDDENLY BEHIND HER WITH A DARK SMIRK GOING "SO YOU FOUND OUT. I SUGGEST YOU RUN IF YOU WANT TO LIVE" WHICH THEN ENDS IN HIM AND JIMIN HUNTING HER BUT THEN YOONGI COMes and saves her but too late and his blood turns her into a vampire and she has like a major mental breakdown about it and takes out her anger on Yoongi (they fuck violently in a cave while she keeps biting him and sucking his blood) AND THEN IN THE END SHE JOINS THEM DURING THAT ONE FIGHT WHERE IN THE ORIGINAL STORY JIMIN DIES BUT DURING THAT FIGHT JIMIN LIVES AND OC KILLS TAE besties. BESTIES The Sanguis universe could have taken such a different route if only I chose to go with this version fajdfjadj

Himi Adventskalender Last-Minute-Short-Story...

I am sorry. It is a short SxF thingy again. I have a lot of trouble thinking of what to do with the Prompts. Nothing turns out the way it should be. This one is total bullshit because the characters crushed my actual idea and now it sounds even more halfhearted then it would have been otherwise. I am really unhappy with me writing, which is why I wanted to stop doing it. But I more or less promised it and I don’t feel good with not even trying. Its just so hard lately. I can not come up with anything. I might decide to try to write without the Prompts, but I am not sure if that will make it better. What I really need is a muse. However... here is my entry for what actually should have been “Unholy Christmas” and let me tell you, there was suppose to be at least GxG too in this story, but we’ve seen last time what happened when I try to force myself to continue writing. So I decided to stop right after SxF. Anyway... here is what was suppose to be a story about unholy christmas with the so not unholy sounding title: “How about a smile?”

Siberu was pouting. And growling. And really, really willing to make it clear that he was absolutely and definitely unhappy, while he was laying on the bed, hands behind his head and angrily looking at a seemingly random place in the room.

 When Firey came out of the bathroom, only dressed in a huge red towel that was wrapped around her body, he was still pouting. And when he saw her, he couldn’t help but start to complain. “I hate that!”, he started, while sitting up. “Its Christmas and we couldn’t even celebrate it. We didn’t even have time to get a damn tree because of all the fighting.”

 “Usually…”, she began, while folding her arms infront of her chest, “you are complaining that you are bored if there is no fighting going on. I can still hear your words from two weeks ago, that you are soooo awfully bored, because there is no fighting, your beloved Green-chan is so awfully busy and your stupid brother – your words, not mine – always just wants you to learn stuff about this world and our rules. You were almost overjoyed when we had to go back to the battlefield and now you are complaining? Make up your mind, Bakayama.”

 His pout grew even bigger at the use of his old nickname. “That is different. I mean, yes, I really like being on a battlefield and having something to do. But… its not like I want to do this almost all day and all night long for two weeks and on top of that missing the opportunity to actually celebrate Christmas. I mean, come on Firey. Christmas. That’s the day we first meet. Especially we should celebrate it.”

 “You are just angry because you missed your chance for steeling a kiss from Green under the mistletoe this year.”

 “And you are just jealous that I still do that every year”, he grinned in response.

 “You just do that to piss of your brother, so why should I care?”

 “I don’t want to piss him off, I want him to lose his pokerfaced for once and I am doing it for Green, you know that.”

 “Do you want to convince me or yourself?”

 He lets himself fall back into the pillow. “Why are you like that? I am sad about the fact that we couldn’t celebrate Christmas and you don’t even try to cheer me up.”

 “You talk about kissing Green and then what me to cheer you up?”

 “I knew you were jealous”, he grinned once more and she decided to just ignore him and turned towards her closet to find herself something comfortable to wear.

 It was silent for a while and then he started to complain again: “I wish we could at least have exchanged gifts. That’s the best part of Christmas after all.” “What would you have given me then?”, Firey asked, while looking a little bit unhappy into her closet.

 He thought about her question for a moment, his answer was not what she had expected. “I would have gone to London with you. We haven’t been there in a while and technically, this is were we started our relationship… so even more reason to visit that place around Christmas. Plus, I know you like it there.” She gave in to the urge to close her eyes and imagine that for a moment. Just the two of them. Walking though the streets of London, holding hands, Sibi teasing her every now and then… remembering old times… “I would have liked that”, she said then and turned around to look at him: “What would have you wanted in return?”

 He surprised her once more, looking dead serious when he sat up again and answered “How about a smile? I haven’t seen you smile ever since that incident last month. I miss your smile.”

 She tried but failed to give him a true smile and saw how his expression saddened. “I am sorry. Anything else that I can give you for the time being?”

 “What would you be willing to give me?”

 After a moment of seriously thinking about it, she grinned at him and let her towel fall down to the ground. The surprise in his eyes lasted for a few lousy seconds before a smug grin came to his face. “I guess that will do for now.” He got up and pressed her now naked body against his, leaning his forehead against hers, his eyes full of love for her, desire hardly visible under it. “Maybe I find a way to make you smile while we are at it”, he whispered before he have her a kiss full of love that only slowly turned into a kiss full of passion…

T/W: Past Trauma

It was two am and Ann couldn't sleep thanks to what happen earlier. Ever since her late dinner with Sibylle and Kath, her mind kept on running with doubt and uneasiness, which the reason why she having trouble sleeping. She knew Kath didn't mean what she said, since she doesn't know her past and was reincarnate like herself and Sibylle. Deep down Ann knew this was a bad idea to begin with because she wasn't mentally ready for people to know her life. She alway keep quiet about it and try to hide it, so people don't be interested in ask her about it. She doesn't like talking about her past and her growing up in modern time. Not to say her past life was bad, but it was hard for her explain to people since nobody would understand how she felt in those time. Her time here is a totally different story and one she doesn't want to remember. It also didn't help that Ann felt awful about how it turn out. Ann just completely shut down once she heard those words and just wanted hide. She felt so ready to get out of here and go to her place, where she know she would safe, but she can't. She knows once she did that, it would only make the situation worse with Sibylle and Kath. Plus she had no way on getting there, since the Tube is closed and she had no clue where she was to walk there.

After tossing and turning some more, Ann decided to get up from the bed to get some water hoping it would help her calm her mind. Ann slowly open the door, peeked her head out to look around before stepping out, turn the flashlight on her phone, and quietly head to the kitchen. She didn't want to wake Sibylle or Kath up, since she already cause too much trouble for them and she wasn't ready to interact with anyone. When she got to the kitchen, she moved her flashlight around as she walk around and quietly check the cupboards to see if she can find a cup. She prefer a disposable one, so she doesn't make a mess for them. She end up not finding one, but did found where the cups were at. She took one making a mental note to wash it when she done with it, went to the fridge to pour herself cup of water from water dispenser, and took a sip of it. It help her, but not much, so she used her phone light to walk to the table where she was earlier and sat down on one of the chair as she place the cup on the table. She sighed softly and try to think of a way to calm her mind. She notice some magazines stacked on the table and decided to look through them to see if this will do it. After spending a good time looking through all of them using her phone as her light, she finished the last one in the stack and place it back on top. She felt more awake than before and learn a bit about bakery appliances, motorcycles, pet care, and news articles. It probably would be things she won't be ask, but it helps to know a few things just in case. Ann ran out of ideas on what to do and knew she going to really tired when she gets to work.

Her stomach then grumble and place her hand on it. She figured that it was because the macaroni and cheese didn't fill her up. She knew there no way she going to go through their food and eat something that doesn't belong to her. She also can't ignore it either, because it bought back memories of her being hungry and the pain she felt. She then remembered that her dessert was in the fridge, so she got up and went to it. She open the door, took her dessert out, turn around as she closed the door, and place on the kitchen counter. She took the lid off the pan and look at her dessert. The whipped topping got a little ruin thanks to sticking to the lid a little. She thinks when she accidently bump into that guy is why this happened, but she didn't mind it and can smell the coffee flavor alcohol coming from it. She was so really to finally try it, but she stop herself. Her mind was telling her that she didn't deserve it and shouldn't eat it. She tighten her fists as she looked at it and was thinking about how she cause nothing, but trouble for Sibylle and Kath the moment she step foot in the house. She though on giving them as apology gift, but knew that only insult them and make them think that Kath creation wasn't good enough for her. " So that what in the pan..." Ann got scared when she heard this voice and turn around nothing realizing that she swung her arm, which hit something hard with her fist. When she move her flashlight up to see who she hit and saw it Sibylle, she low her arm quickly and told her as she apologize "I'm so sorry" Sibylle was rubbing her arm where Ann hit her, which surprised her by how strong it was, but remembered that Ann must move a lot stuff in her shop in a daily basis. Sibylle answer " It's okay. I did surprised you, so it naturally to act out of instinct and defend yourself." Ann look down to ground still feel bad that she hit Sibylle. Sibylle look at Ann and told her " Why don't you take a seat and I'll make ourselves coffee to go with the tiramisu. You can't eat this without something to drink, plus you have to give it time to rest a little before eating it. Something about enriches the flavors a bit. I'm not too familiar with this." Ann nodded and head back to the table to seat down as she turn the flashlight off and waiting for Sibylle.

Ann was twiddling her thumbs as she watched Sibylle turn on the kitchen light and begin making the coffee for them. She didn't know what to say to her and how Sibylle is going react toward her. She expects Sibylle be angry with her on how she been acting so far and tell her how horrible of person she is, which Ann believes she is. Once Sibylle was done setting it up and put it to brew, she walk to the table where Ann is sitting and sat across from her. Ann gather up courage to said " Siby, I..." but Sibylle stop her by putting her hand up and said sincerely " You don't need to say anything. I understand." Sibylle put hand back down and continue " It's my fault I didn't tell Kath that you were an orphan. I know you told me not tell anyone that you're a reincarnate or you were back, but I could tell her that at least, so it didn't end up that badly." Sibylle took a deep breath and said " I'm sorry this happened Ann. I'm sure if Kath was awake, she would apologize too." Ann was surprised that Sibylle was apologizing to her, but she didn't think she or Kath need to. She knew it wasn't their fault this happened and need to tell them that, so she collected herself and said " Siby, I don't blame for you or Kath for what happen. It's my fault that I reacted like that when I heard Kath mention my parents." She stop twiddling her thumbs and spoke "I haven't thought about my parents in a long time, so I don't know if they would be proud of me or not. My father died when I was really young and my mother died when I was in my teens. I'm sorry that I made you guys think it was your fault." Ann smile a little afterwards to show she was okay. Sibylle listen to Ann and could understand where she was coming from. She too felt like this when she first got reincarnate and didn't know if her parents would of approve of her past actions in her new life. Luckily, her mother did come back and was able to tell her about it. The coffee maker made a sound indicating that it was done and Sibylle got up. She head to it, went to the cupboards to grab to mugs, and ask Ann " How do you like it?" Ann replied " Cream and a little bit of sugar" Sibylle nod and start making it.

After she was done, she carry the two mugs to the table as she said " There may be a chance you won't ever get your answer, but I'm sure your foster parents would been proud of you." This stung Ann a little inside when she heard this and didn't known if she should say something. When Sibylle hand Ann her mug, Ann grab it, thank her, and drank a little of it. Sibylle soon sat down and took a sip of it. Ann put her mug down as she stare at it a little before telling Sibylle " I can't say I know that, since I would need to be in system for that to happen." She knew didn't need to make that comment, but she need to correct Sibylle since she felt like she was lying to her, if she didn't. Sibylle heard this as she put her mug down and didn't understand it at first, until it clicked and felt bad for what she had said. Ann notice this and explained as she moved her mug around a little " I wasn't lucky enough to get adopted. Nobody wanted a teenager and they only picked the younger kids. It hurt me everytime adopt days happen, because it always ended the same way. Eventually, I just decided to stay in my room on those days and stayed at the orphanage, until I was legal age to leave." There was lot she left out, but she wasn't emotional ready to tell it. She knew the reason why she wasn't adopted and why she deserved to stay there. Sibylle place one of her hand on Ann hand and told her sincerely " I may not ever understand how that feels, but I know for sure that those stupid people miss a great opportunity on not having you as their child and witness how far come." This made Ann tear up a little when she heard this because it felt nice to hear something so generous. Sibylle then let go of Ann and said " To tell you the truth, getting adopted wasn't that great as it turn out to be. I felt more at home in juvie than in one of those foster homes. Also that where I met Papabär, but I think you know that already." Ann nodded to show that she does, but it was nice to hear this coming from Sibylle. While they were talking, Kath walk into the kitchen half wake and head to where Sibylle and Ann were. She got near Sibylle, which she turn her head to look at Kath with a soft smile and said " Hey there babe, did we wake you up?" Kath grumble a little before taking the mug from Sibylle and took a sip of the coffee, which Kath face scrunched when it was too dull for her. Sibylle chuckle a little when she saw this and told her " Let me serve you a cup while you take a seat next to me. The usual?" Kath slowly nodded before sitting down while Sibylle got up and went to kitchen to get Kath her coffee. Ann stay quiet as she watch their interaction and thought it was cute. Kath haven't notice Ann was there and was trying to stay awake while Ann went on drink her coffee and was thinking on how she going to interact with Kath.

As Ann was contemplating, she notice the scars on Kath and wondering if she got them when she was in the gang. She remembered Jane mentioned that Kath was in one too, but left for reason. Ann learn that if it was similar to why Sibylle left, then she isn't going to ask her. Sibylle came back with Kath coffee and place it in front of her. Kath soon grab it and took a big sip of her black coffee. She smile when she put her mug down and wait for the caffeine to kick in. Sibylle then sat down and when back to her coffee while Ann finally notices that she can see the scars Sibylle has due to her accident. She grip her mug handle little tightly as she thought about it. She wish she had the confidence to not think about her marks she has and not be ashamed by them, but she can't. Everytime she looks at her own, it only brought back bad memories and what kind of person she was. As Ann was thinking, Sibylle saw Ann was deep in though and ask her " Hey Ann" This snap Ann out of her train of thought and Sibylle continued " Are you alright?" Ann loosen her hold on her mug and answer " Yeah, I'm okay" Sibylle notice Ann was distracted by something until she realized that Ann maybe felt uncomfortable with hers and possibly Kath scars. Sibylle normally doesn't show them, so people don't know she has some unless you know her personally while Kath has no issues as long you don't ask anything personal. Sibylle then ask Ann " Is there something that bothering you, Ann? You can tell us what it is and see what can do about it." Ann was confused when she heard this and didn't understand where this was coming from. Did she do something wrong to alert them? Was it when she space out when she was thinking too hard? Ann shook her head and said " There nothing wrong. I was just thinking about something, that's all." Sibylle wasn't buy it and knew something was wrong, but couldn't prove it. Kath then spit it out taking notice of Ann" Does it have to do ours scar? You can tell us and we can grab something to cover them." Ann was totally caught off guard what Kath had said while Sibylle sighed at Kath. She knew how grumpy Kath can get in the morning, so this is nothing new. At least she was going to get some answer. Ann collected himself and answer Kath " Yes, but it's not what you think. Let me explain" Ann looked at both Sibylle and Kath and said " As Siby told you before, I know a bit about her past, so I was kind of curious on how bad the accident was for her to change life. After seeing it in person, it made me see why and appreciate her more. As Siby knows already, I have respect for her on how she was able to overcome her obstacles and change to be a better person. Same goes for you, Kath. I wasn't told much about your past, but I'm not going bother you with that because I can already tell how far you came and how good of person you are." Ann smile a little when she was done and spoke the truth. Sibylle knew what Ann said was true thanks to their pervious talk while Kath didn't expect to hear this. She was surprised by Ann words and was touched when she said she wasn't bothered by their scars or their past history.

After their little chat, Sibylle ask Kath " Hey babe, how long does Ann dessert to be out to rest?" Kath answer now fully awake " About 20-30min" Sibylle nod and said " Okay Ann, I think it's good now to eat your tiramisu. Do want me to get it for you?" Ann shook her head, got up, and said " I can get it. You did enough already for me. Plus I got to pour myself more coffee." Ann grab her mug, head to the kitchen to the coffee maker, and begin pouring her coffee into her mug. As she was doing it, she heard Kath and Sibylle talking about what happen earlier at dinner. Kath blame herself for opening an old wound that Ann had and thinking she wasn't a good host while Sibylle is trying to tell her calmly that Ann doesn't blame her. Ann stop pouring, put the pot back in the machine, and look down at her mug. This feeling she had this whole time has become real and she knew what she need to do. She need to grab her things and get out of here. She can't keep on hurting them like this and didn't want the past repeating itself due to how terrible of person she was. She left everything there, stealthily walk away from the kitchen, which worked when she saw they haven't notice her gone, went to the room, grab her stuff, and quietly started to head to the front door. She felt bad for leaving like this, but it was for their own good. She was tired of people getting hurt and not being able to protect them because she was too weak or watching them get killed in front of her, which she knows isn't that common anymore, but can still happen. When she got to the door, she put her hand on the doorknob and try to convince herself one last time to stay, but the flashback of crying and screaming rang in her mind. She then decided this was the right choice, so she turn the knob and pull on the door, but a hand appeared behind her, which place itself on top of the door and push it back to closed. Ann froze when she saw this and she didn't know what to do. Sibylle then ask in a serious tone " Ann, what are you doing?" Ann started to shake a little when she heard this because she didn't expect to be caught and was worry what Sibylle is going to do to her. Before she had a chance to explain, Sibylle grab Ann by her wrist and dragged her back to the table where Kath was at without resisting. Once they were there, Sibylle told Ann to sit and she sat while Sibylle sat back in her seat across from her, place both her arms on the table, and ask her in a more serious tone " I'm going ask you again Ann, what are you doing? Do you know what time it is? Do you want us to worry about you? What were you thinking?" Ann keep her head down and her hands were shaking a bit on her lap as she heard all of Sibylle's questions. She didn't know how to answer her because all she was thinking about is how much trouble she cause and wishing she didn't accept Sibylle invite to come here. Kath got up from her seat, walk to where Ann, saw her hands were shaking, and ask her " Ann, you're not in trouble. We just want to know why you were trying to leave all of a sudden. Did something happen? What's going on?" Ann stay quiet as she heard Kath and didn't want them to know. Kath look sad and said " Does it have to do with what happen earlier at dinner? Did I hurt you so bad that I cause you want to leave here? Don't you want us to be your friend?"

This is when Ann started to tear up and her whole body began to shake a little once she heard Kath. Something inside Ann begin cracking and she couldn't hold her feeling much longer. Kath and Sibylle saw this and didn't know what was going on until Ann finally answer " I do" She look up at both at them with tears in her eyes and continue " I really do want to be your guys friend, but due to past experiences, I'm afraid that I would only cause you guys nothing but trouble and eventually hurt you guys." Both them looked at each other as they heard Ann and she explained " I heard you guys talking when I was in the kitchen and Kath starting blaming herself for what happen. I knew right there that it was happening again and couldn't handle pain I was causing. That when I decided that I need to leave here and spare you guys from that faith." Ann tighten her hands as she continue shaking and said " I been so nervous this whole time and worry that I would overthink everything and mess things up, since this is my first time spending the night at someone house. That why I been trying so hard not to ask for anything and been a little quiet." They both heard this and felt a little bad pressuring her like this. Sibylle though Ann was just being subborn this whole time, but taking in everything she learned so far, most of Ann's actions did make sense to someone who hasn't been exposed to certain things. Kath gave Ann a hug and told her " It's okay. We understand to be afraid of something. We all have our fears." Ann smiled a little, calm down a bit, and wasn't shaking anymore. Sibylle did want to ask Ann something that been bugging her. Sibylle didn't know if this was a good time to ask this, but knew this may be her only chance, so she looked at Ann and ask her " Ann, does these past experiences have to do with our terms we made?" Ann froze when heard this and knew this day would come. She knew someone was going to ask her why she didn't want anyone know she was back. Ann looked down and answer " Yes" Sibylle suspicion was right and asked " Do you want to talk about it? I know it isn't right for us to ask you for this, but I think it's a good idea to do so. I think telling us would make your mind at ease and help you in a way." Kath let go of Ann and walk to Sibylle as she stand next to her. She was kind of confused on what was going, but she sure she will understand soon. Ann took time to think about this and wondering if this was a good idea to do. She hasn't talk to anyone how she felt in a long time and only onse who knows was Will and Jane. It was time to do that. Ann gather all of the confidence she had, look at them, and said " Maybe it's time to tell my story..."

...what should I say? That I was a squealing and bouncing little fangirl at today's morning at 7 a.m. in my bed! Yes, I read your fic before breakfast and it wasn't good to do that.

Three Tacoma Police Officers Charged in Maneul Ellis' Murder

Just before midnight last March, Manuel Ellis set out on his usual jaunt to pick up a late-night snack at his local 7-Eleven in Tacoma, Wash. But his stroll home was abruptly interrupted when police officers sprung out of their patrol car, wrestled Ellis to the ground, restrained his neck and legs, handcuffed him and Tasered him.

“Can’t breathe, sir,” Ellis, a 33-year-old Black man, pleaded in an incident caught on video.

Minutes later, he was dead.

Ellis’s death sparked protests over police brutality against people of color, inspiring Tacoma’s mayor to condemn the officers and Washington Gov. Jay Inslee (D) to order an independent investigation.

On Thursday, Attorney General Bob Ferguson announced charges against the three Tacoma police officers involved in Ellis’s death. Christopher Burbank, 35, and Matthew Collins, 38, face second-degree murder charges, while Timothy Rankine, 32, faces a charge of first-degree manslaughter.

A YouTuber has found himself in hot water after filming himself tying his pet Pomeranian dog to a bunch of helium balloons and letting it float away, as part of a viral stunt.

Gaurav Sharma, who goes by the name of Gauravzone online, uploaded the clip of pet Dollar to his four million YouTube subscribers, however he was quickly inundated with complaints from animal rights groups.

The clip shows the 32-year-old and another woman making several attempts to make Dollar float, before they eventually climb onto the top of a car and release the animal, who ends up crashing into a nearby balcony as they laugh from the ground below.

Sibi oneechan I'm so sad )))': i had a dream I was married to Kakashi last night but he was mean, abusive, controlling and manipulative. And in my dream all my friends and family turned against me and were hurting me too. Tbh I woke up kind of scared of him and of relationships in general. I know you're busy but I could use something positive, esp about Kakashi ))): sorry

I’m so sorry that youhad such an alarming dream!  And for it tofeature being married to Kakashi to boot… that’s like pouring salt in thewound.  You got gypped!

So, to fix that, letme tell you what being married to Kakashi is actually like.  We can wipe the slate, so to speak, and giveyou something good to (day)dream about. I hope this cheers you up (it’s over 5.3k so buckle up, kiddo)

To start, let’s talk about Kakashi and marriage ingeneral.  Kakashi is definitely the typeof guy who never thought he was going to get married.  When he was a kid he didn’t care about datingor romance at all.  Girls were dumb.  Boys were dumb.  Kids were dumb.  Everyone but Kakashi (and his papa) weredumb.   So he didn’t think about it.

Then he got his team (which reinforced the idea thateveryone was dumb, but Minato got added to the exception list) which was just abad experience for Kakashi.  His fatherkilled himself soon after, and then one by one his teammates died/were killed,all in very traumatic fashions.  Whichled to Kakashi isolating himself even more. Any thoughts Kakashi might have had about getting married (with Minatoand Kushina being married and her being pregnant, I feel like he might havegiven it a very brief, passing thought before dismissing it as trivial,especially if the adults around him we’re being adults and saying things like “that’s going to be you one day,” or “I can’t wait to see you when you fall inlove,” and other annoying things people older than you often say about thishypothetical ‘one day’ you) are completely gone at this point.

Then Kakashi goes through his ANBU phase, he gets Team 7, andthere’s just no time to think about dating or settling down.  Kakashi is still very reclusive before Team7, and it takes a bit after he does get his students for him to open up atall.  So Kakashi definitely isn’t lookingor thinking about love.  I can’t imagineKakashi dating at all in this period of time, not casually at least.  It would have to be in a very specificcircumstance.  Like, someone he alreadytrusts who has been in his life for a while, and then some situational things,and some movie magic.

To make things worse, whatever healing that happened afterbecoming a sensei was washed away with the whole Sasuke defection drama Ialmost wrote defecation, that would have been an entirely differentseries.  Kakashi has his feelings offailure compounded, his guilt is magnified, he feels like an even biggerfailure, and the rest of his students are gone, too.  So he regresses a bit.  That means there’s still not time to think about dating,except for maybe depressing thoughts when he sees people together, like“they’re so happy, no one would want to be with me like that, I’d just ruintheir life anyways.”

I do think that Kakashi begins to crave that sort ofintimacy after a while.  He might be abit envious of Asuma and Kurenai’s relationship, not because he’s in love witheither Asuma or Kurenai, but because they have each other, and Kakashi feelslike he has no one.  But again, his lifeis in shambles and Kakashi is not about to bring someone else into it, so nodating.  (I can also see him trying toconvince himself that he doesn’t want it either.  Like ‘oh, I don’t need that, it’s not for me’etc, but his love for Icha Icha tells me otherwise—boy wants connections, he’sjust too scared and stunted to make them of his own volition).

When the Fourth War is over, this is when Kakashi has timeto heal.  His precious people survived(the people he loooooves, it’s so nice to think that Kakashi has people heloves, he deserves it—we all do), and he has some sort of closure with his Obitoguilt.  He’ll have to work out his guiltfor “causing” the Fourth War in the first place (not that I think it’s hisfault, but Kakashi probably does), but he’s in a good place.  Konoha is in a good place, the ShinobiNations as a whole are in a good place, it’s just a good time for healing.  

I can see Kakashi entertaining the idea of dating at thispoint in his life, maybe after a few years. He might see his students and the other sensei’s kids starting to pairoff and date, and maybe Kakashi begins to think about settling downhimself.  Although, he’s gonna have tocatch feelings first before he makes a move.

It probably takes Kakashi a while to even realise that hehas a crush (“What is the strange feeling in my chest whenever they walkby?  Maybe I’m hungry.  When was the last time I ate?”) because Idon’t think he’s ever had one before. He’ll probably think of it as admiration at first, since he’ll confuseit with the way he felt for Minato and his dad somewhat (platonically people,jeeze).  Like, he wants to be around thisperson, he wants to impress them, he likes it when they pay attention to him,he gets nervous when they’re around, he somehow manages to make a fool ofhimself every time he hears their name, etc.  

Once he connects the dots, however (and it was 100% IchaIcha that clued him off, thanks Jiraiya, RIP), Kakashi has like, amini-breakdown.  He still doesn’t thinkthat he’s worthy, he still thinks no one would want to be with him, he stillthinks that he’s no good.  Gai probably findsout and has to convince Kakashi to take a chance.  It likely involves making it a Challenge™ ofsome sort.

Kakashi does what he always does; he strategizes.  Kakashi is a man of strategy, so he’s goingto make a plan on how to woo you.

Unfortunately for Kakashi, his experience with romance anddating at all is zilch.  Twice asunfortunately, with Asuma gone (RIP Asuma you went too soon), he only has Icha Icha as a guide.  Kakashi might also nab a book he has seen Saiwalking around with (Romance and Relationships: A Beginner’s Guide to Dating.  I do not recommend it).

So Kakashi makes his plan. It’s very well thought out, has multiple phases, and contingencies, andsoooo many layers you don’t even know.  Despitehow convoluted it is, it can be separated into two fairly simple phases—it’show he executes each phases where things get messy.  I’ll briefly explain it.

Phase 1 is figure out if you like him.  This involves like, Elle Woods-esque (fromLegally Blonde) tips and tricks.  Like,bending over in front of you and seeing if you stare at his ass.  He probably starts talking to you more,trying to be super casual.  He suddenlybumps into you all the time.  Whereveryou go, Kakashi is somehow there too.  Ifyou try and talk to him though, he gets all aloof and distant, because hedoesn’t want you to know that he likes you yet. It’s very confusing.  He justcomes across as Odd.

Eventually he clues in that you like him (although someoneelse probably figures it out and tells him). So he moves on to Phase 2: Ask You Out.

Kakashi asking people out is always hilarious whenever Iimagine it.  I can see it happening intwo (equally hilarious) ways.  Although the first is the most likely, I have to add the second.  You’ll see why soon lol.

In the first, he is so laid back and aloof that he probablystrikes out multiple times because you just don’t understand that he’s askingyou something at all, let alone asking you one a date.  Like, I’m pretty sure the first few attempts,you think he’s talking to someone else and just walk on by like nothinghappened.  Like, he’ll say vague thingssuch as, “It’s a nice day for a walk,” or “Yakiniku Q has the best BBQ” or “I’llbe at Ichiraku later.”  And you’re justlike “???” or “That’s nice,” or just keep on walking because you didn’t evennotice he was there.  Boy is too stealthy sometimes; it’s really notworking out for him.

So he realises that he needs to be more direct.  Kakashi, however, gets stuck in the ‘oh Ithought you were asking as a friend’ type thing.  He might think you two are on a date, untilyou ask something like ‘where’s everyone else?’ and then he realises that hewas not direct enough.  He was probablysuper late, too.  You may have even left,thinking you were in the wrong spot (or you were just tired of waiting, let’sbe honest).  

So he’ll ask again, this time saying that he’s picking youup from your house, since that’s a date-thing to do, and also that way youdon’t leave when he’s late.  Because heis still late, although it’s because he’s nervous and trying to figure out howto not mess things up, not so much that he didn’t want to come.

The second way I can see him asking someone out is by farthe more hilarious.  Rae and I havetalked about this before with one of her KakaHana one-shots and it’s like, themost Kakashi thing ever.  He getsflowers, and writes a poem about his feelings for you (it’s a very cheesy poembut it’s super sweet). He knocks on your door and when you answer, gets on oneknee outside of your house. He’s sweating and shaking and he tries to recitethe poem but he’s stuttering through it, redder even than that one time theyasked him to read Icha Icha out loud, if that’s even possible.  It is a huge, cheesy, romantic gesture,probably straight out of Icha Icha.  It’severy romance novel cliché, it’s painful to watch (let alone being Kakashi) sotake pity on him, accept the flowers, pry the poem out of his shaking hands,and say “yes,” already.  

Invite him in for tea. Do not tell him how sweet he is, unless you want him to faint.  If anyone other than you witnessed him askingyou out, he would probably die of embarrassment.  Never bring it up again.  I think the only way he’d do this, though, isif he already had strong feelings for you. Like they were closer to love than just a crush, and you were friends for a while.  He thinks the grand romantic gesture is what he needs in order to show you that he wants to switch your relationship from friendship to romance.

For Kakashi to ask anyone out at all, I do think it’sbecause he’s hoping it will lead to something more, eventually.  He’s not a casual dater.  That’s not to say that he’s trying to settledown quickly, or that he’s just going to stay with the first person he asks outno matter what, but he is definitely looking for something serious.

Even then, it takes Kakashi a while to propose.  No matter how quickly he falls for you, he’sstill got his issues and his insecurities. He feels somehow like he’s cheated you, tricked you into being with him,or somehow stolen you.  He definitelydoes not think that he is worthy, and no matter how much you love him, thiswill be hard to change.  It’s somethinghe needs to get over himself.  Anytimeyou tell him you love him, he feels an overwhelming warmth in his chest, aswell as shame, and fear, and guilt, and a whole host of other things.  I don’t know that Kakashi will ever be ableto get over it.

I think the best thing you could do to reassure Kakashi isto show him that you’re happy.  He willdefinitely be trying very hard to make you happy, to make up for his ownfeelings of inadequacy.  This, out ofeverything, makes him feel better.  He stillcan’t imagine why you would like him, let alone love him, but as long as you’rehappy, he feels like he’s doing something right.  He feels like it’s okay for him to be withyou, because you are content, and that’s really what he wants for you.

After a few years of being happy together (and you’veprobably moved in together at this point), Kakashi will start to believe that it’sokay for him to have you.  He had wantedyou and loved you and tried his best to deserve you. Maybe he still feels likehe doesn’t deserve you and all the happiness you bring him, but he can tellthat you’re not going anywhere; he “let you” get too attached, and—if you’vehinted to it at all—he’ll be thinking about marriage.  

He’s probably wanted to marry you for a while now, but hedidn’t want to trap you in anything.  Butyou haven’t gone anywhere, and aren’t planning on going anywhere, so Kakashi wantsto do right by you (that’s what he says to himself, because he is a selflessman.  But deep down, he desperately wants to tie youto him, he wants to casually call you his spouse, he wants to call you his—he’salready yours, all of him is yours, he is devoted and loyal and completely atyour whim, though he doesn’t have the words to say it.  He thinks this might just show you howprecious you are to him).

So Kakashi proposes. He also has a very convoluted, intricate plan for this.  I’m not going to outline a proposal, becauseI really think that the ideal proposal is different from person to person.  Kakashi would know you so well at this point(maybe a little too well, he’s observant and a master at looking underneath theunderneath) and so he’d craft it to be exactly what you’d like.  Whether it’s casually going for dinner andthen a walk, where he takes you somewhere private and gets on one knee (hestutters and blushes through telling you how much you mean to him) or somethingcompletely cheesy and romantic (he also stutters and blushes through the wholething) or whatever.  Kakashi will go outof his comfort zone for you, because at the end of the day he really just wantsto make you happy (which can be dangerous for him, because he doesn’t thinkabout his own happiness—really, he’s just happy if you are.  So try and do things to make him happy too,no one-sided relationships here).

It takes him like a month to plan and organize things to hisstandards (if he’s Hokage now, it’ll take him even longer).  I can’t decide if he actually manages tocarry out the plan, if he gets too nervous and fudges it up on the day, or ifhe just cracks and randomly asks you out of the blue because he just loves youso much and he can’t wait, or the nerves got the best of him and he can’t take it anymore.  If it’s thelatter he’ll try to back-peddle and recover but honestly just kiss him (even ifit’s over the mask) and say ‘yes,’ to put the poor man out of his misery.

So you’re engaged (wasn’t this supposed to be about marriagewhere did I go wrong?) and Kakashi is temporarily relieved.  The wedding, however, makes him soooonervous.  Not because he has any doubtabout marrying you, but if you want a big ceremony (not happening if he’s not Hokage, btw, because Jounin Kakashi doesn’t have command over ANBU and can’t get you any bodyguards), or even one in front ofjust your close family and friends, he’s sooo worried about it.  He wants everything to be perfect for you, hedoesn’t know what that means but Icha Icha said that weddings were the happiestday of the couple’s life and Kakashi feels like if he fails at this, then he’sgoing to ruin your relationship for all time. Yes, he totally is overreacting. I hc that Kakashi can’t really deal with emotions well, and this is agood example of that.

Kakashi will go along with whatever you want.  But this is where you really need to step inand think about what he wants, too, because he will not.  So don’t plan anything that will make himuncomfortable.  Although, if he’s Hokagehe’s probably going to have to have a huge wedding, with the village involvedand everything.  Hooooboy.  This… this is a lot to take in.

Absolutely do not suggest that he not wear his mask.  He honestly might take it off for you, as ashow of dedication and his love, but he will feel so out of place (and plusthen all people will talk about when referencing your marriage is his face andthat will just make him more uncomfortable). So, mask on (sorry Future).  

While Kakashi is great at planning things in the tacticalsense, this skill does not apply to wedding planning.  He’ll make time to go with you places, liketo look at venues, or to taste food and stuff, but things like colours andflowers and whatever, he doesn’t care. So that’s going to fall to you. Sorry.  Get your friends to help.

Engaged life is probably pretty similar to dating life withKakashi, considering you’ve already moved in with him and see each other everyday.  

The length of time you’re engagedis determined by how complex your wedding ceremony is.  Kakashi is ready to go elope the second heproposes (ok so he was ready before he proposed but he has to ask you first, hecan’t just swoop in and take you to an officiant, he has some tact).  You’re probablystressed because so much of the planning falls on your shoulders, but Kakashigives really nice massages and he’ll totally make it up to you in other ways,wink wink.

On the day you get married, Kakashi is super worried thatsomething is going to go wrong.  Hethinks you’re going to change your mind and leave him at the altar.  He is probably a sweating mess.  He acts really indifferent on the outsidethough, or tries his best.  No one willever realise just how nervous he actually was, although those close to him cantell that he’s not as unaffected as he usually looks.

The moment he sees you, however, his heart stops.  You look stunning, no matter what you’rewearing.  He is simply in awe.  It’s finally happening.  You’re here. You haven’t changed your mind.

I’m going to skip the ceremony and reception stuff, becausehonestly you planned it, not me, so you go ahead and take a minute to imageyour wedding.   I will say, however, thatonce the ceremony is over, Kakashi is soooo relieved.  Everything worked out, no one tried to opposeyour ceremony (he’s read too much Icha Icha ok he was half convinced some pastlover of yours was going to crash the wedding and take you away from him).

Kakashi is more relaxed during the reception (if you have one) andhe’s never far from your side.  Hedoesn’t like the attention on him, but he likes that you’re his spouse now, andhe doesn’t want to let you out of his sight. He probably plans to whisk you away somewhere asap, though, leaving shadowclones as decoys (unless you really want to stay.  Then he’ll stay.  But take pity on the man at the very leastand keep the attention on you and not him. Although honestly he’d probably manage to make your guests uncomfortablesomehow).  

Gai definitely makes at least one Youthful speech at somepoint.  The more he drinks the morespeeches he makes, to be completely honest. There are lots of tears and YOUTH and you should probably leave before hecovers you and Kakashi with snot from all the happy tears he’s crying.  Direct him towards Lee; they’ll hug it out.

Kakashi’s favourite part of the reception is getting to slowdance with you.  Even though everyone iswatching, he enjoys having you so close. He’s been stressed out all day and having you in his arms, inhaling yourscent, hearing you whisper that you love him, it just helps him decompress.  Honestly, you should really cuddle him a bitbefore the reception, in private.  Showup late.  It’s cool, no one expects youto be on time anyways.

THE WEDDING NIGHT.

All I’m going to say is, wear some nice lingerie underneathyour outfit.  If you’re brave enough (orhave no filter, like myself) whisper all the things you’re going to do tohim/want him to do to you.  He’ll go sored, but it’ll turn him on sooo much. Just go for it.  Even if you’reblushing yourself, it’s totally worth it. Be brave, lil birdy, I believe in you.

You’re both probably tired from the day you had, so maybeyou just help each other undress and then fall into bed together (poor, unusedlingerie.  Kakashi will ask you to wearit tomorrow night).  Kakashi can’t sleepthough, he’s had too stressful of a day. Instead he holds you closer and thinks about how lucky he is… and thenreads Icha Icha.  Come on, the man isn’tfrom a romance novel he’s not going to stare at you adoringly all night.  He will probably turn his head into yourhair, occasionally nuzzling or pressing soft kisses wherever he can reach.

If you wake up and want to have some fun, he’s definitelynot going to turn you down, either.  Hehonestly might need the release just to loosen up and actually fall asleep.  Get Kakashi off.  Just do it. It’ll be fun I promise.

So you’re married now. This was my point. I’m finally at the point.  Wait, honeymoon.  Ok ok real quick.  No, fuck it. You make this part up.  I’m sureit’s lovely.  Kakashi goes where youwant.  Do something romantic for him (hewill blush so hard if you romance him it’s so worth it he’s adorable just doit).  Hopefully he has some time off fromhis Hokage duties.  Spend lots of timealone, just the two of you.  That’swhat’s important—being together.

Ok so now I’m atmy point.  Married life.

Kakashi is so much more relaxed now that you’remarried.  He’s not worried about youleaving him, because while you might divorcehim, he’s confident that you wouldn’t have married him if you were planning onbeing with anyone else.  Your marriage issomething concrete; it’s tangible in a way, in that it’s on paper and everyoneknows about it.  While he probablyworries about it being such public knowledge, if he’s Hokage he can’t avoidit.  And if not, well, he would haverequired a more private wedding, limited to just your family and close friendsthat you both would trust with your lives. Kakashi does not compromise on your safety.  You’re going to just have to deal with it.

He loves waking up next to you.  If he wakes up first, he’ll turn into you andhold you closer, letting himself drift on the edges of sleep.  Or he’ll grab Icha Icha from his nightstandand read a bit.  He’s perfectly contentjust lying in bed for a while.  If hereally has to leave, he’ll do his best not to wake you when he gets up (itprobably involves a replacement jutsu with a body pillow).  Then he’ll use all his ninja skills to getready and go.  He might cook you somebreakfast, and leave it in the stove to stay warm.  You’ll probably find a silly note signed witha henohenomoheji on your hairbrush or something—whatever you go for first whenyou wake up.

If you wake up first, your movement will wake him up.  Always. He’ll pull you closer and whisper “just five more minutes,” and how canyou say no to sleepy Kakashi?  You can’t,only a monster would have that power.  Sosettle back down, cuddle a bit, and maybe start kissing a little, and let yourhands wander, and if one thing leads to the next, well… I’m sure you’ll have anice morning.  You’re going to be latethough.  I hope you didn’t have anywhereimportant to be.

Although Kakashi seems like the type of guy who wouldn’t putstock in important dates, I think he himself really likes celebrating youranniversary.  It’s a celebration thatyou’re together, that you love him, that he makes you happy… it’s just good forhim.  That doesn’t necessarily mean hemakes a big deal out of it, but he definitely remembers.  He’ll get you something meaningful, that he’sput too much thought into but he’ll pass off as “oh, I just picked somethingup.”  

Kakashi will want to do something special but also lowkey.  Maybe he’ll pull out the sake or the wine (ifyou don’t usually drink it) or maybe he’ll go for champagne (if you likeit).  He will have mysteriously just “found it” somewhere.  A nice old ladygave it to him as a thank you for carrying her groceries.  He caught some kids in an alleyway andhe—being responsible—had to confiscate it. He had to help a cat out of a tree and he found it in a bird’s nest(they use stranger and stranger things to build their nests.  Why, only the other day he found a perfectlywrapped and beautifully arranged bouquet of flowers in one.  What odd birds.  That’s definitely it).

If you’re staying in, he offers to cook.  Insist on doing it together.  Even if you’re not a great cook, just chopwhat needs chopping, or hand him things. Crowd him in the kitchen.  Helikes how casually your skin brushes against his.  How you slip by him, how your hands brush… hejust likes that casual intimacy that means you’re close to someone.  That sort of calm, domestic stuff gets to him.  It makes him feel like he’s alive instead ofjust existing.  Even just hugging himfrom behind while he works over the stove—clinging tight enough to hold on butnot so tight that he can’t move around—is enjoyable to him.  Bury your nose in his back or his neck or hisshoulder or whatever idk how tall you are but just nuzzle the boy he’ll enjoyit.

Idk how close you are with your family, but if they’re agood bunch, I think he’d like family get-togethers, while simultaneously hatingthem.  Since he lost his family, I thinkit’s a sort of novelty to him; like, he thinks it’s nice that you have peoplewho love you, he thinks it’s interesting to watch how you all interact,etc.  But he’s super anti-social, andthese things make him sooo uncomfortable (especially if you have one of those well-meaningbut nosey and pushy families).  He’ll tryto hide in corners, and people will be like ‘Where’d Kakashi go?’ and he’slike, disguised himself with a genjutsu or something so no one can see him.  He won’t leave without telling you, but hewill probably leave early.  Whether you leavewith him or not is your choice, he doesn’t mind if you want to stay, he justcan’t be there for too long.

Don’t host people at your place though.  Unless it’s like a once a year thing becauseyou have to.  Even then, Kakashi isleaving early.  He’ll help you clean uponce everyone is gone, though, and help you prepare before everyone getsthere.  He’ll have a better time if peoplehe’s close to are there, so he doesn’t have to make small talk with people he’snot comfortable with.  He still leavesearly.  There’s no stopping him.  Don’t try to. Don’t get mad.  It’s just how itis.

Kakashi probably really likes calling you wife/spouse/husbandin private.  He’ll use it instead of yourname.  Call him ‘husband’ or ‘anata’ andyou’ll get his heart jumping.  Tell himhe’s yours and watch him blush.

If he’s Hokage, he’ll probably be busy (even if he playshookie often).  Surprise him for lunchand you’ll make his day.  Honestly, he’dstay in the office if he knew you were stopping by, so do Shizune a favour andmake your way over so she doesn’t have to chase him around.  He might leave after you go, however.  There’s no helping it.

Although I do think he’d be a very hard working Hokage,honestly.  He might not be happy aboutthe position, as it was never his dream, but Kakashi cares for the village socompletely and with such an intensity that I can’t see him avoiding it whenthere are things that need to be done. He tries his best.  Make sure hecomes home at a reasonable time.

I actually wholeheartedly disagree with the idea thatKakashi is lazy.  I think he does areally good job of appearinglazy.  He doesn’t want people in hisbusiness, he doesn’t share much about himself, and he has no desire to go outof his way to prove his merits to anyone (he’s not a man who wants his meritsto be acknowledged at all, let along prove them).  Kakashi is humble and shy so shy omg.  He’s not a slacker, though—he would not bethe ninja he is if he were lazy.

So he’s not going to leave things for you to do, he’s notgoing to just sit around and watch while you clean up after him, or neglectyou, or whatever.  Kakashi puts effortinto everything that’s important to him (and no, training Team 7 wasn’timportant to him when he first got them, but he did put in that effort whentraining Sasuke, because it was important to train him at the time—baddecisions aside.  That’s a different canof worms, however).

Kakashi has definitely been touch-starved.  When you start dating, he might find itawkward or uncomfortable when you touch him intimately.  And I don’t mean sex, I mean gentletouches.  Holding hands, leaning yourhead on his shoulder, etc.  Respect hisboundaries and don’t push him.  By thetime you’re married, he’ll be reaching for you without thought.  He’ll never be big on PDA though, so don’texpect him to be the guy pulling you into his lap in public.  He will do that in private, though.  Like a Venus flytrap lol.  Get too close and suddenly you’re in hisgrasp.  It’s cute.  Cuddle for a bit, even if you have things todo.  They can wait.

I should have said this earlier, but you’re definitely goingto be late for things, from now on—like, shortly after you move in together.  I can’t see you being on time.  Ever. Sorry.  Whether you’re going withKakashi or going by yourself, he’s somehow managing to delay you.  You might be on time if he’s out of thevillage and he’s not around to distract you. Although he’s probably engrained himself so deeply into you at thispoint that you forget to set your alarm, or you don’t realise the time, orwhatever.  RIP time managementskills.  It was nice knowing you. Sayonara.  

My point though, at the end of it all, is that Kakashi isvery appreciative to have you in his life. He thinks of you as one of the best things that has ever happened tohim.  That you chose to be with him, thatyou choose to stay with him, means the world to him.  He had never imagined that his life wouldturn around from the tragedy it was to something that makes him so happy.  So of course he would never mistreat you.  

Kakashi cherishes every second you choose to spend withhim.  He will probably never feel like hedeserves you, which is a tragedy in and of itself.  But because he knows what it means to loseeverything, he values you even more. Kakashi is kind and loyal and he tries his best.  That’s all we can ask of ourselves and eachother at the end of the day.  And Kakashiwill be his best for you

Scully knows Mulder means well when he offers to stay the night but it pisses her off. She’s not a damsel in distress. Yes, she’d been kidnapped—for the second time—but she can take care of herself. Men like Donnie Pfaster are the reason she joined the FBI and she knows how to deal with them.

She’s still scared of them though and part of her wishes Mulder hadn’t listen to her. Maybe she’d actually sleep if he were here. His breathing is rather somniferous.

But Mulder’s not here and Scully is left to nurse the old wound Pfaster ripped open alone.

Pfaster brings back memories of Daniel Waterston, the married man who took advantage of her naive young self. Daniel may not have been a murder but he did take her innocence. He fucked her until she bled then left her on his wife’s bed in a sniveling heep. And she loved him for it.

It’s not fair to lump Mulder in the same group as these men but her brain does it subconsciously. He’s tall and threatening with an impulsive streak—a recipe for disaster. She knows she’ll never be the focus of his agressions but she still sees him snap. She watches him punch walls and throw things when he’s frustrated.

Scully tries to smoke away her thoughts. She takes out the pack of Virginia Slims she keeps hidden in the back of her underwear drawer and lights up with Ahab’s old Zippo. It may lead her to an early grave but Nicotine is her drug of choice. Nothing soothes her anxiety like the sweet perfume of a cigarette.

Death stick between her lips and pumps still strapped to her feet, she lies on her bed and takes a long drag. Her lungs fill with smoke. This moment of weakness steals eleven minutes of her life.

Her bedroom grows hazy and no matter how many showers she takes, she’ll still smell like smoke tomorrow. Mulder will be disappointed regardless so she lights a second cigarette. Then a third. Her life is shortened by a half hour.

Ahab’s oath, Non sibi sed patriae is engraved on the lighter. Scully runs a finger over the letters, thinking of her two paradoxal oaths. To do no harm and to support and defend the Constitution of the United States from all enemies, foreign and domestic.

Do men like Pfaster have oaths? Can a killer have a code of honor or are they too primitive to understand such things? Mulder would know. He has a talent for crawling into their minds.

She’s tempted to call him, to beg him to come over at the ungodly hour of three thirty-two in the morning. And without question, he would.

She doesn’t know what they are. Do two hand jobs constitute as a relationship? She’s worried it does. She doesn’t want Mulder to be her next Daniel. He deserves a passionate lover, one that does more than lie there mutely. One that doesn’t need pain to orgasm.

So the phone stays in its cradle and a fourth cigarette comes out of the box. Scully’s about to light it when, like kismet, the phone rings.

The answering machine picks up. “Hey, Scully, it’s me. I know you didn’t want to see me tonight but it’s technically morning now. I’m outside with doughnuts from that bakery on M street you like. I’ll wait five minutes and if you don’t answer, I’ll leave the doughnuts on your doormat. No hard feelings.”

“Fuck you, Mulder,” she growls but gets up anyway. She even has the decency to crack a window and brush her teeth before opening the door.“

“Four and a half minutes, you sure know how to keep the love of your life waiting.

Scully glares at him and he holds up the bag meekly. “I got you devil’s food.”

“Fine.”

If Mulder noticed she smells like cigarettes, he doesn’t say anything. He just walks to her kitchen table and takes out two doughnuts. Devil’s food for her and Boston cream for him.

The rich, fatty dough melts in Scully’s mouth and she suppresses a groan. Junk food is another one of her vices.

Mulder grins at her. “Taste good?” He asks.

“I’ve had better,” she says like she’s not shoving half the doughnut in her mouth. She swallows with some difficulty.

“So, what’s your ultimatum? Or do you make a habit of buying doughnuts at three in the morning?”

“No ultimatum. Just couldn’t sleep.”

Anger boils in the pit of Scully’s stomach. “I can take care of myself, Mulder.”

“I know but I still worry.;

“Because I’m a woman? Because some mad man might break into my house and rape me? I’m sorry Mulder but that happens every day to woman around the world and you can’t fucking change that.”

Mulder’s jaw tightens. “I know that, Scully. My own sister was taken from me but this has nothing to do with you being a woman.”

“Then what, Mulder?”

“I’m not that close to my parent so you’re the only family I really have left, Scully.”

She stares at him, trying to see any telltale hints of a lie. Daniel used pretty words too but Mulder seemed earnest, as much as anyone can seem with Boston cream on his lip.“

Scully wipes his lip with a napkin. "You can sleep on the couch but if you come anywhere near my bedroom, I will shoot you.”

“Sexy gun play, I like it G Woman.”

“I mean it, Mulder.”

“I mean it too,” he says and doesn’t have to say what.

Regarding the Himi-AU Dauphin is based of...

I think @nokissforthedauphin thinks I flashed out that AU-Version of Himi very much and have planned a lot of in between details…. But it was never meant for anything more then a few One-Shots were things could be more to my liking XD So in my eyes, she very well should have the freedom to do whatever she wants with her version of it in “No Kiss for the Dauphin”, especially since in my AU Nocturn and Youma actually lived in Paris and there was no Messenger-Stuff and all that. So its not exactly like even if I had planned that story a bit deeper that everything would still fit. However… I am going to answer her questions her as good as I can… 1. Were the AU starts: Yes it started when Gary fought Green and gave her that mark. Silver refused to delete her memories and Blue was forced to face the consequences of what he did… both the good and the bad. Including that leaving Green was not an option anymore after she knew “Garys” true feelings.

 2. Did the war still start regardless of that? Yes. Demons want to get rid of the Wächters, surely more than enough Wächter wan’t to get rid of the demons…. So they somehow found a way to start the war.

 3. What about Youma and Nocturn? Let me be painfully frank here. I didn’t give them that much thought. Obviously, as they were living together in Paris, Youma did bring Nocturn back to life and they started to work and live together and I don’t think many things happened very differently than in DeA regarding them, aside from the fact that their relationship progressed a lot more quicker. If anything, I’d say Youma was never really sure what exactly he wanted (regarding becoming prince of the underworld and so on) in my AU and that is why they had enough freetime to stroll around Paris and go sledging and thus had a faster development for their relationship. Anything else is basically up to you. If anything, I would definitely say they had an intimate relationship before the decision was made to go to the temple, simply because I think there is an immensely strong bond and amount of trust (and with the way Nocturn is and thinks and feels I think a damn awful lot of trust is needed for any more intimate contact) necessary for someone like Nocturn to give up basically anything he loves “just” to be with Youma. To make such a decision, there can be no doubt whatsoever that this might be the wrong decision in the end and if Nocturn was willing to… uh… be as vulnerable as he would be in such an intimate moment and Youma treated him right (which I very much assume he did) than I think that would be prove enough that there is enough love and trust to go with him, no matter the sacrifices. However I would not think they had much sex in the meantime. But that is just my thoughts.

1.a) When and why did Green and Saiyon get engaged?

We all know what happened. Shaginai and all the other Hikari were so not having it when Green was finally reunited with her demon boyfriend and demon (well HALFdemon, but which Hikari would care about that detail?) best friend. Actually, they didn’t want the demons with them at all, no matter what relationship they have towards Green. Now what to do? (AFTER Green was throwing a tantrum because she gives a damn about what the Hikari want. She wants Sibi and Gary to live with her. Right now! XD) So... we make a deal. Green can keep her “pets” if she so pleases, but ONLY if she agrees to get married to a suitable Wächter and makes little Hikaris with him. Green would of course say “Hell no!” BUT what does her halfdemon boyfriend say? Well he is a rational man, as we all know. Too rational for his own good. And he also has a very big eye on what is good and right and important for Green. Prioritizing that, makes it easy to see whats the right thing to do. Green needs an official partner that makes her look “good” and “right” and “normal” as an Hikari. She is already an underdog and not very well accepted among her kind and that is not a good thing. It might even put Greens life at danger in one way or another. So Gary has been pushing it. (He agrees with Shaginai far to often btw. Shaginai hates it XD) Of course Green was not having it, Sibi was against it, Grey too but even if Green didn’t like it at the end of the day, if she didn’t agree to that, she would lose Sibi and Gary again. And propably for good this time. And as Gary, as rational as he is (even tho Green knows he secretly burns with jealousy) supports this and Sibi is trying to make light of it by saying: “How romantic it might be to have a secret relationship and sneak away together at night...” and so one and as Green eventually sees she can not win this battle if she does not agree to this, she is left with no choice. When there is talk about Green searching for someone (and struggeling with it), Saiyon does volunteer. And even tho it sucks, everyone knows he is the best option, as he really cares about Green and really likes her and only wants her best. And also.... when she tells him that she will not ever stop loving Gary or wanting to be with him, he says he is fine with it - he hesitated a bit, but he says it anyway. Then they made it official and there was no getting out of that. That should of course have happened before the whole “messenger thing” became a thing, because otherwise that could have been Greens bargening-ship ^^’

2.b) What happened to Grey?

So Nocturn still tried to kill Grey, because even tho circumstances are different, he still finds Greens and Garys forbidden love quite interesting and he wanted to add some drama to it by, yes, still making it look like it was Gary who killed Grey. However this time it didn’t work out... because Green and Sibi walked in before it was too late and managed to turn things around, because they were searching for Gary who in fact wanted to talk to Grey about something related to Green. It was a regular Monday for me at work and as the head of the Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO) business of ManpowerGroup Services India Private Limited, I was hoping to see lot of unread mails that would have stacked up on my mailbox over the weekend and a big to do list prepared before the close of the week, big enough to make my week productive. After defeating my Monday blues and following my routine, I began to read all the emails at 5:30 a.m.. A global manufacturer of glass and materials for technology applications, planned to set up a state of-the-art manufacturing facility to produce optical fibre cable in India. As the global market leader in optical fibre production, as well as the inventor of the first commercially viable fibre, the client had all the necessary technological knowhow to establish a new facility but he was new to our country. Considering the potential this nation has, we could not be ignored. The client would have possibly sent a Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO) request to many players but I wanted to be the first to respond while corporate India is just waking up to another hustly bustly week. I seized the opportunity. Now here was a challenge as well as an opportunity for Experis RPO, a ManpowerGroupServices India Private limited company.

The challenge: The challenge was that the ManpowerGroup’s existing operations in India lacked the bandwidth to carry out high volume recruitment in a short period of time.The first year needs were projected at 275 placements, including 77 manager-level positions and 198 skilled labor. To meet its launch goals, they needed a recruitment company  with a demonstrated track record in India that could provide an end-to-end Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO) solution focused equally on managers/officers and direct labor. I was refreshed as soon as read through this entire email. I knew me & my team were equipped to take up the challenge and to demonstrate our expertise and the journey thus began.

I sent them an email depicting ManpowerGroup Services India Private limited’s expertise in handling Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO). Got ready, reached office (after my morning chores, ofcourse), had a call with my team and prepared them for what was to come. We immediately came up with a customized strategy document with a commercial proposal for the client that he could not refuse. It was accepted as it had elements beyond recruitment which I was confident he needed but didn’t specify. The client knew that we were capable to deliver what they expected through our various rounds of interactions backed by client testimonials and case studies of our innovative customizations.

Experis India developed an end-to-end (Recruitment Process Outsourcing) RPO program that included dedicated talent acquisition teams for both the management (known as indirect labor, or IDL) and direct labor (DL) positions. Given the nature of the management roles and the need to recruit beyond the location of the manufacturing facility, ManpowerGroup’s IDL team is based at Gurgaon and near the client’s country headquarters near New Delhi. This was managed by a delivery lead and a team of recruiters from ManpowerGroup Solutions.

To ensure subject matter expertise and seamless alignment with the client’s systems, all team members received a three-day intensive training on the applicant tracking system and project management software, as well as training on the fibre business, manufacturing processes and the traits common to successful candidates in the fibre industry. Out of interest, I attended one session and got to learn a lot of interesting stuff.

Following closed knit collaboration with the client to build recruiting strategies and analyse hiring needs, we executed a three-pronged strategy to source quality candidates:1) Mining the proprietary database,2) Print advertisements based on an “Employee Value Proposition” brand and3)  On campus program to identify fresh candidates.

Once candidates were sourced, a full-service model included all aspects of recruiting, from screening and pre-interview coordination to conducting interviews and post offer on-boarding.

While the delivery of the project I was confident that my team has given their 100% to the project and we will have satisfied and a loyal business partner at the end of the project. Well that’s what happened. The result and outcome of the project astonished everyone, while that was the expectation I had set with my team.

So what was the result? Exeris India, a Manpowergroup India Private Limited company had successfully filled 277 positions, including 88 IDL roles and 189 IDL roles, resulting in a fully-staffed manufacturing plant. Streamlined recruitment processes enabled a time-to-fill average of 52 days for DL and 82 Days for IDL – both considerably lower than the 90-day target. Moreover, we achieved a candidate-to-hire ratio that was 42% better than the target. Whats more? The end-to-end recruitment program significantly reduced DL recruitment cost, plus contained third-party agency costs at 17% of the budget, against a planned 33% of the budget. Costs savings demonstrated during the program amounted to US $75,000. i.e around 52 lacs Indian Rupees. After the project completion we had a small party and celebrated our success. Hi Sibi!!!! I had quite the busy week last week and the past few days and I wasn’t able to read the latest chapters until today, which on the positive side it’s good cause I love when I have more than one chapter to read! I read the three latest ones except for the new one from yesterday in one sitting, so I could catch up before reading the new one later today! just so you know I always eat your wonderful writing up like a starved kitten especially when I have more than one chapter waiting for me sjkskskskskdkdkksskksksks so buckle up because it’s probably gonna end up being a long one considering it’s about three chapters jdjdjdjsj so here goes my review…

Chapter 24:

First of all please I just need oc to be wrapped in the fluffiest and warmest blankets and cuddled in the arms of her very much in love boyfriends and friends cause this baby needs all the affection than she can possibly get right now 😭😭😭😭 I can’t even imagine how heavy the guilt she’s carrying is 😭 just please lots of hugs and love for our queen, she did the right thing, it breaks me that she thinks Yoongi is disappointed of her because HE WOULD NEVER, and I mean NEVER be disappointed of her for saving their family 🥺

My dear Yoongi Boongie making her the pumpkin gnocchi that they had on their date and feeding it to her it’s just so AAAAAAHHHHHHH it melted my heart Sibi, he’s so sweet and loving and caring god I love him so much 😭😭😭😭 and then sweet Tae coming to comfort her too 🥺 I just love that she has so many people that she can lean on and are so ready to comfort her when she needs it 🥺

And then the part when Yoongi pushed Tae off of her neck? Jsjsjsjskskjsksskks Sibi I let out an “oh no… not again” expecting the worst, I really though that they would start fighting again or at least say nasty things to each other, I feared for my life jskskskskks but thanks god they didn’t 😭😭😭😭 I love their progress in their relationship for her sake 🥺 and I know it’s going to take Yoongi quite a while to fully trust Tae with her (understandably) but he will get there and everyone’s gonna be happy 😭

Also the part where Tae was washing oc while in the shower reminded me when it was the opposite scenario during SA and it was oc washing Tae’s sadness away while bathing… I love them so much 🥺 they have each other and that’s everything that matters 😩 I do wish Yoongi would have talked to her more considering he’s the one oc THINKS hates her for what happened, once again HE WOULD NEVER OC PLEASE HE LOVES YOU AND UNDERSTANDS YOU BABY

Oh and the little scene with Emma and Kookie sjjsksksksk I loved their bickering and I love Emma so much you don’t understand jsksksksks and Kookie bringing all his “not-made-for-travelling-to-kill-an-ancient-evil-vampire” things with him is so very Jungkook of him sjjsksksksksks

And then Jin and Hobi going after her to comfort her too… I’m just so happy the she actually has so many people that can comfort her and understand her when it comes to the feelings she has about killing someone because after all they all have gone through that and know how it feels 😔 and I love knowing more about their stories, now we know the reason behind Seokjin becoming Jack the Ripper (it stills shocks me and I want you to know even if it’s a tiny little detail of his story it really was a revelation that gagged me hssjjsksksksksksk) but anyways I just LOVE the little found family that they have formed because they all are just so wholesome and deserve everything good for all eternity 🥺 I love them all 😭

Chapter 25:

I love the sweet and domestic atmosphere that you created with all three of them just enjoying each other’s company Sibi, what a lovely thing to just be there feeling all your worries and fears slowly disappear while seeing Yoongi teaching Kookie how to play guitar so softly 😭😭😭😭 I need them in my life asap 😭 but then there comes the biggest drama queen of this whole story 🙄 how dare he call my Yoongi Boongie dramatic?! Especially coming from him 😤 like for real “Park Jimin stop being a fucking asshole” challenge failed…again! Dear Taetae just wanted him to honestly apologise for all the shit he’s done and he can’t even do that properly, please boy get your shit together you are missing being part of such a loving and healing family dynamic just cause you refuse to act like a decent person? One honest apology is not gonna make you turn into dust again Jimin 😭 I truly want for him to be better but he makes it so difficult to like him hsjsjsjsjsksk

I’m sorry, I won’t keep you.” this one's hard. i really have no clue of who this might be! i don't think it is Jin, Emma or Hobi. neither Jimin nor Tae. between Jungkook, OC, Yoongi....let's see, it could be Yoongi talking to OC (the use of "again" in the context of "keeping her there", recalling the estate scenes); it could be the other way around, though! OC talking to Yoongi, doing her best to have his attention, then he gets annoyed and she apologizes and sets off the dialogue above.

“Hobi, can you stay here tonight? I don’t wanna be alone.” without a doubt: OC

“What happened? Where are you? Are you okay?” “No. I, I need your help, please. It hurts so much, m-my head.” jesus christ. the second part is Tae. he went away for a while with Jimin and could be returning without him because -something- happened. his head hurts and he needs help. that sounds like somebody manipulated his mind and he is suffering with the consequences! since Jimin is not as strong as he was, and even then it wouldn't be possible for him to control Tae's mind in such a way, it's gotta be Namjoon. inside that house, at this moment, the only person who he can reach out to is Jungkook. and we see his desperation in the questions he make "are you okay? where are you?".

First of all Sibi what the hell 🫠 these last chapters has been a roller coaster emotions and don’t get me wrong I loved it 💜 so here are some things I want to point out
