Sick before Marriage
In which Sanji gets sick during his wedding due to stress
A/N: This is requested by my friend. She saw me making this side blog and asked if I can write my first fic dedicated to her. So, here it is! She doesn't have tumbr though so I'm emailing it to her later. I hope you guys enjoy this fic like she did!
Notes: Sanji x Fem Reader, Fluff, SFW
Sanji felt something cold against his forehead. He groaned. The last thing he remembered was seeing all the wedding food he cooked the day before wiped clean. Damn it... His head hurts just thinking about how fucked up his wedding has been so far. He tried to sit up and his whole body aches.
"Take it easy Sanji... You were out for a solid 5 hours..." Chopper said gently, helping sit up.
"Thanks Chopper... Can you get me some tea from the kitchen? Heat it up if it's cold..." Rasped Sanji, feeling his throat dry.
Chopper nodded and hurried away. Just as he left, you came in, making Sanji groan. Great. The woman he's supposed to be married to just came into his room. Just great.
"Hi honey... You alright?" You asked, concerned about the wellbeing of your soon-to-be-husband. Earlier that day, you overheard Sanji telling Zoro he is too tired and dizzy to argue with him lets him.
Sanji smiled weakly and nodded slowly, so as to not trigger the urge to puke. You approached him and sat beside him, placing a hand on his leg. You two didn't officially marry yet. Sanji passed out before Jinbe could officiate. Truthfully, Sanji felt guilty for passing out in the middle of the wedding. You look so pretty in the white dress and here he is, passing out. He does admit the fact he's sick though. He caught a fever the other day from saving Luffy from drowning.
"Sorry my love... Looks like we have to postpone the marriage... Again..." Sanji sighed. He already felt guilty for falling sick, now he's guilty that he postponed the wedding for the second time. The first, because the Marines started chasing them and second because he fell sick. He worried that you now think that he doesn't want to marry you.
However, that worry went away when you cupped his face and kissed him sweetly. As he returns the kiss, you sneakily stuffed a piece of paper into his fist. When you both pulled away, Sanji opened his fist and sees the paper in his palm.
"Honey, what is this?" He asked, his fingers fiddling with the paper.
You smirk slyly. You were pretty close to both Zoro and Luffy. You guys may or may not cooked up a little something to cheer Sanji up.
"Open it and see for yourself..."
Confused and curious, Sanji unfolded the piece of paper and read the words on it confused.
"I do..."
"HE SAID YES!"
Suddenly, Zoro appeared from under the bed, Luffy, Nami and Robin from the cupboard and Ussop and Chopper bursts into the room holding a cake while Brook played wedding music. You were smiling widely and Sanji is looking around confused.
"Bla, bla bla... Wedding shit... Vow exchange shit... Boring shit and finally I pronounce you husnabdn and wife..." Zoro said tiredly, reading off a sheet of paper.
Sanji stared at you with wide eyes.
"Wait... Does that mean..."
"Yes Sanji! We're married!"
You swear you never seen Sanji's eyes light up so fast. He pulled you close and puuled you into a kiss that lasted for a whole minuite. When he pulls away, he rests his burning forehead against yours.
"I love you my wife..."
"I love you too my husband..."

So in my mind, IrisClan is a relatively new clan, with the previous leader before Hollystar being the founder; Irisstar. The territory consists of birch forests and plains of flowers with some lakes. the clan is welcoming of loners who want to join as long as the prove they are trustworthy.
Speaking of Hollystar, he used to be a rouge called Holly who joined the clan with his older brother named Coral, after escaping from breeder twolegs. When Hollypaw was in the middle of his apprenticeship, Irisstar assigned his brother- Now Coralstrike, and other cats to do an important mission outside of the clan because of a vision he received from StarClan.
They depart and the group is away for a few moons, but Hollypaw is excited Coralstrike gets to do major stuff for the clan!... That is, until the group of cats come back carrying Coralstrike's dead body into camp. When Hollypaw demands to know what happened, non of the cats seem to want to answer him- Hollypaw becomes angry and confused at this, StarClan sent Coral on that journey so, why would they let him die like this? He bacame distant from his peers after that and continued his duties; Hollywhisper became a warrior shortly after and later became deputy because of his well preformance. During that time, the only cat he was ever close with was Asphodelberry, and eventually caused them to become mates.
One day a group of rogues(the one Firefoot comes from) who have history with Irisstar attacks the camp and kills some of the warriors, including taking Irisstar's last life. Hollywhisper goes to the Moontree along with Asterstripe to gain his 9 lives from StarClan, and becomes Hollystar.
He looks around StarClan, wondering where Coralstrike was; surely he ended up there after he died, right? Until he looks to the side, a place different from StarClan can be seen, all black and red forest... With Coralstrike watching in the distant. Hollystar is now even more angry at StarClan bc Coralstrike ended up in the Dark Forest; the situation got a bit out of control so StarClan had to force Hollystar out of StarClan for his own sake. Since then, Hollystar's relation with StarClan became.. Shaky at best, he still got his nine lives but due to what happened he is scared of what may happen if he loses one...

You couldn't help but feel Sanji tossing and turning in bed beside you. Getting annoyed with your lover's actions, you turned to face him with a light scowl on your face. However, it immediately disappears when your eyes met with sleepy blue eyes. Your blonde boyfriend is exhausted, but according to how restless he is, he can't fall asleep. Gently, you slowly cupped his tired face.
"Baby... You've been tossing for hours... Is something wrong?" You asked, fingers tracing his eye bags.
Sanji shook his head and took your hands, "No dear... I'm fine... Just can't sleep..." He admits, voice laced with drowsiness.
You felt bad for the man beside you. So sleepy, yet can't sleep. Whenever you felt restless and sleepless, Sanji is always there to help you go to sleep. Now, seeing that he is the one that needs help, you didn't hesitate to do so.
"C'mon, follow me to the kitchen... I know something that might help..." You say, taking his hand and dragging a tired Sanji out of bed.
Reluctantly, Sanji obeyed, following you to the only place on the ship he has authority over. In the kitchen, you poured some milk into a glass and slide it over to him. Sanji caught the glass with ease and shot you a questioning look.
"Drink it... It'll help make you sleepy..." You say, smiling gently at your lover.
Sanji stares at you suspiciously for a beat before chugging down the milk. When he's done, you both went to bed and see whether it works. Unfortunately, it didn't work. However, you aren't out of ideas yet. It was a chilly night today and the blanket you two shared is small and thin. You sneakily snuck into Zoro's room and stole his blanket. He's on night watch today so he won't mind. The worst that could happen is that he and Sanji will fight about it the next day. You went back into the room and threw the big green blanket over the two of you. And to sweeten things up, you cuddled near Sanji, providing extra warmth.
However, despite being so cozy and warm, Sanji still couldn't fall asleep. You both were desperate now. Everything you tried didn't work. You tried tiring him out by doing some midnight training, a hot shower, a quick snack, EVERYTHING. And yet, the blonde haired cook still couldn't sleep.
"Give it up Y/N... This useless... Go to sleep... I don't want you tired tomorrow because of me... Besides, we have a long day tomorrow..." Sanji said pushing you back into bed despite your resistence.
"No Sanji, I'm not sleeping until I know you are asleep beside me..." You reply, sitting back up.
Sanji sighs, "But we tried everything mon amour..."
You smirk slyly, "Not everything..."

"NO! There is NO way I'm letting that perverted skeleton into our room!" yelled Sanji, a hint of jealousy in his voice.
You rolled your eyes. You and Brook are best friends and nothing more. Yet, Sanji still gets jealous.
"Trust me Sanji, this will help you..." You pleaded, making puppy eyes.
Sanji groans, but relents, "Fine, but if that skeleton so much stares at you, I'm kicking him..."
When Brook enters your bedroom, you requested him to play some soothing music on his violin. He compiles and plays a melodic tune to help Sanji fall asleep. Almost immediately, Sanji's eyes grew heavy. You grab him by the shoulder and pulled him into bed beside you.
"Sleep baby..." You whisper into his ear, tracing random patterns onto his back.
"I love you mon amour... Good night...."
Those were the last things you heard from Sanji before snores came from him. You smiled and snuggled closer to the blonde.
"Good night babe..."
And with that, you two fell into a deep slumber, Brook's soothing music playing in the background.

A day off for Sanji is rare. Especially since he cooks 24/7 for his hungry captain and crew and fight off Luffy who tries to steal from the fridge. Currently, everyone is exploring the island. Franky, Sanji and you are left on the ship. You were sunbathing on deck while Franky is working on the Sunny's repairs. Sanji bursts out the kitchen, carrying a tray of an array of sweet treats for you to choose from.
"Something sweet, for someone sweet?" He offers, holding out the tray towards you.
You smile up at him. Instead of taking the sweet treat you reached for Sanji's blonde hair and ruffled it, making it messy as if he just woke up with bad bed hair.
"Haha, look at your cute hair!" You giggled as he blushed. He turned away to hide his embarrassed face as you took a cupcake off the tray on Sanji's hand.
"You know me so well.." You said with a gentle tone as you took a bite of the cupcake. You didn't admit it, but you did miss him. It's been so long since you've hung out with him. You missed his warmth, his amazing cuddles and his soft hands refined by all the cooking he's done.
"I miss you babe, its been so long since we hung out properly...." He said as if he was reading your mind.
You blushed as you both reminisced about the times you had together. It's true. It's been awhile since you guys hung out. Even if guys did, someone will always interrupt. Like Luffy begging for food or Zoro asking for more sake. As you took a bite out of the cupcake, you noticed flour is all over Sanji. The sight was comical and also... Cute.
"Sanji, you have flour in your hair..." You say, brushing his hair again.
"Ah... I knew that... I'm taking a bath later anyway..." He says, smoothing down his messy hair.
Suddenly, an idea popped in your brain.
"Hey Sanji... Wanna bathe together?" You ask him, wagging your eyebrows.
Sanji eyes widened, a smirk playing on his lips. "Well mon amour, since you asked so nicely..."

In the bathroom, Sanji has a towel wrapped around his waist as he fills the bath tub with warm water. You had your back facing him as you undress. It's been awhile since you saw each other naked, so it's a bit of an embarrassment. However, the moment you both settled into the bath, all the tension dispersed. You both settled into the bath and you lean against Sanji's only slightly but muscular frame. You felt the water enveloping your body, washing off all the dirt and grim of yourselves.
"This is nice..." You heard him say, feeling his body slowly sink deeper into the water.
You giggled and pushed him all the way down, soaking his hair. He screamed and pulled you down with him, causing you to giggle. When you both resurface, Sanji is glaring at you.
"Idiot, ne fais pas ça !" He yelled, brushing his bangs out of his face, revealing both his eyes.
Mesmerized by the beauty in his eyes, you stop giggling. Damn, were his blue eyes attractive.
"Sanji... Your eyes are so pretty..." You say, shifting on your boyfriend's lap to get a better look at his eyes.
Sani blushed, "Stop it, mon amour... You know how I feel about you staring..." He says, turning you back around to wash your hair.
The feeling of his fingers scratching your scalp soothingly as he applies the shampoo makes your eyes droop. You only snap back awake when Sanji shileded your eyes.
"Close them mon chéri..." He instructed as he poured some water over your eyes, washing off the soap.
You relax into his touch as he scrubs you clean. In return, you wash him the same way he did to you, paying close attention to his sensitive areas. When you both are clean, neither Sanji or you suggested on getting out of the bath. It feels too god damn cozy in the warm bath.
However, you both know you need to get out before the crew comes back. You dries yourselves off and Sanji even allowed you to wear on of his sweaters.

I would appreciate if you write cute fluffy head cannons about how he runs extremely hot and cold.(Like he's cold to others but kind to you) And these headcannons are in a school AU/grown up AU / just being a couple! I'll be specific and give some suggestions: how does he act when he sees y/n talking to someone else; how does he behave when others talk to him compared to y/n; how he snuggles up with you ( ꈍᴗꈍ); how he's extremely overprotective. When people talk to him, he will reply to them coldly
Most of the time with "Mm" or random noises
When YOU talk to him, he suddenly becomes talkative
Usually, in class, he's always super bored falls asleep
Somehow still gets straight A's and he teases you about it
"Haha, I got higher than you
"Babe, I have a B+"
"Yeah, and I got A+"
"ZORO!"
Despite the teasing, he's a real softie towards you

However, Zoro likes to go into your room at random points of the night for cuddles

When you do these, he's always super sleepy

He might not be the best lover but he tries
