Hey everyone! this is where the zebra is currently with the design.

It has knee braces!! I will most probably be drawing the zebra usually with them on, but it’s no requirement, for example if anyone else wants to draw the zebra :-]. I always like to make sure an animal design has official colors underneath any clothing and accessory anyway. I think this will be final! thank you everyone for your feedback!

As a reminder, aside from why the zebra was requested for this flag, this is also just a zebra with the disability pride flag on it. It’s just a deisgn to fit the flag, with input from other disabled people in our community. It doesn’t mean other animals can’t have designs with these colors, too! I don’t mean this design to be the only mascot for all disabled people. It’s just a silly series i do of pride animals, and at the time, during disability pride month, I wanted to see what everyone wanted me to start off with for this flag!

I spent like an hour drawing these with my finger on my phone in a moving car, just so I could properly articulate my Hollow Knight hot take:

Adult Ghost shouldn’t look like THK but with shorter horns just because they had similar looking shells when they were young. Hollow looks the way they do now because they were the only vessel to be “Fully Grown” and “Raised to prime form”

The entire point of the Godhome Ritual is to have a symbiotic relationship between the Seekers and their God, the seekers gaining a respite from their “silent minds” while their “godly focus” elevates an entity to their most powerful form, whether that means returning them to a state of former glory, or ascending them to an all new level of power. (possibly both in some cases?)

Additionally, when Ghost uses their Void abilities (most notably, Shade Cloak), the shape of their horns become slightly more exaggerated while they are briefly void.

Quid Pro Quo; I’d say it stands to reason that a “Fully grown” and “raised to prime form” version of Ghost, would be a much LESS exaggerated version of The Shade Lord.

To further my point, consider that young Hollow’s horns only have 2 prongs, but when fully grown, they have 3 and they don’t really resemble their original shape THAT much. Ghost’s horns are rounder than young THKs, so I’d say it’s also fair to assume they could become more curved than Hollows, as well as developing a 3rd prong like Hollow’s. All this could very well be interpreted as looking something like the shape of Shade Lords head.

TL:DR:

Adult Hollow Knight: Round, spindly, sad Soul baby.

Adult Ghost: Sharp, pointy, angey Void baby.

Last night was probably the best, but also the hardest date I’ve been on.

We started out with sushi for dinner, and we talked for a few hours, which was really nice. We were vibing pretty well (although he’s more apolitical, which isn’t ideal for me) so I agreed to go back to his place when he offered so we could keep hanging out. We started watching Dune, and we cuddled a little, which my touch-starved dumbass self loved. Then we started making out, which was *chef’s kiss*. It was also the unspoken boundary I had set for myself for the night. That quickly got pushed aside because I’m very much into people pleasing, and I could tell he wanted to go further. We made it back to the bedroom, and before I could push myself any further, I let the “I’m really inexperienced” card slip. The guy immediately stopped and had me explain, and he was such a gentleman about it. He essentially told me he found me attractive (which blew my mind) and would have wanted to have sex, but that he didn’t want it to be weird for me or lead to any unrealistic expectations because he’s looking for something more casual right now. I thanked him for being honest and kind, and he hit me with the “I’m sorry you feel the need to thank me for that and that you’ve settled for less before”, and I honestly almost cried. We laid down and talked for a bit more (and made out some more, tbh), and then I left.

I feel so much guilt about being such a bad date. Things were going pretty well, and then I threw it all off. I’m glad I said something and we didn’t end up going any further, but I’m also worried that being 29 and never having had sex is off-putting to anyone I would want to date. My mental hang-ups about sex are so fucking stupid, and I don’t know why I can’t just do it. I just feel so broken.

#memorie.txt #once you’ve read more you’re more willing to admit that you love a kinda poorly written book #by god i love jackaby. the writing style is a solid 3/5 and the plot stuff is cheesy as hell.#you get a better frame of reference for ‘this book requires an award’ style of good #and a ‘god this is so my dumb little niche that scratches all those weird little itches nobody else has’ style of good #one of my fav series is the ghost and the goth!! is it good?? i don’t know if i’d go that far!!#is it fun and does it make me think of trysi / chryzure stuff??? yes :)#i’m beginning to wonder abt ppl rabid abt their fav books. anyway this one person was losing their shit over ppl liking apollo #and aurora and i’m an aurora shooter but i digress #they were foaming at the mouth and im like Well. its a little not that serious .#he is letters on a page. and also mostly irrelevant to the story as a whole so im kinda confused as to why ppl feel so strongly abt him #it’s funny because most of my complaints stem from an outside pov #where i critique the worldbuilding / plot work / character writing and its inconsistencies #whereas ppl assume im encouraging villainy irl. it is quite seriously more that the villainy is unmotivated #or otherwise poorly done. i love to hate a good villain if the proper legwork is put into it #because i like observing how others work their craft!!!#but my irritation with stephanie is that she doesn’t work her craft well. it’s shoddy craftsmanship full of retcons or #convenience required for plot that otherwise hold no reasoning in the story #and i can admit that i find the series unsatisfying because it’s marketed as a romance (the romance had little chemistry that could be #understood by anyone that’s not straight. straight romances are always laziest because it’s the ‘norm’ so that equates to chem)#and also it was marketed as having plot when rlly the ‘plot’ was trying to put these characters in weird chemistry-less situations together #so yeah i’ll complain abt the villains being jealous shallow archetypes when it could’ve had depth.#i’ll complain abt a lot. but in the end it’s a silly basic ya romance series that isn’t anything unique #most unique stories will not be found on booktok. i’m sorry #i can show you the beautiful world of horror novels though!#or weird lil 80s fantasy novels that are actually quite long that my dad likes showing me #truly no romance novel will be better than the darkangel trilogy though.. that is what stephanie wanted to write.#but that’s lightning in a bottle ithink.#okay anyway. good night. i worked a long day and i have appts in the morning
