The one thing I don't really get with most radioapple fics who's premise is Lucifer finding Alastor or healing his wound and keeping the fact he was injured a secret is this: Why would he keep the wound a secret unless specifically told to do so?

In most of these premises it's because either he or Charlie notices something off about Alastor, he himself stumbles across him during the cleanup, or Charlie asks him to talk to Alastor in an attempt to make her two father figures get along. Why would he then keep the fact Alastor was hiding an injury a secret, unprompted? If it was to keep Charlie from worrying, she'd worry more if she found out he knew and kept it secret.
